A few days ago @mdpthatsme released this amazing dress and I knew I wanted it in my game. I decided it would make a great replacement for afbodyhalfjacketdress from Apartment Life, so here it is. I prefer the longer version of the dress but I also defaulted the shorter version since it's more true to the original outfit. Both versions have been enabled for everyday and formal, and flags have been removed so npc's can spawn wearing them. Swatches are above and files are compressed. This is an entire collection that is interwoven with each other. Hair is repositoried to different ages, genders, defaults, and even hidden toddler hair. It's highly recommended that the collection stay intact and that you have the Ultimate Collection or all EP/SP. Recategorizers do not work with this collection

Not all hair works with each sims' faces and not all sims' faces work with each hair. So keep in mind foreheads, cheeks and ears may poke out. Previews are available at LordCrumps.com

The collection includes add ons that may require the defaults and are flagged as "Store Edition" hair. TS4 hairs range from base game to the most recent Stuff Pack (Home Chef Hustle). More hair may be included as add ons in the future.

I wouldn't convert some hair without their outfit counterparts. Please make sure to remove conflicts. The outfits include:

Most of these hairs exist already in the realm of the community as custom hairstyles. Any of my hair previously converted (shrink, servo, santa hat, etc) should be removed; they'll be included in this collection.

TOU: Please feel free to use these as a template for your defaults and recolor the hair as you'd prefer for download purposes. I only ask that you do not reupload these original files (breaking down to packs, gender, etc) as they are intertwined and may not work without their exclusive counterparts. Please do not make these hairs as customs for reupload.

This took about... 8 months to complete. I've (re)converted all of these myself to my current expectations of my conversion content. This was play tested thoroughly over the course of that time. If there are any issues, please don't hesitate to send an ask. The file size is massive even compressed, but to be honest it's pretty decent for 500+ hair.

When I came across these beautiful aspiration based diary defaults created by @episims with @midgethetree's mods, I immediately knew I wanted to make a set that matched my game's aesthetic!

I made textures to match my preferred funky and nostalgic aesthetic, complete with a (decorative) diary lock and unique written pages!

You'll still need Midge's Re-Enabled Diary Textures mod to begin with, and Midge's Aspiration-Based Diaries mod, which can be found inside Epi's Diary Default Replacements' download folder. My download only contains the recolors I've made, so you need to download both linked mods first, or my textures will NOT show up in your game. That means you need midgethetree_aspirationdiaries and midgethetree_reenableddiarycovers.

How to Fully Overhaul The Sims 2 Bodyshop (Mods List)

Brightness

The Brightening up BodyShop mod by WesHowe on MTS will make BodyShop look like this:

There are 3 levels of brightness to choose from. I use the XB version.

Backgrounds

There are two kinds of backgrounds on BodyShop; a 3D scene and a 2D image. The 3D scene is the one you see in the pictures above, and the 2D is a flat image that appears when you press F5. There are default replacements for both of these, and you can have one of each type at the same type without problems.

2D Backgrounds

If you want to change the background that shows when you press F5, you can use one of these plain color backgrounds by @kat-simss. Here's how one of these looks:

Advent 14th gift / My Eternity skinblend

This is my very first skinblend! I blended Charlotte's Coffee skin and Digi's HappyWhenItRains skin and I used Trapping's skin color actions! :D Realistic but not so shiny, I love it so much! :D

A while ago, a sweet Anon asked me if I would ever make default replacements for the 12 paintings your artistic simmies can create and I honestly loved the idea! Creating art recolors is my fave activity ever so this was the perfect task. 💐

Anyway, the 12 replacements are all artworks by the amazing Haley Tippmann whom I adore (why only one artist? I wanted all the paintings to be similar and have the same style or ‘vibe’). But I will most definitely create more! 🌱

Was browsing T$R for older recolours of maxis meshes, and found Night & Day by Bunny (link warning: T$R), which gave me massive Buffy vibes (not too sure why other than the era and the grungy/slight gothic feel, maybe someone on the show wore something similar that I only half remember)!

So I thought to whip together a quicko texture only DR for afbodysuitplunge using three of the textures. Compatible with mesh defaults, fully compressorized!

polycount: 1508 Free Time EP is required

Flute default comes with improved drinking style! Sims will now sip their champagne, but if their mood is low, then there's an increased chance they'll gulp it down faster.

Compatible with Dickhurt's toasting fix, Pescado's toasting hack or with Simler90's toasting set mod - as long as this default loads last. But I recommend you use it along this toasting fix by @episims - and please make sure you have the updated (03.01.2024) version.

The TS2 flute BHAV has been messed up to a point where Eaxis had to remove the fluid. Otherwise flutes would spawn on the tray already filled with champagne.

Fluid morphs are broken beyond repair so Epi came up with a workaround - flute mesh contains all three fluid levels (hence the polycount).

Fluid subsets switch to different material settings after each animation ends - the result is a bit more choppy when compared to drinks with morphs (where fluid level drops during the drinking animation). But hey - still a 100% improvement from no champagne at all!

Before my diary defaults, I was in the process of creating book defaults to match my game! I wanted some to match the funky, nostalgic, and silly Maxis Match-ish style that I enjoy!

I also decided to make recolors of the FT Artig poster with these novel covers for a future build, I included those as a separate download in case anyone else is interested.

If you are using any other mod that replaces the novel cover icons in the write a novel screen, make sure ziSimChi_Default_NovelCoverIcons loads after it.

Each novel is based off of existing media: ◦ Reference - the one that started it all, is now Skilling for Simmies, inspired by the For D*mmies series (feat. a new mascot). ◦ Romance - The Rogue's Groom, inspired by the many romance novel covers starring Fabio. Animals & Animals - 50 Sheep & Sheep Recolors + Default Replacement

Hi everyone! I hope you're all doing well! I guess it's been a hot minute lol. I'm not quite ready to officially come out of hiatus yet, but I saw it was TS2's birthday so here's a little something to celebrate. :)

These were requested about a billion years ago, but I can't find the message now, so I hope they reach the requester! 😅 These are 50 animal-themed recolors for the Sheep & Sheep painting. There is also a default replacement (recolor 32 on the swatch). If you already have the DR from my Bugs & Bugs recolors, you'll need to pick one!

I don't know why the swatch is so gritty; I've been back for twenty-two seconds and Tumblr is already screwing with me lol

Animals are from this pack by Freepik over at Ye Olde Flaticon. The rest of the icons used are also by Freepik! Many thanks as always! I used Fantasy Floss, Dark Fantasy and Autumn Valley for the artwork colors, and colors from The Woods are Lovely for the frames.

As always, if you'd rather have a different DR, please let me know and I'll add it as an alternative. My response time will probably be a little lackluster; we're short-staffed at the library right now, and it's a much crazier job than I expected (not complaining! I love it).

The defaults are swatches 41, 34, 23, 12, and 07, plus the alien swatch.

The dark blue was replaced with a hazel swatch because it matches the genetics more.

I'll be honest: I mostly just wanted both some darker and some less intense colors. And a few of the existing swatches not already converted.

For the geneticized set, the top three rows (swatches 28-54) are dominant, while the bottom three (swatches 01-27) are recessive. Numbering goes from right to left, bottom to top, because I can make nothing simple I guess.

Both the custom and geneticized share files, so you can't have both at once. There's also a custom version of the alien eye in both folders.

Also, I really have no idea what counts as animation friendly, so here's a mostly unedited and slightly deranged shot of a sim emoting.

I started these a while back, and I wasn't sure if I was going to share them because idk there are so many eyes out there and these edits appeal specifically to me and my weird finally-figuring-iy-out maxis mix-ish (???) game.

But I got an ask about them that I still need to respond to sorry I just felt bad that every answer for every ask I've gotten lately is "they're a wip lol so I figured, why not?
