I do kind of feel a bit spoilt with how the fandom pre-pandemic would share my work easily (fics getting hundreds and even thousands of notes on tumblr and on AO3 immediately and arts getting thousands of notes too). Back then, my work was so eUGH compared to the work I create now which is so much more polished and well thought out.

And now? It’s such a struggle for my art to reach even a hundred notes on this app alone and my fics take a long time to accumulate some attention on ao3. At first I thought it was because my creations have gotten WORSE lol but then I realised it’s been happening to all my friends too online.

I've made basically this exact post before, but I'm genuinely begging white Americans on Tumblr to stop trying to perform allyship to people of color by acting like white people are a monolith, all colonizers and oppressors, and have no worthwhile culture beside mayonnaise based foodstuff.

Please realize that there are so many varied white ethnic groups with rich histories and cultures that are indigenous to the places in which they live, and many of those people are actively being oppressed, assimilated, and eliminated. Hi, I was wondering if you could help me find something. I know this blog is for fics, but I've lost a fanart I loved and I don't know how to go look for it again oops😅.

If you decide to help, it was a really popular mdzs digital painting, it had even featured in the tumblr header for the explore page on mobile. It was actually two separate pieces, one with lwj and one with wwx (novel features, not cql); both were holding a human skull (hamlet style). The colors were really piercing, luminous on the black background, and the lines were really sharp. I was pretty sure the artist was called honeyyiling, but I can't find them so maybe it was written differently or it was someone else? Idk.

A short fic about the C double U sniper/negotiator. Please be reminded this a work of fiction that did not have anything to do with real people. It was only an imagination of the author. With that being said, enjoy.

I was asleep when they called me that night. Grunting, I dragged my feet and answered the phone call. It took less than 2 minutes for them to debrief me on my next mission. After the phone call ends I make a pot of coffee before heading down to my computer. I logged in, and checked the trending page. And there they are, trending higher than the royal baby announcement. 

I had to give it to them, those so called hellers. They are persistent, eager, and loyal. But again, I’m better than them. Years of practice have made me efficient, I only need a name and general theme of what happened. Smirking, I sip my cup of coffee and went into research mode which usually consists of me going to the hellsite called tumblr where I know I can find the sources just by checking some blogs. It was easy actually. The usernames were always the same variance of that scene’s dialogue, names of the characters or actors from that tv show. After just a few clicks here and there, I found it.

Like I said, this ain’t my first rodeo. 

This time it wasn’t one of the main actors, instead it was some guy that had been in 5 episodes in the earlier seasons. He managed to gain thousands of followers in just a few days. Impressive. He knew the power of the hivemind and utilized it. Pity that the shenanigans need to end. But business is business. The executives didn’t like it, and it was up to me to do the dirty work.

I cleared my throat, rehearsing the same few lines that I’ve been using for quite some time, the same old one where you cannot get the job elsewhere if you continue this bla bla, the whatnot. Boring but it got the job done. A statement would be issued and people would get mad, but at the end of the day, it’s just words from angry fans. Compared to jobless, it was nothing he couldn't handle.  

I took a deep breath and picked up the phone and called his number. After a few rings, he answered.
