If you wish to honour the late Angela Lansbury in your game but don’t know how do what our dm did!!

The big bad sent an army to attack the city were in and the arch mage of the city’s collage and council called for every free set of armour available and that any casualties against a necromancers army would be another force against us.

We didn’t know what our dm was planning so we agreed with the request and got every bit of armour and weapons we could find. Cut to like 5 minutes later there’s nearly 10,000 suits of armour and a lot of naked guards meanwhile the city is still under siege and then suddenly the DM plays, “"Treguna mekoides trecorum satis dee." Followed by the call to arms.

The best part?! The arch mage’s name is Eglantine!!!!!!

HE BEDKNOBS AND BROOMSTICKSED US!!!!

He even included the armour chanting in the sound bites for the battle! We drove them back and saved the city, and topped it off with the arch mage saying to the general of the big bad “things may not be so easy for you after all~”

So yes, honour the greatest witch of all time in your games your players will love it! ~Bambi

Okay this one really hurts. Dame Angela Lansbury has passed away. To most people, she will always be known as Jessica Fletcher from Murder, She Wrote, but to me she will always be Miss Eglantine Price from Bedknobs and Broomsticks. B&B was one of my favorite movies as a kid and I watched it so many times growing up. R.I.P. Angela Lansbury. "Treguna, Mekoides, Trecorum, Satis Dee!"

This may sound silly, but when I was a teeny kid, Angela Lansbury’s portrayal of an earnestly studious witch inspired me.  I still think in some ways it was a very accurate depication of what some witches work through in their development.  I loved how she played that role.   Treguna Mekoides Trecorum Satis Dee.
