Day 15: True Potential

Oh cmon, theres no way i wasn't going to draw this iconic scene for true potential- can you blame me? Lol

Anyway, im finally starting to put out all the art ive been doing that i was procrastinating on posting. halloweens coming up and i don't really know if i'll be able to finish all the Nintober prompts, especially since it's test week.

I could continue to draw the Ninjtober prompts into the next months? It'll be a win-win really, i post more art and i have things i can draw when the history teacher starts speaking in backround noise (seriously, if he let me draw in his class i would've been pumping out art like some kind of printer, that guys criminally boring to listen to considering the fact i enjoy learning history literally anywhere except his class)

It really sad that Wu never unlock his true potential (At least not one we’re seen on screen) His students achieved it and so did his brother but Wu hasn’t.

I have an idea on how his true potential could be shown and that is in Crystalized. It be somewhere after Wu is defeated by the Overlord. Either straight after the fight or when Wu decides to stop being a quitter. Wu would realize that his true potential is using his power to defend and protect others, thus awakening his new form.

In his true potential he rebuilds the Colossus and rename it “The Titan” (Mix of green, the grass. It remind Wu of Lloyd. The Purple from the Titan’s previous creator Garmadon and yellow gold through it’s resurrection by Wu)

Now instead of the Colossus destroying Ninjago, it fight for Ninjago. Wu would then use the Titan and his own power to distract the crystal army while he buys the ninja enough time for a counter attack, even if it means he has to die. Wu is willing to sacrifice himself to ensure Ninjago has a better future and that the Overlord get defeated.

The Titan does get destroyed either by the Overlord himself or being overwhelmed by the crystal army. Wu himself will kept fighting until the end. Or if his true potential end suddenly he will go into hiding. Hopeful that his efforts has given both Lloyd, Lord Garmandon and his students the time they need.

Or maybe for some angst sake you could kill Sensei Wu either during or straight after his true potential knowing full well that Wu would be willing to die at that moment. This would cause Lloyd some major grief to the point it would force Lloyd to embrace his oni side.
