The fact Franziska used to call Miles by just his first name just fine and only switched to ‘Miles Edgeworth’ later has some interesting implications. I think throughout Turnabout Reminiscence she alternates between "Miles Edgeworth" and just 'Miles'. "Miles Edgeworth' is primarily used when she's trying to be Dramatic, while 'Miles' is used more spontaneously.

So is the implication that she USED to address people like a Normal Person but around that time period she deliberately trained herself to use full-names only to like.... assert dominance or something?

Honestly, kind of impressed that Edgeworth stayed with it at all. Like, first time he’s called in, he doesn’t actually make it to trial because of a double homicide of the previous prosecutor and the defendant, and then the second time he does make it to trial but not to a verdict because the defendant killed himself. Like if I was in his shoes, I think after the third death I would be like “okay, so… I’m the common denominator here.” But instead he didn’t let the pile of bodies dissuade him and kept at it.

I played through the end of Turnabout Reminiscence last night and wow. That case and the story behind it was so good! I think it’s my favorite case in all of the first Investigations game so far.

I enjoyed all the interaction and banter between young Franziska and Edgeworth, I thought the side characters were interesting (especially Detective Tyrell Badd) and the case itself presented a really great closed room mystery.

Gumshoe having a part in Kay and Edgeworth's backstory was just the icing on the cake.

The twist at the end was fantastic too. I won't spoil it because it's something to be experienced.

Tonight I begin Turnabout Ablaze! I heard this case can be long (the word "slog" has been used) but I will see it through!

I look forward to seeing how everything gets wrapped up in the ending. 💖

Lol Phoenix and Miles had the same dream! What a funny little ga- oh wait Phoenix’s nightmare was a result of his feelings of guilt and uncertainty about his role as a lawyer. First due to Miles' ‘death’ and his supposed inability to save him and then Maya’s kidnapping and the moral turmoil of Engarde’s trial. Miles was, at the point of this flashback, just starting out his career as a prosecutor under Von Karma’s deeply immoral and ruthless philosophy. Clearly this nightmare shows us some of the repressed doubts he had about his path in life during-
