Captain Rondel, hes an Elk, hes a Pirate, he believes that he'll find his soulmate while trveling the sea and he, actually, does!

Being the son of the captain of a very well known pirate ship, he easily takes charge as the captain dies.

Hes basically the perfect captain, he has a horrendous reputation but hes not that bad, he got a habit to steal from merch ships and sell back, he also steals the slaves as they work for free.

Oke day, he'll find a slave on a ship, and wont just let her go, she if "stolen" from the ship like the other slaves, she works all day every day, sometimes cleaning, sometimes helping in the kitchen, and being clumsy, she oftens makes mistakes, but every time she spills wine on a hand made carpet, forgets to clean a spot, or dares to talk back at one of the crew mates, Captain-cool knows he has power, and knows how to use it.

He cares not about his subordinates knowing he has interest in her, too bad she thinks its a sexual or a more abusive interest rather than romantic, she fears him, and he doesnt want that, so he has a genius idea.

And decides

To have

Dinner...with her.

The whole plot is about him being in love and she not understanding that his feelings are genuine.

The dinner is really not that bad actually, she eats, expects him to humiliate her, but that never happens, instead, he tells her stories about his first adventures in the open sea, about his wonderful life.

She is surprised, concerned, and pretty much freaked out as he talks to her as equals.

Rondel is and Elk, and being five meters tall doesnt help the girl he likes to relax in his presence.

The human girl, on the other hand, is about 1,60 meters, she has dark skin, curls, and the slave mark on her cheek.

She was raised as a slave, she doesnt really gets the concept of choosing things, and when his owner, the owner of the other slaves she learned to call family, confess his feelings, she just doesnt get it, and decided to go along with whatever he says.
