Industrial Steel & Glass Set

Published: 1-30-2024 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY A 20-piece steel and glass set for industrial builds. Mix and match as needed with move objects on/off and grid on/off cheats. Objects are 1-tile,  visible from hood view, and need to be combined with other objects if you want to prevent rain, snow, and sims from intersecting them.

DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §300 | Build > Architecture You need the BBNiche1Master (Buggybooz, 2012), Roofing Repository, and Glass Repository – available in the Repository Pack (Simmons, 2023). Objects are meant to be used with 1-story walls (or higher). **I decimated the frames a bit to lower poly count. Please forgive minor imperfections – but if you notice serious holes/errors in the meshes, let me know.

BUILDING TIPS If you want them to function like walls, combine them with invisible walls, fences, windows, etc. You may need to use the grid on/off cheat to move pieces slightly outside of a four-walled room. Otherwise, the game will consider the object “inside” the room and it will go dark. Fencing is recommended when placing floor tiles directly above the pieces to reduce flickering. Also, you can fill gaps with Roof Niche 001/002, Wall Deco 001/002, and the Corner Niche.

CHEAP DATE Simlish Valentine Cards

You get two cards: sweet and salty. Both come in simlish, and only simlish. The sweet card reads “I love you” on the front, the salty one reads “You suck” on the front, and “Get bent. Never Yours, Sim.” on the inside. Click here for the textures / swatches. The mesh by Cat3cm is included, thanks to @moocha-muses's original post (with even more fun recolors) because I spent like half an hour looking for a regular greeting card mesh that wasn’t associated with the postal system mod.

A recolour mashup of the 3t2 keyboard

I actually did this a few years back and always meant to share.

This Sims 3 piano was converted twice to Sims 2. I downloaded the version by Nysha (whiterider) on MTS in 2014. Then in 2019 I went hunting for recolours and by chance came across recolours by Luasims done for a piano, that looked exactely the same as the one I had. But the one she used had been done by Amovitam.

Differences:

The one by Nysha has 2 subsets plus shadows

The one by Amovitam has only 1 subset and no shadows

Checking the textures of both models, they looked very much the same. So I went ahead and ripped the textures from Luasims recolours and put them onto Nysha's version.

All credits go to Nysha (don't forget to pick up the mesh here) and Luasims for their work. The only thing I did, was play around with SimPe a bit.

Empty Default Folder - Organize your defaults!

its pretty simple, but every thing has subfolders and should be pretty easy to get familiar with or edit to your liking!

Here are some of the subfolders that is included in there, the clothes, hairs, build mode, and buy mode categories have custom sub folders with the object you want to replace's original name. So you shouldnt have to worry about duplicate defaults anymore!

JSB Grocery 001: (Functional Jacky93Sims Remix)

Published: 1-13-2024 | Updated: N/A SUMMARY Grocery store objects (Severinka_, 2022; BodegaBaby, 2021) converted by Jacky93Sims (2023), have been edited, expanded, and made functional. Slots have been added to most surfaces along with new items and recolors (select AL Woods; CuriousB, 2010). Some objects require shifting and/or placement cheats for ideal positioning. See below for details.

DETAILS Requires all EPs/SPs. §100-500 | Buy > Surfaces/Electronics Items with “MESH” in their filename are REQUIRED for textures/recolors to display correctly in-game. Also, Object Freedom 1.02 (Fway, 2023) is required. Since some items are cloned from shelves, you may need to shift items up once in order for them to place properly.

Display Island 4 (Fish) is cloned from the default grocery bin and now has an empty state. There is an “ice only” recolor in case you want to decorate it with your own food items -  just know that it will be harder to tell when the bin needs restocking if you use this recolor.

Cold displays/fridges only have slots on the bottom-left side, and Display Island 3 only has slots on the front side. This is on purpose to allow intersection with other deco objects. Also, Shelf 3 (Fridge) is the ONLY shelf that will keep food from spoiling. Do not place perishable items on other shelves/displays! SOME ASSEMBLY REQUIRED Assembly can be annoying, but you gain greater functionality in the end. Place sale items on any one of the FIVE shelves, then add them to Cold Showcases, Fridge Displays, or your own unique display. To assemble the Cash Desk: 1) place the Cash Desk (Center) (this is a counter meant for the cashier/register), 2) place the Cash Desk (Left End) on the tile directly to the left of the Center counter, and 3) use “move objects on/off” and/or “grid on/off” cheats to align the Cash Desk (Right End) part on the right side of the Center counter. Be sure all three parts are facing the same direction.

Hydroponic garden slaved to career reward

I needed a buyable version of the career reward for my sims, that have nature as hobby, but did not just want to unlock the rewards and give them one for free.

First I tried to recolor the one Squinge had made years ago, but SimPe spawned only empty packages.

Long story short, I ended up deciding to learn how to slave objects and cloned Maxis original. As I used the same GUID as Squinge's model, you can only have one in your game.

You will find hydroponic garden in Hobbies -> Miscelenious for 900 and will come in any texture you might have for the original.

It will increase creativity and nature enthusiasm (would have loved to remove the creativity skill gaining, but just not too sure how).

Unfortunatelly, there are not that many recolours to be found. The one shown in the picture is by lenasha (MTS).

MedBobCurl (Jayde’s hair) Converted From The Urbz: Sims in the City to The Sims 2

I can’t believe I first started working on this hair back in February of 2021... but I finally feel ready to release it! I had problems with the Sims 4 conversion of it, but that has been done recently. So, we now have Jayde’s hair available for each game thanks to @carversims​ for the Sims 3 version and @joshseoh​ for the Sims 4 version, links provided down below. There are several swatches that came out with this. I wasn’t able to extract the original colors from the game, so I tried making them myself. Some recreations are from the game, while others are additions by me. Feel free to delete whatever colors you don’t like. I also went a little crazy and age converted the hair for teens and children.
