I saw the shittiest fucking AI upscaled grain-reduced pixelated bullshit that turned the original film into an amateur youtube video. I waited almost 20 fucking years to see Abyss on blu ray and they gave us THAT. Fuck studios and filmmakers who destroy their art. Piracy isn’t theft, it’s literally art preservation now.
