Imagine being so threatened by a response that you belittle someone for a simple counter opinion.

Hi @ts7eggs, I see you found that anon button despite me blocking you.  When someone blocks you that means they don’t want to further converse with you. But you can’t seem to follow simple rules.

Anyway, before your inevitable tantrum I want to remind YOU that you came here first. I didn’t troll the T Swift tag and force my opinions on YOU. I simply stated them on my blog and they are not even that controversial.  But nah, you can’t stay in your own lane and let people have their own opinions.

So, while you can’t seem to grasp the meaning of a block I will state simply and publicly, please leave me alone. I am not a stan of anyone and don’t want to hear from stans.

Also, Taylor is a grown ass 30 year old woman, she doesn’t need you defending what you mistake as her honor but are really just your opinions on the internet.  

She’s a marketing genius who uses the press to sway public opinion. Which is what everyone in business tries to do.  Acting like she’s a damsel in distress is so demeaning.

There’s an amazing singer/songwriter on TikTok named Eva Westphal that quickly became one of my favorites! She’s covering Taylor’s songs from an lgbtq+ perspective (including changing pronouns) and you guys have GOT to check her out. No, babe, I’m sorry. Dropping a link and saying “this is why Gigi tagged Taylor and Joe” shouldn’t be the beginning and end of your argument. What is “this” exactly? In this particular instance the devil is in the details.

Are you saying : the reason why Gigi tagged Taylor and Joe is so they could give US Magazine a headline in this trying times ??They’re just that concerned for Gossip Magazines.

I’m guessing that’s not what you were saying. Hopefully. I’m guessing you were thinking more about Taylor Swift needing US Magazine to write that headline, not the other way around.

Okay, so were you trying to say: the reason Gigi tagged Taylor and Joe is because Taylor wanted to distract people from the Scooter news? Well, that doesn’t make that much sense either. She was the one posting the statement. Why would she go through the trouble of writing it if she would then want people to think about something else? Also, if that’s the case, her plan backfired spectacularly.

If you search Taylor Swift on Google News, this is what you get:

Barely any mention of Joe.

So maybe the argument is more about Joe needing the publicity boost. Well, that’s awfully nice of both Gigi and Taylor. Especially the last one, knowing that US Magazine would be talking about it (which apparently is a big deal for you) that she’d share a bit of her spotlight on the same night she’d be posting a statement about a very important topic to her.

Or... was it Gigi the one who needed the publicity? But then again... did she really?

I’d say Gigi having a birthday created enough headlines for her... Do you really imagine these two girls craving attention that bad? That Taylor wakes up one day and thinks “no one has been talking enough about me lately, I better send Gigi Hadid birthday flowers and have her tag me... better yet, have her tag me and Joe. If he’s also in the tag, people will care more about me”.

Ts7eggs is the most adorable argument yet, though. I want you all to imagine the situation. Taylor writes and posts that statement. She clearly cares a lot about this. But then... she panics. “My fans” she thinks “they will be devastated. They will all be so worried about me”. So she comes up with a simple plan. She calls Gigi and asks her to tag Joe on the flowers. “We both win” Taylor explains to her friend, “people will pay attention to you for once, and it will soften the news about Scooter. I care and all but I don’t want people to only talk about that, you know?”

Lastly, here are the two posts on reddit about these things. Compare the amount of upvotes and comments. Does anybody else get the feeling that Kaylors seriously overestimate how much the rest of the fandom cares about Taylor’s love life?

Had some thoughts about the uses/imagery of babies in the TSU and noticed something. So, “Gorgeous” captures the rush of a crush and begins with a baby girl saying “gorgeous.” It’s cute, it’s happy, and most importantly it’s innocent. It’s a beginning. Compare it to “Cruel Summer” where you’re now crying like a baby in the back of the car. But you’re not showing that emotion. It’s one thing to ask your crush out. It’s another to bleed in front of someone. So what do you do? You lie and say you’re fine, even if it isn’t true. You hide behind a game, buying boys like toys. You lie to their face in the summer. It’s a cruel summer where you can’t express the depths of your emotions. And that’s what hurts in the end. You thought it’d be a golden age of something good and right and true because you felt it all so much but then all of the nights go blue and it doesn’t feel like that at all. You no longer resent stumbling on home to your cats because you can’t even remember the last time you were truly at home. But through all of this you’re still hoping, praying, dying to keep your lover. Hoping for a fairytale ending. That when you show up at your old address, you’ll feel like yourself again, and even though you boarded up the windows long ago, you also hope that somehow your lover will be waiting for you at home. But you’ve woken up. You’re in the inbetween, honey. One foot out. You know the weight is coming. And now the cooing baby voice you once used for your lover has turned into a desperate wail as you cry out for comfort, surrounded by the sounds of everyday life, the sounds of a city that you’re scared will still scream your lover’s name.
