MERLIN TRENDING!!! TIMEE TO SHARE MY IMMORTAL LEON IDEAS!!!!
Ok so the idea is he was originally supposed to be sacrificed to Isla, aka The Crone, aka the old part of the Triple Goddess, aka the goddess of the moon - death - winter - destruction - fate - and beauty (in my AU). He was born at least 100 years before Uther’s reign. Anyways, Isla was out of town that day (or some other excuse), but Panya, aka The Mother, aka the middle aged part of the Triple Goddess, aka the goddess of the earth - harvest - spring - birth - and luck (in my au). Panya takes pity on Leon and allows him refuge. After a while they fall in love. Panya brings him before Isla and Kaya, aka The Maiden, aka the youngest part of the Triple Goddess, aka the goddess of the sun - summer - fall - love - marriage - virginity - and acceptance although they each are technically separate entities, they once were one - The Triple Goddess - and so together after making him go through tests, the Goddess grants Leon immortality. Leon and Panya wed, and as the years go by Leon becomes a knight. insert excuse as to why no one knows he’s immortal here. My idea for how this would be revealed is that after winning Camlan (yes im delulu), Arthur decides it’s time to make peace with the druids. To do so, a representative from the major Druid encampments comes to the treaty talk and Panya is there as well. At some point it is revealed that she and Leon are married and everyone is just like “whaaaaaat?” And that’s when Leon reveals his immortality.

🌛🌝🌜 Harvesting the power of the Triple Goddess
Tumblr media
It's been a while, witches...
If you're like me and feel a bit burned out in this end of year, here's my idea to revive your spirit and get some much-needed energy back before 2024 starts.
🌛🌝🌜 Let's harvest the power of the triple goddess in the last 3 weeks of 2023.
🌛 Morning
Harvesting the power of the Maiden, which represents enchantment, inception, expansion, the promise of new beginnings, birth, youth and child-like enthusiasm.
Activity: 15 minutes morning meditation to reflect on the year, where you are today, the day's goals and challenges, and where you want to be next year.
🌝 Day
Harvesting the power of the Mother, which represents ripeness, fertility, sexuality, energy, fulfilment, stability, power and life.
Activities: daily act of creation, which can mean anything to you and your life - spell-casting, exercising, dancing, knitting, baking or cooking, crafting, decorating... The only requirement is that it is something you do just for you.
🌜 Evening
Harvesting the power of the Crone, which represents wisdom, repose, rest, death and endings.
Activity: ending the day with a book, to extract wisdom from other people and perspectives, and going to bed early, to feel rested and recover from the day.

We were taught to fear the dark, yet it's in the dark the divine resides. The darkness is a womb of creation and destruction, it's where we all begin and end.
The darkness is where the witch, the wise wild woman, the crone, the rebel, and the healer weave their magic. Throughout history, women had to cloak themselves in darkness in order to not be burned, disowned, and cast out. Our ancestors had to become shadows in order to survive, finding sanctuary in the underworld. It's in that descent that they were able to nurture their intuition, deepen their wisdom, and find the strength to rise when they were ready to reclaim their power.
In the depth of darkness healing takes root, soul to darkened soil, we must bury ourselves in its inky solitude. For the truth takes shape in the shadows.
During a meditation dark goddess energy. Persephone appeared and told me, "look within for answers." Hecate and Circe were there in the background and so was Lilith. Before I left I asked Lilith what she wanted me to know since she was recently sending me messages. She stepped forward, long black hair, deep red dress (she has black angel wings but they were not being shown) and said, "I want you to work more with your darkness, it's there that the divine resides."
I am being called to work closely with the dark feminine energies and am excited to explore them with you!

When I think about a Greek goddess with whom people can identify the Wiccan Triple Goddess, Hecate makes sense, sure, but hear me out on this: Hera is a very good fit as a triple goddess too, even better, in my opinion, than Hecate, despite the latter literally being represented with three bodies.
Hera’s cult in Stymphalia identified her as going through a three-fold cycle where she goes through the phase of Pais (“child”), Teleia (“complete”, here referring to her as a wife and a mother. She notably shares this one with Zeus), and Chera (“widow”/“absent”, which refers to her separation from her husband in multiple myths).
This Wiccan Triple Goddess, with her Maiden-Mother-Crone cycle, sounds a little too similar to the Pais-Teleia-Chera aspects of Hera’s cult in Stymphalia.
I’m not trying to make a point here, just pointing out the similarities between the two.

So the whole maiden mother crone thing is genderessentialist bullshit. I know. But where did that idea even come from?
I mean, it doesn't have to be gender essentialist bullshit, it depends on how its applied... it just happens to be very popular with gender essentialists.
As for the origins -- there are a bunch of different "triple goddesses" in different mythologies -- a few who fall into the maiden/mother/crone pattern, but many who don't. The idea is largely believed to have begin with this woman Jane Ellen Harrison, who kind of "flattened" a lot of goddesses into this archetype. She bought into a lot of the same ideas that Margaret Murray would make popular.
The person who's largely responsible for spreading the Triple Goddess bullshit though is this guy Robert Graves, with his book The White Goddess. Graves is the loudest voice, and his work has been largely discredited -- but if I was going to blame one person for it becoming popular... it's his ass.

Selene- Personification of the Moon 🌙
Tumblr media
Selene is said to be the personification of the Moon. Especially the crescent moon which is one of her symbols. This association also makes her apart of the triple Goddess. Selene rides a chariot pulled by milky white horses across the nights sky.
Selene is daughter to Titans Hyperion and Theia and sister to Sun God Helios and Eos the Goddess of the dawn.
She had a number of lovers, falling most famously for a mortal Endymion. She couldn’t bare to see him turn old and so a spell was cast on Endymion placing him in a deep slumber with everlasting youth. This didn’t prevent the Goddess from visiting him and having 50 of his children. (This number represents the number of lunar months between each Olympiad)
Selene has a daughter with Zeus after an affair named Pandeia.
Her weakness is abandonment and is unable to stay faithful to men or Gods.
Tumblr media
Some offerings for Selene would include:
Moonstone
Silver
Moon water
Seashells
And any moon symbolism
Her powers consists of transporting the Moon, intuition, control of dreams and the feminine cycle.
Her symbols include:
Triple moon Goddess
Horses
Silver
Chariots
Torches
Water
The suit of cups
Tumblr media
Prayer to Selene:
“Hail Selene, Queen of the night
My heart is with thee
Blessed are thou
Among the stars
And blessed is thy face
Forever changing
Holy Luna, light upon my path
May I walk in beauty in your silver light
Be with me now and forever
Blessed be!”

Wheel of Hecate
The Hecate’s Wheel is an ancient symbol connected with the cult of the goddess Hecate whose meaning is still debated and mysterious.
The symbol that we see in modern days consists of a maze with three distinct whirls that are connected in the center. The number three recalls to the triple form of the goddess that was seen as ruler of the sky, sea, and earth and guardian of the crossroads. The labyrinth recalls to the ancient labris of the Minoan culture representing transformation and rebirth.
Many are the possible origins and interpretation of this symbol represented in the past as a four spoked or eight spoked wheel symbolizing the four seasons, the four elements or a primeval representation of the lunar or season cycle.
The four spoked wheel represented an ancient tool called the Iynx, a small metal or wooden discs rotated by pulling attached strings that reproduced the pulse call of the Eurasian wryneck, a bird called Iynx. This bird was originally associated with Aphrodite and according to the myth this tool was used as a magical love-charm to draw lovers together or to draw out passion.
The Iynx is sometimes associated with the Strophalos another spinning tool used in the ancient cult of Hecate. According to the Chaldean Oracles the Strophalos was a spinning top dedicated to the goddess Hecate used to invoke the presence of the deity in the celebration of a ritual. By summoning the divine presence, and through the sound produced by the spinning, the theurgist was able to reach prophetic visions.
Spinning tools and their ability to connect the divine world with the mortal one is seen also in the cult of Dionysus. According to the myth the Titans used toys to lure Dionysus and eat him, these toys had a specific religious significance connected with the divine power of Dionysus. Among these toys there was an ancient object called Rhombos or Kohnos, a spinning top that made sounds that resembled the thunder or the bullroarer and that represented the divine power of Dionysus Tauropon and Bromio. The spinning movement of the object also resemble the movement of tornadoes and the idea of Mania, the alteration of consciousness that was used to attain vision and enlightenment.
The wheel of Hecate is now seen as an esoteric symbol connected with the triple form of the goddess and her feminine power over life and death, but the genesis of this symbol probably lies behind ancient magical tools capable of connecting humans to deities and used for divination purposes. The symbol represents Hecate’s control over liminal spaces and her ability to connect this world to the divine one and to its mysterious knowledge.

Black Moon Lilith Observations
Lilith (also known as Black Moon Lilith) offers a lot of insights into the powerful parts of yourself that you’re afraid to show off to the rest of the world. It also works as one of the most powerful gates towards shadow work, since she represents not just aspects we suppress, but also the ones we were denied at some point. She’s also associated with Hekate, who is considered the goddess of witches and strongly associated with the occult world. The Dark Goddess archetype as a whole is associated with sex, death, obsession, addiction, transformation, resurrection, magic, and the taboo. It is the birth-canal between the spiritual dimension, (or the underworld) and life on the physical plane.
I’ve noticed that women with BML conj ASC, Moon or Venus particularly are viewed as seductresses and judged very harshly for it. This makes it easier for them to deal with a lot of feelings of inadequacy, as if they were being punished for simply existing.
Also, I’ve seen a pattern with women who have a strong connection to Hekate or their own magical powers if menstrual cycle occurs when their natal Lilith is conjunct the transit Moon or viceversa. Same if transit Lilith and Moon are conjunct.
Now, in Synastry I’ve seen a repetitive “spellbound” or “bewitched” effect for the Planet person towards Lilith. As if the planet cannot help but fall under the charms and sensual nature of Lilith, and this is even more noticeable when the aspects are towards ASC, Moon, or Venus. Their deepest and darkest desires arise with ease. Including all the repressed sexual energy or any part that has been distorted in terms of feminine energy. Conjunctions and Oppositions with close orbs (5 or less) are felt the strongest. So, do not be surprised if the planet person ever comes across the idea that the Lilith person has put a spell on them, regardless if it’s true or not.
