Day 7 on Crete

Today we woke up and ate some breakfast, then it was time to check out from the hotel. We put all the suitcases in a small room so we could do some other things while we waited.

I opened a cider to calm my nerves. Finally the taxi came and drove us to the airport and there we had to wait for 2 hours before it was time to get on the plane and travel home. The flight home went much better than the trip there.

Now we are finally home and it will be so nice to sleep in my own bed tonight and not their hard beds. One thing I take with me from here is that I shouldn't pack so many clothes. I basically wore the same clothes all the time so many of the clothes I packed didn't even get used which was a bit sad. But but that's a story for next time. 😊

Day 6 on Crete.

The day started with us going to eat breakfast and it was good as always. After breakfast we went for a really long walk, it felt like that just of all the heat. A walk that would take 25 min with Google maps felt like 1 hour. ☀️

We went to Lidl to buy diapers for the little troll. Then you had to go back all the way in scorching heat. On the way home I bought a t-shirt for dad and body lotion for mom. I can't leave the island without buying them something. We also stopped at the jewelry store where I bought my bracelets because my oldest son wanted a necklace and he got it. 💎

Then my boyfriend decided to go with the big troll and snorkel while me and the little troll would stay here at home and do something fun. We went to the beach and dug a little in the sand and found some nice shells and stones, we ate some fries and then we mostly hung out at the hotel and snuggled. There were still no people bathing In the sea the waves were still strong. 🌊

When my boyfriend and the big troll came home, they told me that they had been kicked away by NATO because they apparently had something secret behind that island. But he who drove the boat should know that, you might think. But i suppose it was an experience for them. 🇬🇷

Now I have to try to sleep because tomorrow we are finally going home. Im not that excited to fly in a metal can but still im going home. 🥰
