Moody March day one (let's see how far I get).|| Troubled || @jilymicrofics || 149 words Lost Count on ao3 or below the cut
Four walls of grey stone.
A small stone.
No wand.
A bed of straw.
Three openings that let light in, enough to separate the days from nights.
Sixteen rows with four marks crossed by a fifth each and three marks makes eighty three days since she was put here.
Eighty three days since her capture.
Eighty three days since she’s seen anyone other than the grim wizard who levitates food and water into her cell.
Eighty three days since she last washed.
She smells bad. So bad it makes her sick to her stomach.
She has no idea what goes on outside these walls, other than that her husband must be looking for her.
She doesn’t doubt it, he will come for her. He will find her, if it’s the last thing he does; she knows this.
She’s troubled by another number.
She’s more than a hundred days late.

How I linger to admire, admire, admire the things of this world that are kind, and maybe also troubled— roses in the wind, the sea geese on the steep waves, a love to which there is no reply?"

Pondering under the cut (and not in a good way.)
There is something that's been bothering me for a while about the main Ace Attorney series. I'm not sure whether to post about it here on my blog since I'm trying to keep it a media-positive space, with seriousness usually reserved for real life topics.
What gets me is I've already ranted about this subject to others on Discord, but now my thoughts about it have resurfaced. Apparently getting things off my chest once wasn't enough?
On one hand, I don't want to be someone who nitpicks the media I view and takes the joy out of it for myself and others.
On the other hand, I can't seem to get rid of these negative ideas.
I wonder what I should do.

The finding by sexologists in the 1950s and 1960s that women's sexual intimacy with women occurred so frequently as to be considered a 'normal' expression of desire was widely ignored by doctors and psychologists who only met professionally with women troubled by their feelings – not those who were living happily in loving or sexual relationships with other women.
"Normal Women: 900 Years of Making History" - Philippa Gregory
