-Been seeing a lot of white guilt here on Tumblr, all the "WAHWAH!! George Washington was a slave owner!!1!1" crap. I posted this video in response with the following transcript because...preach it, brother!
They are failing these grifters are. The reparations grift is collapsing. That's because the reparations grift and the whole race hustle scam as a whole depends on instilling and maintaining a deep sense of guilt in white people, but you just cannot keep an entire race of people crippled by undeserved guilt over ancient history forever. It just doesn't work psychologically. Eventually that guilt turns into exhaustion and the exhaustion turns into resentment or at best indifference, and that's when the scam blows back on the scam artist. We're seeing that happen more and more actually.
For example, I recently tweeted a statement that's completely uncontroversial to anybody with a baseline understanding of world history. Here's what I wrote this a few days ago. I tweeted this quote: "Slavery is world history. White people did not invent it and were not the first to practice it but were the first to abolish it. The last place in the world to still have legal slavery was Africa. It wasn't fully legally abolished on the continent until 1981."
Now most people reacting to that post were agreeing with it because it's obviously true. Slavery was an unquestioned fact of life across the entire world for thousands of years. In fact, for thousands of years nobody even thought to question the institution. The most enlightened minds in the world for thousands of years might have suggested that slaves should be treated humanely in some circumstances, but nobody rejected slavery fundamentally as a concept. This was the case again everywhere among all people for Millennia. White Europeans were the first ones to argue that slavery as an institution should not exist at all, and that the slaves themselves have the right have a human right to be free.
I'd argue he was wrong about slavery being abolished. There are still countries where it is practiced openly, not to mention that sex slavery is a norm in many nonwhite countries to the point Muslims and such see no problem with migrating to a western world country to sponge on entitlements at the same time as they make whores out of underprivileged natives (white privilege, yo). All the race hustling has done is create tension and genocidal language against whites to the point black-on-white violence is becoming commonplace. -And it's all because these leftwing people who are often the worst people on earth think they can lecture us. These leftwing skeevers and weirdos and grifter bloodworms think they have some sort of moral authority. White people need to tell them, "Hey, FUCK YOU!! I'm not worried about the 'white supremacist' guilt tactic anymore!" The more you tell someone to go fuck themselves, the easier it gets, especially since these nasty, small-minded cunts on the left are often seasoned bullies who use cancel culture to get around the social stigma of anti-bullying campaigns.

went on a nice long drive through west virginia today. soooo pretty. i never spent much time there.
it was really nice skitterin through small towns and seeing pride flags hangin on the front doors of businesses in these rural areas. like, more than one. *especially* because WV is one of the most heavily and harmfully stereotyped states in the region
tiny things like this show some things are really changing for the better in appalachia, and i'm tired of people pretendin they ain't just so they got more fuel for their hateful narrative about us.
when i was a teenager i never even saw that kinda thing in comparatively progressive western nc. and now here i was today, windin through the hills of west virginia with rainbows blowing everywhere
keep being loud and unapologetic, y'all. it's working

Any guesses why I always find carcasses in trash piles?
In VA I found some dead dogs in an illegal dump, which was suspicious, and in CA I found a deer with its head cut clean off and none of the other meat taken, at the same Borax lake where I found a lot of trash. So in those cases I suspect foul play. But otherwise?

I'm still not well so this isn't going to be articulate, but I wanted to say something anyway.
In the wake of Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (amongst other titles) being purged from streaming I've seen countless posts saying "This is terrible, we need to stop this practice -- they might purge a good show next!" and yeah, for sure a lot of titles being impacted by streaming purges/lack of physical media/a decline in archiving right now aren't going to be remembered for changing the world.
However, I think it is vital that we fight to preserve these titles for their own sake not just because "What if next time it's something we actually like?!" There is value is preserving things widely regarded as "bad" not just because I have firm beliefs about the absurdity of taste, but because who gives a shit if something is deemed "good?" Actual human people put their time and energy into realising these artistic visions. Even if the results are arguably not "good" or "popular", should the efforts of these artists be lost to the sands of time? No, no they fucking shouldn't.
I share a lot of art on this blog from titles very few people consider culturally important or valuabe. However, I don't look at the things I collect & share like that. Even some of the most objectively absurd titles I own are still pieces of art that were developed, published, and consumed by humans in the real world. Whether they've turned out to be broadly memorable or not is irrelevant because they existed and that in itself makes them worthy of preservation so that others can choose to familiarise themselves with them long after the original creative team is gone.
So yes, we should all be trying to preserve the media that's important to us and not let corporations try to stamp out every trace of a financial (though not necessarily artistic) misstep. However, it shouldn't take the threat of something we, personally, like being taken away to stir us into giving a shit.
Even the demise of less admired works should concern us and make us start to burn copies of Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies because it might not mean anything to you or I right now, but to some kid in 20 years it could be a seminal experience that leads them to follow their dreams. Or it could become a cult classic that people reflect on at watch parties years in the future. Or it could continue to be a footnote in the history of television that nobody really cares about.
Ultimately I don't think it matters what level of value we arbitrarily assign to media now or in the future, we should be trying to preserve as much of it as possible so that generations from now people can enjoy the option of engaging with these titles should they so wish.

User @mileapodevotion is reposting gifs from various KinnPorsche giffers. They removed watermarked gifs when I confronted them. But became defensive and uncooporative when I asked whether they made the unwatermarked gifs from the same post.
Tumblr media
As I feared, those gifs belong to other giffers. A reblog of mileapodevotion's post showed that it had my gifs as well as others cobbled together.
At the moment, the gifs that are still on this post have different colorings and qualities, a dead giveaway that they come from different sources.
Tumblr media
There are ways to tell if a gifset is reposted even without the watermark. First, the positioning and coloring. Second, the number of frames and frame speed. It is very hard to accidentally replicate these exact parameters on one gif much less every single gif in the entire set to match someone else's.
Please don't reblog a post that you suspect might contain stolen works.
Besides, if this user really did create these gifs, they wouldn't have had any problem showing the psd files. They of course don't have such files.
This is clearly a stealer who is reluctant to own up to their ignorance. They have one chance, shape up (stop stealing, apologize for their mistakes) or ship out. I imagine it'd be very hard for them to steal if half the community blocks them.
TL;DR Please respect giffers' works. Tumblr is the only platform where we can get them out to fandoms. Unchecked reposting makes creators lose trust and stop creating altogether.
REBLOG DON'T REPOST. Alert creators. Block reposters. Make sure they know reposting don't have a place in this space.
While we're at that, @staff can you please bring back the option to report misattribution?

I’ll never forget how once my ex joked I “live under a rock” and when I asked how he showed me a Snapchat reel of “hot celebrity gossip,” after which he pointed out I don’t keep up with any of it. I really dated that that’s so embarrassing

I can't imagine how quality my life would be if people were willing to listen to niche, incredibly strange cornered personalities. I'm such an interesting person, but people don't speak my language 98% of the time and nobody cares to unless you speak the mainstream, boring oversaturated languages that people speak with celebrity pop culture, influencers, and the so forth. The worthlessness that I feel from not being able to fit into mainstream society has made a black mark. Still, the niche incredibly strange personality persists.
I'm just a incredibly strange mentally ill, genuinely schizophrenic incredibly imaginative maladaptive daydreaming mentally ill person who cannot tell fantasy from reality, but I feel like it could have been so much more than that if society had spaces for more niche corners like us to speak.

believe it or not if you have a big following online and you're a bitch to ppl about what they write/etc in a way that incites your followers to go after certain ppl and flame them/send them death threats/wtv else, you're fucking trash and you don't belong on online spaces.
i mean if you're into purity culture you're straight up not a good person in my book so i don't find it odd that you're that much of an asshole that you try to ruin someone's life like that.
like you being a dick about what someone writes/draws because it's bad in your eyes (EVEN THO ITS ALL FAKE) 100% equals you being ok with death treats to irl ppl and their unhappiness.
get off your high horse. stop trying to police ppl. and stop complaining in a way that fucks over certain ppl.
go away you're fucking annoying.
if you're not happy with something don't read it.
if you're not happy with a certain kink don't read it.
write your own shit.
go read what you like.
leave us the fuck alone.
