Do you think that HYPOTHETICALLY, if given the option (again as a hypothetical question to Rapunzel), she would rather never have had magic hair, never gotten kidnapped, and grew up in the home she was supposed to…but never met eugene
Absolutely not.
There's actually an episode that Ricky Roxburgh pitched that was ultimately rejected (for being "too good" (Chris' words, according to him), where Rapunzel gets sent to an alternate timeline where she grew up in the palace (with magic hair, mind you), and that Gothel had gotten herself hired as her governess, to be close to the magic flower.
So she grew up a princess and kind of a brat at that, because not only was she their miracle child, she was also magical and it got to her head. Because she hadn't been in the tower, Eugene never reformed, and the two of them were kind of... rivals. He was more hardened against the world, and resented the princess who everyone loved, and she hated the man who committed so much crime in her kingdom.
Except now, the alternate timeline Rapunzel has been replaced by our Rapunzel, and she doesn't know any of this. She calls him Eugene and he panics, because no one but him knows that name. They get closer, something something, and at the big climax of the episode, he gives up his life for her.
She gets sent to a kind of void where she can choose to either stay in a world where she was never kidnapped or abused, or go back to the one she knows, and she chooses to go back because it would mean having Eugene in her life.
And I 100% agree with the characterization in this hypothetical episode that I'm so sad was never developed further.

Incarnate Deleted/Recycled Scenes - Adira's "I'd Give Anything"
Summary:
In an older version of Incarnate, Hector remained conscious after being torn apart and encased by the black rocks, then escaped the castle and ran away out of shame and terror. While waiting for his return, Adira sings and mends Hector's torn cloak - the only thing recovered after his transformation. Having this time to herself to reflect on everything and process her experience, Adira also starts to have a meltdown upon processing the sheer horror of Hector's transformation.
Hector needed space when something overwhelmed him. To Adira, it was obvious that he'd run away to find sanctuary (probably with his absent animals) and calm himself down. Eventually, if he was gone for too many days, she'd hunt him down personally - she'd been directly responsible for driving him away, after all. But for now, all Adira could do was prepare for when he returned on his own.
Which, in Adira's mind, meant patching up the large tear in his cloak. It had been caught on a disturbed black rock as he fell and ripped severely. Hector would want it back, Adira knew, and he'd appreciate it being mended from the fall.
And maybe she felt a little closer to her brother, having this garment which meant so much to him in her own hands. As she began threading the needle, Adira found herself falling back on a lifelong instinct and coping mechanism.
"I know we've grown apart, It breaks my heart in two." Her voice was barely audible, cracking slightly through the slowed tempo. She hadn't sung to herself in a while. Letting her emotions spill out of her body was uncomfortable after keeping them suppressed so tightly for fear of falling apart. Now more than ever, Adira couldn't afford to fall apart. Releasing some of the pressure by singing would surely keep her from disintegrating completely.
"I miss your company… The closeness we once knew…"
It had been more than twenty-five years since the real Hector had let himself be seen. He was wild, and brave, and his love and loyalty were heavier than any crown in the seven kingdoms. But he had started to fold in on himself after they were chosen to bear the responsibilities of the elite order of the Brotherhood. Gone was the spunky, playful brother she'd trained with. Gone was the spitfire young man who had grown into a formidable warrior alongside herself. Gone was her partner in song and dance and waging war.
In his place was a bitter, needlessly violent, vengeful shell of a man. This terrifying stranger had taken over Hector's body faster than Adira could comprehend, leaving her lonely and confused. She'd watched an unnamed pain steal the brightness of his eyes. She'd seen him start to cave under some invisible weight that forced itself on his shoulders. But she was ignorant of what caused his suffering, and Hector refused to tell her. So Adira had watched helplessly as her beloved brother vanished before her eyes, unable to pull him back to the safety of her side.
She'd done everything she could to convince him to divulge his problems, pushing him to open up to her like he used to. She desperately worked to prove that she was still worthy to be his confidant. But the harder she tried, and the more she pushed, the farther he pulled away from her. "I won't pretend to know just what you're going through-" Her voice gained momentary strength, before she was hit with a horrendous moment of flashback. She clenched her eyes shut and squeezed the fabric of Hector's cloak in her hands, fighting back the screams in her ears and the sight of her transforming brother in her mind's eye.
After successfully pushing the memory to the back of her mind, where it could safely simmer away for later, Adira began to sing again. Her lips trembled and her voice wavered, but it distracted her from the horrors of the day. And the words held a truth so deep and piercing it hurt. "So if you find that you're in darkness or despair…"
Adira carefully arranged the cloak on her lap so the tear was accessible and easy to work on.
"Though you won't turn to me… Please know I'll be right there."
Hector had a habit of disappearing when he was distressed. Adira knew every single nook and cranny he liked to hide in during their training years, and she always gave him some time to be alone before making any attempts to comfort him.
She liked to think that was one of the reasons he trusted her more than anyone else. Or at least he used to.
"Name any sacrifice, I'll pay the price that's due." Adira smoothed the fabric of the cloak with a regretful hand. She knew she'd gone too far. Even if she fully believed in the power of the Sundrop to stop the Moonstone's reign of destruction, she wasn't right to barge through Hector's childhood home unannounced simply because the princess had caught up to her. There were other options, and perhaps recruiting Hector into her treasonous plan was a bad idea from the start.
Adira hadn't intended for the Great Tree to be destroyed, hadn't even considered it a possibility. Hector and Rapunzel had made their own choices when the situation became serious. But she couldn't help but wonder if those choices would have never been presented if she had simply led the Coronans on an alternate path through the mountains.
Maybe the opal wouldn't have shattered.
Maybe Hector wouldn't have been present when it broke.
"'Cause I'd give anything for you… Yes, I'd give anything to re-live everything-" She cut herself off with a sudden sob as the emotional burden slammed back into her. Adira dropped the needle and clapped a hand over her open mouth as the sounds and sights of Hector's transformation accosted her like vengeful phantoms. It was impossible to hold down her own sobs, tears, and cries any longer.
She re-heard the squelching and ripping as the rocks erupted from his helpless body, the sizzling of the acid as it burned away his ragged clothes and lit into his skin. The image of the black rocks emerging from a living body and greedily encasing it would be incomprehensible if she hadn't already seen it with her own eyes. Adira had witnessed the devastation caused by the black rocks for as long as she could remember. The lives of everyone around her had been affected or outright ruined by them in some way. Some of those lives had been ended by the rocks. Adira had long become accustomed to the sickening physical gore and mind-numbing amount of death which resulted from war. Her kingdom had been entrenched in war with the outside world since before she was born, fighting to keep the Moonstone's deadly powers out of hands that would abuse them. Now the only time her stomach churned and her throat ran dry was if she knew her cohort brothers were in danger of being maimed and/or killed. And for a brief period, she'd been convinced that the black rocks, and the power from which they originated, were indeed going to kill her brother. She was afraid they would turn his body inside out and leave only a bloodied pulp of flesh and bone fragments where a beloved warrior had once struggled. For a moment, she'd accepted the reality that Hector would be the latest in a long line of reminders not to meddle with the Moonstone.
Now she wasn't sure which reality was more terrifying - the one she had envisioned, or the one she was living in. Desperate for protection from this barrage of memories, Adira slung Hector's cloak around her shoulders and held it as taut as possible. She pressed the furry mantle into her face, inhaling the scents of tropical flora and buttered popcorn that she'd come to associate with her brother. The tears only poured faster from her eyes, stripping away the red paint she wore so proudly and dripping into a puddle on the ground. Her throat ached as she struggled to contain the intense sobs and mournful cries that forced their way past her lips.
She was falling apart, and she knew it. And she wouldn't suffer anyone to know about it. She was traumatized, and ashamed, and wished for only one thing in the entire world. She wished so desperately for her brother Hector to be by her side, whole, as she remembered him from the days when their bond was strongest. 🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗🌗 I'm planning to revamp this scene and put into a later chapter of Incarnate because I genuinely love what I wrote here. Adira's emotional turmoil is so satisfyingly sad and haunting, and I genuinely believe that this song is a better description of her relationship with Hector than Rapunzel's relationship with Cassandra. (At least in the context of my fanfic...probably in canon too. 🤣)

Status Update and Warning of a Synopsis Drop
Gonna keep it a stack w yall fellas. I've written over 100 parts of this comic spanning all of the episodes (over 300 pages using 9 point font on google docs) and im realizing theres No Way I'm gonna be able to get my motivation to draw as much as I did for TT back when I first started, much less finish the thing. Much less actually GET to YBOS, which is when the canon deviance legit starts and the story gets way more interesting imo.
So here's what's going to happen:
I'm going to stop drawing the comic. As much as I really like the idea of finishing this particular scene, I know I'm not gonna be able to do it. I haven't updated consistently for months – this is the end of my line here.
BUT
I'm going to write the whole story in its own post WITH VISUALS. I'll explain what happens in every episode over the course of all the seasons, maybe even include some of my favorite visuals/boards when I was writing them. I'll also probs have some deleted concepts in a separate post (because damn I went through some rewrites when season 2b dropped). I'll consider dropping the script too, so you guys can see the actual lines I wrote for each part, but that's a big "if".
Don't get me wrong, I'll still be active (probably more active than I have been in the past few months LMAOOOO). I'm just shifting this AU story away from a comic medium and into a Tumblr AU medium, like how a lot of the TOH aus are at the moment. I want to tell this story and give you guys content, and if i have to do it without the art medium then I will.
I am so grateful you guys have stuck around. The compliments on this comic – my art, the story, literally everything – mean everything to me. I hope you guys like the Tag Team synopsis when I post it.

Tumblr media
Next up, a Sans deleted scene...?
Tumblr media
Cool! Let's see it then!
Tumblr media Tumblr media

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Toby Fox, is this meant to be a freaking Sans Undertale speedrun killer????
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It freaking is adhsgdhwg Toby you sly dog 😂😂😂 I love this
And now, the Papyrus interview, which needs to be documented for posterity and preserved forever gfhdjfhssbd I love it so much
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's so precious I love himmmmmm I'd die for him😭
Tumblr media
Well, that was freaking adorable, but also Papytton confirmed?? Papyblook perhaps?? Pan Papyrus?? /hj
Tumblr media
These two have such wonderful sibling energy, I love them so much TT^TT
Wait, this last one...
Tumblr media
Wait a second...
There's no such thing as green grass anywhere in Undertale's underground that's habitable. The seagrass in Waterfall is dark blue
Tumblr media
And I don't remember seeing any other grass anywhere else. Not in the Ruins, and definitely not in Snowdin or Hotland! The only place there's any grass at all is Asgore's throne room, but they couldn't have been living there!!! That's a single room without any living space!
Sans Undertale, get back here and answer the question! What are you hiding?? Is this confirmation for the "Sans and Papyrus originally came from Deltarune" theory??? He can't keep getting away with this!!!

Hi! I have been assuming that in the BF TTS AU the dragon episode of TTS gets deleted entirely as dragons aren't as depicted in TTS with HTTYD as part of the universe but also dragons ain't no thang with Toothy around. (And lets face it, that was a bad episode anyway, except for the images of Punzie on a dragon, that gives my little Hiccunzel shipper heart life) So do you have any ideas for a rewrite of that episode in the AU or are you just replacing it with BF centered shenanigans? Thank you, Sincerely, a devoted fan
I read a summary of the episode because I had completely forgotten about Little Big Guy's transformation ability, which wouldn't exist in this version (it's not relevant to the story anyway)
I'd keep the episode and have Pascal keep the secret initially, then everyone finds out and they try teaching the dragon how to fly. Hiccup would give some important tips and suggest that Rapunzel could ride the dragon so he doesn't get scared (and we get more flying scenes! And Hiccup and Toothless would join!)
The "Nigel is afraid of dragons" could also stay, if we make it so he's traumatized specifically by this species, since he'd have already seen Toothless by now.
Also, on an unrelated note, Toothless and Pascal become besties immediately after Pascal imitates Tooth's color upon meeting him :)

looking for a lost fic!!
I have vivid memories of reading this fic a couple weeks ago before my comp updated on me and have not found it since.
fandom: stranger things
steddie
usage of things like 'side a, track 1: XX' etc. for scene changes
eddie makes steve a mixtape that they listen to in chpt 1 and then it forms the backbone of the rest of the fic
the title is smth like 'The Best Part About Me Is That I'm The B-Side To You' but I searched it and couldn't find it?
Atp I'm starting to think it's been deleted TT
I can't remember if it's a non-canon one, but if it is set in the canonverse then it's def a canon divergence
they go to skull rock sometimes
the other characters are also around
I think there's some shenanigans for them being friends before '86?
hngh I can't remember how much I liked it but I wasn't able to finish it and there's a thread there that was inspiring something!! I would really really appreciate it if anyone had any pointers for me.

“Go in… or go back.”
“I can’t go back.”
Tumblr media
Alright, we’re heading off into Shelob’s lair. In the books, this takes place in the Two Towers, but I will defend its movement into RotK because they did it so that the time line would be correct. Because of the way Tolkien structures the books, Frodo and Sam’s story in TT actually went beyond where Aragorn’s did, and trying to keep it in that movie would have put Shelob at the same time as Helm’s Deep, which isn’t correct.
(This is subsequently the reason that Faramir’s character got butchered and why Frodo and Sam got diverted to Osgiliath: because by trying to retain the correct timeline, they also removed the major Frodo and Sam plot line for that movie, therefore drama had to be added in.)
Supper is a little late because I wasn’t hungry yet. But I’ve got room for a last little munch of the day, so it’s more brie and another spinach ball, plus I grabbed triscuits and strawberry jelly. (I wanted something sweet but didn’t have anything, so this’ll work.)
I’ll check back in with my thoughts on “For Frodo” and the deleted scene of Aragorn and the Palantir.

Why would somebody ever cancel an episode for being "too good" come on, that the goal! To make amazing episodes!
For starters, it wasn't cancelled. It's very important that you and everyone understand that we weren't robbed of this episode because it never got off the ground. People throw the world "cancelled" around when what they mean is "rejected," but they mean two very different things. The only cancelled episode that I'm aware of is "The Trial of Fitzherbert and Schnitz," because it was greenlit and worked on, but they just couldn't make it work well enough to proceed past the writing phase. That is the only episode that I saw shelved behind the executive producer's desk instead of on the bookshelf in the middle of the room where anyone could grab the story and look at it.
And the reason this episode was rejected for being "too good" was that it was tentpole episode material, but didn't fit into the main storyline. It would require more than 22 minutes to be done properly, and they didn't have that kind of time to dedicate to something that wasn't moving the plot forward.

LOTR themed tag game! Reblog with your own answers and tag three or more people you want to get to know better!
--
thank you @anythingbyadriannelenker for tagging me!!!
How old were you when you read/watched LOTR for the first time? I fr only started reading the books last year after first watching the films and I still haven't finished them 💔 I read The Hobbit in 7th grade though. It's where I first encountered the world 'paraphernalia'.
Favorite LOTR character? Choosing one seems impossible so Sam/Pippin/Arwen (all the hobbits tbh like I kind of moderately zone out when they're not on screen oops)
Books or movies? Both have their strengths! I prefer the book version of several characters (Legolas, Merry, etc) but the films have this essence to them that hasn't quite been replicated in the 20+ years since and that's quite a feat imo.
Favorite movie? Tempted to say Fellowship solely bc it's the only time we see the hobbits fully happy and un-traumatized lmao, but Two Towers is always so overlooked so I'd say that's my true favorite.
Which location in Middle Earth would you most like to visit? Visit and live are two different questions sooo Lothlorien <3
Favorite scene? It's a solid tie between Pippin's song, Sam's speech at the end of TT, and Eowyn killing the Witch King<3 (OH AND THE DELETED WOOD ELVES SCENE 💕💗💕💞💕 SO BITTERSWEET)
Favorite quote? Another tie between three lol
"Don't go where I can't follow."
"If you want him, COME AND CLAIM HIM"
"I haven't been dropping no eaves sir, honest!"
What Middle Earth race would you want to be?Hobbit. Read the bio people.
Favorite ship if you have one? I truly only gaf about Samfro come on now.
This was so fun hehe so glad to share this vital information. I tag @ancientbread @gonzocoded and literally anyone who wants to do it<333

About Extended cut:
I think they might release it like the Lionsgate's official TT account is teasing about it, also they're not releasing deleted scenes and also Nina even if she said that there's no plan to release the extended version she liked this post: (https://twitter.com/SacTributos/status/1735384211270582459?t=zEXRaMZL_mAUoQfCEjQKtA&s=19)
Thank you dear sleuth-anon!!!
Maybe we can get more Snowjanus contentttttt
I think the strongest piece of evidence is the fact that no deleted scenes have been released, because it might be that they're included in an extended cut and releasing them elsewhere would damage future sales. . . .

i like ana as a cuban myself and im glad she's making it, but she's been doing the most with the promotion of that film. oates was obsessed with sexual abuse and would romanticize it to hell and back and this is all so disrespectful. marilyn will never be left alone and she's dead. it's disgusting how she was never a person but a product and continues to be
ana's comments have been annoyingly tone deaf, but my issues are far more with the director, whose comments i find abhorrent, and the producers (amongst them br*d p*tt), and, netflix itself at this point (there was a report that netflix was "absolutely horrified" by the final cut - okay? you're the distributors, you can make the decision here), and the fact that for every woman online discussing this with deep concerns, or talking about being horribly triggered by it, or trying to defend and uphold marilyn's true memory, there are men replying, at best, "it's ~art~, you just don't get it," or at WORST (and i have seen this over and over again, i deleted my post about it the other night, but it's disgusting and deeply telling), openly excited at seeing the graphic r*pe scenes and the degradation threaded throughout the film, down to comments where they're replying with their whole chests that they can't wait to get off to it, down to the dude i saw who, when in response to a woman asking what is wrong with him that he wants to see marilyn fictionally assaulted, he said, "it's not about seeing marilyn being r*ped, it's about seeing ana de armas as marilyn being r*ped." they have no shame and no compunction about saying this aloud. and no doubt a lot of it is about titillation over marilyn herself, but marilyn has now been gone for so long and is so mythologized and commodified that she's no longer a real person, she's only a poster of a white skirt blowing in the subway breeze, she's only a body. it's been sixty years, and you'd think somehow she'd be treated more carefully and respectfully at some point.
it negates her humanity, her talent, and the reality of her abuse (why are we adding heinous fictional abuse onto the life of a woman who WAS subjected to abuse and hurt and objectification across her short life?). i have no idea if the film even touches on the medical trauma she endured, for example, both physical (particularly in regards to her endometriosis) and mental (and what she was subjected to during her forced hospital stay), but i know there's a depiction of a talking fetus, so that tells me enough. oates is someone i have countless issues with anyway, and blonde is neither the first nor the last time she fictionalized real life events in the most traumatic way possible with no respect for the victims. you're right, she seems to have a fixation on this topic.
what breaks my heart is i know this story reduces marilyn to a shell, a broken doll, the helpless dumb blonde beauty who was exploited and used by men for their pleasure, devoid of self-respect, desperate to be loved, dragging herself towards her tragic end, and that's not who she was. that's the boilerplate version that was sold of her. she was a sensitive, thoughtful, savvy woman; she was well-read, she was ambitious (do they even bother to mention her production company? her progressive politics? her wry humor? her extensive library? do they touch on, as the post i reblogged mentioned, her conversion to judaism and her studies?), she longed to be appreciated for her talent and not her physical form, she tried to improve and grow, and yes, she did yearn for love and belonging and a family and motherhood after an upbringing of neglect and abuse, but degrading and exploiting her further isn't the way to examine that or get it across. and idc how often they say this is a highly fictionalized account, plenty of people will watch it not knowing that, and take it as some semblance of fact (this happens with biopics all the time), and it's a disgrace to her legacy. i try not to be a proponent of saying certain art/stories within reason shouldn't exist, but there was no defensible argument for this to be made. marilyn is never allowed to be seen as a whole person. marilyn is never allowed to rest. exactly as you said, she's used as nothing but a product. this was her worst fear. she said, "i hope they don't do that to me after i'm gone." she deserves to be remembered as a person. she deserved better then, she unquestionably deserves better now.
not to give credit to arthur miller, but he said, "to have survived, she would have had to be either more cynical or even further from reality than she was. instead, she was a poet on a street corner trying to recite to a crowd pulling at her clothes." they're still pulling at her clothes, at this point they're digging at her grave.
but let's ultimately look at marilyn's words, the real things she left us to consider, which matter most. she left us her films, her luminous image, but she also left us her poetry and written accounts of her life and interviews that are far more fascinating and relevant than any gratiuitous fiction could ever be.
marilyn said, in an interview given just before her death: "I never wanted to be Marilyn—it just happened. Marilyn’s like a veil I wear over Norma Jeane...I can always find Marilyn in the mirror."
"it's still about nudity. is that all I'm good for?"
"But when you're famous you kind of run into human nature in a raw kind of way. It stirs up envy, fame does. People you run into feel that, well, who is she, who does she think she is, Marilyn Monroe? They feel fame gives them some kind of privilege to walk up to you and say anything to you, you know, of any kind of nature and it won't hurt your feelings. Like it's happening to your clothing. One time here I am looking for a home to buy and I stopped at this place. A man came out and was very pleasant and cheerful, and said, "Oh, just a moment, I want my wife to meet you." Well, she came out and said, "Will you please get off the premises?" You're always running into people's unconscious...Usually they don't say it to me, they say it to the newspapers because that's a bigger play. You know, if they're only insulting me to my face that doesn't make a big enough play because all I have to say is, "See you around, like never." But if it's in the newspapers, it's coast-to-coast and all around the world. I don't understand why people aren't a little more generous with each other."
"It's nice to be included in people's fantasies, but you also like to be accepted for your own sake. I don't look at myself as a commodity, but I'm sure a lot of people have."
"It was the creative part that kept me going, trying to be an actress. I enjoy acting when you really hit it right. And I guess I've always had too much fantasy to be only a housewife. Well, also, I had to eat. I was never kept, to be blunt about it; I always kept myself. I have always had a pride in the fact that I was my own."
"I'm one of the world's most self-conscious people. I really have to struggle. An actor is not a machine, no matter how much they want to say you are. Creativity has got to start with humanity and when you're a human being, you feel, you suffer."
"There is a need for aloneness, which I don't think most people realize for an actor. It's almost having certain kinds of secrets for yourself that you'll let the whole world in on only for a moment, when you're acting. But everybody is always tugging at you. They'd all like sort of a chunk of you."
"I think that when you are famous every weakness is exaggerated. This industry should behave like a mother whose child has just run out in front of a car. But instead of clasping the child to them, they start punishing the child."
"Fame has a special burden, which I might as well state here and now. I don't mind being burdened with being glamorous and sexual. But what goes with it can be a burden."
"I never quite understood it, this sex symbol. I always thought symbols were those things you clash together! That's the trouble, a sex symbol becomes a thing. I just hate to be a thing."
"I don't think people will turn against me, at least not by themselves. I like people. The "public" scares me, but people I trust. Maybe they can be impressed by the press or when a studio starts sending out all kinds of stories. But I think when people go to see a movie, they judge for themselves. We human beings are strange creatures and still reserve the right to think for ourselves."
"It might be a kind of relief to be finished. You have to start all over again. But I believe you're always as good as your potential. I now live in my work and in a few relationships with the few people I can really count on. Fame will go by, and, so long, I've had you fame. If it goes by, I've always known it was fickle. So at least it's something I experienced, but that's not where I live."

My Toilet Toucher Headcanon Masterlist
Well to keep it short and sweet, I actually think that the TT isn’t actually from that far into the future from where Billy is now— I think he’s more accurately from the recent past… To be less short and sweet—
It got really long so, everything’s below the cut! Minus some pictures, have some.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
General Powers / History HCs
(I mention canon in this but I do consider canon to be nebulous, so just consider it the building blocks of my arguments so nothing sounds like it’s coming out of nowhere <3)
I actually think that the TT isn’t actually from that far into the future from where Billy is now— I think he’s more accurately from the recent past. This is largely because of a few reasons, not least of which being that the Toilet Toucher is also Ghost’s uncle Ernie, meaning Ghost had to either see pictures of or meet him in the past. This is further backed up by the TT saying that Johnny Roast was his favorite member of PIE— a member of PIE in its early days, and one who had long since been uninvolved since the TT suddenly arrived on the scene. In fact, by the time the TT first appeared, there’s a chance that Roast had been perma-dead for years, depending on how you interpret canon. I think he found a way to travel through time using a similar power to the one he uses to travel through space (cough, touching the toilets… also possibly butts? Yeah I dunno how canon that second one is.) and I think both are just further expansions of powers Billy already has. We possibly see Billy use this power at the end of the ~Sally’s First Day Of High School~ video or whatever it’s called…
Basically, Billy is working for Darth Calculus, who tells him to wipe Sally’s memory and have the pair of them move into the Acachalla family to study their behavior so DC could figure out how actual families are supposed to work or something, an event that happens entirely off-screen but from what we can hear, something goes wrong and Billy is the one who’s memory is erased. However, while I know for a fact that the memory-wiping thing is a device, the pair are also immediately teleported away. This may have been through a portal, but I can’t remember if they state the method of transportation, so there’s a chance however Billy and Sally left that place was through the same method as the TT’s time and space travel… things. This actually isn’t the first time we hear DC being directly associated with portals, but now that I think about it, it is only really for a period of time around when Billy might’ve been working for him, so maybe the TT can do long-distance space travel with portals?
There was a time where I thought the TT came from the Billion-Year-War timeline, up until he started appearing in videos after the war was prevented, largely because Billy is completely gone and unmentioned after the war starts, despite being present when it first begins. He shows up at the end of the finale, meaning he was on the island with Sally, Papa, and (Action) Charlie (the Last Hope for Humanity During the Billion Year War Who Will Save Us All from Ourselves… Keller (<- HC surname)) when it all started. Because no one was coming back at all during the BYW, that does imply that Billy is straight-up gone in this universe, and the lack of TT, who can also do respawns, does imply that he either disappeared in a way that prevented the TT from coming back, or the TT just bailed… or was captured…? I do think traveling through large periods of time and space can affect his memory really badly and make him forget things, including his own identity and powers, but I also think that he hasn’t done any major space/time traveling since remembering who he is, so he’d be recovering his memories over time.
While I like the idea that the TT was a result of BYW, I don’t think it’s the best use of his character. It’s not antithetical to any kind of canon, since BYW Toast is still around after the war ends and that means time travel in VT doesn’t delete people in paradoxes, but I think we can do more with it. The Toilet Toucher does not appear during the Billion Year War arc at all, he is not present even for flashbacks when we have people from the 13th dimension making cameos. If that really was the world-ending event that sent him back in time, we’re missing out by not having him present trying to stop the alien threat or reacting to it in some way. Whatever made him choose to leave the Acachallas, whether it was an accident, intentional, or some third unrelated option— I want it to be something that he can not only point out but react to. I think this can range from DC trying to get Billy back in a number of ways causing him to panic and run away (whether it be an attempted hostile takeover, the family being pursued and Billy realizing they’re only after him and deciding to leave so they’ll be safe, DC going directly to Papa claiming that Billy was only ever a spy for him— making papa feel betrayed and push Billy away, or a good old-fashioned trick— there’s a lot one can do with this.), to some kind of hostile invasion making him go back to try to fix things but going Too far back and forgetting what he was there to do (Prince Fang, perhaps?), or it legit just being an accident where he was just trying to replicate the powers he sees the TT use and screwed up. There’s a lot that could be done here.
… I think I have an idea as to how his powers work, and I hope it’s less complicated than I originally assumed it would be. From how I see it, the respawns and the space/time travel function on the same principles. Space and time are actually pretty similar to each other— as time is theorized to be the forth dimension, and space consists of the other three. It seems that Billy’s powers allow him to manipulate a person’s standing in these four dimensions… or specifically his own. I think that the way that TT is able to move through space is not the toilets themselves, but the plumbing, using the toilet as a door. Similarly, I think that bringing people back from the dead is just. Pulling someone away from a door. People have argued to think of wormholes as folding space and punching a hole through it, but who’s to say you can’t consider it like a door in a wall? In Billy’s case, the door is already there, he just needs to open it… and in the case of coming back from the dead, that might be him forcefully keeping the door open for everybody… or closed? Who knows in this case. Either way, Billy can more manipulate time than he can space, but I still consider it space/time manipulation. He just needs an ending to do it. It does make me question how much of a ghost he is, though. He might just be legit immortal—
Anyways, despite his… issues with the Acachallas (he is a ‘ghost’ that haunts them specifically but i can’t remember if he has any spite toward them), I don’t even think he needs to have some kind of actual problem with them. I don’t think he remembered he was Billy for awhile after meeting the family and Maddie, so there’s a chance he picked up resentment toward the Acachallas from the other ghosts in the area. It could also help to explain why he was less and less hostile toward them as time went on, he gained more memories and realized he didn’t hate them. This might also have to do with his time being Ernie Ghost, since I do think he parted with the OG PIE on bad terms (how else would the man have gotten locked in a solitary confinement pocket dimension?)— even if he doesn’t have any negative feelings toward the Acachallas, another family he was apart of betrayed or hurt him and it’s put him on edge while his memories are blurry.
I think he does have all the same powers that Billy has now, meaning he does have the ability to bring people back from the dead, he just frequently chooses not to use it because he’s kind of a cynical old man. Also he knows how to control his powers where Billy does not. Billy’s just here to have a good time and I love him for it.
Ok more normal things now.
General Headcanons
Friendships - Billy is incredibly extroverted and charismatic, making friends everywhere he goes and melting cold hearts… and I think that isn’t a trait he outgrew. TT doesn’t have any group that he specifically works with, but I also don’t think he has many enemies outside of ones he had a prior history with like PIE and the Acachallas. He’s mostly just drifting around for now, trying to get his bearings in the modern day, but he’ll accept company where he can find it and values friendship where he can find it. (He ran for president in a video once. Idk why he did that.) Because of his being labeled as a ghost, he has interacted with and befriended a good number of ghosts… not including Maxwell Acachalla. Even though neither of them can put their finger on it, both of them feel there’s something uncannily familiar about the other. He spends a lot of time just wandering around and seeing what he gets into next.
Health - He’s genuinely surprised when he realizes he’s still not a ghost of any kind, especially after having people who are supposed to know ghosts call him a ghost to his face. He doesn’t really have to take great care of himself because of his own powers, but he’s starting to go out of his way to take care of himself more because he’s realized that life is generally more enjoyable if you feel good while experiencing it. He wants to find himself and enjoy himself while he does it, whether that ends up being through committing mass crimes or finally settling down again. Yeah— respawns don’t make you immortal, they just make it harder to stay dead, and even with them it doesn’t make general pain, exhaustion, etc suddenly go away forever.
Lifestyle - It would take some convincing to get him to settle down. He was dubbed the Toilet Toucher while in prison soon after escaping borderline solitary confinement in a pocket dimension. I can’t imagine he’s someone who feels comfortable staying in one place for too long, and with the means to instantly travel into almost any building in the general area from a public bathroom, why would he ever need to get his own house, or even a car for that matter? He’s all but set. I think he’s trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life, and will overtime gravitate toward helping people who are sick and hurt. Even though he did use to live at this time, he experiences culture shock every time he takes part in a conversation with a normal person… He has an easier time talking to ghosts. He’s trying to figure out where he was before he time-traveled himself into prison, considering he wears a lab jacket everywhere but has no recollection of what science he could have studied to earn him it. He’s considered traveling, but he doesn’t tend to stay in far-away places for too long because he gets homesick.
Memory - I think the TT is a recovering amnesiac from three separate (major) occasions. From most to least recent; I think he lost his memory some time before he first appeared in the videos, chronologically some time between when Ghost accidentally released him from his solitary confinement pocket dimension and when he first appeared in a prison with no memories from before then. It’s very likely that there’s lost time between these two spaces where he did another bit of time travel, but whether he was traveling forward or backward or what could’ve happened between when he was freed and when he returned.. I’m not sure. Before that, I think he lost his memories after traveling backward in time from the Acachallas, which is why he had his name changed to Ernie. Finally, I mentioned this earlier, but he lost his memories right before joining the Acachallas. It wasn’t as severe as the other two times, as he at least remembered his first name, but he didn’t care enough to think about it anyways. Which. Valid. As a result of this, a lot of his memories are blurred together and he has a bit of a hard time remembering who did what when and why, sometimes even making it difficult for him to remember whose side he’s on sometimes. Memories from before he was an Acachalla need to be drilled back into his head, while memories from when he was apart of Early PIE are the easiest for him to recall and tend to blur with older memories as a result. Being able to witness his time as an Acachalla is doing wonders at giving him back memories from this period of his life.
How I use TT in relation to other Characters
This is mostly going to be focusing on character relationships held by the TT, but also important relationships held by Ernie Ghost in the creation of the TT. I think that Billy’s relationships are wholly his own to consider, unless stated otherwise, and don’t need to add on to this. However, Ghost practically states that whoever he knew as his uncle (Ernie) was the TT, either he was in some middle ground where he was approaching that period of his life, or he started being the TT at the same time he was Ghost’s uncle so,,, even with the memory loss, it’s instrumental to consider imo.
- Cardboard Friend -
This is only one of many ideas I have for the origins of CBF, but the one most relevant to this would be that the creation of CBF was the first step into making Ernie Ghost into the TT. The way I see it, Billy has the power to bring inanimate things to life— whether that just be him bringing inanimate objects to life on his own or him being able to sense restless souls tied to inanimate objects and bring them out. I think he may be able to bring things to life with more awareness than the ones we’ve seen, but I think it depends on who/what they’re brought to life for.
~ Watermelon Friend was created by Billy when he was a child, and though it was manipulative and terrifying in the end, it did come off like an imaginary friend until the danger was realized. If memory serves, this is largely because no one could hear melon friend outside of Billy. It is also worth noting Melon Friend was likely related to DC in some way, but moving on…
~ Penguin Friend was made when Billy was older and in a house full of siblings and conflict (not in a bad way ofc), and Penguin Friend is very familiar to Maddie-Friend in that it was stringently loyal to Billy and could get somewhat aggressive with anything that got in the way of that. I think that Penguin Friend is the biggest example of this theory, its originals are the most unknown and its reactions are the most familiar.
~ Maddie Friend doesn’t count I’ll explain later.
Cardboard Friend would be another one of these made for Gregory to have as an imaginary friend at a time when he was distressed in some way while Ernie was meant to be babysitting him. Likely during a move between houses, thus the Cardboard… and maybe even the kidnapping. In creating CBF, Ernie put Gregory in danger and possibly got T.Casket killed. During this time, OG PIE is growing more and more untrusting of the paranormal, and a fault in the old systems of early PIE makes every paranormal entity classified as a ghost of some kind, even if they’re just someone with powers. After witnessing a lot of pain and suffering from ghosts in general, and the leftover trauma Ghost got from his time with CBF, whoever is in charge of OG PIE makes the executive decision that Ernie is either a weak link or an instigator of some kind and needs to be removed from the equation for the safety of others… Because he created CBF.
Whether this is the idea of a surviving T.Casket who feels the creation of CBF was an active attack, or the idea of a disheartened JGS who only sees what harm Ernie caused to his newly adopted child and not that it might have been an accident… I dunno yet. because of all this, CBF could see TT as a father or uncle figure, depending on how married it is to the idea that Gregory is his brother. If CBF finds out Ghost considers Ernie an uncle (since Ernie didn’t have any familial relation to T.Casket in my canon stuff, Ghost wouldn’t start calling Ernie his uncle until after getting adopted), it might change its song from siblings to cousins.
- Darth Calculus -
I don’t think TT has any reason to remember DC unless DC reaches out to him first, and even so in doing that it’ll give him a massive headache to try to recall. That’s three bouts of amnesia worth of buried memories to try to work through in order to really recall who this man is, and who’s to say that he’ll even like DC once he remembers? Billy liked him when he was little, but he’s had a lifetime’s worth of experiences between then and now, experiences that could include learning that DC basically kidnapped him after killing his birth family way back before he was taken in by him, something he was never aware of.
Considering Billy’s powers, I could see DC risking the possible hatred to try to get the TT on his side for his power, but it’s anyone’s guess as to whether that would go well. I do think that without the shared history, DC would probably be able to convince TT to his side for various reasons… not least of which being him being generally annoyed by PIE before knowing what their deal is, but also DC could offer him a job and stuff. I can’t imagine he kept it for very long, but it’s a job.
- Johnny Ghost -
The TT isn’t sure how to feel about Johnny Ghost, specifically because he’s so much like his adopted father, but also so much like the kid he remembers being his nephew. It’s complicated. Long story short: his feelings toward Ghost is muddled with family issues. More about those family issues below…
- Johnny Ghost (Senior) -
JGS and Ernie used to be borderline inseparable, brothers against the world, but things started going downhill when T.Casket died. They originally joined PIE with open minds and curiosity toward the supernatural, but differing experiences has led to the pair growing differing conclusions toward the paranormal. Ernie was frequently given special attention by ghosts who recognized him as also being supernatural and came to appreciate them as people, JGS kept losing friend after friend to the paranormal, culminating in not one but THREE different kids of varying ages getting severely hurt or DYING (gregory, kat, goober in that order— maybe even Ronnie Boast if JGS lived to see it or Toast if he was open about why he was in the states) because they were seemingly targeted by a paranormal entity. Chakalata being one of those paranormal entities was a breaking point for JGS (he was like the first ghost to actually communicate with them, and the first one T.Casket actually considered a friend), and when he found out Ernie created one of the other ones, even if it was an accident… the realization caused irreversible damage to their relationship. And thus; Ernie got banished for the “safety of everybody”.
That’s just one of many ways Ernie could’ve gotten banished, and this actually contradicts another hc I like about how JGS died… but I’ll figure out how I can make them both work someday! I think his issues with this incident can explain why he’s bitter toward characters he otherwise should consider family, since his last memory of a family member is a borderline betrayal.
- Maddie-Friend -
Maddie is curious about TT like a cat being introduced to a large fern for the first time, and the TT isn’t sure how to feel about her. Since there’s no order on what memories he can get back first, he both remembers playing and training with her when they were both kids under DC, but also his first time meeting her in a movie theater after moving in with the Acachallas. The two just need a couple heart-to-hearts to work everything out. Maddie wants to ask him if he ever recovered his first memories, but that’s kind of a hard question to ask an amnesiac. He thinks of her fondly, though, like a much younger sister he hasn’t seen in awhile. He thinks her antics chasing him around are pretty funny, though he does get uncomfortable when she turns violent.
- Maxwell Acachalla -
(All my own HCs) Maxwell and TT are kinda awkward around each other just because. They both kind of remind each other of things they don’t want to think about.
Billy impulsively brought Maxwell back from the dead, one of the only times he ever tried doing it on purpose, accidentally forcing Maxwell to be stuck as a ghost. He finds the reasoning dumb in hindsight, and he feels bad that he killed Spencer to do, it too (that part was less impulse, more that Spencer was really frustrating at the time and Billy needed a sacrifice. He didn’t think it’d matter since… ~back from the dead~ and all that, but Spencer was taken by surprise and holds grudges). Maxwell’s existence is kind of a reminder of all of that, like an uncomfortable trigger for his memory.
Maxwell and Billy look a lot alike when Billy is living with the Acachallas, and Billy was definitely the kid Papa felt the most kinship toward early on (possibly because Billy looked like his dead cousin coughcoUgHcOUGH—). So, Maxwell grew to recognize the similarities between himself and Billy, not just visually but as people… and TT is a prime example of who Maxwell could be if he had gotten to really life his life. Especially if the two ever interact without family or paranormal problems as a buffer… This is part of the reason why I like hc’ing Maxwell as being about 16-17 when he died tbh. Ig im big into ~Drama~ ^^;
However, the two are still technically family, so being frequently paired together has managed to get them to a point where they can actually interact with each other without feeling uncomfortable.
- Papa Acachalla -
(All my own HCs) The TT incredibly unsettled Papa and has a spotlight in his nightmares. Not because of anything specifically that the TT has done, but solely because the TT is proof that Papa fucks this one up too. He was originally uncomfortable with growing close with Billy because of what happened to Maxwell. Similarly to Billy, Maxwell looked up to Papa and saw him as a role model to follow, and in doing so it got him killed, and now Maxwell hates him and wants him dead. Papa was originally on edge about Billy, but was slowly beginning to think this one might be different the more the Acachalla family became… well, a family. However, unlike Maxwell— who died young— Billy lives a long, long time… and still comes back around to hating Papa. It’s like a cruel twist of fate, and even the idea that somehow he managed to screw this one over too made Papa pull away from the entire family again for awhile after the TT admitted to Billy they were the same person. TT isn’t sure how he feels about Papa. Something in the back of his head is convinced that Papa did or will do something wrong at some point, but he can’t put his finger on what or when, or how important it all really is. He tries not to think about it. So… he matches the energy of the people around him, and just chooses to be aggressive rather than figure out what’s actually going on.
Rapid Fire
I really want him to keep the wings, but I’m not sure how I want to take the aesthetic yet. I usually take Billy in the direction of angel imagery, so for the TT i can either stick with angel imagery, move up to ARCHangel imagery or something more “biblically accurate”— or I could move waaaay down to FALLEN angel imagery.
He was taken into the Ghost family after being found soon after traveling through time for likely the first time, completely disoriented and with no memories. They took him in, and they started seeing him as family. Whether this is because he married in or because he was adopted in, I have yet to decide, but I think both are interesting in their own right.
Something about him being a Smigglebug (which I see as some kind of magic family) is important in some way, and likely has something to do with some part of his powers. However, since Sue is also a Smigglebug (even if from another universe), whatever this is for Billy it should be for Sue as well.
Additionally, the TT does not know what a Smigglebug is, nor that he is one of them. He’d just assume you’re talking nonsense.
He has accidentally committed tax evasion. He also doesn’t know it yet because he kind of forgot how that whole system works, especially in the modern day.
I think waffles are a bit of a comfort food for him before he starts to recover his memory because it’s vaguely familiar.
Might be related in some way to Dark Pit (founding member of early PIE)/Agent Angel (one-off character I latched onto for no reason), considered making Ernie Ghost his dad and saying Ghost and DP/AA are cousins, but that means saying that the TT settled down and had a FAMILY for a little while and I dunno how I feel about that.
With this in mind, Roast is the TT’s favorite PIE member because Roast was actually friends with DP. Long story short, DP and Roast were the oldest members of the team by a couple years, so they mostly just acted as overseers for the chaos, so Ernie came to respect that in what is possibly his son’s friend.
Alt is that Ernie liked Roast’s more… ruthless ideas on how to handle ghosts, I’m not sure yet but it does worry me.
He is a genuinely good leader. He listens to people when they express discontent and he listens to people and learns about them. The downside is that he isn’t much of a team player, and this mostly winds up being used against people.
Depending on how open he is about being related to Johnny Ghost, he’s likely been approached by the DIE team before. Either that or they’re trying to approach him, I imagine he’s incredibly hard to track down and find.
Songs and Why
- Hymn to a Scarecrow by Tally Hall
It’s a soft song that feels like it hits home the general vibe I feel about the TT’s character, I sometimes picture it as Maddie-Friend observing her friend from the future and trying to figure out who he is now.
- Community Gardens by The Scary Jokes
The TT is considered to be a monster of some kind, and I think this is the kind of energy he’d have while trying to acknowledge it… while trying to give Billy advice on how not to end up like him.
- Godspeed by Shayfer James?
I think it needs to be considered in a specific way but yeah, I could see it. Man is allowed to set some boundaries, as a treat.
- Falling Up by Will Wood?
It’s four am and i think i just popped a blood vessel in my eye I can’t explain this rn nor can i remember my reasoning jghfdshfgkds

Ive been out of the loop can you give like a quick rundown of whats been going on with the stuff behind the scenes?
quickest i can do, i'll probably forget some things:
thell "transfers" ownership of mxrp to someone called "AKI". no one other than thell has any idea who this person is or how to contact them
thell has Some Type of falling out with cherp, seems to be due to sexually harassing another cherp staff member
someone called "evelyn" appears from nowhere at this very convenient time, allegedly developing a cherp clone called rpbin. thell backs them, "helping" them with the site and getting in a public and very petty (on thell's end) argument with TT (cherp admin)
evelyn deletes the rpbin discord less than a day after making it after being publicly owned by pretty much everybody
AKI announces mxrp will allegedly be acquiring rpbin's (unfinished, unseen???) code to implement cherp-style reforms on mxrp
the convenience of all of these coincidences leads to a bunch of wild speculation, later all but confirmed, that AKI, evelyn, and even insolent were all just thell sockpuppets
this is bolstered after AKI "quits" mxrp and immediately transfers it back to thell, despite thell allegedly having nothing to do with mxrp anymore legally or financially
this is further bolstered when thell is pressed to post even a single DM interaction with insolent, refuses, and accuses the person asking of doxxing for that simple and very easy to fulfill request
mxrp 2 is repeatedly delayed/cancelled/whatever amid all of this, with thell coasting on the patreon money, adding characters from new fandoms (after, what, three years of promising this?), banning people for venting to each other in private or for making fun of thell or mxrp, and just being a general toxic asshat. notably, thell doesn't use any of the established social media accounts to post updates, only rarely posting them on the patreon. most often, he uses... some... random smut-focused discord server, run by... some... random guy. makes a lot of sense
also, TT paid thell to send them a server and thell never sent it. thell was publicly asked by a shitload of people when he planned on sending the server and would mysteriously stop responding to anything until a few hours or whatever had passed since the questions. he later appeared with some narrative about how TT had only paid for half of the server, but given it's thell and all he does is lie, who's to believe that?
that's all i can remember rn. covid brain :( if i missed anything, feel free to reblog/reply/submit/whatever and i'll post it lol
