Let me tell you guys about my friend here, Mr. Incomprable! I call him that cause I honestly…don’t know his name. 🤣 However, he was the funniest guide I had met during this entire trip. Very knowledgeably, fun, and informative. …………………………. Upon arriving to Ait Ben Haddou, this gladiator looking man, came marching over to our van. I got so scared 😳, as did everybody else on our tour. I immediately thought 💭, we are about to get hijacked or something. 😂 So this man pulls the door to our van open and stomps into the van, and yells : “Anybody here speak French?” **Proceeds to talk in French. “Anybody here speak Spanish?” **Proceeds to talk in Spanish. “Anybody here speak Portuguese?” **Proceeds to talk in Portuguese. “Anybody here speak English?” **Proceeds to talk in English. I have to say, I’m always highly impressed by a man skillful in multiple languages. Anywho, he overheard me helping to translate for a few people in my tour group, and immediately became my friend. 😂 Next thing I know my name went from Lindsay to “Fatima.” Don’t ask me who “Fatima” is. 🤷🏾‍♀️ But ever since he started calling me that, everybody started calling me that. So I guess my Sahara Desert name is “Fatima.” Matter of fact, he would tell the other folks there, in French, not to talk to his woman! Jokingly of course. 🤣 He was always keeping a watchful eye on me in case I got lost. Yelling, “Fatima, yalla, yalla!” 😂 …………………………. Nonetheless, he was really a charming and entertaining guide. So if you head to the desert, specifically Ait Ben Haddou, look for this guy! Comme vous l’avez vu dans mes stories, je suis en plein road trip. Voyager pendant l’hivernage peut sembler périlleux mais je suis agréablement surprise de voir autant de beaux paysages avec toute cette belle verdure 😍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Il y’avait tellement de champs de mil sur la route !
