This upload is inspired by one of my favorite vampire tv shows, What We Do in the Shadows. (It was supposed to be my Simblreen gift this year, but I'm hella late cuz IRL suuuuuucks...blood. 😅)

The DL folder includes 4 zip files:

My WWDITS INSP CC Set, including 37 wives items.

The WWDITS INSP Vampire Residence Lot to go in your Sims 3 > Library folder (in-game it'll be in the empty lots bin in Edit Mode)

A MERGED CC file of allllll the other CC I used on the lot (brace yourselves 💀) to go in your Sims 3 > Mods > Packages folder

Granthe's OMSP from MTS, cuz I wasn't sure if I could merge it or not and decided to play it safe.

WARNING: The lot uses a ton of CC. I have all of the EPs, and a lot of the Store CC too, so if you don't have EA's crap & items are missing, that might be why. But if you're not seeing any of the the 3rd party UGC, then I done goofed, sorry--it's been YEARS since I've shared my lots.

Supernatural Default Skins for IO's 0320 edit v2

So, I've been using this skin by IO (@serabiet) edited by Sam (@dreadpirate @veronavillequiltingbee) as my default for some time and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

The only problem I had with them is that there weren't any Vampire / PlantSim / Evil Witch / Zombie / Genie matching skins... so I made them!

Here's a preview of (in this order) Vampire, Zombie, Evil Witch, and Plantsim skins/overlays:

Human Skin

Here's how Sims in the 4 skin tones look with the human skin, so you can compare them:

Vampire

With this overlay vampires are paler, have cooler/grayer skin than human sims, and have red eyes.

Zombie

This skin/overlay is totally opaque, this means that their original skin color won't change how they look even if you have the Zombie Overlay mod by @midgethetree.

I still recommend using that mod with this skin, because if you do, zombies' eyes will be white instead of their normal color.

Evil Witch

This overlay has transparency. With this overlay evil witches will be green, but their original skin color will change how they look.

I didn't make an overlay replacement for Good Witches because it already works well with the skin. If you don't like it, you can always use a mod that disables it.

Note: be sure the witch skin loads after creaturesfixes if you have it. If the skin loads before the mod, the witches' scalp will look a different color than their skin. I spend like 1 hour trying to fix the scalp looking weird and it turned out to be this lol

PlantSim

This overlay is totally opaque, this means that their original skin color won't change how they look.

There's also the wilted version but I forgot to take pictures

28 Bloody Nights of CAS 🦇

I’ve been really into CAS challenges lately, and as the spooky times are approaching, I decided to create my own. I love vampires and all things related to them, so the theme was easy to pick. Will you be joining me for 28 bloody nights? Tag your posts #28bloodynightsCAS so I can see and reblog your posts! You can start posting your creations whenever you’d like, but I’ll personally begin on October 1 and spend September getting everyone ready.

You don’t have to create just vampires. Bring in their enemies, the targets of their thirst and wannabe vampires if you feel like it! Of course, you don’t have to do all the prompts if you don’t feel like it. Reference the famous vampires from books and movies, make up your own lore, follow the stereotypes or break them, I’m leaving it all up to you. Get creative and have fun!

A little Halloween treat: Crypt O' Night Club revamped.

I like playing downtown. However, I was always kinda disappointed at the careless look of a lot of Maxis lots. So maybe it's time to take things into my own hands and give them a proper, modern makeover?

The interior of this building was actually done quite long time ago. However, I took some pictures with some Halloween decos (which are not included in the download).

In addition to the new exterior look, a second level (plus two empty private dining rooms) around the stage, and the relocation of the bathroom, I kept most of the iconic details of the old Crypt O' Night Club.

In addition, I decided to change the outdoor dining area into a graveyard (for the Halloween theme!) and added a third level functioning as the secret meeting room for the local vampiric council.

This building renovation is possible thanks to all the cc creators. A relatively complete cc list with functional links is available here, just in case you encounter any blueflashes.

I always like to put things on the roof even when no one is going to look at them! The roof top turned out pretty cool with CuriousB cornice and Lethe_s greenhouse glass:

Sims 2: Default Vampire Overlay (Based off @dreadpirate's Party for One Skinblend)

I switched over to this skinblend after testing it out in a medieval themed save, and got annoyed that my current vampire overlays were erasing some of the details in the face. So... I decided to try my hand at making one myself, and added a few quality-of-life features I wanted.

Anyway, the details:

Skin base: Party for One

Color: IaKoa's Snow White's Coffin (no gray-tinted vampires this time, sorry)

Eye overlay: Skell (the original eye color will be overlaid with red)

The preview pic shows a sim with the Medium Maxis skintone without and with the vampire overlay.
