SIMS 4 - UPDATED ALIEN SKIN TEXTURE DEFAULT REPLACEMENT - GET TO WORK REQUIRED

I was looking for some cool alien skin when I discovered this awesome texture by tanja1986 at Mod the Sims. I also discovered that it was out of date and breaking the game, so decided to make an updated version. The original creator hadn't mentioned if they were fixing it, and also have no TOU.

I recreated the colours using tanja1986's texture file (my sincerest thanks!), and they may be a little different from the originals, but still the same shades 😊

These are DEFAULT REPLACEMENTS, so you will not see the original alien skintones at all.

If you want the non-default skintones I made, you can find them HERE. They are compatible, so you can have both sets!

The only sims these skintones don't work on is babies.

Vincent caught up on some work with Isaac and Renee came along to get some fresh air! "I'm just heading to the t-toilet..." for a second Renee thought she had peed herself, but it was her waters breaking. "Isaac drive the car over!" Vincent tried to control his breathing. Nothing could prepare him for this sudden panicking; he had to be strong for Renee. He was grateful his brother was there to calm him down and control the situation. The following moments felt like a whirlwind, but they travelled safely to the hospital and welcomed their new bundles of joy!!!

I was looking for some cool alien skin when I discovered this awesome texture by tanja1986 at Mod the Sims. I also discovered that it was out of date and breaking the game, so decided to make an updated version. The original creator hadn't mentioned if they were fixing it, and also have no TOU.

I made 17 colours, including the original neutral gray. There are 2 other "grays," one in the purple shade and one in the turquoise shade, for a pewter and silver look.

My sincerest thanks to tanja1986 for the texture file!

These are NON-DEFAULT so they won't remove the original alien skins from the game, and are only available Teen-Elder. Tanjya1986 hadn't made a baby/toddler/child version of the texture, but if someone wants to give it a try, please feel free to do so!

I also wanted to try out the 'kiss baby' interaction because sims that have reached level 7 in the politican career have that option, but for some reason only Rohan could do it and not Supriya 🤔

How do we feel about this reshade preset? It has my psd + topaz slapped on top of it but do the vibes of this preset fit my style at all? I know I’ve been going for clean and crisp but this dreamy look is tempting
