*Months ago when I started my contract at this firm*
Me: Uh, hi, I'm Emily...I like British accents, pizza, and pretending all the stuff people say about Virgos doesn't hurt my feelings. In my spare time, I host a podcast. Kay thanks, the next person can introduce themselves.
*Last week*
My colleague: Emily, we need someone to do voice-over for our training courses and I thought of you! What's the name of your podcast, again?
Me: It's called "I Ship It", it's on everything, just google it.
*a few days later*
An email arrives in my inbox:
Emily, loving your podcast! If you wouldn't mind lending us your voice and talent for our course, we'd be so grateful! I've attached the script for you to look at. In the meantime, I'm about halfway through episode 147 and really enjoying the style and content!
Me: Oh, how nice. Which one is episode 147?
Ah yes. The one where @grimeysociety and I talk about smutty fic, kinktober, penis euphemisms, and where I say the words "cumdumpster" no less than three times.
Me: *checks the signature of the person who sent me that email*
Nbd ya'll. Just a senior managing partner of my firm. This is fine.

Round 1 of 8, Group 3 of 8
Tumblr media Tumblr media
propaganda and summaries are under the cut (May include spoilers)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: 5.16 The Body
tw Death of a major character, grief, dealing with the death of a parent
Buffy, Dawn, and their friends deal with the aftermath of Joyce's death.
The purposeful removal of music for the whole episode, the grief portrayed, the portrayals of people with varying amounts of interaction with death. It hits so hard.
This episode killed me. I have never watched anything that has fully emcompassed the feeling of loss and what it's like to experience death close to you than The Body. It is an absolute gut punch in the best way. I actually had to take a week off of watching Buffy to recover because I was so destroyed. 12/10 I don't think I will ever be able to watch this episode of TV ever again
One of the greatest depictions of grief and bereavement of all time. Both formally inventive and unique in its cinematography, sound design, editing etc. while also being an incredible personally affecting emotional experience. There’s another buffy episode that probably deserves the title more, but I did have to give this one some recognition. For a whacky silly show about vampires, this episode is maybe the realest portrayal of death and grief I’ve ever seen. It’s not just a sad episode that makes audiences cry - I mean it is that - but it’s also this incredible examination of what it’s like to lose someone, and how the world shifts on its axis when that happens. The lack of any non diegetic music is an amazing touch to give this episode a sense of distance from all others. It’s real in a way that’s hard to watch but also unforgettable. Certain scenes and lines will always stay with me and will forever shape my feelings on life and loss.
True Life: 11.12 I'm a Staten Island Girl
Follow three Staten Island girls who feel they have to get off the Island before they can achieve their dreams. Lauren and Danielle return to share what it was like to be on TV, and what they loved and hated about their show.

Young Muslimas, stay away from the haram stuff. Guard yourself vigilantly from falling into the degenerate modern western secular feminist lifestyle.
You know, the "I'm a strong independent woman who don't need no man," "my body my choice," "I can do whatever I want," "no man can tell me what to do" mentality of many modern women.
The one where you live life away from the protection of your Muslim parents, "free" yourself from male protection calling it "controlling" and "toxic," make yourself a new family consisting of your "tribe" of like-minded degenerate friends, turn up at the club, partying, dancing, drinking, getting high, sleeping around, then getting yourself tested for STDs or getting an abortion, maybe prostitute yourself online with lingerie modeling or something like OnlyFans, occasionally facing various kinds of "sexual assault" and constant harrassment along the way from degenerate males in those circles.
If you follow this wretched, self-destructive path, when you're finally spit out on the other side, you'll be broken.
Traumatized.
Scarred.
There will be absolutely no empowerment anywhere to be found.
You can never emerge unscathed from such a lifestyle. Allah has forbidden all these paths for a reason.
By the time you wake up and realize all this, you'll look back and recognize belatedly that you've wasted your late teenage years, your twenties, and most of your thirties.
Now, broken and alone, you want to finally settle down and get married to banish the crippling loneliness and the debilitating depression and mental health issues.
But you bring with you a lifetime of mistakes, regrets, baggage, self-inflicted abuse and trauma for a good man to fix.
When it becomes hard to find such a man willing to deal with all this, you'll turn around in an impressive evasion of accountability, and accuse men of "not stepping up" and of being "shallow," "fragile," or "toxic masculine" if they care about purity, chastity, or youth in a potential wife.
Now everything is men's fault.
If I could advise my fellow young sisters in Islam with anything, it would be this: follow Islam wholeheartedly and sincerely, burrow into the safety and protection of your parents and male kin, focus on preparing yourself to be a pious traditional wife and mother, and get married early to a pious, traditional Muslim man.
Don't even allow your gaze to flit over to the "modern empowered feminist" lifestyle. See it for the lie that it is. Don't even look in that direction.
"And do not extend your eyes towards what We have given some classes of them to enjoy—the splendor of the Earlier Life—that We may test them thereby, for your Lord’s provision is better and more lasting." (Surat Taha, 131)

If you are a prince and the order of the monarch is known what is the problem. That's right you did not think of it until now. When your the favorite cousin that makes your mom the favorite aunt or grandmother of a prince but has always been the king.bThat is just a play of words or fact. Why in the flying duck would you disrespect another king from an empire who created the correct phrase in title. Now do you see your not a noble one that is why you don't understand you would only have to consult when who would ask " Are your ready" to fully understand. To be embarrassed or ashamed that your in the middle or last. You have to look past that. This coming from A alpha and omega whose learning the power of contemplating outside the box to only act inside the box to think of twisted and backwards like east=south meaning in the hills is back, Right and left will be u Air-ri. Common just not relating unless you can prove this theory to be true fact. It's on the flag "IT" btw ri time to go to Jamba 0. I'm just an hybrid of different mind controlling tools from being taught in different and multiple dimensions of education. Will that make me higher or just like you a proverbial crustacean in a bucket or will you realize the power that is not like the tower if babbl cause if done correctly it has the blessing of the true creator. Just like day and night man and woman the sun and the moon. So maybe we have been taught to turn a blind eye when it is right in front/forth or back/rear of us. Use your bindi. And your heart then you can make a connection with a conscious desire for a decision. This is no diss just a dish of food for thought for those who just want beef even though it still be like pork at times green like envy or mild. Its time to change the tampon and cups of blood for something more human cause we are not karma life's cyster whose close relation to destiny will there creator is faiths destiny.
