Обожаю эти анимации и всякий раз искренне радуюсь за своих подопечных.

Теперь, когда главное дело сделано, все могут расслабиться и спокойно почиллить в прохладном бассейне.

Праздничный фуршет.

Молодожены открывают подарки. Кенди повезло больше, чем Хоакину...

Ближе к вечеру на танцполе остались самые стойкие.

Менее стойкие разбрелись по домам или сошли с дистанции прямо на месте.

Просто красивый закат и пафосный Хоакин с пивом пенистым напитком.

Заметив Эмили, вынырнувшую на несколько секунд из воды, Хоакин и Кенди Ле Шьен сочли ее появление добрым предзнаменованием!

EDIT: This has been sitting in my drafts for WAY TOO LONG. Happy to share this finally in honor of Diwali/Deepavali! Funny enough my OG post for this wedding is now being reshared again, lol!

So everyone was so sweet in their comments about this wedding lot I redecorated for Liv and Deeps’ wedding on this main post. Nevertheless, I thought I’d share it with everyone as a gift for you to repurpose for you own Indochine and Desi weddings!

Also for anyone who is curious, the ‘altar’ I built is called the Mandap. It serves as the altar for most Indian weddings. It includes the ‘royal chairs’ for the wedding couple, the side chairs for parents and a pedestal for the religious ceremony. 

Enjoy and please tag me if you ever use it in your gameplay/stories, etc.! I’d love to see it in your game!

I tried to have an engagement party for Reila and Emely through the "plan wedding event" interaction and it was such a nightmare that I'm now hesitating using this as the way for them to have their wedding. Like, none of my guests would actually participate in the actions I wanted them too, like doing a toast or eating together. I couldn't even get them to sit together! Is the wedding event any better? Are there any mods I can use to fix these issues? C'mon EA, I just want a functional wedding for my sims.

Levi Anne turned up to the ceremony in a white dress because that’s just the kind of person she is. Mitchell couldn’t help but remember their wedding day as he looked at his wife, forgetting that they were their to celebrate his son and his family.

Not wanting to distract from the exchanging of the vows, Arturo assured Cadence that he would speak to her once they were married. The couple exchanged vows and kissed, then went straight to cutting the cake. However, Levi Anne opening her umbrella indoors was the last straw for Cadence. As she vented to her mother, Arturo took his father aside and asked them both to leave. He was disappointed in himself for thinking his parents had changed, and angry at himself for upsetting the love of his life on their special day.

Mitchell and Levi Anne left as the happy couple shared their first dance. Later, as they toasted to their eternal happiness, Arturo knew that his relationship with his parents was unsalvageable. But that didn’t matter now, because he knew that he’d do everything to make sure that his children never felt the same way about him.

The Sotos | Casual Noncommittal Gameplay 

Dominique and Camille Soto trip down the altar felt like a story ripped out of a 90s rom com. Months after their wedding, they have finally settled into their new home*. A budding artist, Dom, spent her days painting landscapes and portraits in the village square. She has finally saved up enough money to open up an art studio in Via Romanza. Cami, a writer, has taken on her family’s mantle as the historians of Porto Luminoso. She’s even contemplating going back to school to complete her History degree.

Despite these new changes, nothing can shake the love they have for each other. They still make time to enjoy the simple things like dancing in their backyard under the light of a beautiful Tartosan day. They will always and forever be each others’ home away from home.

Credits: This beautiful lot, Homey Haven, is made by the madly talented @moonlightowl-es.The dining nook she created is just too amazing for words in this build! Also, these are in-game shots thanks to @mercuryfoam incredible dance mods! 

I decided to jump back into this save that I started before my month long hiatus from simblr! I really loved the Sotos story but hated that we didn’t get to play them before they hit their golden years together. So I aged them down and gave them a makeover...I’m thinking about them adopting and starting a foster family...
