Death the Kid with an Easily Overstimulated S/O

-I feel like out of all soul eater characters, Kid would be one of the most understanding with sensory issues

-though noises and people have never been his scene they've never necessarily bothered him either, just something he had to do as a grim reaper in training

-but now he kinda uses you hating loud noises and crowds as an excuse to not be near any of that

-but he cares about your feelings first and his second of course

-whenever you're having a day where everything feels like too much, kid would take you to an empty part of the castle school

-you could either sit in his lap or next to him, whatever you prefer, and he'd have a playlist of either your favorite music or calming music loaded on his phone for you

-you would just sit in silence, being able to drown out any worrying noises and thoughts with the music Kid picked out for you

-if you wanted, he would hold you close and just let you sink into him, keeping a hand on your neck to keep you grounded

-Kid would also have special earplugs made so that the damn things actually work (rich boyfriend privileges)

-Kid would keep personal functions small, you would meet his friends a few at a time, things like that to make you feel all the more comfortable

-all you have to do is give Kid a look and he's getting you out of whatever situation you're in, making a really bullshit excuse to leave

-you are never allowed to apologize for needing to leave a function NEVER, because it isn't something you can’t control and mean to do on purpose

-overall kid with a S/O that is easily overstimulated is a 100/10, he gets you so much and he just wants to help you!

Platonic Yandere Soul Eater Gang x reader

A/N: So, I've been posting a lot of One Piece stuff, so I thought I would be good to break up with other fandoms I'm interested in. Soul Eater is an Anime I haven't watched in a while but really enjoy so I wanted to write something involving the main group. I also want to write for OHSHC and maybe even twisted wonderland and Genshin. Anyway, please like or reblog if you enjoy. Thank you!

The Soul Eater gang is filled with a bunch of odd ball characters. From an outsider's perspective, it is hard to tell that they are even friends. They are almost always arguing, and if they aren't there's an argument waiting to happen.

I like to think that you were a knew student at the DWMA, weapon or meister, it doesn't matter. What matters is that, to these kids, you were interesting. You most likely met Maka first, Soul never too far from her. After that, she introduced you to the others, and the rest was history.

Soul and Maka were like you shadow, never far from you once you became friends with them. Soul is obsessed with anything 'cool' and in his eyes, you are such. You'll never know it, but he constantly worrying about reaching your expectations. Most of the time when he's around you, he's laid back, and compared to the rest of the gang, isn't super possessive. When he's with Maka though, he's more inclined to get upset if someone interrupts your time with him.

Maka is a lot like her weapon, in the case that she isn't possessive over you and your time. She does like hanging out with you and will often spend time studying with you, sometimes even with Kid and Tsubaki. The only thing that gets Maka riled up with you getting hurt. It's something that effects all of them, but Maka always feels as though it is her fault when you get her. She is not afraid to put herself in danger if it means protecting you.

Speaking of Black Star, he is a lot. Just hanging out with him drains a lot of your energy. Out of all of them, Black Star is the one that takes most of your time, not being afraid to threaten someone who is trying to take you away from him. Tsubaki sometimes tries to calm him down, but deep down Tsubaki is just as protective as the rest of the group.

Tsubaki is super sweet. She loves hanging out with you and wishes so much of your time wasn't taken up with school. She hates seeing how stressed you are and will do whatever she can to fix it. She understands that Black Star is a lot to handle, so she's often the one who calms Black Star down when he gets too worked up. However, Black Star and Tsubaki have a hidden understanding, both of them being the one who protect you. If you even go on a mission with them, Black Star and Tsubaki will work his hardest to protect you, both expecting your praise after defeating any threat to you or your safety.

Kid is the strangest. While he loves being your friend, he sometimes feels as though he doesn't deserve your friendship. He wants to be perfect for you, he needs to be perfect for you, and will settle for nothing less. He also encourages you to be your best self, doting on you in every sense. He makes sure you are eating right and keeping up with your studies and training, along with making sure you don't stress yourself out with schoolwork. He wants you to be the best version of yourself, feeling a sense of pride when you accomplish something. Kid is also possessive and will use his status in the school to intimidate students into leaving you alone. He doesn't like when others criticize you, or even talk to you, so he will always drag you away when others try and take up your time, complaining about the so called "useless students."

Once Crona joins the school, they also take a liking to you. They are naturally shy and, like kid, don't believe they deserve you and your kindness. They feel the most content when they are with you and want to be around you constantly. They despise Ragnarök and how he constantly embarrasses them but feels somewhat better when you don't mind. Crona cares a lot about your opinion and will sometimes go as far as changing things about themself to better please you, only stopping when you say not to. Crona also doesn't feel the need to be possessive over you, feeling as though that's wrong, even if they hate it when you are not near them.

All together, they care about you deeply, and want you to be as happy as possible. While they might disagree on a lot of things, they do agree on one thing and that's you. I like to think that Maka manipulates you to move in with her and Soul so that they can keep better track of you and relay that back to the others when needed. You wouldn't really even notice their weird behaviors, since, other than Black Star, are really good at hiding the most negative aspects. If you do ever point out their behavior, they won't hesitate to quilt you into staying with them, referencing how much they've been though, and how they wouldn't make it if you left them.

This is all..really interesting and..exciting? Well at least for Soul, Blackstar, and you. And possibly Kid?

Anywho, Dr. Stein had informed the class about a new classmate, who was Lord Death’s own son. You and your two friends loved some action and a challenge so why not give this fellow classmate of yours a nice greeting?

You and Soul had your fair share with a battle together, you two are rather close to one another. If Blackstar isn’t there with y’all, then it’s just you and Soul. Soul prefers to be alone with you rather then Blackstar being there

So, here you three boys are, skipping Dr Steins class to go and take on this new classmate.

It wasn’t long before you came into contact with Kid. You were really stunned, you didn’t expect to see such a handsome boy..and he’s gonna be coming to this school? He’s gonna be in your class? That’s a blessing right there. Just…pure. At first you didn’t want to fight him at all because you didn’t want to damage that beauty of course. But you really did want to fight him though..just don’t aim for the face then it will be just fine.

When Blackstar ends up breaking one of the red spikes on the DWMA while giving out his awesome speech, this sets Kid off immediately. He’s complaining about the symmetry…

Your a lone weapon without a meister, upon seeing that, Kid couldn’t help but be all so curious. You’re a weapon that doesn’t have no meister at all, fighting on your very own. Shouldn’t you have a meister now..? That isn’t important right now, he has to take down the three of you.

All four of you got into fighting stance, preparing for battle. The tension between y’all was thick and intense as you all stared daggers at one another.

When Soul and you was going in to do y’all’s first move..you ended up getting pierced in the damn head. Blackstar jumped in and tried to pick Soul, who was in his weapon form up but..he couldn’t. If Soul was so heavy then how in the world did Maka swing him around as if he was a fidget spinner?

Yeah…this wasn’t going as planned as it should’ve went. Were you guys even taking this seriously one bit?? Even if you were it sure did not look like it..

This isn’t going to work out like it should. You guys can’t even sense each others wavelengths.

BROMANCE INCOMING…or is it?🧐

“Y/n…it’s over between us.” When you heard those words fall out of Soul’s mouth, you stared in disbelief..is he really breaking up with you at a time like this?

This is all so sad for the two of you. Having to spilt up away from each other like this..it’s heartwenching..it’s terrible.

Stein, Maka, and Tsubaki are all looking at the two of you as if they are watching a dramatic sad scene in a romance story.

Kid was just standing there with his guns, asking if he could shoot the two of them now. But Liz told him to hold it on back.

“Okay Soul…I understand..but..is it okay if we stay friends?” You asked him, looking away with a hand ok the back of your head. Your eyes widened when you saw Soul running to you, he wanted to be friends again!!!

You two began running towards each other so dramatically..so romantically. This was a dream come true, you two did NOT break up, you two are back together. Blackstar is running towards yall as well..

You all crash into each others arms as you all hugged each other tightly.

POW!

You all fall to the ground. This is due to Kid shooting his guns at the three of you, ending the bromance.

Y’all’s wavelength sucked like hell so you guys decided to attack Kid individually. Different and various moves were across the entrance of the school as you three were going right on at it.

You were trying to avoid hitting Kid’s face of course, you didn’t want to knock the beauty out of him.

Despite the three of you fighting with all your might, it was obvious that you three were losing as well. Kid was way more faster and flexible out of the three of you, as well as being able to have access to far distance with his twin pistols. It also didn’t help that the three of you were pitiful morons…

The fight is coming to a closure when Kid is so sick and tired of all the mess going on, fooling around. Kid decided to do his signature drop down to shoot you. You and Kid were so close to one another. Very close.

You felt heat rise to your face as your face was painted to red much to Kid’s surprise. You threw your head back as blood came out of your nose as you fell onto your back so asymmetrically.

Everyone just kinda stood there as you got a nosebleed. Kid just kept on holding his guns as he stood there staring at you. Now why on earth would you get a nosebleed? How did you get one? Why did it happen?

Black star immediately darted over to your body and started to shake you furiously, asking if you were okay and how they will kill Kid, shaking you all around. Soul on the other hand scoffed as he looked away…I think he knows why you got a nosebleed. He wished he didn’t. Feeling a little jealous…

Soul Eater Evans:

Soul is very casual most of the time and I feel like tickling someone to pieces wouldn’t be any different.

Like Maka, takes it in complete stride which his Lee likely wouldn’t expect if they’d hidden it from him out of fear for any length of time.

He finds this hysterical and incredibly endearing at the same time, leading to him laughing at you good-naturedly.

“Damn, you went that long without something you wanted out of some misguided sense of feeling weird? You could’ve just told me, ya know. I tickle Blackstar and Maka all the time, Hell you’ve seen me do it. You had to know I wouldn’t mind.”

When you fumbled to explain it was different he sighed and rubbed his head.

“Man, you’re hopeless. Least now I know why you ran away all those times. Must’ve been really embarrassing for you, huh?”

He grinned, wiggling his fingers at you eagerly as he cornered you.

“Welp, guess all we can do is make up for lost time huh? C'mere so I can help you experience what you’ve wanted so bad first hand!”

He’s not a chaser, prefers for you and him to be more stationary.

Admittedly gets a kick at seeing you try to hold your arms up or not struggle too much, even though a cool guy like him could totally overpower you.

Reassures you in his own way too, bringing it up casually after wrecking you after you both had a stressful test that day.

“Y'know, the others won’t mind tickling you either. Even on the fraction of a chance they’re not willing to- they wouldn’t make fun of you for it. Even if they did, they’d have me to deal with!”

He flashed a shark-toothed grin your way.

“You like being tickled. So what? C'mon, say it. I know you can!”

Messes with you for a few days and sessions until you finally spit the words out.

He doesn’t tickle you directly till you get it out- only giving a quick poke or huff of air along your neck or ears to make you jump, around the others that prick-until you crack.

He’s kind’ve mean about it, honestly, but he does it to help you not hide who you are from the others. It’s all out of love in the end.

Rubs it in your face so hard when he ends up right. Doesn’t let you live it down ever.

Expect group tickle sessions for a while too just to be extra sure you got the message it’s not a big deal.

Maka Albarn:

Maka is really intuned with everyone around her and that translates to when she Ler’s too.

She senses the little things- the way someone leans into her touch when they like a spot.

She’s kind too- not the type to call you out and tease you for it like Soul or Stein, and if she does it’s playful and she’ll immediately admit she liked it just as much as you.

She loves to make others happy, and this is no exception. She views it as perfectly natural and normal and just about Maka-Chop’s you anytime you put yourself down.

You learn to accept your little quirk with her and the rest of your friends help.

Black Star:

God Blackstar is a rough one.

Good luck, the second he finds out you’re ticklish I hope you like it because he’s gonna use it to mess with you constantly.

Getting out of things, making you forgive him for small mistakes, you name it he’ll implement tickling somehow if it fits.

And when Tsubaki finally spells it out for him that you like it?

Even training isn’t safe then and he is merciless in that environment when he’s focused so trust- you both do and don’t wanna be caught by him.

He’s loud when he teases so you have to be direct and tell him not in public, and remind him if it bothers you fairly often otherwise the whole damn school is gonna know.

Speaking of teasing, KING of teases.

I’m blushing just thinking about it.

“Wow, is this really all you can handle? I know it’s a tall order because you’re up against a big star like me, but I’ll have to help you build up your stamina and endurance.”

“You’re lucky there’s no Kishin who tickle their victims; otherwise you’d be a goner for sure! Luckily you have the great Blackstar to help you as a failsafe precaution! Aren’t you lucky?”

You called his bluff when he was just starting out and assumed he was loud and obnoxious with no other mode and boy did that backfire on you horribly.

After finding out you like being tickled, guess who now has a way to show you just how well he can sneak up on people whenever and wherever he wants?

Uses tickles as a reward/motivation too, to keep you training with him just that little bit longer than you usually would.

Tsubaki:

Gosh she’s so flustering as a Ler without even trying.

It’s because she’s so sincere and gentle.

It makes her amusement and sweet teases all the more effective.

“Aww you’re so precious like this! I’ve gotta do this more often!”

She’s one of the easiest Lers to go to, especially if you want relaxing tickles.

She’s so gentle technique wise, really only using spidering and stroking but it still tickles like Hell.

The only one who can reign Blackstar in with either tickling him or just talking sense.

Death the Kid:

Kid is generally very put together and that translates to when he lers.

Of course, he has to tickle symmetrically which means his poor Lee will have to put up with either both his hands or two tools at once.

The only good thing is that means you know the sensations are predictable.

Unless he has Liz and Patty help. Then? Then they’re really in trouble, because they’ll do the same, but as long as they keep the same technique? Kid’s fine letting them have variety from him. Predictability neutralized.

Unintentionally so flustering, holy shit.

Kid is naturally very logical and serious, and has a dry, sarcastic sense of humor. That man’s smirk is lethal.

Absolutely uses this to his advantage. After all, he has to make both of your cheeks the same pretty shade of red, and what better way to do that then make it cover your whole face~?

“Oh come now, surely it can’t tickle that badly? You’re flattering me.”

Can’t stop at an uneven time- works together with his Lee to get to 88 minutes for perfect symmetry.

He’ll stop before that if needed of course, but it’s typically best when the numbers match.

Patty:

Brings out of her Lee’s childish natures with her own.

Tends to giggle happily along with her Lee and is one of the Lers most often to start tickle fights and the like.

Adores how much fun it is to make her friends, family and s/o’s laugh omg.

It’s why she does it so often.

Most think she’s not smart but really, she’s quite aware. She just chooses to embrace her more childish side openly.

Loves to tease her Lee’s and pouts when she has to stop or gets pulled away by Liz.

“Aww but why? They’re so cute like this!!”

“Yes Patty but you kind of need them alive to tickle them more yeah? Let ‘em breathe, k?”

She salutes her sister all cute-like.

“K!!”

Switches spots often and has to get reminded by Kid to be more symmetrical if they’re Ler'ing someone together because she forgets a lot and it always makes her Lee jump in their grip.

Liz:

Queen of self-care/self-comfort tickles, for both her Lee and herself.

Compliments galore she’s so damn nice.

“Your laugh is so pretty, I swear. I’m so jealous!”

“Oh my God your nails are so cute!! You have to paint them for me later! Maybe if you agree to I’ll stop~”

Her teases are like that, mixed with her genuine compliments.

The most merciful between her sister and Kid.

Kid tends to get lost in the symmetry while tickling his Lee so if she’s helping or knows he’s gonna be Ler'ing someone she always reminds him to set an alarm so the poor Lee isn’t stuck there for 3 hours.

Definitely hasn’t happened more than once, nope.

Not that the Lee was complaining-

Absolutely loves using her nails as a tickle tool. It’s her go-to method and she is good.

Stein:

Unsurprisingly, the scientist who loves to experiment, also does so when tickling. It’s just his nature.

In addition to that he’s perceptive as Hell so good luck hiding your reactions.

In all likelihood, he knows instinctively if a Lee enjoys it thanks to seeing their Soul and being able to sense their nature better than most.

Let’s face it; Stein’s a complete sadist- and not only that- he’s very open about that fact.

Which means if it gets to you that he’s like that he’ll absolutely call you out and mess with you with it, switching between his typically playful and analytical self and his more cruel side.

Knows every tool out there, and relishes testing more unconventional ones too like back scratchers, combs and the like.

That goes for enhancement methods too. Everything from oil, sensory deprivation, and bondage. Whatever he can think of, really.

What are your Soul Eater ships besides Spirit/Stein?

Oh boy LOL well. I actually don't have too many? Not that I think about seriously. I'll name the ones I think about seriously and then the couple I think about casually. This is gonna be a non-spoiler post with just brief overviews, but I'll mention both anime and manga.

Soul/Maka - I mean. They hit hard in both canons. Easily the most shippable and I'm delighted to ship them. Dare I use the term soulmates? Yes, yes I dare. They're utterly perfect for each other. I could ramble on for thousands of words about why but that would take too long in this post, so I shall save it lol.

Spirit/Stein - Also love them in both canons. I think anime shipping is easier even though they technically get less time together than in the manga? There's reasons for that. Also I find I'm more drawn to them as a platonic ship, but 'eyyy ain't gonna say no to the romance. I am drawn to them because of the whole story... You've got these two dysfunctional adults with some crazy insane history together and we get bits and pieces and more questions than answers and just what happened and I desperately need to know, and I need them together. These two hold me utterly captive with the potential for their stories.

Stein/Marie - Still ship in both canons, but manga is far more shippable and this is why I find Spirit/Stein easier in the anime, because you cannot deny Stein/Marie in the manga. I haven't even finished reading it yet as I write this and I'm just. Whoa. He...actually loves her. I didn't see it coming. And they ALSO have tons of off-screen story that leaves more questions than answers and I direly need to know! Another huge wash of potential.

Black Star/Tsubaki - I mean... Come on. It's right there. In both canons again. But it's the sort of ship where...they don't get romantic till they've grown up. Not for some years later, as late teens or young adults, and then it's sort of an...oh yeah of course we're in love, sort of thing. I don't give tons of thought to this ship, but it's definitely got me.

Kid/Liz - I really do not think about this one hardly at all, but glimpses again in both canons caught my eye. I see this more as a one-sided unrequited love thing on Liz's part, except it's not actually unrequited and it would shock the living daylights out of her if he ever showed any sign of sharing her feelings. Which of course he would some day, heheh. But yeah I barely give thought to this one at all.

Ox/Kim - Don't think about them, but yes very good. Also canon in the manga, woo.

Ox/Harvar - Don't think about them, but they remind me of SoMa.

I think that's it? That might be all I've thought about ship-wise? Hmmm... If I think of more I'll come back to this post and add to it.

Soul Eater Phantom of the Opera AU

Except, instead of being a chorus girl, Maka is an ambitious director who wants to use the Phantom's haunting and beautiful music in her new production. Also, she knocks his head in with a book every time he tries to kidnap people.

Tsubaki is a chorus girl with a lovely voice but a lack of confidence that Maka wants to play the titular role. She can actually sing outside her range and is versatile as an actress, she just needs to get over her stage fright.

Black Star is a boastful alto that has a ton of raw talent but unfortunately tends to chew the scenery and ignore stage directions. He can actually match Tsubaki's tone incredibly well, but he's going to need to put aside a lot of ego if he wants his time in the spotlight.

Kid is the new theatre owner who inherited it from his late father. He's relatively reasonable, but the phantom's demands seem to be driving him up the wall. He's often accompanied by two women he refers to as his "bodyguards."

And finally, the Phantom is a mysterious composer who lives in the theatre, often influencing and critiquing productions and performers, sometimes with dangerous methods. Those that have seen him say he wears a mask to hide his true face, which some say has a beastly maw and devilish eyes. However, beneath his apparent arrogance is the heart of a true lover of the arts and if he wants his music to get anywhere, he's going to have to contend with the director that the theaters' new owner has brought in.

Any next gen Soul Eater ideas, like CroMa kids or something? Maybe they could finally start really healing the human-witch divide, unlike the copout super convenient manga truce🤷🏿‍♀️

Well to cover it in full, i'll start with how i would have handled their role in the plot, then gone over the individual characters and how one might handle them.

Now i would very much have the younger generation be directly involved/responsible for the two sides making peace, but one thing i would put a lot of emphasis on, is that this is NOT the case that the young was able to make peace with the witches because they had lost nothing.

This is one of the cheapest aspects of the way Kid made peace with the witches. Rather than forcing him to have to accept that people he cared about would go unavenged, kid never had to deal with having witches as a faction kill people he cared about, and so he never developed real hatred for them the way his father did.

This is very cheap, and it's the opposite of how i would have handled it with the next gen.

I would have had most if not all of them suffer real, genuine, personal losses in the war against witches which has ramped up during their early years.

Thus them eventually growing to tire of the war, and realizing that the conflict has to end at some point, even if it means giving up on revenge and payback would have had real, genuine bite.

And with that said, lets get into the real fun part. Dissecting the various aspects you could use to craft the next generation.

In regards to our favorite triangle, there is a lot of potential here.

To confront the most obvious thing out of the way, there is of course the question of wheter any biological child of Kid would also be a shinigami, and if so would the child be like Asura, who's senzu lines was already finished, but not full, or would they be like Kid's own.

If the latter, that completely changes the dynamic, because it means that the child in question has the potential to succeed him as the next great old one of order.

Kid was created with the goal of his father making a true successor that would ideally surpass him.

If kid has a child that has that same potential, it means that the kid in question is both someone Kid loves, but also the reality that to achieve that same potential that Kid unlocked, Kid in turn would have to die.

Even if any kid of Liz and Patty are not shinigami, their nature would still be very big parts of their dynamics with the world and their dad.

Because if fully Human, there is the very real fact that Kid will outlive them. Even in the best case scenario, where they die of old age, peacefully in their bed, their dad would still be eternally young and at their side to see it happen.

Needless to say, this is a great springboard to build character drama off, as the kids in question could easily have a very complicated question with their dad, who might be overprotective of them, and struggle to balance being a father, being the effective monarch of Death city, and their boss if they are Meisters or weapons.

And thats not even taking into account that as any story with half siblings born from a triangle, there is no guarantee that the kids would get well along. Liz and patty worked great because they had a very clear, uncomplicated and mutual love for one another.

As any look into histotical harem politics can tell you, this sort of dynamic very, very rarely appears amongst half siblings.

I imagine both liz and patty would both try to make their kids essentially the next generation's version of them, and that kind of thoughtless but well meaning parenting could easily lead to a very volitile couple of half siblings

And thats great, because theres a lot of ways you could write them with that background and dynamics in mind. And subsequentally, lots of character development you can get by putting this kind of complicated relationship of love mixed with rivalry through the wringer.

As for the kids personalities, the fact is that Kid, liz and Patty all have so many different traits and quirks that they could easily pass on to their kids that it's sorta all up to the author how each would turn out.

Moving on from the triangle, to the ninja duo, we have a parent and child dynamic that would either be great, or absolutely terrible.

Given how black star is, i have no doubt any child of him and tsubaki would probably embrace the fact they are the child of the strongest meister alive, essentially being very similar to him, or they would grow up to absolutely resent it.

Its not hard to see a kid who grows up trying to be black star, growing to absolutely reject the very concept of attaining power just because they want it.

And there are actually several ways to write that.

Obviously the kid could absolutely fail, and the story is about the fact they never had any shot at becoming as strong as he did, and so had to fidn their own way. But you could also write the opposite. Someone who DID attain the absolute peak... Then came to feel that it was all a waste of time, that by trying to be as great as dad, they wasted their entire life so far. That power was not all that important in the end.

Or they could be a happy go lucky kid who takes everything in stride for the most part like Black Star himself.

There are a lot of ways to write this relationship and the kind of person the kid would be.

Im not sure whas aort of relationship the kid would have with their mom though. I imagine Tsubaki would be a good caretaker, but other than being a good mom, i don't really see her as nearly as large a defining presscence in her childs teenage development as Black star is.

As for personality, wheter cynical or joyful, i would probably have them share a lot of traits with black star, like a love for the dramatics, a natural inclination to act over the top(if not mayhaps in the same attentionwhore manner as their dad), and maybe not being the brightest tool in the shed.

As for a child of Maka and Chrona, i would have said kid be the main protagonist of this story, just like her mother was the protagonist of the original.

And the reason for that, and for giving her a very distinct gender, is that i would explore this big conflict between Death's side, and the witches as a whole, by someone who is both.

Namely i would make full use of the fact that said child would be the granchild of Medusa, and in turn, be a witch just like her. Heck you could even have her take more from Medusa than either of her parents when it comes to look, which people have no problem pointing out.

One of the big problems with the witches as a faction is that we never really had a character to explore their inborn desire from destruction, and what that actually means... Well here's a great character to do that with. Someone who has chosen the side of order and law and is generally a good person... While also having all the same inborn urges that the opposition, the ones her own side deems as pure evil, has.

Its a great idea for a character journey, and thats withouth taking into acxount that if she has black blood, she would probably be prone to madness, just like Crona was.

That could manifest itself in bouts of utter bloodlust against evil enemies, just like how stein was when defeating medusa.

As for relationship with her parents, i like the idea of her growing up in a loving home, in stark contrast to her parent Chrona, she was the pride and joy of both her parents lives, and unlike her mother, she didnt groe up in the shadow of a broken relationship where everything just disitegrated.

Heck, even her relationship with spirit(as it would not be tainted by the man's infidelity), would probably be great.

No, her journey and character voes comes from the fact that while she has a great relationship with her family, unlike the rest of the cast, she has a far, far more tumoltous relationship with her homeland, the city state of death city.

There is an old african saying that "The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth". That would be her personal conflict in a nutshell.

She has loved ones in Death city... But she does not love her home the way the rest of the cast does.

As a witch who kills her own, she suffers not only from racism from both sides of this conflict, but would probably also feel like nobody loves her, with all the self loathing that entails. Every single relationship she has is either family, or someone her parents introduced her to.

In other words, she is a very lonely individual, with a lot of issues regarding wanting to make friends, but having huge problems doing that.

In fact, i would use Maka and Crona's best moment, their connecting in the basement so long ago, as something she holds up as an ideal. She WANTS something like that... And the reality is she probably is not going to get it. If she wants to find her own soul mate, she'll have to do it her own way, just like her parents did.

And if she cant... She will one day find herself completely alone in the world, as the only one who'll live as long as she will, is her boss Kid, who she isnt all that close with.

So a bit of a mix between her parents. She has maka's bravery, but just like crona, she has terrible absolutely capacity for friendmaking, and because that attempts at making new relationships leads to constant failure, at some point she became afraid to even try, to risk rejection.

Needless tos say her coming to terms with her issues would very much tie in to the two sides who she like it or not, are connected to both of, begin making peace.

As for personality, probably a mix of her parents with Maka's overall attitude and fluctuating confidence levels, but with Crona's inclination of selfimposed withdrawal and isolation.

As for Soul, if this story has maka and Crona hook up, that probably means he hooks up with... Blair.

Now there is a lot of irony here, that the relationship that was set up as the obvious "false lead" ended up becoming the actual one that happened, and by the time it did, Maka was actually okay eith it, but there is one idea i kinda did want to explore with this relationship.

Namely their kid.

Blair is unfortunately one of soul eaters most wasted characters. Other than fanservice, and one later arc where they got to be cool, she was never really used to good effect.

Essentially what i would do with her and Soul's kid is a do-over. Explore the ideas of having a very distinctly non human main cast member, who has a very nonchelant attitude to everything, life, love, death and so on.

They are the observer that doesnt really fit in, who has very different priorities than the rest of the crew, who yes, is fighting against witches, but isn't actually ideologically invested in the conflict the way the rest are.

Wheras all the rest have very distinct ideological and personal reasons for wanting to comtinue this fight until they "win", they dont care.

This is just a job, not in the sense they get paid to do so, but rather it's a lifestyle choice, that just happens to also include a lot of cash that can be traded for fish and other goodies.

As such, this cat boy/girl could also act as a voice of reason as the ultimate point of this story is the painful march to peace.

As for relationship with their parents, I would have this also be distinctly non human like. Soul WANTS a traditional, father child dynamic. But the reality is that while his kid is both fond of, and loves him, at the tender age of early puberty, they feel like they have grown up and it's time to leave the nest forever and be independent.

Something that weirds out the rest of the cast, but which blair finds perfectly normal and is proud of.

As for personality, very similar to Blair, just with way more focus on their friendship with the rest of the cast.

As for the main other pairing who would probably be really important here, stein and Marie, i... Have no idea honestly.

The fact is both of them are wacky, and insane, just in very different ways, and you could combine both... Or you could have their kid end up being completely normal.

It depends on what role you need them to fill honestly. If you need the older, cooler upper classman who is a few years older than the rest that could work, or if you wanna have them be the next stein with all the screws loose, that works too.

Honestly if you just wanna have them be the love interest who is more science oriented than fighting, that could work too as well.

Any of these combinations could emphasise different aspects of both Marie and Stein and still work just fine for their role.

-if I'm being honest, you were probably at the DWMA for a while before anyone figured out you were Stein's kid

-not because you both are ashamed or anything, you just are both private people like that and you see no fuss in making sure everyone knows your dad is a professor

-but for story's sake lets say it's your first day at the DWMA and students just happen to notice that you and Stein have the same last name and look similar

Soul 'Eater' Evans

-would be cautious around you at first learning you're Stein's kid

-like thinking about how sadistic and crazy your dad is (to him at least)

-let's just say if Soul sees you with a sharp object he runs (it could be a toothpick and he'd run away screaming lets be honest 💀)

-does NOT want to turn out like Spirit he's got enough scars already

-once he realizes you're fairly different from your dad (in that you aren't crazy asf) he's fine

-will ask you at least once a day how you live with your dad

"like how does he even cook? does he dissect the vegetables too?"

-won't openly admit he wants to fight you but he is definately curious

-so when he asks for him and Maka to fight you and you meister, and then you tell him you don't have one

-he is immediately shocked, jealous and crying on the inside

-it's not fair, how can you fight on your own and he can't?

-stays away from you for a little while because he is jealous and intimidated

-but once he learned it was because no one ever wanted to wield you because of your dad so you just fought on your own, he became a lot more empathetic

-you guys are close, both wanted to better yourselves so you spar with each other all the time

Maka Albarn

-will also be slightly uneasy, but the feeling is washed away withing five minutes of meeting you

-especially if you're in the E.A.T class with her

-if you transfer half way through the school year she will offer to help catch you up and introduce you to other students

-if you like books (specificaly historical romances) FORGET IT

-Maka is ATTACHED

-hope you're ready for marriage

-asks forces you to join book club with her, Tsubaki and Jackie

-she probably won't go out of her way to try and wield you in your weapon form, but of you ask or offer she will be open to it (not for too long though because Soul gets mopey)

-if not she will help you find a meister and compile a list of the most eligible meisters in the school without weapons

-then she realizes you fight on your own (get it baddie) and she's interested all over again

-immediately analyzing your fighting style and figuring out how your are self autonomous

-tries to keep you away from Soul for previous reasons as long as she can

Black Star

-everyone tries to hide it but somehow he finds out that Stein's kid is transfering to the DWMA

-same scenario as Kid, he's just waiting for you to show up and fight you 🤺

-probably figures it will be an easy win with just him because you don't have a meister yet

-oh how wrong he is

-Black Star is shell shocked when you attack frist WITHOUT A MEISTER

-he is completely thrown off and you end up winning fairly easily (he ofc says he lets you win)

-warns the others to begrudgingly to not mess with you

-Stein is just taking attendance when you walk in after Black Star (Black star is covered in light wounds while you're practically spotless)

Stein: "Alright is everyone here?- Ah I see one of your classmates has already found y/n, and it seems that they made quite the introduction for themselves. This is why we don't mess with my bloodline class "

Class; "WHAT"

-safe to say it was definitely one way to be introduced to your new class

-Black Star is fairly chill with you, in his own obnoxious way ofc

-will still try and fight you periodically

Tsubaki Nakatsukasa

-has the most seemingly normal reaction to your arrival

-greets you like she would any other person, asking about your experience with fighting, why you joined the DWMA

-when you tell her you join becuase your dad was a professor she was a little shocked to find out it was Stein

-you just seemed so much different than him

-but you explain how he trained you all your life, which is how she finds out that you're a self autonomous weapon

-isn't jealous in the slightest (I mean she has several weapons forms so why should she)

-is slightly concerned for you as a person, you only really knew your dad and without a meister partner she figured you'd be awfully lonely

-so she tries her best to include you on a lot of things, inviting you to hangouts, to train with her, she's even had you over for dinner a few time

-(she let you have her special cookies even bfore black star)

-and since you're such good friends with Tsubaki you do get a lot of Blackstar, but with Tsubaki it's mamagable (even though you do ask her all the time why she chose him as her meister)

Death the Kid

-interest is also peaked upon finding out Stein's kid would be joining the DWMA

-he wouldn't try and fight you like some others, he'd rather observe you from a (safer) distance

-is definitely worried about you being related to Stein like Soul was

-he ended up getting to know you at Maka's book club (he's an honorary member because he only reads obscure asf 1800's english novels)

-finds out that you're extremely normal calm compared to your dad and is a lot friendlier to you from then on out

-most talking about school, training and book club

-he figures out for himself that you're a self autonomous weapon when you've been at the DWMA for a week and hadn't requested a temporary meister partner yet

-at least that's what he tells himself, he really only found out when he fought you for a training lesson and you fought by yourself

-i'm sorry for the Kid fans but he would REFUSE to wield you since there's only one of you :(

-you guys aren't besties but respect each other and get along really well in group activities

Liz Thompson

-THIS GIRL ON THE OTHER HAND

-scared ASF of you

-does not like Stein (he reminds her too much or a creepy ghost) 👻

-so when she learns that you are his daughter she isn't running, she's sprinting

-just imagine you walked over to the group, Soul slowly makes his way off while Liz jumps and hits herself in the head trying to escape 😭😭😭

-and when she learns that you’re self autonomous- you never see her again

-im just kidding, she would definatly be intimidated by you, and would watch you from a distance for a while

-but once she learns of your personality she'd definately a lot mroe comfortable around you

-invited you to sleepovers at the mansion and her painting your nails while you gossip 💅🏼

Patty Thompson

-Patty on the other hand

-oh you're the one that's scared of Patty

-she's just so hyper and energetic, it's just the opposite of you and you're dad and it makes you uneasy

-the air left your lungs when she destroyed the paper giraffe she made during the meister/weapon exam

-it took you a while but you did get used to Patty (to some extent)

-she herself was very excited to meet you

-one of the the first things she called you was "the crazy guy's kid"

definitely got off on the right foot Patty 🙄

-she thought it was really cool that you were self autonomous as a weapon and would NOT leave you alone until you told her how

-you didn't know what to tell her other than years of training

-she got uninterested after you said years lol

-overal you two get a long fairly wel, though you have to admit you mesh better with Liz

-Patty is definitely more tolerable than Black Star so that's something

Crona Gorgon

-also uneasy upon hearing that you're the kid of Professor Stein

-Crona already doesn't know how to deal with one of him and now to Crona it appeared there were two now

-AND you don't even need a meister to right?

-safe to say Crona is the teensiest bit scared

-Ragnarok thinks you're arrogant for existing on the other hand

-him always wanting to fight or attack you and poor Crona just trying to get away

-Crona also gets more more comfortable with you via book club (it's honestly just therapy with really good cookies at this point)

-you and Crona would bond over you and him having odd parents (though Stein wasn't an abusive bitch)

-you'd both understand being looked at differently for your parents

-after a small while Crona would actually shoe you some of his poetry!

-you both would write side by side in silence (Tsubaki would 100% bake you both cookies to snack on)

-and when Ragnarok would come out and both you both you could just threaten him with your weapon(s)

-in summary you probably get along best with Liz, Tsubaki and Crona best as Stein's child

-it's extremely rare that you host hangouts for obvious reasons but your'e always invited to other group activities and train with the others when you want!

-the group even starts to look at Professor Stein differently as they watch the interactions between you and your father!
