So in season 3 episode 2, Klaus tells Five that the time he broke in and found the check record for his mom was in the late 2000s when Amy Winehouse was at the top of the charts. Amy Winehouse made the top 10 chart in June 2007. That means at that point Klaus was approximately 17 years and 8 going on 9 months old.

Now we know that Ben died at 17 and his funeral took place when it was snowing putting us in winter-ish time. So the funeral must’ve taken place between late 2006-early 2007.

The point is a lot of shit must’ve happened in only few months for him to go from this to this in such a short amount of time.

Oh but the writers do remember Viktor’s trauma, in fact, they won’t shut up about it.
