“Momo”
Momo is my peach tree who is now 6 years old and has given me 2 years of beautiful peaches, I absolutely love that peach tree, this was a painting I did when he was only about 1 or 2 years old, this is how big I pictured him to be fully grown. He has gotten bigger then I expected and is thriving.

My second time painting this photo (from a 2011 walk) of this tree. It took some digging, but the first painting (in the line-up of 3 paintings) was from back in August 2014, almost 10 years ago. It's always weird to look back at old art and think, this is simultaneously better than I expected, and about as bad as I expected.

[gouache on paper]
Again a small colour study. I like how the tree turned out but the perspective in the background was hard to get right. I would like to try this again on a bigger canvas once my exams are over :)

I taught painting classes for three years, I thought I'd apply those techniques on my tablet.

Couple small studies of a big tree near Nanaimo. I consider myself a painter, but when I haven't practiced in a while it still takes many paintings to get back into it.
