guys i know we're all focused on the quite literal things that are in the water this season. but what - and I mean, the fuck - is in the metaphorical AND literal water for Iskall and Beef in particular???? what is wrong with either of them (affectionate). both as individuals and when in contact with one another. cannot get enough of their episodes currently

These were mostly done with the premise of treating Kale's office like the hideout. I also really like how mundane, or familiar, the interactions between Chai and Kale can be in the game so I wanted to draw some stuff exploring more like that. But also, there's the ulterior motive of shipping so I included an out of context scene because I can't bother drawing the rest of it (though it seems like a huge jump in their relationship as a result. I think they're so big headed that they get stuck in a feedback loop of stroking the other's ego if an excuse comes up to do so)

#i would love advice on this if y'all have any thoughts to share because i know what my parents think and im having trouble sorting it out #i love these three friends of mine but it is really draining to be around them now because all they will talk about is church drama #(re: our old church) and rehashing it all and being Outraged about the horrors etc etc #either that or being downright condescending about protestants/non denominations and acting like it's funny to talk like that all the time #i end up being more angry or resentful or exasperated at the end of our conversations than glad and at peace like i did before #(before all THIS ish happened and the three of them were like okay this is all we're going to talk about now) #i've tried to say in gentle ways (i am simply not capable of this kind of blunt confrontation) that maybe we should not be talking #so uncharitably towards other people especially behind their backs. like. yes bad things happened. we have to acknowledge that. #but continually making jokes and jibes at a priest's expense really rubs me the wrong way especially since i KNOW that he loves us #and in many ways was trying his best in the circumstances. and are we not supposed to be loving our neighbour #and is this not downright slander to keep going on this way esp since it goes on for HOURS at a time #anyway i don't know what to DO because if i keep chatting with them/meeting up with them conversation will be 90% this thing and i Hate It #but on the other hand i feel responsibility towards them because my godson's one of them and another is a friend who is a fairly recent #convert and if i leave them to stew in their own echo chamber i doubt it'll do them good #am i supposed to keep some distance? am i supposed to keep arguing whenever one of them says something unkind or inflammatory? #am i supposed to keep speaking up so that they hear a different perspective? am i supposed to run in the other direction for my own peace o #mind? anyway i am still thinking this over and it stresses me OUT #it used to be fun and life giving to be around these people and now it is so exhausting and seriously alarming in many ways

I made a post a couple days ago about wanting a fic where Xie Lian realizes he was Wu Ming’s beloved after Book 4 but honestly after rereading the last bit of Book 4 ive realized that. Honestly i kind of wonder if a part of xie lian DID know that. Or the failure to realize it on his part was the result of his excellent Selective Thinking skills... a refusal to believe he could be loved... because uhhhhhhh............ its really something to write out a scene where xie lian puts together that wu ming was the ghost fire in the temple only to double-check the book and realize BWX outright tells Xie Lian Wu Ming became a wrath ghost specifically from witnessing his torture in the temple

haiii as a frequent con-goer my observations are: ppl tend to get posters or pins/keychains more than stickers, since sticker boards r more rare than like ita bags or drcorating ur room.

bnha hasnt rly been present in cons recently, so dont feel like you Have To BUT. if you do genuinely want to sell that stuff, it wld probs fill a niche that the people who DO want to see it will be excited for since theres probs not alot of other booths with it

depending on how far away the con is, dunmeshi will probs be rly popular since its the biggest new thing. sometimes theres a gap of if smthn big comes out too close to a con no one has time to make merch yet, but if you think you have time and want to itll probs be rly popular.

all of this is as u said based on my personal experiences and ive only been to the cons in my state, and NOT as an artist so idk if boothers have other advice or inputs but! :) i hope it helps
