1. История биржи

Биржа BitMex появилась в 2014 году, ее название произошло от трех слов: Bitcoin + Mercantile + Exchange. Она имеет официальную регистрацию на Сейшельских островах, главный офис находится в Гонконге. Учредителями биржи BitMex являются:

Артур Хейз. В прошлом – трейдер деривативов с большим опытом, а также маркет-мейкер биржевых фондов в Citibank (крупнейший международный банк) и Deutsche Bank.

Самюэль Рид. Эксперт в области компьютерных наук, программист с 10-летним стажем, разработчик веб-приложений работающих в реальном времени, участник многих проектов с открытым исходным кодом.

Бен Дело. Выпускник Оксфордского университета, магистр компьютерных наук и математики, создатель высокочастотных торговых систем.

3. Процесс регистрации на бирже BitMEX

Регистрация на торговой площадке не займет много времени. Чтобы присоединиться к числу пользователей биржи, заходим на официальный сайт https://www.bitmex.com (при регистрации по ссылке получаете 10% скидки на комиссию), в правом верхнем углу находим кнопку «Регистрация» и нажимаем на нее.

Далее заполняем такие поля:

Электронная почта. Используем только рабочую, так как в дальнейшем с ее помощью нужно активировать аккаунт (через письмо от робота), кроме того она поможет в случае утраты пароля.

Пароль. Придумываем любой, главное, чтобы он был сложным (содержал прописные и заглавные буквы, цифры, можно добавить специальные символы).

Выбираем страну из выпадающего списка.

Имя и фамилию можно не писать, если вы желаете остаться анонимными.

Ставим галочку, принимая условия пользования, нажимаем на кнопку «Регистрация».

Подтверждаем аккаунт, переходя по ссылке, что приходит в письме на указанную вами почту. Регистрация завершена, можно приступать к работе!

4. Верификация аккаунта

Чтобы работать на бирже, пользуясь всеми ее преимуществами, не нужно проходить обязательную верификацию с подтверждением личности. Это огромное преимущество, позволяющее трейдерам оставаться анонимными.

Анонимность поддерживается также тем, что площадка не запрашивает точного имени, фамилии пользователя при регистрации, а также номера его телефона. Тем не менее, BitMex запрещает торговать на платформе гражданам Соединенных Штатов. Это связано с политикой государства и необходимостью получать лицензию CFTC. Интересно, что все криптовалютные сервисы, получившие эту лицензию, обязаны придерживаться принципов AML и KYC, а значит, их пользователи вынуждены проходить верификацию.

5. Пополнение и вывод средств

Пополнить торговый счет можно исключительно в криптовалюте Биткоин. Фиатные средства, как и другие цифровые токены биржа не принимает.

Процедура внесения депозита проста:

Переходим в раздел «Аккаунт».

Находим кнопку «Депозит», нажимаем на нее.

На открывшейся странице находим QR-код и адрес Биткоин-кошелька, на который необходимо отправить криптовалюту.

Важно! Нельзя отправлять любую другую наличность. Это приведет к потере отправленных средств.

Минимальный депозит – 0.0001 BTC.

Вывести заработанные средства также просто. Для этого выбираем раздел «Аккаунт», нажимаем на кнопку «Вывод средств» и заполняем поля: адрес получателя, сумма, комиссия. После проверки нажимаем «Отправить» и ждем поступления средств.

Запрос на вывод лучше всего отправлять до 16:00 (МСК). В этом случае заявка будет обработана в течение суток.

6. Комиссии за ввод и вывод

BitMex не взимает комиссию за ввод или вывод заработанных средств. Тем не менее, при переводе биткоинов на свой кошелек, необходимо добавить плату за транзакцию. Эта сумма поступает майнерам – нодам, ответственным за нахождение нового блока и запись вашей транзакции в него. Такую комиссию можно устанавливать самостоятельно, выставить рекомендуемую биржей или руководствоваться специальными сервисами.

Платить комиссию майнерам важно, так как это убережет вас от неподтвержденной (зависшей на неопределенное время) транзакции.

7. Торговые комиссии

За каждую заключенную сделку предусмотрена комиссия. Она значительно отличается в зависимости от типа сделки, кредитного плеча и даже контракта:

Бессрочные контракты. Bitcoin (маржа до 100x) – 0.075% для тейкеров, – 0.025% (рибейт) для мейкеров. Финансирование лонгов – 0.0215%, шортов – -0.0215% (рибейт).

Бессрочные контракты. Ethereum (маржа до 50х) – комиссия для мейкеров и тейкеров аналогичная Биткоину. Финансирование лонгов – 0.0257%, шортов – -0.0257% (рибейт).

Традиционные фьючерсы. Для мейкеров от -0.05% (рибейт), до -0.025% (рибейт, Биткоин). Для тейкеров от 0.075% (Биткоин) до 0.25% (другие токены).

Контракты вниз и вверх – без комиссии.

8. Собственный токен биржи

BitMex, в отличие от многих других криптовалютных бирж, не имеет собственного токена. Тем не менее, стоит отметить одну интересную особенность: всем известный Биткоин на бирже имеет другой тикер (вместо BTC – XBT).

9. Как торговать на бирже

Для успешной торговли следует зарегистрироваться на бирже и пополнить торговый счет, после чего открыть вкладку «Торговля» (Trade в англоязычной версии сайта). Торговый терминал стандартный, используются графики TradingView, все элементы настраиваемые, их можно перемещать или удалять по желанию.

Интерфейс, меню, возможности

При переходе во вкладку «Торговля» можно заметить:

Окно размещения ордера. Находится в левой части страницы. Здесь можно выбрать тип сделки, количество валюты, установить цену, определиться с видом ордера (short или long). Ниже, по желанию, настроить кредитное плечо, а под ним – посмотреть информацию по сделке.

Перечень поддерживаемых криптовалют (периодически меняется, несменными остаются Bitcoin и Ethereum). Находится вверху, под основными вкладками/разделами.

Книга ордеров, последние сделки других пользователей по выбранной торговой паре.

График движения цены.

График глубины рынка.

Подробный баланс личного кошелька.

Открытые и закрытые позиции.

Также здесь размещается Trollbox – чат для общения с другими трейдерами.

Как уже было упомянуто, внешний вид настраивается. Можно, например, увеличить площадь графика цены, убрать некоторые элементы, поменять их местами. При этом левая часть торгового интерфейса не подлежит изменению.

Можно настраивать и сам график, меняя японские свечи на бары, зону, линию и т. д., добавляя необходимые для технического анализа индикаторы, сдвигая интервал в нужную сторону, применяя сравнение нескольких инструментов на одном графике.

Постановка ордеров

Чтобы открыть ордер, необходимо следовать инструкции:

Выбираем криптовалюту. Помним, что Биткоин и Эфириум торгуются к доллару, другие цифровые монеты – к Биткоину.

В левой части страницы в первую очередь выбираем тип ордера.

После выбора ордера, заполняются графы с количеством криптовалюты на покупку/продажу, ценой (кроме открытия рыночных ордеров).

Также можно использовать дополнительные возможности, например, выбирать функцию «Скрытый ордер».

Нажимаем «Покупка» или «Продажа» и ждем исполнения.

При этом очень важно правильно выбрать тип сделки. БитМекс предлагает такие виды ордеров:

Рыночный. Цена покупки/продажи выставляется автоматически и соответствует текущей рыночной цене.

Лимитный. Стоимость определяется трейдером, она лучше рыночной, но ордер исполняется лишь в случае достижения этой цены. Применяется, когда расчет трейдера указывает на возможный рост или падение стоимости актива.

Рыночный стоп. Отложенный ордер, что активируется по достижению стоп-цены, превращаясь в рыночный.

Лимитный стоп. Сделка, что откроется по достижению лимитной стоп-цены, когда котировка коснется цену триггера.

Скользящий стоп. Ордер, который срабатывает при отскоке цены, установленном заранее. Например, при покупке BTC по цене 10 000$ и выставлении скользящего стопа со значением -100$, ордер закроется, даже если Биткоин значительно вырастет, но потом откатится на 100$ (рост до 12 300$, откат до 12 200$ и ставка срабатывает, сделка закрывается).

Рыночный с фиксацией прибыли. Отложенный ордер, что закрывается при достижении определенной, заданной трейдером прибыли.

Лимитный с фиксацией прибыли. Инициирование лимитного ордера после срабатывания цены триггера.

Дополнительно, представлены функции:

скрытый ордер – позволяет открывать сделку без отображения в биржевом стакане;

пассивный ордер – задержка при открытии рыночного ордера;

уменьшение – позволяет уменьшить размер позиции.

Также напомним, что торговать на бирже можно в длинную и короткую позицию (long и short), открывая сделку на покупку, в случае прогнозируемого роста, или продажу, в случае прогнозируемого падения стоимости криптовалюты.

10. Маржинальная торговля

Торговый терминал BitMex предоставляет возможность торговать различными способами: используя только собственные Биткоины, на демо-счете или с помощью маржи (залога). Опытные трейдеры чаще всего выбирают именно третий способ, увеличивая свою прибыль в несколько раз.

Как это работает? Максимальная маржа (leverage, или кредитное плечо) на Битмекс для криптовалюты Биткоин – 100x, что является довольно редким значением для бирж, и доступно на ограниченном числе площадок – к примеру, на Deribit.

Это значит, что даже если криптоэнтузиаст имеет всего 1 BTC, он может распоряжаться 20, 50 или даже 100 BTC, предварительно «одолжив» их с помощью биржи. Подробнее: Маржинальная торговля криптовалютой и ТОП-8 бирж.

Маржа на BitMex двух видов: кросс и изолированная. Изолированная позволяет выбрать сумму, которой мы будем рисковать в случае, если открытый ордер с кредитным плечом начнет приносить убытки. По достижении порога (указанной суммы), происходит ликвидация – автоматическое закрытие ордера.

Кросс-маржа обозначает, что сумма неограниченная, все наши деньги будут использоваться для сохранения позиции. Профессионалы не советуют новичкам использовать кросс, так как в этом случае, можно потерять 100% средств.

11. Сервисы биржи

Для пользователей, что желают вникнуть в процесс торговли, опробовать любую стратегию и научиться заключать прибыльные сделки, существует тестовая платформа – Testnet, где можно открыть демо-счет. При этом стоит знать, что регистрироваться на платформе необходимо отдельно, так как она отделена от основной биржи. Ссылка на сервис – https://testnet.bitmex.com/.

Также есть API, позволяющее торговать с помощью сторонних программ и ботов, получая пассивный доход, не требующий постоянного участия трейдера. Среди известных сторонних программ можно отметить Bitmex Helper. Это браузерное расширение, используемое для скальпинга. Еще один способ пассивно заработать – автоследование. Это автоматическое копирование сделок других участников торгов, успешных трейдеров. Осуществляется также через API.

Рассчитать прибыль поможет встроенный калькулятор. Найти его можно на главной странице (раздел «Торговля»). В левой части экрана, рядом с блоком для открытия ордера есть специальный значок.

12. Безопасность

Для безопасности, команда разработчиков внедрила на бирже двухфакторную аутентификацию, которую можно подключить, нажав на собственный логин (в правом верхнем углу). Далее выбираем пункт «Аккаунт и безопасность».

Включить двухфакторную защиту можно выбрав бесплатное приложение Google Authenticator или платные, но более надежные ключи от Yubikey.

Кроме 2FA в разделе безопасности можно:

сменить пароль;

закрепить IP-адрес (войти в личный кабинет с другого IP будет невозможно);

установить ключ PGP (для шифрования сообщений);

включить «продолжительность безопасной сессии» (автоматическое завершение сессии через 10 минут после закрытия браузера).

За всю историю работы, криптобиржа никогда не была взломана. Одной из причин этого, кроме хорошей защиты от DDoS-атак, является отсутствие горячих хранилищ. Все средства хранятся на хол��дных кошельках, поэтому, даже в случае взлома сайта, получить доступ к криптовалюте невозможно.

Также стоит отметить, что BitMex использует мощную систему безопасности Amazon Web Services, она частично (инструментарий торгового терминала, база данных) написана на языке программирования kdb+, что используется крупными банками.

DecentralGames – Why crypto gambling has failed to take off…yet

The original Bitcoin 0.1.0 repository even included a framework to create a digital poker game, yet this never came to fruition. There’s a theory that this gambling app was meant to provide utility to the bitcoin currency and bootstrap its value when it had no initial use.

A clear use case

Providing sudo-anonymous and borderless peer to peer exchange of value coupled with a decentralized virtual machine, Ethereum seemed perfectly poised to usher in a new era of online gambling – one where open source game logic ensured players of the fairness of games.

In 2017, 167 casino & gambling ICOs raised a collective $640 million, using smart contracts as a pitch for transparency of game logic, self custody, low fees, and frictionless gameplay. And yet, today gambling Dapp usage is miniscule, even overshadowed in volume by collective trading cards and video game digital items. So – what happened?

What happened

The problems that prevented on-chain casino platforms from gaining mass adoption compared to their centralized counterparts revolve around poor end user experience. Signatures in annoying Metamask popups for each play, Ethereum mainchain wait times of up to 15-20 seconds, and pricey gas costs for every in-game transaction are the trifecta that plagues Dapp UX. Centralized sites still win out when it comes to crypto gambling because they deliver a much more seamless in game experience. Users are able to play games with instant transactions while still benefiting from crypto as a fiat alternative to onboard funds.

Decentral Games

As a legally compliant casino operator, Decentral Games solves these UX problems while maintaining decentralization of game logic and user funds. With this novel approach around simplifying transactions for the user, Decentral Games delivers a product that mimics the UX of a centralized platform while maintaining self custody and on-chain logic of a decentralized application.

A new frontier

Despite their innovation in the open source game logic and funds realm, most gambling Dapp clients feature the same dull two-dimensional web interface seen in this screenshot from Edgeless:
