Artsy Fartsy - Vintage Simlish Prints

me? doing more silly wall art? shocking! unprecedented! ground-breaking! anyway asdfghgfds all joking aside, it's finally done and i'm really happy to share it with you all!!

I found a bunch of free-to-use vintage prints, and thought, 'hey, i want these in my game'. So I cleaned each picture up, removed the text and replaced it with Simlish. There are framed and unframed versions for each print, and all the framed ones come with 6 different frame colours for each print (there's....a LOT of total swatches. like a lot a lot. warning you now lmao). I'm also sharing PNGs of the edited pics themselves, for you to use however you want lmao.

BGC Vintage Prints with Simlish text (fonts from the incredible @franzillasims). 845 total swatches. Frame colours are dark, mid and light wood tones, plus black, white, and grey. Merged and individual files available!

Anyway, I think that's all the info...sorry for such a huge post lmao. I really wanted to do more frame colours, but I quickly realised even with just the 6, the swatch count was getting ridiculous. Anyway, I actually really, really enjoyed cleaning up the images and removing the text to make way for the Simlish, even if i did belatedly realise that in-game they're so small you probably won't even notice anyway but asdfghjhgfdsa. I really hope you enjoy these!

Rêverie Macabre - A dark academia set of paintings

This is my come back on tumblr! I'm a bit late, but let's say it's a late Simblreen gift from me to you! 🍂🍁🌰 I got inspired to create this set while I was working on a lot that I will share with you very soon (maybe). I use lotusplum's Reverie Paintings very often but I wanted something a bit moodier for this lot, so I went on and creating this one. Hope it gets you in the mood for the dark season 😎 Enjoy !

ABOUT THIS SET : This set contains a bunch of paintings to decorate your walls, with a total of 20 swatches : 10 with a brown frame, 10 with a gold frame. To find them ingame search [AnxiousArchitect], you should find it easily. They're all recolors, mesh is from Maxis. The paintings are actually classical artwork from painting masters of the last centuries ; I chose them all very carefully to create a diverse and pleasant set ! I used full paintings and painting pieces to create new ones. If you're interested in knowing the name of the artists, feel free to ask 🌱 It's fully base game compat....wait, i'm not so sure. You may or may not need Live Together for that one. Sorry, I'll check this out. All of this paintings should be in public domain, which make it safe to share. But just in case, please let me know if you feel I'm not giving proper credit and I will correct it immediately. Goncharov Simlish Posters

Many, many thanks to @the-light-of-stars who gave me permission to edit these for The Sims 4.

For the past week I have been hyperfixating on the non-existent Martin Scorsese movie Goncharov (1973) and have loved the amount of fanwork and even Sims-related content that has been inspired by the movie. Thus, I took it upon myself to convert the text in these posters to Simlish so that I could enjoy them in-game.

1 month anniversary + 100 follower gift

In honor of my blog turning 1 month old, and getting to a 100 followers (well, a little more than that now, but who cares.) I decided to finally finish the "paintings" of Brindleton Bay I've been working on.

All of the paintings feature in game screenshots of the landscapes in Brindleton Bay, some with buildings made by @antiquatedplumbobs from her Antiquated Brindleton save file (which I also absolutely recommend downloading if you haven't yet.)

These are great for historical gameplay, but could also work in a more modern setting.
