I just feel these three have potential and there’s no way Gene will end up in a conventional relationship.

Might get hate but I preferred this over the Rey x Kylo ship, this just makes my heart melt.

5. Scooby Gang (Not Scooby himself)

This goes without saying; each one of these characters as chemistry with each other and it’s the 70’s.

Who here has seen "The Road to El Dorado?"

Keep reading. You need to know this. Watch it if you need to understand.

But at the end of the movie, the main characters , Miguel, Tulio, and, Chel, abandon their homes to adventure together. They give up gold and luxury so have a life together.

So I always shipped them a lot... I figured all the proof was the famous quote. "Both? Both? Both. Both is good." And I associated it with Tulio and Miguel both being bisexual and polyamorous.

Well as it turns out, the original script was supposed to have them as open gay lovers... Dreamworks originally wanted them to be an actual couple!! It got scrapped but we can agree they were fruity right? So they were still gay lovers but not open.

K so Chel did have that intimate relationship with Tulio that became a bond. She also had that thing with Miguel. I mean like, she kissed him. So...

Miguel x Tulio x Chel is canon and there's nobody who can stop it!

I just rewatched The Road to El Dorado and I'm proud to announce that Tulio and Miguel are undeniably Sirius and James variants; respectively.

Like, I want you all to take a good, long look at James and Sirius and tell me that these two wouldn't somehow manage to girlboss a bit too close to the sun and convince an entire culture that they're GODS. I will absolutely be using this in the future.

this is strange but i was thinking about lilypad + prongsfoot configuration and their dynamic reminded me of The Road to El Dorado and Miguel x Tulio x Chel from thereXD maybe it's Tulio's aesthetic, or maybe the way Tulio & Miguel have such perfect energy ... Anyway, just wanted to share wild association 😄

This WORKS.

James and Sirius are the same team! They created their world together and by god they are going to stick with each other no matter what. They've got the scam down perfectly and can lie beautifully when needed-- and yes, that includes accusing the other of being a cheat when they need to get out. They steal, they laugh, they get to be together all the time, so they have a grand old time out of life.

They tried having a third partner for a while. It rounded things out nicely, made the cons a bit smoother, but ultimately they didn't fit. That third person never really fit the way James and Sirius did, which made keeping them around too risky.

Enter Lily.

Within 2 minutes of meeting, she's on the run for stealing something from her village, comes up with a good lie for it that Sirius and James can back her on, she gets all 3 of them safely into the city, and she sets them up for a great con. Someone like that, who can slide right into position with them like she was always there, is invaluable.

Sirius has 2 hands, and each of them is to keep his partners from clawing each other's faces off. What can they say? James thinks he has a better claim to Sirius because they've been together forever, and Lily thinks that she's got the better claim to Sirius because hello?? he was looking??? They're still a great team while that mess is happening, but it's a happier time for all of them when they realize they don't have to be jealous-- and that Sirius can hold their hands instead of keeping them away from each other
