Noticed something odd with one of Trey Kennedy's recent video "5 Types of People on the 4th of July."

What's the problem? The entire thing is stolen! Even the part at the end with the dog, and the "woke" one being in a black hoodie.

Two years ago, Dude Dad uploaded the video "5 people on Fourth of July." If you watch both of them, you can clearly tell Trey stole EVERYTHING in his video from Dude Dad's video. Even worse, there isn't anywhere where Trey states that he was inspired by or recreating Dude Dad's video.

Sorry I never gave a proper update on tumblr——

here’s some brainstorming doodles from Keo and me on the white board and some examples Keo made in my notebook. I won’t forget it, one of my harshest note was “NEVER draw Kenny in 3/4!! Trey hates that!” 🤣 The story leads stressed that Trey is very particular with acting decisions and poses, most of which don’t translate into the animation. It’s for him at the editing stage, to “make his voice sing”. Getting into Trey’s head, funnily enough, requires FEELING. Feeling what he’s going for in terms of delivery, to learn what not to take literally in his script (when trey says “kathleen kennedy is like terminator” it’s not what you initially think it means), what emotion or gesture to put in to elevate a joke, to get the message through. It’s so fascinating!

In short, I didn’t make the cut. I was “too fresh”, and needed more experience with the technical aspect of storyboarding…. but I was complimented by Keo for my intuition, something that can’t be taught. I was over the moon when I was told I got the style of the show, whereas other trainees with 10+ experience couldn’t. Some of them tested but don’t even watch the show!! That’s crazy, but I guess that’s to be expected. My knowledge of the show and deep love for the characters got me this far, but I need to work on my actual story boarding skills (keo said my struggles are in composition and scaling) to stay!! 💪🏼 I’m taking this… as a not yet, not a no. I’m already on their radar, in their database, I’m incredibly lucky I got to make my THIRD connection in the studio, I just need to work on myself until I can arrive. I’m so grateful for all the support from friends family and industry moots to get me this far, it’s only the beginning of the year but I don’t think anything could top what happened to me this March!!!!!

Good capture of Halloween! This was filmed on the aisle so you can see some people getting up and walking around at times. South Park: Joining the Panderverse drops on Paramount+ today and in this clip, Cartman realizes his greatest nightmare where he’s replaced by a “diverse woman.”

“It wasn’t just me, they were taking all my favorite people and replacing them with diverse women complaining about the patriarchy,” says a stirred Cartman to his mother.

But co-creator Trey Parker and Matt Stone dig further:

“Will you check under the bed and make sure there are no Disney executives under there?” says Cartman.

“I’m scared Mom! Will you please just look and make sure Kathleen Kennedy isn’t under my bed!” he pleads.

“Kathleen Kennedy is not under your bed” responds Cartman’s mom.

“I’ve told you there’s no such thing as Disney executives who replace everyone you love with diverse women who complain about the patriarchy. Now be a big boy,” she adds.

In South Park: Joining the Panderverse, the adults, too, are also wrestling with their own life decisions as the advent of AI is turning their world upside down. Why is Kennedy a target? Cartman blames her for “why the Disney movies all suck now.” In the special, Kennedy and Disney CEO Bob Iger reveal that they’ve been using a devise known as “the Pander Stone”, a piece of AI that makes the same movie over and over again, appealing to the masses. Kennedy use of the Pander Stone in the episode fractures the multiverse with Cartman and Kennedy sent to the wrong universe.

The special is part of several exclusive Paramount+ South Park events including South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park the Streaming Wars and South Park The Streaming Wars Part I.

In 2022, South Park the series celebrated the 25th anniversary of its August 13, 1997 debut on Comedy Central. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and Kenny were first seen in the animated short “The Spirit of Christmas,” and from there were launched into television history.
