It was at that moment Alucard realized... his taste in men was terrible.

Hubby made the joke; I turned it into a drawing. Had to finish it in time to tuck into his Valentine's Day card *shh* (of course now his attention has shifted to Juste and his furniture hoarding ways, *sigh*)

Had he been asked to explain what was his relationship with the Belmont, Hector would be lost as to where to begin.

He had been sent to kill him in his tracks. He chose to flee, instead. He knew that he would have been accused of cowardice, but that wasn't the case: he trusted the feared Belmont to do what he did not have the strength or the guts to do, to stop his own Lord in his madness.

But that had not been enough to wash his sins off his back, because without asking for an explanation, the Belmont nearly killed him the first time he had laid eyes on him. Hector took the whipping in silence and swallowed the mockery that followed: it was the punishment he deserved.

Belmont's behavior defied reason as well. He spoke to him with aloofness and distrust one moment, then with warm encouragement the next. He fought him again, and Hector's bruises still smarted by the time he was let go, but this time as a show of respect. Hector could not make sense of that man, the alleged legend that fought against all evil. Yet, he could not say he disdained him either.

What Hector found completely unexplicable, instead, was why Belmont's glowing praise, once Hector had killed his old master, ignited something warm in his chest. Or why the bedridden man could not tear his gaze away from him.

The lingering silence in the air weighed more on Trevor's chest than Dracula's monstrous paw.

Miss Laforeze - no, Julia, she had asked him to call her - changed the bandages on Trevor's chest in silence, face contrite with guilt as if she had been the one who assaulted him. It was written in her pale eyes, the way her bangs would fall over her eye. Sins of the family: Trevor knew all too well about them.

"I do not blame you," he broke the unbearable silence, and he was pleased to hear his own voice regaining its strength.

The witch shook her head. "I know I am being irrational... but I do wish I had done more to help my brother... or keep him from doing harm..."

"You are not your brother's keeper, and his actions do not speak of your failures."

That was also uncomfortably familiar, dredging recent memories that should have been left in a coffin. Comforting someone else who cursed himself for the sins of his father, but still chose to remove himself from the world. Trevor sighed, and clasped Julia's hand in his, in a strong hold that he hoped it could be reassuring to her.

"You are already doing more than enough," he smiled to the woman. "You've guided Hector to the point that he's now doing my job for me! You found me in the castle and you took me home to heal me. You have nothing to apologize for. Everything will be solved for the better, trust me... or trust Hector, at the very least."

He did not focus much on the implications of his own words. There was no doubt in his mind that Isaac would have to die for the Curse to be dispelled (and, in the private corners of his heart, he was only disappointed that Hector would get the chance and not him: the horrid touch of that man still lingered on his skin), but it was not his intention to burden the poor woman even more than she already was.

"I have faith in both of you, and in the morrow." Julia, at long last, returned her smile in kind. "Thank you."

Her hand lingered on his for a second more, before she returned to her work.

Yes absolutely! Sorry it took me a while to get to this, I'm slowly trying to post more writing again, college really does ya in lol. But anyway!

Polyamorous Reader X Alucard | Sypha | Trevor

Note: Doing this like the last one where all 4 are dating each other, and I'm gonna do my best to answer the questions mentioned above ^^

Alucard really likes kissing a few spots; your wrist, your neck, your lips, etc. The others tend to tease him a bit for liking the "classic vampire spots" but he just waves them off or kisses them to shut them up

Sypha has a lot more tender and sweet kisses, usually aiming for your hand, your temple, your forehead, and of your lips.

Trevor is a classic, mainly aiming right for the lips and usually only there, however if yall are being a bit more,,, "private" ;) he actually really likes kissing your collarbone and stomach. (What can I say he's a whore.)

Alucard sleeping is usually quite cute, often making little whimpers and sounds while he dreams, but he has nightmares sometimes and can wake up in a cold sweat and screaming. He feels bad when he wakes everyone with this, but a group hug and peppering him with kisses usually does the trick.

Sypha often stays up later than she should, reading, looking at the stars, toying with her magic, but she can't fall asleep first. She's used to her family, and she was never the first one asleep there. Often you find your head in her lap before falling asleep, and if its not yours, one of the other two. She enjoys it, playing with your hair and humming while you fall asleep before she joins you.

Trevor snore lightly, and as much as he won't admit it, loves being in the center. He acts all tough, like he always wants to be the big spoon, but there's nothing he loves more than being in the center of a cuddle pile.

Alucard often ends up the big spoon when Trevor gives in and lets himself be vunerable, but the four of you rotate. Alucard prefers big spoon most of the time, due to his height. Sypha likes it as well, but knows she will end up staying up too late if she isn't at least one person in. Trevor will take the other side and let you be in the middle but he will never complain if he is on the inside with you.

Surprisingly, its Alucard whos the blanket hog. He grew up with a lovely bedroom of his own, and an only child, so he was never short on blankets, and if he needed more they were simply a "Father!" shout away. He does try not to, but there's been so many times where someone has to wake up him to release his iron grip off the comforters.

Trevor usually wakes up first, as he's used to traveling at the crack of dawn. If not him, then Sypha, and Alucard wakes up last. Sypha is used to waking up early to help travel with her family, and Alucard got to sleep in during his youth.

I hope you like it! It's been a while since I've done anything related to castlevania, but I hope to keep doing them as I'm planning on rewatching the show with my partner soon ^^

i really wanna know, what was everyone’s thoughts about castlevania s4?? i just finished rewatching the series with my gf and i really loved all the parts with the striga vampires (surprise surprise) + hector & isaac and didn’t really care about what was going on with trevor sypha and alucard. i thought the writing for the main part of the story was significantly worse and ended up being pretty convoluted but i wanna see what other people have to say 😶😶
