'Tobes and the Quaganymphs' - inspired by the painting 'Hylas and the Nymphs' by John William Waterhouse. It was a lot of fun, translating the pre-raphaelitic painting into the trollhunter-universe - I might do something like this again...
Well now that it’s November and everyone’s in a Christmas mood
Here’s Jim and Claire as mermaids because I find the grinch relatable TM (it was a mermay drawing I never finished and decided to randomly pick back up 6 months later)
how the fuck did anyone responsible for this show look at these designs and think “we'd better sabotage this with constant fart jokes and some mpreg". i have never seen a series so palpably at war with itself and the confines of what executives deem to be "for kids"
I snagged a spot with @iybms commissions for Palestine/Gaza, sent her all the Dark Excalibur references, and got this absolutely gorgeous art in return. Her art is just freaking stunning, and helps support relief efforts.
He's our wingman, our Go Go Sushi champion, the ultimate pacifist and the best hugger. He had a dark past, but he managed to get the better of it, and become one of the most amazing, awesomesauce trolls I know.
I really don't like the fact that Aya just forgets about her promise to save Thronos' planet, and as if that's not enough, she also dumps him at the end of episode seven and doesn't even think about trying to save him. Now I understand why in the film she so easily suggested the decision to leave planet Earth and try to evacuate its entire population (which, with all the desire, is impossible in such a short time).
