Hey yall!

I know I haven't been too active on here as of late but I've been thinking of becoming more active on here bc instagram basically is screwing over smaller creators with terribly functioning hastags (which are now practically useless).

I have a question though!

Has Tumblr made any significant changes to their engagement system whether that be through hashtags, reblogs or like to make things harder for small creators?

I hope not bc then all I would have left is Twitter and that site I know is unreliable.

I sort of liked it last year when Tumblr had a personalized year in review cause I enjoy stats lol. Knowing what post had the most notes and seeing how my fandoms changed was fun. But I haven't seen it this year. Did I miss it?

Hey Tumblr and lovely followers I have a question for you.

What is like, the "safe zone" of art with blood in it before it should be marked with warnings? I looked at the blood tag for reference and curiosity, and on one hand I saw untagged art showing full guts and stuff, but on the other hand I also saw minor scrapes with the filter on.

The thing I'm currently working on has a lot of blood and a huge wound w/o viscera or anything, but it's pretty stylized and cartoony. Would posting it with the "cw blood" be enough if there's nothing like, super realistic??

I've always been bad at determining when warnings should be used...

This is gonna sound like a stupid question but what are these notifs for??? They dont reset when i check my following, for you, or my tags. When i have Activity notifs, they go to the number of Activity notifs i have, but when i clear that, it goes back to this everincreasing number. What does this number mean !!!!!

Quick Tumblr Question.

I'm not sure what this Tumblr Live business is about? It's appeared at the top of my page and largely seems to full of ladies. They seem to be very happy ladies, except for some that are a bit pouty. I have nothing against these ladies, whether pouty or happy, but I'm not sure why they have suddenly appeared up there in their bras?

I don't think it can be based on my likes, as ladies in their underwear isn't really something I have any interest in? So either something has gone a bit strange with Tumblr's understanding of my interests or Tumblr Live is purely the domain of happy and/or pouty women in their smalls.

Is there a way of getting rid of it? I'm not offended by it, but I didn't ask for it, so I would prefer if it wasn't there. If it has to be there then is there any way of getting it to show something more relevant?

I’ve asked this question multiple times on tumblr and no one has answered me, so there just might not be an answer or anything I can do – but why does Tumblr look weird on Firefox.

Why do certain stylizations with the posts not correlate or show up on Firefox? I can’t even seem to change the spacing between paragraphs or at least not have those changed show up on Firefox.

I am trying to move from Chrome to Firefox, I am, I want to - but this is the one thing that keeps holding me back. I can’t look at certain pages, websites, or posts on Firefox for too long – it starts giving me a slight headache with the spacing or how the sites show up in general on Firefox and it’s really frustrating

I've been on tumblr a long time and although I rarely use tumblr how it's meant to be used I have recently started understanding why people do certain things on tumblr. My question is: why do people care so much about bots/porn bots following them? Maybe I use tumblr wrong but I don't notice much when people I don't know follow me. What's the thought behind blocking bots?

If you could wear ANYTHING in an isekai world where practicality meant nothing, your movement wouldn’t be hindered in any way, and you wouldn't have to worry about getting dirt on yourself bc your clothes magically stay clean, what would you want to wear?

I'd go for a pinstripe suit and aviator shades!
