If you don’t mind could you do Shalnark,Feitan,Phinks, and Illumi with a s/o who asks to paint his nails? Just like a head canon of if they’d allow it and what colour n stuff

- you and phinks were absentmindedly watching the t.v., when a nail polish commercial came on and immediately struck you with a certain idea. you smiled to yourself, and called out your bf’’s name, "hey phinkkkksss," you sang out, which caught his attention. "yeah?" he answered.

- "can I paint your nails?"

- he makes a grimace when you first ask him this, and by the looks of his face... he's ready to tell you a hard no. it's going to take a bunch of 'pretty pleases' and other ways of convincing for him to give in.

- but once he's thought about it, phinks will finally let you paint his nails.

- you tell him you're only gonna put clear polish on him, just so its not too ‘showy’. then again, phinks’ hands and nails are... a little roughed up so to say, which prompts you to think: why not just give him a whole manicure!

- once you start, phinks never realized he’d feel this relaxed by this process. he’s just sitting down watching you intently cut his nails, filing them down, shaping up his cuticles, while also thinking to himself, “is this why people love getting their nails down??”.

- plus he just lovesss all this attentive care you’re giving him!

- right as you were about to paint his pointer finger with the clear polish, he immediately stops you. “i changed my mind,” he says abruptly , “go paint ‘em however you want,” phinks then smiles. and nooo he totallllly didn’t say that to make the process longer noooo.

- but you smile at his request, and follow along with a green polish. phinks notices this and smiles, appreciating how you chose his favorite color to paint his nails :)

- “finished already?” phinks asks once he sees you start to dry them off. “Nope!” you say, and then immediately take his hand to plant a kiss on them, “but now i am.”

- he chuckles, and gives you a quick kiss on the cheek, while then eyeing the work you did. this whole manicure thing really wasn’t as bad as phinks thought. in the future, there might be a chance where phinks might suggest for you to do his nails again <3

✧.* feitan

- believe it or not, feitan actually enjoys watching you paint your nails. he finds the whole process of it so satisfying whenever you do.

- the precision of each individual stroke, along with the gratification he gets whenever you perfectly paint your nails is something he'll never get tired of (except when you mess up...)

- but one day after you were finished painting your nails and waiting for it to dry (of course he was there next to you), you brain lit up with a little idea.

- "how 'bout i paint your nails for a change fei?" you asked him, to which he just looked at you stoically.

- now feitan didn't give an immediate response right away... he just had this blank look to him, a look that would be almost impossible to decipher.

-"fine," feitan decides, which makes you happy and surprised to see. You search through the colors of your little bag filled with nail polishes, but immediately stop once feitan tersely says, "black" (no surprise tbh).

- so as you find the black sitting at the bottom of the bag, he puts his hands out toward you and you get the nail polish wand ready. the thing about feitan is that his hands aren't shaky or anything so its really easy to paint!

- as you precisely cover each nail, feitan literally finds everything SOO relaxing likeeee

- watching you do your nails is one thing but being the person getting their nails painted is another!! he loves the pampering feeling you're giving him, and though his usual bare expression says otherwise, he's actually thoroughly enjoying himself!

- once you're done and they’ve dried, feitan intently looks at all of them. now you might be nervous about what your boyfriend might say, but no no no he's looking at his nails like that because he LOVES it!!

- it's really adding to his look he thinks, and under his mask feitan has this cute smile on his face.

- he then pulls down his mask to give you a small kiss to your temple :) and as he notices that you haven't painted your nails yet, he's asking if he could paint yours black so that you guys can match.

✧.* shalnark

- definitely the most lenient of the four to allow you to paint their nails!

- So the minute shalnark jokingly asks, “what if you paint my nails someday,” you immediately take it as an opportunity to do it!! when you ask him what colors he wants, he just leaves it all to you so that you can surprise him (”pick whatever color you want, _____.”).

- now obviously you’re gonna take advantage of that opportunity... which leads you wanting to do the most extravagant nail design ever-

- each finger is gonna be some different color and different design, whether it be polka dots or stripes or glitter or gems... shal literally does not KNOW what he’s got into.

- and he even realizes this the minute you take out EVERRYY single color and little design accessory you’re gonna be using on him... for sure you know that your inner nail artist is come out so shal better come thru with a tip and everything LOL

- now as you start painting his nails, the colors you’re using are... questionable to say the least, and shalnark can’t help but make a jovial grimace when he see’s them.

- “that’s an— interesting design choice you’re going for, _____!” your boyfriend says oh-so cheerfully when he see’s how you’re doing his middle finger .

- “hm? i don’t see a problem with them?” you joked back giggling, as if you weren’t trying to recreate a portrait of shalnark literally onto his nail. spoiler alert: it looks like a giant glob.

- (listen, your intention is to have fun, not to make them look pretty!)

- so once you’re on your very last nail to paint, and shalnark has experienced every stage of grief after seeing how you did them, the minute you place those last gem stones onto his left-hand pinky is when you finally announce that you’re done!

- and the minute you give him that excited (and giggly) smile, he gazes over at your creation and you two just can’t help but to laugh.

- now shalnark hopes that chrollo doesn’t call a troupe meeting anytime soon, because its practically be impossible for him to remove them off from the amount of top coat you put on them. and noticing that your nails aren’t painted, nows your turn to experience the saaame treatment.

✧.* illumi

- the idea of you painting them actually came from a dream, in which you were decorating his nails with a shiny black paint on them. though you really weren’t sure how he was going to react, you decided to give it a try and ask illumi.

- now at first, your lover just stares at you with no trace of emotion found in his eyes. in his mind he was confused. he didn’t really see the purpose of painting them or anything. they were only a weapon, nothing more nothing less.

- but you explained to him that painting his nails was honestly just for fun, something you guys could try together!

- and so illumi takes this information with ease and allows you to paint his assassin nails (even though he still didn’t really get the hype with them...)

-when you start painting his longgg nails, he’s kinda just STARING at you the whole time... it’s a little pressuring because illumi’s gaze can be a little intense sometimes.

- everytime you make a teeny mistake, he might point it out 😭 saying stuff like “you smudged it” or “there’s a spot you missed”. and this isn’t him trying to be rude or anything, illumi’s just trying to help in his eyes.

- even though things feel quiet, deep down illumi actually really likes this whole process. illumi never really got any kind of attention growing up, so seeing you putting this much effort in something as little as painting his nails, it really makes him feel appreciated.

- so yes, he’s very much enjoying the process now :) even closing his eyes in relaxation as you continue down the line of nails. once you tap your hand, signaling that you’re finished, he opens his eyes again.

- “done already,” he asks, and as you nod, deep deep down Illumi feels a little disappointed (he was really enjoying himself after all)!

- the minute he looks down, he takes his new painted nail’s in. once again... cue that blank stare. does he like them?? does he hate them?? does he—

- “they look nice,” illumi finally says, making you let out a quiet sigh in relief because you honestly can never know with him...

- even though your boyfriend’s lack of words might suggest that he didn’t think much of them, deep down, Illumi was more than impressed! he really thought they looked nice :)) that, and every time he see’s them, illumi will just be reminded of you <3

Phinks

Loves everything about them, the way they look, the way they feel, they way they rube against him when he’s fucking you or when your just sitting next to him and the brush up against him slightly

He especially love when you wake up after him come down stairs and do a big stretch, they way he gets to watch them spread out and go back in

When your riding him and you have your hands on his chest and he randomly feels them against brush against his legs it’s an instant orgasm for him

If you get cold or scared and your feathers puff up a bit he just looks at you in aww because of how cute you are, it also makes you a target because he’ll always be trying to scare you

Shalnark

Shalnark definitely sticks you with you with one of his needles so he can watch you fly around and he also uses his needles for more devious activities when your not in the mood but he is

He helps you preen whenever you need it, he gets all those tricky feathers in the back of your wings that you can’t quite reach

If you ever try and leave him he would probably clip your wings to prove a point that you’ll never be able to leave him

Feitan (this one is longer because I like Feitan the most ;-;)

Hes a sadist through and through so he definitely ties you down and plucks feathers out just so he can watch you jump and scream every time

He clips your wings as soon as he has you in his grasp, and if he has mercy and doesn’t your never aloud outside and they get no exercise whatsoever

If you need help preening he’s gonna pin you down and yank the old feathers out really aggressively

He loves tying your wings to the wall so he can do whatever he wants to you and you cant do anything

If he’s fucking you and you move to much he’s gonna pin them to the bed really roughly

As a punishment if you do anything he doesn’t like he’ll make you eat bird seed

If you ever try and leave him he’ll break both your wings to send a message, but let’s be honest you would be to scared

Nina the Killer Headcanons

TW: Abuse, Manipulation, Death, Toxic Relationships, Meltdowns/Breakdowns, Murder, Implied Ableism

Nina is polyamorous, biromantic asexual, transfem nonbinary, and goes by they/she/it/neon.

She is currently in a polyamorous relationship with Jane and Mary and loves both of them with all her heart.

She had severe mommy issues, but had a great relationship with her brother and dad. Her dad died while in the military in a plane accident when she was 12.

She was in a friend group with Jeff, Jane, Jesse, Mary, Liu, Clockwork, Lyra, and Toby pre-incident. Now she's still close friends with Jane, Jesse, Mary, and Liu, and now that she's reunited with Toby, they are attached at the hip. Jeff and her are currently at odds with each other, and she hasn’t reunited with Clockwork or Lyra yet.

Jeff was able to manipulate her so easily because at the time, she was already at her limit with her mother, as well as accidentally isolating herself due to so many of her friends going missing/dying (namely Clockwork, Toby, and Lyra). Nina is still upset at Jeff, but wrongly blames herself for getting manipulated.

She was a band kid, and was in the wind ensemble. She also did color guard for a few years.

She is an absolute scene kid.

Her, Toby, and BEN are very close friends and hang out a lot, and see each other practically as siblings. She hates to admit it, but BEN severely reminds her of Chris. BEN knows and tries to ignore it. Still hurts though, especially since BEN is scared the only reason Nina hangs out with him is because she misses her brother.

Nina grew up in a Mexican household and fluently spoke both Spanish and English. She ended up teaching Jane and Jeff some Spanish as well, and is currently trying to teach Toby.

Their mother was named Michelle, and her dad was named Tomas.

She and Clockwork dated in highschool. They had a very healthy relationship but they broke up from Natalie being too scared of commitment and the idea of their relationship being long term. They broke up on good terms, though Nina still had some feelings on her end after the break up.

They are stubborn as hell, and hate accepting help from others, even if it's for something small. This is due to growing up being told to figure out everything on her own and being unconsciously taught to never ask or accept help because she was considered "useless" if she couldn't figure out how to take care of herself.

She listens to a lot of different artists, but one of her favorites is Melanie Martinez. Her favorite song is EVIL. Nina also listens to Penelope Scott, Insane Clown Posse, and 6arelyhuman religiously.

They have generalized anxiety despite being an extrovert, as well as consistent panic attacks caused by stress. She is also prone to sensory meltdowns that Mary often needs to calm her down from.

She was a true crime listener growing up, and would often hyperfixate on it a lot. Nowadays though, she can’t get herself to listen to it anymore due to her sometimes running into her name on there and immediately having to shut it off.

Clockwork and her never reunited, so as far as Nina knows she’s dead.

Her comfort food is either a blue raspberry gas station slushie or sour gummy worms.

Her dad and her shared a birthday, and when she was young, he would often take them out to a cheap gas station and buy them a bunch of snacks and candy, and they would drive around town together until midnight.

She trolls people on the internet sometimes, and loves messing with random people and sometimes will get BEN to hack social media accounts of people she hates.

They have AuDHD. Michelle, her mother, couldn't afford to keep her in therapy for any longer a couple months after her dad’s death, so she never got properly diagnosed. This lead to many teachers in Nina's life not having a lot of faith in her and not trusting her when it came to her symptoms.

Disclaimer:

This is a fun bonus content from the 1999 anime that I decided to translate because I want others to enjoy it too (´꒳`)♡ Do note that some of the characters might act in an unusual comedic manner.

Summary:

Shalnark, Phinks and Feitan are helping an old lady to get to her destination. This is right before they meet the rest of the troupe in the hotel. (The origin of the Mooncake Trio.)

[Feitan] Finally we got off. Train too crowded. I hate.

[Phinks] What’s the hotel called again?

[Shalnark] It’s Beitacle Hotel. I think it’s that way.

[Old lady] Excuse me. Which way is the Ivone mansion??

[Shalnark] Huh? Are you talking to me?

[Phinks] Sorry, Granny. But we’re not from around here. You should ask someone else.

[Feitan] Get out of here or I make you suffer.

[Shalnark] Hey, don’t threaten her. She's just an old lady, you know.Grandma, we apologize, but we really don’t know.

[Old lady] It's right across from the Beitacle hotel. Didn’t you just point that way?

[Shalnark] Ah! Haha.

[Feitan] So, why Shal carrying granny on his back?

[Old lady]. I’m sorry for the trouble.

[Shalnark] It would take more time if we walk together.

[Feitan] Better if she manipulated with black voice.

[Shalnark] I can’t do that!

[Phinks] Geez. Shal can kill someone without batting an eye, yet he’s oddly generous.

[Feitan] You one to talk with the bags in your hands. Who you fooling?

[Phinks] I couldn't just leave Shal to do all the work. But, I didn't think I'd actually carry these.

[Feitan] If you no want, just say so.

[Phinks] If I did, would it change anything?

[Feitan] Better if I cut granny’s head off. No need manipulation.

[Phinks] Cut it out! Why are you always so quick to kill people?

[Feitan] Destroy nuisances, destroy obstacles. No other way.

[Shalnark] Haha~ Don’t say that. Helping out someone once in a while isn't a bad thing. The occasional philanthropic operations are also a part of the Troupe, right?

[Phinks] Well, we have to balance a little bit of our bad reputation with good deeds.

[Feitan] Can our bad reputation... cancel out with just this?

[Phinks] Hahaha! Makes sense!

[Feitan] Why you laughing? I not understand.

[Shalnark] I see. So you’re going to meet your grandson.

[Old lady]. It’s been 5 years so I'm very excited.

[Feitan] You becoming soft. Shal, you just like an ordinary guy.

[Shalnark] I'll take that as a compliment.

[Old lady]. No, no. It’s not only about appearance. Your friends are also fine young men. That one over there even with his unfriendly look, he’s quite a nice person too.

[Phinks] Good for you. You got a compliment.

[Feitan] It not for me. It Phinks.

[Phinks] What are you saying? I’m not even close to looking unfriendly.

[Feitan] Not even close? but you the worst there is.

[Phinks] What does that mean?

[Shalnark] Come on. No quarrel between members of the troupe.

[Feitan] Phinks is the one out of control. I am calm.

[Phinks] Tch. This guy.

[Old lady]. Now, now. The young man with the narrow eyes is just acting tough. You are good friends with the two, right? Thank you.

[Feitan] If you want to live and meet your grandson, w-watch what you say.

[Shalnark] Oh~? Are you...embarassed?

[Phinks] It's not every day he’s praised.

[Feitan] Get moving.

[Shalnark] Alright. Here we are.

[Phinks] Here you go, Granny. Be careful with your belongings.

[Old lady]. Thank you very much. You guys really helped me. So sorry for the trouble.The least I could do is to give you these.

[Shalnark] No. There’s no need.

[Old lady]. It’s fine. Listen to the elderly.

[Phinks] Then, I’ll gladly take one.

[Old lady] Here, you too.

[Feitan] Me? I no do anything!

[Old lady] It’s alright. Just take it.

[Feitan] Fine.

[Shalnark] Well, we’ll get going!

[Old lady] Thank you very much, you youngins.

[Phinks] TIme to go. See you, Granny. So, what did she give us?

[Shalnark] This is some kind of sweets, right? Isn’t this what they call mooncakes?

[Feitan] She gave the troupe mooncakes as thank you. What a joke

[Phinks] It’s good enough, isn’t it? For an old lady, it's the best she could do.

[Shalnark] Let’s try one out.

[Phinks] *Munch* It's sweet! No good. It’s too sweet for me.

[Shalnark] Hmm. Sweet foods are not my thing either. Let’s just give them to Machi or Shizuku later.

[Phinks] Ah. Right.

[Feitan] *Gulp* It too sweet but...

[Shalnark] Hm?

[Feitan] ...it not bad.

TL Notes & Commentary:

The old lady actually called Phinks いかちい / 厳つい "rugged/stern look." Used to refer to someone with a scary face and seems unapproachable. And yes, Phinks was oblivious to the fact that he does look rather unfriendly.

It was really hard to purposely mess up Fei's grammar yet also make it sound adorable in a way, so I hope it turned out okay!

I imagine them in a few scenarios, especially exchanging their experiences from their own worlds or from their hobbies. Also I exchanged my thoughts with @xxlea-nardoxx (best inspiration-giver I've ever write to 💜)

Asha would learn new recipes from Mike and in exchange teach him new things to cook. Don would ask her if she would pick him up and she absolutely do that for this boy.

Coen would love to spar with the boys or have finally the opportunity to play rough. Raphie and Coen would get good buddies. He would be fascinated with the games the AU boys play and love to watch them.

Trouble Trio Hcs --

· This includes Toby, Nina, and BEN

· Basically best friends-

· Toby and Nina met first and were in highschool together, and were both best friends with Natalie, and ended up reuniting when Nina ran away from Jeff and ended up finding Toby at a store he was working at (I hc Toby stopped killing and was a runaway proxy and started working at a grocery store to get some money)

· BEN and Nina met through the mansion (Ill explain that another time-) and Nina started saw a lot of Chris in him especially since he kinda looked like him.

· Nina introduced BEN to Toby later on, and the three kinda became best friends

· All of them have anger issues, though BEN's aren't as bad as Nina and Toby's

· Nina and Toby are both biromantic asexual and after they both came out, Nina bought them pins.

· While Toby doesn't kill, he does help the two get in trouble a lot through pranks as well as just helping them light sh*t on fire-

· Toby and Nina constantly have inside jokes from their childhoods, and BEN often ends up just standing there like "...You know what, I'm not gonna ask-"

· All of them collectively paint their nails black

· Whenever they go out, BEN will cling to one of their sleeves to make sure he won't accidentally wander off or anything and lose them

· Toby and Nina are about 18-19 and BEN is 11

· They are all like siblings

· They have sleepovers every Friday, and they all stay at Toby's apartment

· They all have ADHD or ADD

· When they all stand together, Nina looks really tall, but in reality, she's 5'2" and usually wears very high platform boots (her highest ones are 4 inches). Toby is 5'0", and BEN is actually 4'5" but also wears platforms so that he's taller than Sally (4'7")

· Overprotective little sh*ts-

· Nina and Toby will often ramble about their partners (Nina about Jane/Liu, and Toby about Clockwork) and BEN's aroace a** is just there on their phone texting Lulu or Jack asking them to get him out of there

· Nina and Toby will baby tf out of BEN despite him existing way longer than they have. He doesn't care tho and just lets them as long as they don't get annoying
