I was going to talk about emotional engagement, and all of those complexities, but then I saw an ad on YT for clothing, and all I could think about was how Kafka is absolutely the type to wear light-colored, high waist trousers, and it'd be perfect. One doesn't just wear high waist things, especially not light-colored because that can highlight all the wrong things, but for her, it highlights all the right things. An utterly refined woman she is, with a good sense of style. And yet, it shouldn't be confused with an inherent craving for deep luxury of any kind.

Obey Me! Inspired Outfits: Simeon

Now, for our lovely Simeon ^w^ I almost immediately knew the look I wanted to put together based on this angel, inspired by a couple of his specific outfits (images below, from the wiki)

Included:

Sheer white blouse with satin detailing

Beige trousers

Black braided belt

Like with Luke's look, some beige oxfords would probably be a nice shoe to wear with this outfit, or black and white saddle shoes. I could probably have added a bit of gold jewellery, and maybe a black jacket or something similar (since Simeon's outfits do often have a pretty prominent element of black or another dark colour included), but I think that the neckline and other light colours, as well as the black belt, reflect his style fairly well.

Linen shirt progress

A while back, I decided to get some linen and make a fancy shirt! Hopefully it can be wearable in more formal/business situations, so I'm taking my time to make it well-constructed and pretty.

Also, It's a very soothing making process! It may not be as much physical good as the exercise I do, but it helps my mind slow and sort through things in a healthier way.

Anywho, I did the shoulder seams, realized I did it wrong, and redid them with the neck gussets as I meant to do in the first place. But somehow it was fun, and the mistake was easy to reverse.

Slow and steady wins the race, baby!

Back when Xmen: Evolution first aired, I thought Kurt's civvies were really stupid; who tucks their shirt into their boxers? What a weird design decision, right? Except now I am trying to draw Kurt hanging upside down and it makes so much sense. His shirt doesn't bag or fall down towards his face when it's tucked in.
