As much as I like Hiding Out, something something get in to later, there are little things that are unsettling.

Jon Cryer did this not long after Pretty in Pink so he’s 21-22. He’s almost too good as a guy who’s nearly 30. Except for those Baby hands, not like Troompa Loompa’s Baby Hands, but young because he’s still a Baby hands. Then again he looked like a Baby for the entire 20th century.

The mix of Babies, Real Babies, and two real teenage actors with love interests 5ish to could be twice his age years older reminds us of everything still on the wrong side of Hollywood in Hiding Out. 

But later. There’s a sin count that’ll put it one of the levels of Hell for these 80s back to high school white male fantasy movies while it gets its argument together. It still has to be chastised. 

Reading and puttering and watching kittens and doing laundry yesterday. More laundry to be done today. Feeling a bit better on the anemia cycle but that could change any moment.
