Tumblr media
daichi is whipped for you from the start
he doesn't show it (or he doesn't think he does) but he's attracted to you the second he lays eyes on you
he's extra sure to be polite to you, too embarrassed too show his brasher nature in case it scares you off
he loses his backbone whenever you're around
he needs to scold some of the first years for goofing off, but you're standing there? he's all sunshine and rainbows
when he finds out that you're a foreign exchange student, he's over the moon
he subtly finds out your classes from shoyo, who of course doesn't realize his intentions as he blurts out your schedule happily
he checks up on you often, making sure you're adjusting well to japan because "what kind of captain would he be if he let his underclassman's cousin have a hard time?"
the team is none the wiser, except for maybe koshi who sees through his shit immediately
he has a habit of patting your head as a greeting, even if he's just passing you in the hallways even if you complain about him messing up your hair
overall, he's super soft with you :)
sawamura daichi! was annoyed when he met you. shoyo hadn't shown up to practice and wasn't answering his phone, which left the captain ready to send the orange-haired freshman to an early grave. after kei made a smart remark that he saw shoyo lingering near the school entrance, he was on a mission to give the boy hell.
kei was right, of course. when daichi made his way to the entrance, he saw shoyo right away. he stomps over, lips parting to lecture the younger male about responsibilities when his eyes ghost over you. he stops short, shoyo's name barely dropping from his mouth as he pauses.
when you both turn to him, daichi feels his breath catch in his throat. it was clear that you weren't from around here. your odd sense of dress stuck out like a sore thumb—not to mention he had never seen you before. but if anything, he thought you were pretty.
"you're late for practice," daichi states lamely, barely managing to tear his gaze away from you to glower at shoyo. "i ought to put you on cleaning duty tonight."
the threat fell on deaf ears, shoyo's large grin unfaltering as he wraps an arm around your midsection in a tight hug. "captain! sorry, sorry," he apologizes, though the wide grin on his face told daichi he wasn't serious. "my cousin texted me that they were here, so i had to say hi!"
at his words, you finally snap out of your stupor, offering daichi a small smile. "i didn't realize he had practice. i wouldn't have called him out if i knew."
daichi presses his lips together, feeling his ears warm at your kind tone. "it's okay," he says softly. "i'll let him off for now. it's nice to meet you—i'm sawamura daichi."
when you introduce yourself, he finds himself repeating your name in his head.
"oi," he clears his throat, turning to shoyo with a deadpan expression. "c'mon. we're late enough already." daichi turns to bow his head at you politely, quickly turning around before you can see the warmth in his cheeks.
your sweet voice calls out a goodbye, and daichi decides then and there that he wants to get to know you better.
"hey, hey—why are you so red?"
"you're gonna shut up now if you want to go home early tonight."
Tumblr media
koshi didn't realize you were shoyo's cousin until after he got to know you a little
he couldn't help it—when he saw you he just thought you were super cute lmao
he fumbles a bit in front of you
he really really tries to be a cool, calm, and collected person but sometimes he embarrasses himself by saying odd things or staring at you a little too long
when he does figure out you're related to his underclassman, he takes the opportunity to get to know you better
and when he finds out you're in his homeroom? even better
the type to arrange study session together with you every weekend just to spend time with you
he actually invites you to watch their practices and games before shoyo does LOL
the whole team knows about his feelings and he doesn't even care, constantly throwing an arm over you shoulder and hanging around you during downtimes
wants to impress you, so he gives it his all (and then some) whenever you're there
his sets get more accurate and he even blocks more hits than he would've before
he really wants you to think he's cool
but if you compliment him, he's exploding on the spot
suguwara koshi! had no idea you were shoyo's cousin when he met you. you looked nothing alike and your personalities were completely different. despite you being a complete stranger, the lost look on your face amused him.
you met koshi when shoyo accidentally stranded you at the train station. you were supposed to take the same train to his house, but he didn't notice you weren't right behind him when he stepped into the train car. the last you saw of the tangerine-haired boy was the back of his head as the doors closed on you.
you were standing there in a panic, though no one stopped to check if you were okay. shoyo had you hold his schoolbag while he dragged your suitcase along, and when you tried calling his cellphone you heard it buzz in the bag that hung on your shoulder. for the life of you, you couldn't remember which stop to get off or which streets to take to get to his house.
"are you lost?" a gentle voice asks you, pulling you from your anxious thoughts.
your eyes meet and koshi can't help but think you're cute as hell. you look doe-eyed in your panic, rounded eyes and parted lips. when you don't answer right away, koshi's cool demeanor switches and he stumbles into an embarrassed frenzy. "wait, can you even understand japanese?"
thankfully, you do, having learned it from shoyo at a younger age. you blink away the remnants of your panic with a few hasty nods. "yes, sorry. my cousin accidentally left me here, and i don't really know how to get to his house..."
koshi calms down at your insistence, chuckling to himself. "do you know the address?"
you wince, "no."
"alright," he says in a way that he hopes is soothing for you. "i can keep you company while you wait for him to return, then. it'd probably be nicer than just standing here by yourself."
when you agree, he hides his smile. he asks you several icebreakers, such as your name and your favourite colour. with every passing second, he only thinks you're even cuter than when he first saw you.
eventually, shoyo does come back, panting and heaving as he runs up the stairs to the station platform. his bright eyes widen when he sees you together with koshi. "oh, sugawara? you've met my cousin?"
koshi meets your eyes with a grin. "i guess we'll be seeing each other more often."
Tumblr media
honestly asahi doesn't even acknowledge you when you first meet
he doesn't find out you're shoyo's cousin for weeks, so you're really just another classmate to him
you don't even talk to each other until like a month or so after you transferred
and even then, your conversations are short
he's polite to you when you work together, but he doesn't really try to become friends with you
don't get him wrong! he thinks you're nice and pretty, but he is too damn shy to initiate anything with you
you kinda think he hates you at first, but after you realize that he's just not an outgoing person you relax around him
when he does find out you're related to shoyo, you end up seeing each other more often out of class
you show up to more practices, even if you're just sitting on the benches doing homework
shoyo even drags you along whenever the team meets up outside of school to hang out
as a result, you and asahi eventually grow closer and he opens up more bit by bit
he doesn't actually start crushing on you until graduation nears
he realizes it when he hears you cheering his name at one of their bigger games
he thinks his name sounds prettier coming from you
he doesn't initiate any skinship with you, but he's always asking about your day and checking on you in his own ways
will absolutely combust if you even so much as brush pinkies as you're walking together
azumane asahi! first met you in class. like koshi, he doesn't know you're related to shoyo initially. when the teacher introduces you, making you write your name on the board, you don't have the same last name as shoyo. he doesn't really pay much attention to you, minding his own business as he takes out his notebook and pens.
several weeks pass and your homeroom teacher announces that you'll be partnering up for a group presentation. your first real conversation with him goes as expected—you exchange contact information and go your separate ways when the bell rings.
he thinks you're attractive, but he's too shy to actually act on those thoughts and he just pushes through the project, interacting with you as little as possible.
it's only when shoyo forgets his volleyball uniform at your house that asahi figures out you're related.
he sees you first, standing in the gym entrance while you wait to be invited in. you look hesitant as your eyes cast over the several members of the volleyball club, your gaze landing on asahi. when recognition flickers behind your eyes, he thinks you're there for him.
he opens his mouth to greet you, but before he can even utter a word, an orange blur runs past him. you're almost knocked on your ass as shoyo tackles you, excitedly calling out your name. "what're you doing here?" he asks you, tilting his head as he releases you from his death grip. "you never come to practice."
"you left your uniform at mine," you explain quietly, pulling the clothing out of your bag.
there's a moment of silence, before all hell breaks loose. the others scream and yell at shoyo, yuu and ryuunosuke shaking him by the shoulders as they demand why they weren't informed about his girlfriend.
even asahi's jaw drops at the thought of you, his classmate and group partner, dating shoyo, of all people.
"we aren't dating!" you exclaim, shaking your hands in front of you adamantly as disgust paints over your facial features. "we're cousins."
as the club eventually quiets down, you meet asahi's gaze over the commotion. when you offer him a bashful smile, he can't help but return it.
Tumblr media
as expected, yuu is also whipped for you the second you meet
he swears on his life that he has never met someone as perfect as you—not even kiyoko (which says a lot)
at first, his attraction to you is entirely physical and he doesn't hide it
he compliments you every time he sees you he even compliments your outfits even if you're just wearing the karasuno uniform
he practically begs shoyo to bring you to practice just so he has an excuse to ogle at you and profess his 'undying love'
you'd probably make good friends with kiyoko, bonding over the second years' unabashed feelings and loud professions of love lol
though he's completely smitten with your looks, yuu doesn't learn a thing about you until like two months after your transfer
he realizes it when koshi asks if he knows anything about you and no, the fact that you're pretty doesn't count as something
during a late night run to the nearest convenience store, he runs into you
you're dressed casually, and he realizes it's actually the first time he's seen you outside of uniform
he thinks you're very cute in your bunny pajamas
he approaches you with koshi's words in mind, and asks if you want to hang out for a bit
your hang outs become a common thing, and eventually it's your weekend tradition to meet at the convenient store after sundown
after really getting to know you, he realizes that he likes more than just your appearance
shockingly, once he figures out his feelings for you, he tones down a lot
he would stop confessing his love for you every moment he could, but he gets casually affectionate with you
he'd always stand close enough for your shoulders to touch and would absentmindedly guide you places by taking your hand
he's never had a real crush on anyone before, so he's feeling it out with you
nishinoya yuu! has hearts in his eyes the moment he meets you. shoyo brought you to practice one day, excited to introduce his favourite cousin to his teammates. he had all but dragged you to the gym by the wrist, ignoring your insistent utterings that you can walk on your own.
"this is my cousin!" shoyo announces the second he bursts through the doors in true hinata shoyo fashion. you were the last ones to show up, so the entire team was there to witness you getting dragged in by shoyo. "they transferred here from overseas."
yuu feels the world stop once he glances over at you after receiving a particularly harsh spike from tobio, freezing into his squatted position. his world becomes a romcom movie—he swears someone must be blowing a fan in your direction with the way your hair sways as you walk into the gym. he might even be seeing the air sparkle in your presence.
he's absolutely starstruck with you, and he makes no effort to hide it as he bounds over to you. he takes your hands in his, looking at you with wide eyes as he takes you in. he can hear someone groaning, maybe daichi, as they mutter something along the lines of "he's at it again."
"i'm nishinoya yuu," he introduces himself. "you're really cute!"
your mouth opens, but no words come out as you simply stare at yuu in surprise. shoyo had given you a brief rundown of his group members, and you realize that this might be why he warned you about the libero in particular.
even when daichi smacks the back of his head, apologizing to you quietly, yuu remains in his lovestruck gaze.
you stay to watch their practice, at both shoyo and yuu's insistence, and yuu makes a point to be even more extravagant than usual. you can't help but laugh at his boisterous rolling receives and the way he calls out ridiculous move names.
Tumblr media
oh ryuu. typical ryuu.
the first words he ever speaks to you end up with him getting slapped
like yuu, he thinks you've been blessed by the gods with your looks and he makes it clear to you when you meet
he asks you to go out with him, only to blatantly check you out right after, which earned him a smack to the face
eventually, he does apologize for his behaviour, though you don't accept it right away
when you tell him that you hate guys who treat others like eye candy, he's sure to tone it down for you
of course, a man can't change overnight
he still flirts with you, and with other women—he can't help it ;( him n yuu are menaces
however, when he's not being an absolute pest, he gets to know you
he learns about your interests and hobbies, and finds himself indulging you in them (who would've thought he'd end up enjoying the art of bracelet making?)
when you become close friends, you become his person
he goes to you whenever he wants to talk about something, and he lends an ear whenever you need to vent
he asks you about your home country often, wanting to know more about your life before you came to japan
he'd even go out of his way to do things for you that remind you of home whenever you start feeling homesick :)
it's not until well after graduation when he realizes that he might actually like you
tanaka ryuunosuke! was mid confession when you met. shoyo had brought you to one of their games, and just as ryuunosuke was getting on his knees to ask kiyoko to marry him, his eyes fall on you.
it's almost astounding how quickly the second year moved from the glasses-wearing beauty to you, appearing in front of you in an instant. before shoyo can even introduce you, he stares you down with a steeled expression, his eyes narrowing.
"you're the prettiest person i've ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on," he claims in his most serious tone. he takes your hands in his as he presses his lips to your knuckles. "please go out with me."
there's a collective sigh as the team turns away at his antics. you, on the other hand, feel your head pound in irritation. "excuse me?"
ryuunosuke doesn't hear the vexation in your tone, or chooses to ignore it, as his eyes trail over your features. even when you're staring at him in an angry disbelief, he thinks you're incredibly pretty. however, as his eyes drop lower and lower, his mind enters a less-than-appropriate headspace.
the feeling of your hand connecting with his cheek rips him out of his lewd daydreams. you didn't slap him hard, but the sound echoed over the loud chatter of the audience members anyway. "you pervert," you utter, gritting your teeth as you turn on your heel. you barely tell shoyo good luck as you all but stomp off to the bleachers.
ryuunosuke stares at your back, holding his reddening cheek in mild awe. yuu nudges his side. "don't tell me you're into that, man."
he at least has the grace to blush.
Tumblr media
to be honest, you and tobio do not get along until much later
it's not because you're related to shoyo it is
he just genuinely has no idea how to talk to you lmao
you meet him on the first day of school with shoyo
the realization that he may be teammates with the very guy he had practically berated in middle school took priority over greeting you tbh
it's only after their initial fight when he realizes that you, a complete stranger, saw him yell at shoyo as harshly as he did (even if shoyo didn't have many nice things to say either)
he's kinda embarrassed abt it tbh
like?? you had to see him like that?? he's mortified
so when he joins the volleyball club and you're a manager, he avoids you like the plague
when he talks to you, he accidentally comes across as if he hates your guts (he doesn't, he just cannot properly converse with people to save his life)
your relationship is extremely terse for months, since you get pissed off at his behaviour and he doesn't know how to act normally around you
he doesn't warm up to you until one of their games later in the season, where the morale is low and the team is hanging their heads
you give them an uplifting speech, telling the team that they're stronger than they think
it's the first time tobio looks at you in a pleasant light, and he merely puts a hand on your shoulder to say thanks as he makes his way back to the court
slowburn as fuck tbh he might not even realize he likes you until you're about to graduate (cut him some slack he's only a lil slow)
kageyama tobio! barely acknowledges your existence when you meet. you had moved to japan before their first year at karasuno began, so you showed up with shoyo to the first day.
of course, tobio recognized shoyo immediately from their encounter in middle school. shoyo had dragged you to the gym to go with him to sign up for the volleyball club, insistent that you try to apply to be a manager or something. tobio was there, about to spike a volleyball.
the second shoyo and tobio lock eyes on each other, they're at it like cats and dogs, and you're left standing there in confusion. seeing shoyo as angry as he was is shocking to you and you wonder what the hell this other guy must've done to rile up your sunshine cousin so much.
tobio doesn't even look at you as he argues with shoyo, not meeting your eyes until after the fight has 'calmed' down. he stares at you quietly for a moment before averting his gaze, grumbling something under his breath as he leaves to retrieve the volleyball shoyo made him drop.
he doesn't say anything to you as you talk quietly with daichi about becoming a manager. he vaguely overhears shoyo introducing you as his cousin, but he's too annoyed to listen.
later on, when him and shoyo are finally accepted into the club, and you're brought on as a manager-in-training, tobio still ignores you.
you don't have your first conversation until a week later, when you corner him after practice. "what is your problem?" you demand, your hands propped on your hips. "i know you don't like sho, but you haven't said a single word to me since you joined the club."
tobio flushes in embarrassment as he stares at you. he doesn't mean to, but his eyes narrow into what could be perceived as a harsh glare. "i don't have anything to say," he says truthfully, his voice coming out colder than necessary.
when he rushes off to hide his growing fluster, you're left standing there confused.
Tumblr media
you and kei barely interacted at first tbh
he had never seen you before and it was the weekend when you met so he had no reason to assume you'd ever talk again really
even after finding out you were related to shoyo, he didn't bat an eye
after all, he's not exactly going over to the orange-haired boy's house for sleepovers lolol
but to his surprise, you're in his classroom the next monday morning as a foreign exchange student
your classmates rush to you, overwhelming you with numerous questions about your hometown, and it's clear to kei that you're flustered
you meet his gaze over the crowd of people, and for a moment you're shocked to see him
however, before either of you can do anything, you get bombarded with even more questions
to your surprise and his, kei scoffs as he approaches your crowded desk
"can't you see you're bothering them?"
the gaggle of students dissipates with embarrassed apologies, leaving you and kei alone
your relationship with him from then on is odd
there's an unspoken agreement that you both don't like being bothered by other people, and you lowkey bond over it
he would never admit you're friends, but he comes to your rescue often
if you can't understand a phrase or if you don't know the answer to a question in class, he'll quietly help you out (but don't bother asking about it, 'cus he'll deny it vehemently)
when you start hanging out during practices, he ruffles your hair and rests his arm on your head regardless of your height
making fun of you is his love language (not that he'd ever admit he has feelings)
tsukishima kei! meets you when you're babysitting natsu. the team had been out getting ice cream (as per koshi's insistence—for team building), leaving kei in a sour mood because he would rather be anywhere than here.
"shoyo! sho!"
the whole team looks over, seeing a little girl who is the spitting image of their short middle blocker running toward them. kei's expression drops even more, because there's two of them?
shoyo almost drops his ice cream cone with the way the little girl jumps on him. "what are you doing here?" shoyo asks, scrambling to catch his sweet treat. "where's—"
before he can finish his sentence, another figure comes running at them, out of breath. "natsu!" you scold airily as you make your way up to the team, hunching over and resting your hands on your knees as you try to catch your breath. "jesus, don't just run off like that!"
you look up at shoyo from your hunched position, letting kei get a good look at your face. you're flushed, sweat beading on your brow bone and lips are parted as you breathe harshly through them. it's clear to the blond that you've been running around for some time now, something that makes him snort into his strawberry ice cream cup.
"sorry, sho," you wince, practically dragging the little girl, natsu, to your side. "she ran off while i was paying for her snacks. she probably saw you through the window." you vaguely gesture to a nearby convenience store, holding up a bag of candy.
you talk with shoyo for another moment, before turning to the rest of the team. your eyes briefly meet kei's and he arches a brow at you. you apologize for interrupting them, but daichi insists that you're fine and that you and natsu can hang around since you're there anyway.
as a result, you and kei end up standing near each other as the group converses. kei had been hanging a little bit away from the others, minus tadashi of course. you end up near him by coincidence—you don't know the others, and the three of you end up quietly sitting in acknowledgement that you didn't want to talk.
Tumblr media
my darling baby tadashi is a mess when you meet <3
he was practicing his volleyball skills when he accidentally whams you in the face
he'd feel guilty about it for a while (even if you insist you're fine) and would use it as an excuse to buy you drinks from the vending machines lol
"this is the fourth drink you've bought me this week??"
"i have to make up for hitting you somehow :((("
becoming friends with tadashi is surprisingly easy, given how shy he can be
it becomes a habit to meet you by the vending machines before practice
the time in the halls between classes and volleyball are spent getting to know you
he asks a lot of questions about what it's like in your hometown and the differences in your culture
i don't think he'd start liking you until after you also get close with kei though lol good luck
the first time he sees you joking around with the tall blond, he thinks his heart is about to beat out of his chest
you must be an angel, he decides as he watches you get along with kei
the three of you form a trio and you end up spending more time with them than shoyo LOL
kei absolutely knows about tadashi's feelings and takes every opportunity to tease him about it whilst you're blissfully unaware
he's so so smitten around you after he realizes he likes you
the type to look at you like you hung the stars in the sky yourself and to becoming maddeningly red whenever you so much as make eye contact with him
yamaguchi tadashi! hits you in the head the first time he meets you. he was in the gym alone, practicing his float serve. you pushed through the heavy metal doors just in time to get slammed in the face with a ball gone awry.
he feels his heart drop to his toes as he quickly rushes over to you, asking if you're alright and if you need to see the nurse. his panic only worsens when he realizes you're bleeding from your nose.
although the hit shocked you, you're left watching in amusement as tadashi scrambles to find something to stop your nosebleed with. when he eventually returns to you, having ran from the boys washroom to grab a wad of papertowel, he apologizes again softly.
"are you okay now...?" he asks when your nosebleed finally stops. he looks almost like a kicked puppy, his hair falling limply into his eyes.
even after you reassure him that you're fine, tadashi still wears his guilt like a crown. he offers to buy you something from the vending machines, and does so despite your insistence that he doesn't need to.
"you can accept it for my sake," he says sheepishly as he offers you the cold can. the two of you converse quietly, with you introducing yourself as a new foreign exchange student.
"oh!" he suddenly lets out, looking over at you. "did you need something in the gym?"
"i was looking for my cousin," you sigh. "he said he was in the volleyball club and i haven't been able to find him at all today."
he's shocked when he finds out that you're shoyo's cousin—the boy had talked about you earlier in the week when he found out you were transferring to karasuno. as you talk, tadashi thinks to himself that shoyo never mentioned how cute you were.
Tumblr media
your first meeting with keishin is awkward
ltrly knocks you off your feet when he runs into you
he's kind of brash when he meets you, not caring if you think of him badly because of it
you don't have much of a relationship at first—your work pulls you to the classrooms after all, so he doesn't really see you around often
the next time he sees you, you're stomping into the gymnasium mid practice with an irked expression
he's about to tell you off for interrupting practice, but he quiets when he sees you make your way to your younger cousin
he only watches in amusement when you tell him off for his horrid grades
when shoyo turns to keishin for help, he only shrugs with a lazy grin on his face
"sorry, little man, you heard 'em. no volleyball games until you raise your grades"
to shoyo's chagrin, you and keishin make a terrifying pair for him (and the other three idiots lolol)
you only really start hanging out with him when you end up making a late night run at his convenience store
it's the first time he sees you in casual clothing and the case of beer in your hands makes him laugh
"you wanna share that?"
he becomes your drinking buddy every other weekend, and he grows to cherish the time you spend chugging back cans of beer with him
keeps his feelings on the downlow, but as time goes on even the boys realize that their coach has a soft spot for you
ukai keishin! bodies you the first time you meet. the man doesn't realize his own strength until he literally knocks you flat on his ass after he turns a corner and bumps into you. his eyes go wide when the books and papers in your hands go flying, falling around you in a frenzy.
"shit," he curses under his breath, bending down to pick up your things. "sorry 'bout that." his voice is gruff as he speaks, collecting your papers without much care. when he returns them to you, some of them are scuffed and crumpled.
as he's handing you your things, he finally gets a good look at you. you're dressed more formally than he is by a mile. he holds a hand out to help you to your feet, his brown eyes falling to the lanyard around your neck.
"you new here?" he asks, jutting his chin out to gesture to your nametag. student teacher is typed above your name and picture.
you nod deftly, brushing off any dirt from your dress pants. "i started today. and you are?" your eyes meet his, and he knows you're silently scrutinizing him. he's much too old to be a student, you deduce easily, but he's dressed far more casually than any other other teachers.
when your eyes drift up to his bleached hair, he snorts. "i'm the coach for the volleyball club," he grumbles. "i don't need to be wearing fancy shit like you."
he sees your eyes light up in recognition as he analyzes your face with crossed arms. "the volleyball club? you must know my cousin then. hinata shoyo?"
keishin deadpans at you. "you're the runt's cousin?"

He almost ruined it. For months, you had been looking forward to seeing one of your favorite bands at the beach festival. The day before the concert, your boyfriend told you he didn't want to go and he didn't want you to go either. You had a fight that started over something stupid and ended with him accusing you that you just wanted to go to the festival so you could run around naked and fool around with guys, like the slut you were. You cried when he stormed out and shut your dorm room’s door with a bang. You cried all night.
Your boyfriend was supposed to be the driver. And now on top of all the personal pain you were feeling, you had to explain to your friends that you no longer had a ride to the festival. Neither you nor one of your friends owned a car. You tried to get your parents' car, but they needed it themselves. In the group chat you discussed all kinds of possibilities, until one of your friends wrote that he had organized a car. Everyone cheered at that, and even you, despite of all those tears that kept running down your face, were relieved that you and your friends could make the trip. You not only wanted to see the band play, more important to you was to get out with your friend and forget about the argument you and your boyfriend had.
Your friend also mentioned that the car's owner would join us to the festival, to which everyone naturally agreed and was excited. You even promised to bake cookies for the mysterious hero.
But you didn’t expect it to be him. You could have guessed because that friend also went to high school with you and they had been friends then. Still, it was kind of a shock and you froze when you saw a familiar car on the parking lot next to the dorms. The Cameron family SUV.
You hadn't talked to him since that one night. That one night that should have never happened. That one night that had been the best night of your life. That one night when you had had the best sex of your life with your best friend, Rafe Cameron.
Rafe wasn't much of a texter, but he had texted you. You had written six different replies and never sent one. You had wanted to write him or call him several times. Like last night when your boyfriend had made you cry again. Suddenly you were very aware of how you must look. Your eyes all puffy from the crying.
Rafe was at the back of the car, loading bags into the trunk with the friend who had invited him to this trip.
He hadn't seen you yet, his back was turned towards you, and you were glad about it, because you didn't know what to say, didn't know how to feel. So you were more than relieved when one of your friends arrived shortly after you, pulled you in a hug and decided that you two could already get into the car which was much cooler than standing around in the burning sun, while you could leave it to the guys to load your stuff into the car.
You sat in the middle of the backseat, your friend to your right. She started chatting right away and you felt somewhat relieved that she didn't comment on your boyfriend's absence nor your puffy eyes. Shortly after, the rest of your group arrived, you were six altogether, and luckily the SUV was really comfortable – more comfortable than your boyfriend's old minivan.
Rafe got into the driver's seat, and for a moment, he looked at you through the rearview mirror, before you turned your attention to your friend, as you felt your heart skipping a beat at that moment. You were unsure whether you saw a smile flash over his face, and you didn't dare to look again to check, afraid your face might reveal too much of your inner turmoil.
Though the drive took several hours, time flew by quickly. You had been right. It was good being with your friends and having fun. Everyone was in a good mood, the music was good, there was lively chatting and laughter, there was drinking and snacking, and even stupid car games were played. You might have been a little quieter than usual, but no one seemed to notice – no one except Rafe, who again and again looked at you through the mirror, but never directly spoke to you.
The parking lot of the festival site was already quite full, but Rafe managed to find a good spot for the car. When you got out of the car, you stretched your arms and felt the sun on your skin. It was a very hot day and the car had been nicely air-conditioned. Since it was so hot and the festival was on the beach anyway, your friends and you decided to just wear your bathing suits. You got out of your jeans shorts and shirt, as you were wearing your bikini underneath. You saw Rafe take off his shirt, and one of your guy friends commented that he should put it back on as it would make them all look like total wimps compared to him. There was laughter and Rafe smirked as he casually flexed his chest muscles. It was true. Rafe did look fitter than most guys. It wasn't too much muscles, but he was big and looked strong. Sometimes you thought he looked too good to be real, like a statue of some Greek god… Rafe had caught you staring at him and you quickly averted your gaze, feeling heat crawling to your face.
Since everyone was hungry, your friends and you decided to get some pizza and drinks, and after that more drinks. Everyone was relaxed and had a good time. You smiled a lot – except when you looked at your phone and saw the notifications. Your boyfriend had sent you several texts and voice mails. You didn't open them, you had already seen in the preview window what those texts were about. Obviously he hadn't calmed down. If anything he was even more angry, even more hurtful in his messages.
When looking at the phone, you also saw the time. The band you wanted to see was about to play soon. You asked your friends to go with you closer to the stage, but no one really wanted to move. They said you could hear the music perfectly well from their current spot, besides the booze was here. To that everyone cheered and raised their cups. Everyone but Rafe.
“I’ll go with you.”
“You don't have to. You can stay here, enjoy yourself. I'll just go on my own.”
“Quit that bullshit,” he said and came closer, he had put his cup away. “I'm going with you. So you won't get lost in the crowd. Besides, I know how much you want to see your third favorite band live.”
“You remember,” you gazed up at him, who stood now directly in front of you. You had to shield your eyes since the sun was shining so brightly, but you could definitely see a smile on his lips.
“Of course, I remember,” he said in a low voice, almost whispering and you couldn't help it, you gasped for air.
The smile on his lips turned into a smirk as he continued, “How could I ever forget you dancing to that one song for like all of junior year, hm? You're gonna do that dance again? Wouldn't wanna miss that.”
And he started moving his hips and his arms in a weird clumsy rhythm, imitating what was supposed to be you dancing. It looked ridiculous and you had to laugh.
You punched his shoulder. “Stop that. That's not how I dance.”
He kept on moving in that awkward way and you tried hard to stop laughing – suddenly feeling lighter and more relaxed than you had in weeks – since that night.
You crossed your arms in front of your chest and pushed out your lips, pouting, but couldn't fight the giggles, as Rafe tried some elaborate pirouette which caused him to stumble, but he stopped, directly in front of you. All of a sudden he was calm and there was something so soft in his features which you knew he rarely ever showed anyone.
“Let's go,” it was almost a whisper, then he added in a louder voice. “We don't want to miss that song and that dance.”
You punched his chest, your hand almost hurting as it hit the hard muscle – and felt his hot skin. But you let him take your hand and lead you from the group of your friends who were engrossed in some conversation of their own. His strong hand holding yours felt good, it felt right. Rafe was your best friend. He was the one you trusted most, he was the one who made you laugh, no matter what.
Rafe walked towards the stage and tugged you along with him. When there were more and more people around, he pulled you close to his body. Still holding one of your hands, his palm touched your back as he walked behind you, keeping you very close. He made sure you didn't get lost in the crowd. His body shielded you from anyone bumping into you or spilling their drinks on you.
The place got more and more crowded and he had to slow down. You turned your head to look at him.
“This is okay,” you said.
Rafe frowned as he looked at you. “No, it's not. We're going to the front row.”
“No, Rafe, this is totally okay. I can see enough from here.”
His frown deepened. “No, you can't. You're too tiny.”
At that comment you frowned. “I’m not tiny. You're just a giant,” you said and wanted to punch him with your free hand, but you didn't have enough space to move your arm, so you just ended up placing your palm on his chest. Feeling his hard muscle, feeling his hot skin, and his heart beating. He placed his hand on yours and your breathing hitched.
Rafe held you even tighter to his body as he proceeded to walk to the stage. His strong arms held you, protected you. And despite all these people around you, you only felt him, his presence, his closeness, all around you. Your skin tingled where it touched his, and that tingling grew stronger and became something else. Something that went so much deeper. And you felt a too familiar pulsing in your core.
Some people complained and pushed and shoved, but one look at Rafe’s face and stature and they made room for you and him. He really managed to secure a spot in the front row for you, right in the middle and you got the perfect view of the stage, standing directly behind the first barrier. Only a few feet of empty space separated you from the stage. Rafe was standing directly behind you, his hands to both sides of you, resting on the rail, his arms caging you in – shielding you.
You wanted to turn and thank him, but in that moment the band entered the stage and started playing their first song. You were captivated by their performance and the great atmosphere their music created. There was cheering, singing, dancing all around you. People were pushing and shoving, but you only felt a fraction of that as Rafe's body pressed closer to yours. He was shielding you from all the crowd's wilder movements, while you could enjoy being part of this experience safely.
You even danced a bit, your back rubbing against Rafe's front. When you craned your neck to look back at him, you saw him grin. And you felt a grin on your own face.
The set list was great too. They played all your favorite songs and the lead singer managed to put some kind of spell on the audience when they played a couple of slower songs. Or that spell was just on you, and not caused by the singer, but by something or someone else.
You leaned back a little, your head resting against Rafe's broad chest, feeling his heart beat. You closed your eyes and your hips swayed to the slow rhythm of the song. Your skin touched his skin. And you didn't mind the thin film of sweat covering his body from the heat of the bright sun and the crowded place. You smelled his scent so intensely, it made you almost forget where you were. It just made you feel.
Your eyes opened, your upper body leaned forward, resting your arms on the barrier. You watched the singer putting all his emotions into each and every note. Goosebumps crawled over your skin. But it wasn't from the singer's raspy voice. Rafe's hand touched your hip. Your back arched a little as your butt was pushed back. You gasped. Rafe's hand rubbed over your butt cheek, you felt the rough palm, the long fingers, the cool metal of his ring on your skin. The touch was light, too light, too gentle, too soft. Your mouth opened, but all sounds were drowned by the music and the noise of the people.
His fingertips, just his fingertips, tenderly touched the back of your thigh, moved to the inside of your leg. They moved up and one finger rubbed over the fabric of your bikini bottoms. It was like scratching and you flinched, but that didn't make him withdraw his hand. Instead, the finger pushed harder, pushed to part your folds, pushed to tease you, while the layer of clothes still was between you and his digit.
You felt heat rushing through your body, neither caused by the sun nor by the heat of the people moving around you. You did not perceive any of them. You just felt him, while your eyes were directed at the band on stage performing their emotional song.
Rafe’s finger moved along your slit with pressure. Through your bikini panties his fingertip was able to find your most sensitive spot at once and he began teasing it mercilessly. No one heard it, but you were sure, Rafe felt that you were moaning. You felt a growing need that threatened to take over all your senses. As if he knew that, felt that, perceived that, Rafe pushed the fabric aside – tantalizingly slow. And his fingers found you wet and yearning for his touch. A mewling sound escaped your lips as a finger pushed inside you. You felt your walls clench around the digit. And you felt Rafe tense behind you and you were sure you heard a groan.
The song had changed, you only now realized, its rhythm was faster, wilder. And so was Rafe's touch. His finger thrust into you, stretching your tightness, pushing deep, making you squirm. Your hands gripping the metal of the barrier for support. Your legs started shaking as Rafe added a second finger and began fucking you with his digits. He curled them inside you and your head went back to your neck as you moaned shamelessly. He pulled his fingers out completely, just to push them into you even deeper. Again and again.
The song grew louder, harder, fiercer – and so did his finger-fucking you. Your body trembled, your voice was hoarse and you were whining now. He pushed you further and further, closer and closer to the edge.
Then, all of a sudden, he leaned over you – maybe he was pushed by the crowd jumping about, maybe he needed to feel you closer too – and you could feel his hardness press against your back. You pressed your eyes shut as your climax hit you, hit you hard. The wave swept you away and carried you to another place, where all you did was feel, feel this, feel him.
His fingers fucked you through your orgasm. He had wrapped his arm around you, was holding you close to his body, and thus was also keeping you from falling, since your legs were shaking and you feared you no longer could trust them to support you.
Slowly he pulled his fingers out. And even though you still felt echoes of your high, this also left a feeling of emptiness inside you. A longing that was always there if he wasn't inside you.
You felt his breath close to your ear and heard him say something, but the music drowned his words. You turned your head, looking at him with hooded eyes and saw him lick his fingers.
The rest of the concert felt like in a haze. Rafe kept his arm around you, holding you close, while you watched the band play but could only listen to his heart beat, as your body was still shivering.
When the show ended, people started moving and Rafe took a step back to give you room to turn around to him.
“Thirsty?” he asked you, and you just nodded, not trusting your voice.
His hand on your back, Rafe guided you through the crowd back to your friends, and you had to admit to yourself that you wouldn't have found them on your own.
Rafe ordered something to drink for you at the nearby bar while you stood with your friends. One of them commented that you were glowing and that you looked totally blissed out. You touched your cheek and felt the heat, and felt that smile on your face. She asked if the show had been that good and you replied that it had been amazing. Your voice was hoarse and she suspected it was from you singing along with the band so loudly all the time. You didn't comment on that, just felt another wave of heat going through your body. As you turned, your eyes met Rafe's. A little smirk on his lips as he put a cup into your hand and took a swig out of his own.

I meant to do some greenhouse cleaning and tidying today because my mum is coming to visit and I don't want to be judged. It involved finally bringing myself to say goodbye to my moribund basil plants (by turning them into pesto) among other things—but my plans were derailed when I took down one of the aquaponics towers and heard a big splash. I thought I'd disturbed a fish that was napping amid the plant roots in the water, but no.... I looked into the fish tank and saw a big frog indignantly swimming away.
I went to get a little dip net and spent a solid half hour trying to fish the frog out—she swam so fast! And was really determined to stay in the fish tank, even when I told her I would put her outside somewhere watery and nice where she could meet frog friends. But I did catch her in the end.
Tumblr media
I'd never seen a completely black frog before! When I googled for more info, all I found were photos of the (amazing) African rain frog, which one website compared to an angry avocado.
Tumblr media
Back to my tank squatter—she was delicately placed on the edge of the barrel that collects spring water in the pasture and invited to start a new life here, and she morosely sat for quite a while, mulling over her options.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm not even lying to you, frog: I found a beautiful toad in the pasture some time ago... I'm moving you from a place of existential alienation (lone frog in fish tank) to a hot spot of batracian life.
Tumblr media
I tried to film the moment when the frog accepted her fate and gracefully jumped into the barrel but of course I started filming just a second too late and she refused to come back for a second take. In the meantime, every pasture dweller had noticed that something interesting was happening, and converged towards me. When they found my hands and pockets empty of snacks their reactions ranged from sharp betrayal to distant melancholy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pirlouit looked so sad in the rain staring at the horizon, pondering the inherent unfairness of life, I ended up letting him sniff the dip net, like, did you actually WANT to eat a frog?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know, but this one was too large for you.
Poldine was the only one who didn't resent me for visiting them with a frog and no snacks; she was just happy for the opportunity to kiss someone's cheek.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When I went home and looked at my frog pictures I realised there was an apple floating in the barrel ! which I hadn't seen since I was too focused on the frog. The apple tree has shed nearly all of its fruit by now, it must be one of the last apples of the year... And since entering the pasture with a poor slimy excuse for a snack in my dip net had clearly made a dent in my approval ratings, I decided to go back and offer llamas & donkey the apple along with some vegetable peelings.
Pandolf was intrigued when I fished an apple out of the barrel; he sat down in front of me the way he does to signal that he is a good dog and possibly deserving of good things; but UNLIKE SOME he wasn't disappointed with me when he realised the thing I was holding wasn't meant for him because the world doesn't revolve around him.
Tumblr media
.... approval ratings skyrocketing 📈
Tumblr media
Look at Pirlouit in the background, startled and horrified as he realises he left the scene to soon!
Look at him leaving a cloud of dust behind him as he rushes towards us!
Tumblr media
Don't worry Pirou, I saved you a whole half courgette <3 You can drop the tragic misunderstood persecuted look now.

big shot | coriolanus snow
Tumblr media
pairing: fem!reader x academy!snow
in which: y/n has just transferred to the academy for her final year of school. and better yet, her childhood best friend coriolanus snow was there too. but what she didn't know was that in the time she hadn't been there, he had become somewhat of an "uptight asshole." and that should not have been as appealing as it was.
warnings: slight angst, non-con kiss
wc: 2.3k
Tumblr media
you were somewhat excited for your first day at the academy. the only other prestigious school you had been at was practically on the other side of the capitol. your family recommended you switch to the capitol for your last year so you could commute easier.
you hadn't made enough friends at your other school to decline. besides, you really wanted more sleep. so the first day you suited up in your bright red academy uniform, styled your hair just the way you liked it, and prepared for an entire new crowd.
when your driver dropped you off, no heads turned, no one approached you, no one even recognized you were a new student. figured. it was the first day back. people greeted their friends, and besides, the academy didn't usually accept new students past 9th grade. your father had to commission an entire new building just for your acceptance.
but you didn't really care about making new friends. not today, at least. who you really needed to track down was coriolanus snow. you had known the boy your entire life. the two of you had even looked out for each other during the war, as kids.
to say the two of you were "close" was an understatement. the two of you knew everything about each other. your parents had brought you two together right before the war started. you were four when you met, five when the war started, and eight when it ended. luckily, coming from wealth, you were very well protected.
the snow's however, weren't as lucky. after the death of coriolanus's father, their money became less prolific. your family helped them out every way you could but they insisted they would deal with it by themselves.
however, you hadn't seen coriolanus in a few years. he was shipped off to the academy, and you to panem prepatory, the two of you both began to drown in schoolwork. it was hard to see eachother. and then, he stopped trying. stopped sending letters.
you didn't know why. maybe school caught up to him. maybe money. maybe his family didn't want him spending precious money on something as frivolous and stamps and letters. and that you could understand. but you weren't 100% confident that was his reason.
you had gone unnoticed in the time before your first period. however it became increasingly evident when you entered your first class. the girls in the class turned their heads as you walked in. you plopped yourself down near the girls.
"who are you?" you heard. you turned your head and matched the voice to a girl with dark black hair.
"i'm y/n. i'm new. i'm from panem prep." she looked curious.
"new? the academy doesn't accept new students." she laughed. the girls around her followed in her footsteps.
"they must have really liked me." you turned your whole body towards her now. "what's you name?" you asked. she turned to her friends on either side of her before responding.
"clemensia dovecote." she extended her hand and you shook it, firmly.
"nice to meet you." it truly wasn't. she had been snobby, but she wasn't going to say it. you turned back towards the front of the classroom and assembled everything you needed. a few of the boys introduced themselves to you, eagerly. they all seemed to be fascinated with the concept of a new student.
the boys immediately began bothering you. you turned your back to them when you finally saw him walk in. a smile formed on your face as coriolanus walked into the classroom. clearly rushed and clearly late, he stopped in his tracks when he saw you. you smiled at him. he didn't smile, but just looked at you for a moment, as if he was assessing if you were really there. he was cut off when the teacher entered behind him and he was forced to find his seat.
you had no idea he would be in any of your classes. but here he was, in your first class. the boy you had grown up with. your focus was drawn back when the teacher got everyone's attention.
"alright settle down. welcome back from break and get ready for your final year at the academy. it will be vigorous, but rewarding. and remember, the plinth prize will be awarded at the end of this year." she made eye contact with a boy with curly hair sat above you. she paused for a moment before continuing, as if to think. "oh! i almost forgot. everyone this is y/n. she's a...new student. please make her feel welcome." she nodded at you as if you needed to be identified. everyone had noticed. there were a few nods around the classroom and she began the lesson.
you watched as coriolanus took a seat next to that boy with curly hair. he had earlier introduced himself to you as sejanus. he seemed kind enough. you faced the front of the classroom and focused on the lesson.
but it certainly was hard. the one glimpse you got at coriolanus was enough to realize his outside appearance had changed. he had grown up. no longer the scrawny early-teens boy you had known a few years ago. he had put on some muscle, and looked older overall. something about him had changed. maybe it was the way his hair had grown out and now fell just below his eyebrow. maybe it was the way the red uniform he wore made his eyes stand out.
maybe you had changed. you had only ever seen him as a friend. but something about this new look made you feel things you hadn't felt about him before. safe to say you couldn't wait to talk to him.
the professor droned on about grades and attendence, projects and due dates for an hour before she finally dismissed you. looking up at the clock, you realized you had only a few minutes to get across the campus to get to your second class. talking to coriolanus was going to have to wait.
you slithered through the people crowding the hallways and made your way to your second class. hoping he was in this class too, you looked around the classroom right until the bell rung. you had come to the conclusion that he was not. which made this class much, much longer.
Tumblr media
you had to ask around to find out where the cafeteria was, when you found out you made your way there swiftly. you were so excited to talk to coriolanus. the boy you had known now all grown up into some different man. his looks had changed, at least. you hoped he hadn't.
it was easy to spot him in the crowd. you made your way towards him but stopped when you realized the amount of people he was talking to. it felt rude to interrupt the group.
you had never known him to be very popular. he was always the shy, scrawny boy in the corner of the cafeteria. but now he was surrounded.
surrounded by clemensia, a girl who had introduced herself as arachne, a few of the boys who had introduced themselves, and more. instead of interrupting, you tried to signal for him. you positioned yourself in his line of sight and hoped he would notice you. he looked up for a moment. you waved at him, to which he simply quickly nodded and looked back down.
you felt, discarded. it was odd. you hadn't seen him in so many years and he just nodded you off? you didn't like it at all.
"hey! do you want to sit with me at lunch?" you heard. you turned around to find livia cardew, a girl who had been in both your morning classes. she was much nicer than all the other girls. you smiled and accepted, hoping she would be able from distract you from the disappointing interaction you had just run into.
you got lunch and sat next to her.
"hey, what can you tell me about coriolanus?" you asked her. she looked where you had been looking, at coryo.
"oh, him? he's quite cute isn't he?" she smiled. "what about him?"
"what's he like?" you asked. if her story matched up with the one in your head, you would have nothing to worry about.
"well, he's always talking with those people. they are so uptight. think they're better than everyone." she answered. that was not the coriolanus you knew.
"wait, slow down. coriolanus is like that, or the people he hangs out with?" you tried to deny what she was telling you.
"it's the same, isn't it?" she responded, digging into her lunch.
Tumblr media
you made an effort to track down coriolanus afterschool, no matter the cost. the fact that you hadn't spoken to him all day was unacceptable. he had been in two of your classes, and not a word.
making your way through the hallways, you located him by himself for once. you grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to face you.
"coryo what the hell!" you scolded. he looked at you with surprise, as if it wasn't odd he was acting like this.
"y/n, hi. what are you doing here?" he responded, a "smile" on his face.
"seriously. long story short, i transferred schools, now can we talk?" you asked. his smile dropped.
"come with me." you held your grip on his arm as he dragged you into a quiet room. he shut the door behind the two of you.
"are you embarrassed of me or something?" you got straight to the point. if something was up, you were going to figure it out.
"what?" he asked.
"oh my g- coriolanus, i was in two of your classes, tried to get your attention at lunch, and still, you haven't spoken to me all day, and you barely acknowledged me at first period and lunch. " you explained your day to him as if he wasn't there for most of it.
"look, i was just talking to my friends at lunch, i barely even computed that it was you-"
"your uptight friends? your friends who think they are better than everyone?" you cut him off. he was silent for a moment.
"uptight? they aren't better than everyone. " he blatantly responded.
"that's not what livia cardew told me."
"livia cardew? don't listen to her." he rolled his eyes and scoffed.
"look at you. who even are you anymore?" you interrogated. the old snow would have never talked about someone like that.
"i'm the same person as before." he seemed to have taken your comment to heart.
"no you're not. i really missed you, and i was excited to come to this school and see you again. i really was. but you barely acknowledged my existence the whole day and you were standing around with your rich friends, as if you are one of them. do they think you're rich or something?"
"yes they do. they have too." he quickly argued.
"why?" you questioned. you couldn't believe he was putting on this fake outer appearance for the entire world.
"i have an image to uphold. for my family." his reason was nonsensical.
"coryo, that image died 11 years ago with your father, we both know that-"
"yeah, but they don't. you, and your family, are the only people who know any differently. i intend to keep it that way." he spoke with his chest.
"look, snow, i'm not going to ruin your public image or anything, but i can't believe who you've become. when i saw you in the first class, i noticed your outer change, your hair, your body, everything. hell, i even thought you were cute for a second. but that was before i realized what an uptight asshole you'd become. you had to become such a big shot didn't you? you need this attention? " he seemed to have completely ignored your insult and lingered on your, compliment?
"you thought i was cute?" he raised one side of his mouth into a tiny smirk.
"yeah, past tense, let's move on." you brushed it off, but he hadn't.
"no, no. y/n. my entire life i've known you and you had never admitted to ever liking me. ever. no matter how many hints i dropped that i liked you, you never gave me anything back, and now, you just reciprocate and move on?" you froze at his comment. liked you? it was disgusting. he can't act like he doesen't know you and admit he liked you in the same day.
"if you think that i still find you attractive after the way you'd treated me today you're crazy." you shooed him off.
"then call me crazy." he walked forward and pulled you into a kiss. you gasped with no time to react before he trapped you with his lips. he kissed you with a hunger and a passion you hadn't even seen in the movies.
you didn't know he could kiss like that. your brain told you to shove him away but your body disobeyed. you stayed put as he continued to kiss you. you hated every second of it but you couldn't move. at least, you thought you hated it. you would have moved if you hated it. you would have moved if you didn't really want this, if there wasn't some, wrong, part of you that needed this.
it felt so wrong to embrace that small part of you. but you needed too. that one moment of the day where you wanted him was getting it's satisfaction.
you wrapped your arms around him. why you did that? you weren't sure. you finally came to your senses and pulled away. not only that, you backed away from him.
"why would you do that." you looked to him, he was still collecting himself.
"you kissed back." was his only response. he wasn't wrong, and you hated that.
"i-i didn't mean too." you whispered. you heard a laugh from him. the whole situation confused you. you should not have let that last the entire minute it had.
"you don't accidentally kiss someone back."

Irresistible - LN4 x Fem!Reader
After the night that Max found out, you realised that there wasn't really anyone else who you worried about finding out so you decided to be a lot less secret about it, especially in the family scene. Being invited to a family dinner was the perfect opportunity to tell people who you are dating, you decided. When you got the call from your mother, you asked.
“Oh wait I do have a question,” you had said when she asked if there was anything else you wanted to know. It was common knowledge that you could bring your partners to dinner, seeing as Max brought P often.
“Alright, sweetheart, what is it?” Your mother responded, curious as you never usually had any questions.
You looked at Lando who was sat on the bed with you, nervously playing with your hand. You had told him about your family dinners before, and he said that he would, of course, be interested in coming if the opportunity was there. “I've been in a relationship with someone for about a year and a half. Would I be able to bring him?”
“Absolutely, you can. A year and a half, darling, why didn't you say anything before?”
“You know what Max gets like, right? How he's very overprotective.” She hummed in agreement for you to continue. “Well, he'd get like that… but maybe a little worse than usual.”
Lando giggled, whispering under his breath “mhm, a little.”
You chuckled before hearing your mother excitedly say “is that Lando? Can I say hi to him?” You watched as Lando quickly leant over to take the phone from your hand as you passed it to him, beginning to talk to your mother.
“Yes, Mrs. Fewtrell. I'm great thank you, how are you?... I have met her boyfriend, he's very nice. Quite an attractive man too if I do say so myself.” You could only hear one side of the conversation but you rolled your eyes at the cockiness as he winked at you. “I'd like to think so, yes. From what I've seen, he really is in love with your daughter.” He grinned at you, blowing you a kiss. “Ah, I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend the dinner, I'll have to check, but I'm pretty sure I might be having dinner with my girlfriend's family that day. Yes ma'am. Well I'm sure you'll see me soon, don't worry. I miss you too. Goodbye.”
He passed the phone back to you, grinning ear to ear.
So that's how you ended up sat in your UK house, getting ready for family dinner with your boyfriend, who was definitely freaking out about making a good impression despite knowing that your entire family absolutely adored him.
“Yes but what if I mess up or they're disappointed that you're dating me or-” you cut him off with a kiss, getting slightly fed up with his waffling. He kissed back and you felt him relax slightly in your embrace.
Pulling away from the kiss, you placed your forehead to his. “Lan, try your best not to worry. You know they already like you.”
He nodded softly. “I know I know. I just don't want them to react how Max did.”
“Well, let's hope they don't. Ready to go?” He said yes, grabbing his phone and keys.
The drive was silent, Lando having been overthrowing quietly, which was evident by the way his index finger tapped against your knee as his hand ranted on your thigh whilst he drove. You placed your hand on top of his and he smiled gratefully as he finished parking.
Turning to you, he smiled softly, the nerves still very evident in his face. “I really hope this goes well.”
“Don't worry. They love you already.”
“Not as much as you do, I hope,” he said with a chuckle.
You rolled your eyes as you both started walking up the driveway towards the door. “Who knows. Maybe that's why Max was so pissed.” You heard the oh so familiar giggle leave his lips as you knocked on the door.
It didn't take your mother long to open the door. “Hi sweetie, I've missed you!” She instantly hugged you and then pulled away, looking at Lando. “Lando? I thought you couldn't come. And Where's your boyfriend? Did you two split up?”
Lando spoke up before you could. “Actually, I remember saying that I was having dinner with my girlfriend's family…”
“Exactly. So why are you?” She paused mid sentence, looking between the two and gasping. “Oh my god. Wait. You two are together?” You nodded, Lando grabbing your hand nervously before a squeal could be heard and you were both pulled into a hug. “Come on in, you two.”
You walked into the house and to the dining room, seeing Lando look a lot calmer as people's eyes lit up once they saw him. Well, except Max. Max was avoiding your gaze for now. You greeted P with a hug and everyone except her and Max seemed a little surprised at the two of you being together. Your older brother, Sam, made a joke about not having to threaten your boyfriend, at least, because he had been around long enough to know the threats. That made Lando relax the most.
“So,” your dad said, looking between the two of you as you sat together on one side of the table together. “How long has this been going on?”
“Since July 2023.”
“A year and a half?” Your older brother said, looking at you. You nodded. “Why didn't you tell us?”
“Because I knew that if it got back to Max through someone who wasn't us, he wouldn't be happy. I mean he wasn't happy anyway but what can you do?”
“I would be happier if you weren't sleeping with my best friend.”
“I didn't complain that you started dating P.”
“Right, let's not. Max, remember what I said about being on your best behaviour, yes?” Max nodded in response to your mother as she turned her attention to another topic that wasn't Max's distaste. “Why did you decide to tell us now?”
“Max found out and we realised it was better to be honest. I'm sorry we didn't tell you guys. We hadn't even told my family until yesterday, to be honest. We had dinner with them and that's how they found out.”
“No problem. I think we're all just glad it finally happened. It took longer than me and your mother thought, that's for sure.”
You looked at your boyfriend, and then back to your parents. “What do you mean?”
“Oh please.” Your dad chuckled softly. “You two have been head over heels for one another since you were like 13. Especially Lando.”
Lando coughed slightly, looking away from your gaze which shot straight towards him. “13?”
“Yeah,” your mother was next to speak up. “It was like, you know how some girls have crushes on their best friend's older brothers? It was like that but Max's older sister instead.”
“She is barely older.” Max finally spoke up in the conversation.
“Still older. 3 hours is 3 hours.”
“Anyways. I'm pretty sure that boy fell in love with you the first time he met you. I remember overhearing him asking a bunch of questions about you when I walked past his door.”
You laughed. “I think I was the same about him, to be honest.”
Lando looked at you, seeing your eyes already on him. “Really?” You nodded, causing him to grin, almost slightly shyly as he squeezed your hand.
“I honestly never thought I'd see this day. Mum, Dad, Max, I believe you owe me £20.”
You looked at Sam, shock on your face. “You made a bet on us?”
“We did,” your dad responded. “Max's vote was never so I think he might be a little biassed.”
Your family ended up loving the fact that Lando and you were together, just as you had suspected. Once you both offered to wash up together, Lando had made a comment about you being right. You talked about how glad you were that Max didn't make any snarky comments about you two, as was expected when you first turned up. That didn't, by any means, mean that he had gotten over his anger, though. He actively avoided your gazes and was being a little petty, as always. You swore quietly at Lando as he flicked more water in your direction. You flicked some back. “Behave, you.”
He walked closer to you, playing his chin on your forehead, arms wrapping around you. “Where's the fun in that?”
You dried your hands, turning around to hug him back. You felt his hand playing with your hair. “I love you. I always will.”
You smiled into his chest at his words. Pulling away from the hug, you looked into his eyes. “I love you too. Always.” You leant up to press a kiss to his cheek before pushing a towel into his hand. “Get to drying, you're distracting me.”
“Yes ma'am. On it,” He responded, moving away and grabbing a plate to dry up.
From the doorway, your mum stepped away, leaning against the doorway for a moment whilst she watched you two act so domestically with one another - almost as if you had been together for years. Messing about, talking, actually getting stuff done, being sweet. She headed back to the living room, shutting the door as she sat down. The was quiet until your dad spoke up. “I'm happy they are together.”
“I'm not,” Max replied, rolling his eyes in frustration at them.
“Max. Why do you have such an issue with them?” Your dad asked, putting his drink back on the coffee table.
“Because he's my best friend and she's my sister. I know what he's like and he doesn't stay in relationships for longer than a year usually. Plus it's weird, he's meant to be my friend!” Max looked surprised that his mother and father seemed so happy with it.
“They've been in love for years, Max. Anyone can see it. Don't you think they would've been together a lot longer if they didn't worry what you would think?” Max stayed silent at the words of your mother. “Seriously. Despite being older than you, your sister looks up to you. She sees all three of you as some of the closest people in her lives. Plus, you met P through your sister anyway. So you really can't complain because it's kind of hypocritical, Max. She loves P and loves that you guys are together, as do all of us, so seriously, you need to realise that Lando will treat her well and you need to respect it.”
Max sighed. He looked at his family. “Do you all really like them together?” Everyone agreed, including P. “Really?” He asked his girlfriend.
“Yes, Max. You should've seen how worked up she got when you tried to make Lando choose between you and her.”
“You did what?” Sam asked, now looking at his younger brother with a sense of disappointment.
When the two of you left later that day, after spending some time with your family, you spent the evening watching films and talking about the past couple of days. Not only did your family really like Lando, his family also absolutely adored him. You had spent an hour sat talking with his sister about horse riding, you had spent some time with his mother whilst she taught you how to knit, you had spent some time throughout the previous day with each member of his family, including his niece.
The pair of you sat on the sofa, your head on his shoulder as you watched Cars together for what felt like the thousandth time over the past few years you had lived together. “Do you have any objection to us making our relationship public knowledge?” He asked as you watched.
“In what way?”
“In a sense of people knowing about us, but not knowing every detail or anything, just knowing that we're in a relationship. I want to be able to hold your hand when we are out in public and to be able to hug and kiss you and stuff after races, you know?” He looked at you, placing his forehead gently against yours and bringing his hand up to hold your face. “If you don't want to, we don't have to.”
“I'm happy to make it public knowledge. You don't understand how much I've had to hold back on kissing you whenever you've got a podium.”
He laughed, getting out his phone. “Maybe I should just hard launch us on my Instagram.”
“If you do, I will too.”
He grinned, opening his gallery to a whole album of photos just of you and the pair of you together. “Deal.”

nose in a book {bucky barnes}
Tumblr media
plot: the coffee shop you and bucky frequent is also a library and every week, you have your nose in a new book.
request by sunflowerkitten2: a coffee shop meet-cute
character: reader x bucky barnes
Tumblr media
In all of his years, Bucky Barnes had been to hundreds of coffee shops and had drank thousands of crappy cups of coffee but recently, he'd began to drink at this coffee shop. It was a small shop, half library half coffee shop with warm lighting and a nostalgic musky smell from the old books that adorned the shelves. There was a certain charm to it but the coffee certainly wasn't it. The coffee was actually pretty awful but there was a reason that Bucky kept coming back to this one.
The reason was you.
Each time Bucky came into the small shop, there you sat same time every Saturday morning, same time but always with a different book in your hand. From the first time Bucky entered that coffee shop, he was intrigued by you.
You were usually too concentrated on the book to look up at him when the chime of the door went as he walked in. Sometimes you caught each other's eye and exchanged friendly smiles but that was rare.
Bucky had never approached you, he wanted to but he wasn't that confident around asking beautiful people out anymore. He had changed a lot since the forties. Today though, the book you held in your hands was familiar to him... in fact it was one of his favourites; The Hobbit.
"You know," he said gently as he approached you, voice soft so's not to scare you, "I was there when they first printed that book."
With the comment, you expected it to be attached to a ninety year old man (which he was but you didn't know that yet) and instead you were met with the blue eyes of a very handsome thirty something year old. You laughed, "That's a rubbish pick up line," you teased.
Bucky frowned, "Not a pick up line, doll," he said, "I was actually there. 1937. What a year."
You blinked at him, insanely confused, before your foot pushed out the chair across from me, "Okay, I gotta hear this... How?"
He sat with a smile, reaching his hand across the table to shake yours, "Bucky Barnes, ma'am. Pleasure to meet you." Bucky... Barnes. That name sounded familiar.
Then it clicked.
"Oh!" You exclaimed with a little surprise as your shook his glove clad hand, "Oh my god, you look so good for your age." You hadn't meant to say that, it sounded pretty fucking weird but Bucky's face split into a wide grin. You were amusing. Usually, when people realised who Bucky was they recoiled with fear or at the very least they'd be apprehensive to talk to a ninety something assassin but you... you looked intrigued? He laughed, thanking you for the compliment that slipped out.
"Have you read Lord of the Rings?" You asked him with slightly warm cheeks.
It was his turn to be confused, "I don't think I've ever heard of them."
"Oh my god!" You gasped, "So obviously this is the Hobbit and this is a prequel to The Lord of the Rings which is hands down one of the best series ever written. They made movies of them too! It follows Bilbo's nephew, Frodo and his quest to destroy the Ring."
Bucky vaguely recalled Stark talking about movies that sounded similar to that title, "Are they any good?" He asked, genuinely curious, "To be honest, I've not seen many movies."
"They're so good. They made Hobbit movies too. Three."
He frowned, "Three movies? Did two more Hobbit books come out then?"
You shook your head, explaining that it was three movies centred around the one book, "I really liked them," you shrugged, "but is that because I just absolutely love the Hobbit? Who knows?"
As you and Bucky continued to chat you realised a very important fact, "I just realised I never told you my name," you said stopping mid sentence, "I'm (y/n). It's so nice to meet you, Bucky."
Bucky grinned, "Trust me, doll, pleasure's all mine... Now, can I buy you another cup of coffee?"

Tumblr media
The week you spent with Oscar and Logan was perfect in every way possible. You woke up with perhaps the worst backache you'd ever had, almost unable to breathe because Logan had shited his entire weight on you... well, that part wasn't perfect but the dinner you had afterwards made up for every ache and pain.
Oscar's mum made every favourite dish of yours and Logans, leaving a very jealous Oscar but at the end of the day, the three of you fell into the same routine you did as kids.
Sleeping late, Waking up even later and eating junk till you couldn't eat anymore (much to the dismay of their trainers) the only different thing is that all three of you couldn't bunk on the same bed. So you took turns, as suggested by Oscar's mother because your first idea was to fight for a spot on the bed.
But sadly, the week had ended and you had to leave, you hugged Logan and Oscar goodbye and made your way to Monaco, where you'd spend the rest of the summer vacation with Arthur.
He'd invited you not wanting to be alone while his brothers had their girlfriends and the last time he'd invited one of his friends from Prema, his mom had pulled him aside and given him the 'you know you can tell me anything, right, son?' he'd simply told her that he was just a friend, and anyways she should have been having the conversation with Charles anyway, with whatever he had going with Max, or with Carlos or Pierre.
You were a little nervous to go, never having been around his family before. You'd met Charles before and had become pretty good friends with him and Max but his mom? His Eldest brother? That was a whole other story.
He picked you up at the airport, drove you to the house, you offered to uber as you weren't allowed to drive in Monaco anymore (its a long story) when you walked in you hadn't realised everyone would be over and were currently on Arthur's back trying to get your phone back for the boy, which he had stolen when he saw the picture of you and Logan, oscar had sent you.
You looked around the room to find Charles, his girlfriend, his eldest brother, and their mother, staring at the two of you with wide eyes.
You jumped off your friends' back, snatching your phone in the process, "Um, hi, I'm Y/n, nice to meet you all!" You smiled hugging Charles and shaking hands with everyone else, trying to ignore your entrance.
"I'll go get the bags, yeah," he muttered as he left, his eldest brother following him.
"Maman, C'est une amie d'Arthur, celle dont je t'ai parlé," (Mom, She's one of Arthur's friends, the one I told you about), Charles said something to his mother in French, you tried to decipher with whatever Arthur had taught you over the years but they spoke too fast.
"Celui qui l'a emmené faire la fête?" (The one who took him to party?) She replied, her voice displaying disappointment, making the girl awkwardly standing next to the door frown at Charles for translation.
"Maman..." Charles began but his mother shushed him, making him look down.
Suddenly, the older woman's face and body language changed, doing a total 180, "Y/n, I've heard a lot about you, from Arthur and Charles!" She said with a smile, making the girl slightly jump in surprise, "Come on, sit, the boys will get your bags," she invited the youngest woman to sit and nodded at Charles to help get the bags, he wanted to protest but was nudged in the ribs by Alexandra, making him walk out in betrayal.
"Uh, hi guys," she said awkwardly feeling a little out of place. She felt like she was in front of a jury assessing her every move to give her life in prison and by the look on the mother's face, they were leaning in favour of the death penalty.
"Hi, Y/n," Alexandra began, quickly leaning forward as soon as her boyfriend left the house, " I've seen you around the paddock before, but mostly in Mclaren and Williams," She began, "I thought you were dating Oscar, right? Or Logan?" She asked making the girl cringe, she couldn't imagine dating one of her friends.
"Um, no, we're just friends, all four of us," she explained, this is so weird.
"And what about the hyper little British one?" Pascale asked making you laugh,
"Lando? I'm going to save his name like that from now on!" You smiled, "No, no, not at all, I think he's a little too invested in Carlos to even think about dating," you joked hoping to change the conversation, Alexandra smiled but Pascale remained unchanged.
"I've noticed, he's a sweet boy," she nodded, "Are you dating my son?" She asked, not sugarcoating anymore, making you choke on your spit, Alexandra quickly rushed to your side, patting your back.
"Thank you," you took the glass of water she offered, "I'm not dating Arthur!" You yelled as soon as you finished drinking the water, making his mother look at you suspiciously at first then nod.
"Thank you for being truthful Y/n," She began, "My kids are everything to me and they only have me to protect them. Lorenzo and Charles are old enough to understand just how cruel life can be, but Arthur's still naive," she explained slowly. It seemed like Alex had heard the same lecture too.
"Maman! Tell Charlie to stop kicking me!" Arthurs's voice rang as the trio stepped inside, proving her point.
"Maman, please, both of them won't shut up!" Lorenzo complained at his brother's antics, in true older sibling fashion.
"Only because you are stupid," Both Arthur and Charles replied at the same time making the eldest groan and place your bag down, to swat the others. Charles had your duffle and Arthur held your haversack, currently using it as a weapon to hit his brothers.
"Boys!" Their mother called out, making them all stop and pick up your bags, and carry them to some room in the house. Alexandra smiled at their antics and Pascale just shook her head.
"Sweetheart, come on, let's have some dinner, I'm sure the flight has you hungry and tired," She practically dragged you to the dinner table. You sat next to Arthur, Alex and Charles in front of you and Lorenzo and Pascle and either head of the table.
After the strange test of sorts, everything was normal, you joked along with the others, and the brothers often fought making you and Alex look at each other and laugh. You were getting along with her the most, being quite close in age and humour. However, as the night continued the jet lag became more and more of a problem.
Arthur was the first to notice your head falling as you sat, "Maman, We are going to turn in," you both began to get up but Lorenzo spoke up, making you stop.
" Où penses-tu aller?" (Where do you think you're going?) The older man asked.
"Ma chambre ?" (My room?) Arthur answered.
"Non, elle couche avec Alexandra, tu restes avec Charlie," (No, she's sleeping with Alexandra, you're staying with Charlie) He replied making both brothers angry.
They started talking over each other, yelling and shouting, you definitely made out more than one curse word. You looked over at Alex silently asking if she knew what was happening, but she just shrugged.
"You're so annoying, Lorenzo, Je jure devant Dieu que j'aurai une chambre d'hôtel !" (I swear to God I will get a hotel room!) He screamed making everyone quiet down.
"Don't yell at me, it was maman's idea," he looked at his brothers a little guiltily, making everyone look towards the eldest woman on the table.
"It's okay, Charlie, reste avec ta petite amie, Arthur soit avec ton ami." (Charlie, stay with your girlfriend, Arthur be with your friend.) Everyone seemed to be okay with the decision, though you didn't know what the decision was.
Arthur patted your shoulder, making you get up and follow him to his room. As soon as you walked in you kicked your shoes off, falling face-first on the soft king-sized bed. He followed suit, dropping himself on the opposite end of the bed, and turning his head to face you.
"I don't think your brother and mum like me very much, Princie," You spoke in a soft voice, too tired to even sit up.
"Nah, they are just over-protective," he answered, his voice nothing but a whisper.
Slowly your eyes drifted shut, letting yourself succumb to sleep.
"Bonne nuit, chérie."

Hii im new here! Found your blog by chance and I love how you write! Would you be able to write wanderer x jealous!reader on valentines day? Lets say Wanderer has got a lot of admirers from the akademiya and reader is just silently furious abt it but doesnt say anything. When Wanderer finds out he fucks them nicely and praise them/ reassures them <333
Apparently I struggle to do angry jealousy, I just make it sad... but it's light this time! And soft.
Also it feels so weird writing Wanderer as a name??
Want to skip the lead up? Look for the NSFW sign that marks the smut!

Valentine's Day: a day of love, gifts, and showing appreciation for your partner.
Usually, everyone tries to take the day off, freeing up their schedule so that they can focus entirely on the occasion, however it may be that they want to spend it. Which is why you were quite surprised to find yourself alone in bed when you woke up in the morning.
Now, that's not when you started feeling doubt. After all, maybe Wanderer, your boyfriend of the past few months, was in the kitchen. Breakfast in bed is a traditional start to Valentine's Day, and an easy way to get in anyone's good books. But, when you heard nothing after a few minutes of waiting, – no clanking of cutlery or slamming of cabinets – you just had to go see where he was.
Unluckily for you, all you could find was a little note, hastily sprawled and left waiting on the counter:
"I'll be gone for a while, don't wait up for me. I left you some breakfast in the cupboard, it might need heating up if you stay in bed too long, but that's not my fault...
–Happy Valentine's Day."
As usual, his handwriting is kind of hard to read; quick and messy. But, at least he did technically make you breakfast, even if he also alluded to you being lazy.
However, what most takes your attention, is the blotch of ink that splattered right at the end of "fault". It was as if he were hesitating to let go, to pick up the pen and leave it at that.
Which is why you felt oddly warm at the fact that the last part was perfectly legible and obviously had been written slower than the rest.
Even though you know Wanderer isn't particularly fond of outright expressing his feelings, you thought that surely, today of all days, he could push aside his own pride for you. Even just a little. Maybe that was too high of an expectation. His ambitions never let him take a break, so why would he take one for a made-up holiday?
Well... at least he's aware enough of your excitement for the day to acknowledge it first thing in the morning, even if he wasn't there to actually say it.
But, you knew that with Wanderer, everything would be awkward and touchy the first time around. You had to move slowly. Baby steps, you remind yourself, as you head back to your shared room to start getting ready.
It's only the start of the day.
...
You wish it weren't Valentine's Day.
Every street was lined with couples, each and every one of them holding hands, carrying flowers... things that you should be doing with your boyfriend right now.
And it didn't help that you felt like everyone was judging you for being alone, especially when most of them likely knew who you were dating. It's not like you hadn't seen them staring before now.
You couldn't blame them, really. Wanderer had shown up in Sumeru suddenly and didn't feel especially inclined to explain himself, so of course people would be curious. You just didn't like the way that their eyes would... linger after him. Even when you were there! And on the rare day that Wanderer was comfortable enough to let you hold onto him in public, the admiring stares turned to full-blown jealousy.
Now, what was wrong with that? Shouldn't that be an ego boost for you? You'd thought so too, at first. But then you realised that just meant they'd want to try and steal him from you.
You thought you could put up with it at first. After all, you knew that Wanderer wouldn't stand for anyone else touching him or getting in his way other than you. You trusted him just fine. You didn't trust the average Akademiya goer, though. They all seemed to think they were entitled to have whatever – or whoever – they wanted, just because they'd gotten into the prestigious school at all.
You'd tried to bring up your concerns to Wanderer about the whispers going around and the jealous looks you'd get when walking through the streets or halls of the Akademiya. Almost instantaneously, he shut down your complaints, finding the words so easily that it almost felt as though he hadn't even tried.
"Tch... they're annoying and only want to waste our time. Just ignore them like I do."
That response was actually exactly what you'd expected to hear, and while you were grateful for his straightforward answer, you'd wanted a more... passionate outcome. Something to show he cared.
That definitely isn't what you got, considering he didn't even look at you when he said it.
After that, you didn't want to bring up the same problem again. Especially not on Valentines Day, even though he'll probably come home having been confessed to over twenty times in the past hour alone. Okay, maybe you were over-exaggerating a little, but it really didn't feel like it to you. Plus, it's the day of love! You're allowed a little leeway for feeling paranoid, right?
Maybe this evening will be better, when Wanderer finally comes come.
...
As you walk through the door, you're instantly met with a faint smell that you recognised to be the lavender lemongrass scented candles that you kept around the house. Of course, this clued you in to the fact that Wanderer must already be home. But what solidified this, was that when you walked through the doorway, there he was, waiting for you standing next to a vase of beautifully arranged flowers. It was mainly made up of your favourite flower, along with some of the famous Valentine's flowers as well, such as roses, carnations, and even some daisies.
Most likely, it was thought up by the florist that he went to. But at least he knew your favourite flower, as well as followed the tradition of buying them for you at all.
Often times, it was unusual for him to initiate physical touch with you; even though he was comfortable with you, he still just wasn't used to it yet. Tonight, however, he seemed to have no trouble in walking right up to you, taking your hand to guide you into the living room, where you could both just relax in each other's company. The calming lavender lemongrass candles eased your mood quite well, and you were happy that your Wanderer had really tried for Valentine's day.
...
Tumblr media
You had a lovely evening with your boyfriend, cuddling on the couch as you spoke in hushed voices about anything and everything (even if he was slightly apprehensive to start), the lovely atmosphere of romantic music quietly flooding through from the street.
And even though it had felt perfect, as you get ready to retire for the night, the candles having gone out a while ago, you can't help but feel the uncertainty from before start to overtake your thoughts again.
Resigning yourself to forget about it, you get into your side of the bed, your Wanderer already having been waiting for you to return. But he can tell that something in your mood has changed almost as soon as he lays his eyes on you again.
"What's wrong?"
"... Nothing."
He leans forward, showing his engagement. "Bullshit. If you don't tell me, there's nothing I can do to help you get over it."
"I just... those people from the Akademiya... they're still bothering me." You look down at your hands.
He sighs, closing his eyes for a second, "I've told you to just ignore them. There's nothing I can do to control how people think of you, or me, or us."
"I can't just ignore them!" You whine, "They're always looking at us when we're together... it's making me worried..."
At that, he looks over at you, his eyes scrunching as he thinks your words over. "Worried about what?"
Not sure how to say it, you move yourself to lay against him. Your back is pressed to his chest now, and the feeling of his warm breath on your neck helps to soothe your thoughts just enough for you to find the words:
"...I don't want them to take you from me..."
Now, it's Wanderer's turn to be silent. Now, he realises the mistake he'd made in telling you to just ignore those insignificant people; by ignoring the problem himself, he'd made you focus on it more. Of course you'd be feeling worried about this, he'd shut it down the first time you'd tried bringing it up.
You didn't need to just forget about it. You needed to work through it so that you could forget about it.
After almost a minute of tense silence, you're surprised when you feel his lips press gently to the back of your neck, accompanied moments later by his arm curling around you, pulling you ever closer against him. His hand rests over the place where your heart rests, while the other intertwines your fingers with his against your stomach, as if caging in the butterflies that start to flutter.
"Allow me to try again..." He presses a kiss to your ear before speaking again, "you don't need to think about them, or what I think about them." The hand on your heart shifts to cup your chest, your breath wavering when his hand brushes over your hardening nipples. "Because I'll never want anyone but you."
Then, the night is almost a blur.
Wanderer sneakily pulls a bottle of rose scented lube from under the pillow, liberally gathering some as he starts to stretch you out on his fingers. The scent slowly fills the room, intoxicating you on the heady fragrance, allowing it to pull you deeper into the moment.
He steadily pushes his fingers against the sensitive bundle of nerves inside of you, never slowing until after you've cum around his lubed up digits. Your hand finds purchase with the one on your chest, tightening your grip around him as you come down from the residual high.
He's whispering short encouragements to you while you collect your breath, the moans you'd been letting out dying on your tongue. Wanderer slowly lifts your leg, allowing him to guide his hard cock to finally, finally press against your hole, not making you wait to feel him as the slowly pushes in.
You don't need to adjust much, the lube and his attentive fingers having done the work well enough that only the comforting sensation of being full registers in your core. He starts thrusting when you signal that you're ready, his pace is easy and the power behind his hips is controlled enough to pull a soft moan from you with each stroke. It's different from what you're used to, but it's good. So good. And what makes it better is the hushed and stuttered, "I love you," and, "You're the only one that matters," that gets breathed into your shoulder as you both approach your shared climax.
The next morning, you wake up to find your Wanderer exactly where he ended last night; right next to you in your bed. You close your eyes contentedly, knowing you'll never have to worry about him being taken from you.

ENJOY!
"You're a what now?" Mingi asked in awe. You laughed and crossed your legs as you sipped your wine. "I am a camgirl, Mingi," you answered.
"Wow. Sorry. Wow. I don't... know what to say. I have never met a... camgirl before, let alone been on a date with one," he grinned. You grinned as you felt the dry Pinot Grigio on your tastebuds. You weren't the best at handling wine but it was too delicious to reject.
"How long have you been doing that... particular job, Y/N?" He asked, taking another bite of his dessert. "Well, I started out with just revealing pictures, but honestly I enjoy the attention and decided to try it out, so I became a camgirl, that was... three years ago."
"I know it's rude to ask but you must... make a lot of money, don't you?"
You laughed and nodded. "Desperate men love to send money to naked girls." "Do you also take their requests and stuff?" "I do sometimes," you nodded. It was slightly cute, heartwarming even, the way he was so interested in your story.
"Wah," Mingi puffed out, "I'm a little taken aback." You grinned and nodded, finishing the cheesecake dessert you had been devouring. "I understand, not a lot of people confess to working in that industry," you said.
"So... So you show...everything on camera?" He asked carefully. You nodded as you finished your wine as well. "Everything," you answered, "my nickname is Dazy Rose if you wanted to check me out." Mingi started blushing from your words, making you laugh.
Mingi paid for the dinner which you've thanked him for. He drove you home and gave you a kiss goodnight. When he got home he browsed all over the internet to find you, finding your OnlyFans account and the site you do your lives on.
He felt very intrigued by the seductive profile picture and he decided to impulsively create an account so he could subscribe to your pictures. Mingi made sure to have a vague nickname (mangobanana99, don't judge him) and subscribe to you.
Mingi was so excited to look at your pictures but he also felt bad that he could see every part of your body online but you hadn't seen anything of him. That feeling was taken away soon enough when there was a ding! heard from his laptop: Dazy Rose is live.
"Really?" He mumbled, "Live after our date?" Mingi scoffed but then he realized you might expect him to be watching and searching your name right now. What if he's the one who got you turned on? Mingi decided to click and join the live. He wasn't proud of it but he had already made an account for the website anyway.
When he joined the livestream 405 people had already joined before him. "Wah, she must have a lot of fans," Mingi mumbled as he sat his laptop down on his thighs.
"Hi everyone~" your voice chimed from the speakers of his laptop.
Youknowit69: Hello my darling
Mr.sexyleo: Hi sweetie, I have been waiting for you!
Comments were flooding in as you introduced yourself for new viewers. You sat on a bed in a red lingerie set that made Mingi's mind spin. You made casual conversation with them first, making Mingi chuckle at the questions you answered.
"Have I eaten?" She was asked. Mingi's ears nearly perked up at that question and he prepared himself. Was she going to mention him?
"I certainly have, I went out to a lovely restaurant and they had the best food~ Food is pretty great when you don't have to pay for it," she joked, "I had really nice company."
Yes. There we go, nice company! Mingi felt like he won a prize as you said that. His fingers were typing a response before he even knew what he was doing.
Mangobanana69: You must've gone on a date, did the gentleman treat you well?
You laughed and nodded, "Yes, he treated me very well. He was hot too, I kinda hope he's watching so he can witness how wet his face made me."
Mingi swallowed thickly at that and felt himself harden in his slacks when you slipped your panties off and spread your legs. Wow.
Mangobanana69: what a pretty fuckin pussy
"Yeah? You like my pussy?" She smirked as she showed it off for the viewers. Mingi opened the button of his jeans and pulled down the zipper before whipping his hard cock out.
He couldn't believe he was doing this; masturbating to a livestream of a camgirl after a date with her. Normally you go out with someone and you hope to have sex eventually. But maybe you'd still wanna have sex with him soon? Either way, it was strange that he'd see your body first.
That feeling flooded away when he saw you rub your clit and softly moan out. He gasped and immediately took his cock in his hand, slowly pumping it up and down.
Mr.sexyleo: that's it babygirl, I love the way you whine
Daddy033: I wish you were here right now so I could throw you around and pound you
Mingi felt himself slightly jealous at the comments, but he saw he was just one of the 2849 people watching you touch yourself right now. He shouldn't feel jealous about this, you weren't his to begin with. Still he wanted to smack those dudes.
You fucked yourself on your fingers, moaning louder and making sure everyone could properly see your gushing hole. You even came closer to the camera and mic to show it off. Mingi lost his mind at the squelching sound and he started to pump his cock faster, moaning your name.
The sound of your moans got Mingi releasing earlier than expected, his cum coating his hand. Mingi sighed as he laid there, staring at the screen, watching you fuck yourself on the biggest dildo he's ever seen. Post-nut guilt was hard on him but he couldn't close his laptop, he wanted to watch you unravel for him. Except it wasn't for him.
It took a few more minutes for you to cum, showing off all the spasms from your pretty pussy to the camera. He smiled as he watched you regain your breath again. After coming down from your high you thanked all the viewers and apologized for the short live tonight. Mingi left the live and quickly cleaned himself up.
That's when he heard a message pop up on his phone and it happened to be you. He checked it quickly, mouth falling open when he read what it said.
"Come over. NOW."
And he wasted no time.

warnings: none
----
"hello?"
"hi y/n, it's tony gustavsson, coach of the matilda's. how are you?"
"i'm good tony. what can do for you?"
"i was just calling to deliver some great news. you've been selected to play for australia in the world cup."
"wait actually? are you joking?" tony laughed at that.
"no this is very real, y/n. we have already informed your current club and you'll be flown over to brisbane next week. how does that sound?"
"oh my- that sounds amazing tony! thank you so much!"
"no worries, y/n. i'll see you then."
——
it had been a week since that phone call, with tony telling me i'd been called up to play for the nation. i had been elated, the first person i'd told was my mum and dad. they were just as happy as i was. i knew who was already on the squad and one name stood out to me.
charlotte grant. my girlfriend.
i hadn't told her about being selected, i wanted to keep it a surprise and show up unannounced. we hadn't seen each other in over a month because of the two different clubs we were with.
charli and i had been close since we were 15, playing in adelaide together. we instantly became best friends when we met and eventually i had broke the silence and asked her out. she said yes immediately and we had been like the 'it' couple ever since.
our bond was tested when charli moved to rosengard at 18, and i stayed at adelaide. we saw each other in the under 20s national teams, but now we were 21 and 22, she'd moved to vittsjo gik, and we had aged out of the younger teams.
our days consisted of calling whenever we could, each one of us taking turns to stay up into the early hours of the morning just so we could talk for longer. it wasn't an ideal situation but we made it work. so when i got the call up for the matilda's i was so excited that i got to see charli again and we could play together again.
a week had passed since the call and it had felt like torture every second i had to wait. my bags were packed at least two days before my flight was scheduled and i was practically bouncing off the walls of my apartment. this was about to be the best couple of months in my life.
my parents dropped me off at the airport that day, both of them getting a bit teary as i walked through the gateway. i knew it was sad for them but i was still overcome with happiness.
this was my dream, my first world cup. i pulled my phone out when i was boarded on the plane, i had a text from charli. 'call soon? lmk x' i smiled down at her text, she had no clue i was coming up to see her. i typed my response back out to her; 'not now, love. i'm super tired x'. i hoped it was enough to keep her satisfied until i landed in brisbane.
it was meant to be just under a 3 hour flight so i put my headphones in and turned on some music. i ended up falling asleep, only waking up to the air hostesses letting people know that we were landing in just over 30 minutes. i was till a bit tired so i put my headphones away, tucked my phone into my pocket and closed my eyes again, just to see if i could get a couple more minutes of sleep.
i did fall back asleep and the hostess had to wake me up to get off the plane.
"i'm so sorry, thank you for waking me." she was a nice lady and didn't mind having to get me up. i grabbed my bag from the overhead storage and walked towards the exit. i got through security without a hitch and headed to collect my suitcase.
i was standing by the moving row of bags when an older man walked towards. "hey, y/n right? i'm tony."
"oh hi tony, yea i'm y/n, i didn't know you were meeting me here." "yea i thought i'd take you to the hotel and training myself. you can meet all the other girls then." we grabbed my suitcase when it came through and headed outside to a black car mercedes which took us to a hotel.
"we'll take you to your room so you can get changed and into something better for training then we'll head back out to meet the team. sound good?"
"yea sounds good." he showed me into the hotel and the lady at the front desk gave me the key card to my room. i managed to drag my suitcase into the room and tony said he'd wait in the lobby for me. i shoved the suitcase on the bed, shut the door to my room and pulled out some exercise gear i had on the top of the pile in my bag.
a quick shower was in order to get rid of airport germs and i was changed in no time. i grabbed my phone and key card and headed back down to the lobby.
"okay i'm good to go." tony stood up and we headed back out to the mercedes which was still there, waiting for us. it was only a short drive to the field we were training at but the nerves were seeping in at the thought of seeing charli again for the first time in over a month. tony must have been able to tell something was up.
"you okay?" "yea, i'm just nervous. i haven't told charli i got selected so this is a surprise for her." tony nodded along in agreement.
"i'm sure she'll love to see you again. the girls tell me she doesn't stop talking about you." i smiled at his words, hoping they were true. we had arrived at the facility and got out. tony led the way and showed me into the stadium. i could already see the players warming up on the field.
"alright girls, listen up! there is one more person i'd like you to meet." i stepped out from behind tony as he said his next sentence. "please welcome to the team-"
"Y/N!" he was cut off before he could say my name. it was charli that had screamed out and was now barreling towards me full force. i grabbed onto her when she hit me, twirling her around a couple of times before putting her down.
she wasted no time in grabbing my face and smashing our lips together in a long awaited kiss. "you didn't tell me you were selected!" she pouted at me.
"it was a surprise for you. did you like it?" she grinned. "absolutely." tony cleared his throat and we pulled apart. "as charli so eloquently put it, this is y/n y/l/n. go join the girls y/n." me and charli walked back to the group of other players and charli went around to everyone, introducing me to every single person.
i don't think i've seen her this happy before, but it made my heart happy.

It's your co star Madelyn's birthday today, and she is throwing a massive party. She's invited her friends from all the shows or movies she's been casted in before, and it's safe to say you're excited yet nervous at the same time.
You haven't been in the film industry for as long as Madelyn, you did a few minor roles here and there before you landed your major role in Glass Onion alongside Madelyn. That's where you met her for the first time, and you both hit it off really well. Glass Onion is your first project which got you a lot of exposure, so before Glass Onion you hadn't been to many parties thrown by big celebrities. This is the first one you're going to, and you're determined to make it one of the best nights of your life.
You quickly get ready, wearing an outfit which looks absolutely gorgeous on you and gives you loads of self confidence. You prepare yourself to socialise with many new people and to try to make new friends. There are going to be so many other people in the film industry; who knows, you may land a deal in another blockbuster project.
Your cab pulls outside of your house and you get inside it. You direct the driver to Madelyn's house and he takes you there in under 20 minutes. Before you can even reach the party, you can hear the music a distance away from her house, which tends to overpower your nervousness over your excitement.
The cab driver drops you outside her house. You walk up to the closed door and take in a deep breathe before ringing the bell. You can hear the chattering of the people inside. The door opens and you see Madelyn on the other side. You grin widely upon her presence.
"Happy birthday beautiful!" You say ecstatically, hugging her and kissing both her cheeks.
"Thank you darling!" She says laughing. She beckons you to come inside. You walk in to see the biggest crowd of people you've seen together in a house.
You turn to Madelyn and hand her her gift. "Oh my god you didn't have to bring me one!" She says, taking it from you and hugging you again.
"Nonsense! It's your birthday, you definitely deserve to get one."
"Thank you so much. Come on, let's get you some drinks and I'll introduce you to some people." You follow her lead to the kitchen, where she gives you a drink. You thank her and take the cup from her.
"Hey Madison!" She yells out. Madison turns around and sees the both of you. She comes up to you rushing.
"Oh my god hi!" She says, smiling widely as you hug her. "It's so nice to finally meet you!"
"You too!" You say, smiling just as widely as her.
"You were so good in Glass Onion, like, come on. That's some Emmy level acting right there." You blush at her compliments.
"Thank you girl, but let's talk about Kiara! She's amazing and you're so talented!"
"Oh stop it," Madison says, laughing. You take a sip of your drink as you make some more small talk with her.
"Look there's everyone else," Madelyn says suddenly, looking across the room. You see she's looking at the group of the cast of Outer Banks. You recognise all of them. Madelyn takes you by your hand and you three make your way to the bigger group.
"Hey guys!" says Madelyn, and everyone replies with a varied version of 'hello'. Madelyn introduces you to everyone, and you hug all of them one by one and make small talk with them.
You and Madelyn now walk to the only person in the group who you haven't met yet: Drew Starkey. You may or may not have found him attractive in the show.
"Hi Drew, it's so nice to meet you!" You smile, and give him a hug.
"You too! I finally got around watching Glass Onion some time ago and you were out of this world," Drew compliments. You feel flattered from all the compliments you've been receiving today.
"Oh my god, thank you! But you as Rafe is just something else. I really cannot imagine anyone else playing him. You embodied his character so well."
"Thank you so much," he smiles. You feel your heart flutter at the small motion. You both join the group, and watch everyone talk and laugh among themselves. You look on your side at Drew, and take in how pretty he looks in the suit he's wearing. You notice the earring dangling from his ear and the rings he's wearing. You feel yourself almost swooning.
Drew whips his head in your direction but before you both can make an eye contact you turn your head away. You feel your cheeks heat up when you hear him chuckle. He totally caught you staring. You down the entire drink in your cup.
"Do you need some more?" Drew asks you. "I've run out of mine too."
"Oh... yeah sure." You both excuse yourself from the group and walk to the kitchen. Drew fills both your cups and you thank him for it. You start to feel your head slightly throbbing from the loud music playing from the speakers which are right next to you and Drew.
"Hey uh Drew?" You call him out. He hums in response. "Would you like to go out in the garden?"
"Are you okay?" He asks, slightly worried.
"Yes, yes I'm fine, it's just, the music is too loud and I'm starting to get a little overwhelmed by the number of people here," you say honestly.
"Yes of course," he says. "You'll feel better if you get some fresh air." You both leave the house and go to the garden. There is a small fountain set up in the centre of the massive garden, so you and Drew sit next to each other on the edge of the fountain.
"Thank you for coming out with me," You say, feeling grateful there's someone with you to help you feel more relaxed.
"You don't have to thank me sweets, it's all fine. I'm guessing big crowds aren't your thing?"
"No, they really aren't. I haven't been around in the industry to be used to such a huge amount of people in one room. It does make me anxious."
"Don't worry about it," Drew says softly. "It takes time to get used to it all, the big crowds of people, the paparazzi on the streets, the overwhelming number of events to attend. Your mind will slowly start to feel relaxed as you spend more time in this industry. Becoming famous comes at a price." He laughs.
"Oh it definitely does," you giggle with him. You both sit in silence, the sound of the music muffled. You have already starting to feel more relaxed, and you think it's because of Drew's presence next to you.
You like this feeling.
↶ೃ✧˚. ❃ ↷ ˊˎ-
"Okay now I have to try this casserole, you've mentioned it atleast five times already." You laugh. Your and Drew's position has changed from the edge of the fountain to the grass on the ground. You both sit in the grass, your legs crossed as you play 20 questions.
"What can I do, it's just that good," He says proudly. To every food related question you asked him, Drew managed to give "my famous chicken casserole" as the answer.
What you both have not realised is that it's been over two hours since you both have been sitting out here and chatting. The party had started to die down in the last half hour. So many people had left, and the music was now playing at a low volume. You feel your phone vibrate, so you pull it out to see Madelyn calling you.
"Hello?" You say.
"Where are you? Did you leave?" You hear Madelyn on the other end. She sounds frantic.
"Oh no I'm outside with Drew, we're in the garden," You reply. There is a silence on the other end of the phone. In a few seconds you are met with the constant beeping, signalling Madelyn ended the call.
You hear the door open and watch Madelyn walk out to you both. "Way to go guys, you could've atleast told me you're here! I was worried when I couldn't find you inside. You aren't the kind of people who leave without saying goodbye so I knew you hadn't left for your homes, which made me a lot more nervous when I couldn't find you inside." She rambles, and then starts to breathe heavily after she finishes.
"We're so sorry Madelyn," you say, getting up from the ground. "Me and Drew got so lost in conversation that we didn't even realise where the time passed."
"Yeah, it's also getting late now, so I think we both will just leave now," adds Drew, as he stands from the ground too. You nod along his words.
"Unless you need any help inside?" You ask.
"Oh no, don't worry about that." Madelyn is quick to connect two and two together. She sees the spark between you two, and starts to feel all giddy upon the possibility of you both getting closer. "I hope you had a fun time." She smiles at you both.
You turn to look at Drew who looks at you back, both of you just softly staring into each other's eyes.
Oh you definitely had fun.
And so did he.
"We did," you say, turning back to look at Madelyn. "We'll just leave now. I'll book a cab."
"Oh no, I'll drop you," Drew pipes in.
"No it's okay, it'll be such a hassle for you. It'll only take me a few seconds to book one."
"No no, I insist. It can be unsafe to be alone with an unknown cab driver this late at night."
"He's right, he can drop you. It's best you don't go home alone." Madelyn adds.
You look at the both of them, and give in. "Okay, thank you Drew."
You both exchange your last goodbyes with Madelyn and wish her a happy birthday again before you leave her house together. Drew's car isn't parked that far from her house. You reach the passenger door but before you can open it for yourself, Drew opens it for you.
"Oh, why thank you kind sir," you say in a posh accent as you sit down. He just giggles at your reply and walks around the car to sit in the driver's seat. He starts the car and begins to drive.
You connect your phone to his Bluetooth speakers to put on some music. After searching around your playlist for a few seconds, you find your favorite song.
"Oh my god I love this one!" Drew says, bobbing his head to the beat.
"You do?" You say happily.
"Yes! Their recent album is just simply a work of art."
"Right! It's my all time favorite album! It's everything." On the drive to your house, you and Drew vibe to music and surprisingly, you both have a lot of common music taste.
Drew drives up to your house, but he just doesn't want you to leave. Not yet. This is too soon. He wants to spend more time with you, get to know you better.
But it's getting late at night. And as much as you don't want to leave either, you know you have to go.
"Drew, could we exchange numbers?" You ask, shyly. He just nods his head with a smile and gives you his phone. You put in your number and ask him to text you so you can get his.
"Thank you for the drive Drew," you say softly. You stare into his eyes yet again. There is so much you have to explore, so much more you need to know about him. He's lived a different life before you came in it, and you want to know about it all. You want to know every single thread that's been woven together to create this beautiful man in front of you.
"You're welcome," his voice just as soft as yours. You want him to stop you. You want him to tell you that he doesn't want you to leave. You want to stay with him and talk some more.
But he doesn't say anything.
You give him another smile and step out of the car and walk to your house.
Drew is controlling himself from calling your name out. Why are you getting distant from him by each passing second? Why aren't you staying? He doesn't want you to leave.
↶ೃ✧˚. ❃ ↷ ˊˎ-
You freshen up in your washroom and change in some comfortable clothes before lying in your bed. You hear your phone vibrate so you pick it up to see it's a text from an unknown number.
unknown number: hey it's Drew :)
You smile at the text. You quickly save his number and shoot him a text back.
you: hey :)
drew: oh you haven't slept yet?
you: nope, not sure if I'll be able to fall asleep tho, my insomnia keeps on kicking in
drew: ugh same, insomnia gets the best of me
And you both kick it off again. It's almost 3 am at night, but you're up texting Drew. You feel like you are 13 years old, and you are getting to text your first ever crush. The nerves, the skipping of your heartbeat each time Drew uses a heart in his texts all make you feel like a little teenager again.
And you love it.
↶ೃ✧˚. ❃ ↷ ˊˎ-
It's been almost three weeks since you met Drew, and all you have to say about this is that your life has changed for the better. He's there for you every single moment you need him; when you need someone to celebrate your small successes with, when you need a shoulder to rest your head on when you're sad, when you need someone to just listen about what's been bothering you.
In return, you love to be by Drew's side as much as you can. You try your best to reciprocate every little thing he does for you.
But one of the biggest things Drew has done for you is get in contact with one of the directors he has worked in the past, who now has casted you in his upcoming movie. The script impressed you a lot, and you're super excited to start working on it. And you just don't know how you can thank Drew for it.
"Sweets it's the fifth time today you've thanked me for it and it's only 9 am! I swear, I've done nothing, all I did was just call him up." He smiles at you, as he hands you a plate of the pancakes he made.
"But now I'm getting to act in this big movie Drew! You really don't know how grateful I am for that," you say, digging into the pancakes.
You were over at Drew's home last night to watch some Netflix together. You ended up falling asleep in between the show, so Drew carried you to his room carefully. When you woke up this morning, it took you a few seconds to realise where you are.
"I have to do something for you in return, otherwise I'll just feel guilty." You tell him.
"What? There is nothing to feel guilty about. No more talks about this okay? You and me, we're close friends, we do things for each other without expecting a thank you in return."
Friends. He didn't intend to say that, but what else can he do? He doesn't want to risk what you both have created so lovingly by admitting his feelings for you. What if you don't like him back?
Friends. Why do you feel a pang in your chest upon hearing this word? But, that's what you are right? You haven't told him how you feel about him, so that makes you friends, right?
An awkward silence falls over you two which only involves the sound of the forks and knives scratching against the plate and of you both chewing. Once you're done eating, Drew takes your plates and puts them in the dishwasher. Meanwhile you gather all your stuff and get ready to leave. You say nothing except a simple goodbye and leave his home.

You're sitting in your room with your script in your hand as you read it and try to memorise your lines along with it. The sound of your phone ringing makes you lift your head up from your script. You see it's Drew calling you. You get slightly worried because he doesn't call you very often, you both usually prefer texting but when he does call you, it's something urgent.
"Hello?" You say after accepting the call.
"Uh... are you free?" You hear Drew's voice on the other end. Except, he doesn't sound the same. He sounds sick.
"Oh my god Drew are you okay?" You ask worriedly, getting up from your bed and finding your shoes and other things you'll need if you have to leave the house.
"Just a little sick," he then coughs, which definitely doesn't indicate to a 'little sickness'.
"I'm coming okay? Just give me a few minutes." You cut the call and quickly pop on your shoes, pick up all your stuff and leave your house.
You reach his place really quickly and rush inside. You realise you didn't ring the bell but then you remembered he's alone and sick so it's best to not disturb him from his bed.
You enter his room to see the lights switched off, the curtains drawn, and Drew's body lying under the covers. You walk up to him and carefully lift the duvet from his head. You softly gasp at how pale he looks. There are loads of scrunched up tissues lying around on his bed.
"Hey," he says, his voice hoarse as he tries to smile at you.
"Drew, bub," you say nothing else. You feel so bad for him, he must be feeling so sick. He notices your frown and lifts one of his hands up to your hand.
"Hey I'll be fine, now that you're here to take care of me," you softly chuckle at his words, as you caress the back of his palm. You lean in to press your forehead against his to see if he has a temperature. At that moment, Drew feels his cheeks heat up, and not only because of the high temperature he has.
When you feel his forehead scorching hot against yours, you quickly rush to his medicine cabinet and find the pills you need. You then get a glass of water for him. You carefully wrap your arms around his body and help him sit up in his bed. You hand him the water and a pill.
He takes the pill and you tell him you're going to make some vegetable soup for him. You go to his kitchen, find all the ingredients you need in his fridge and start to whip up the soup. You work quicker than usual, because you know you need to get this to him as quick as you can. When the soup is simmering away on the stove, you go back to his room. He's still sitting in the same position, his head leaned back against the headboard and his eyes closed.
You drag one of the chairs in Drew's room closer to him and sit down. He opens his eyes and looks at you.
"I'm so sorry for bothering you, I really didn't know who to call." He says.
"You don't have to apologise, I'm here for you always," you say softly, taking his hand in yours again and rubbing his skin just as you did before. He seems a lot more relaxed upon this gesture from you.
"You are sweets, you are always there for me. You're there for me when I need someone to talk to, you're there for me when I need someone to tell my dad jokes to."
"And you are always there for me Drew," you add. "You're there for me when I need someone to listen to my crazy theories about the movies I watch."
Drew gives you a soft smile, and you both look into each other's eyes just the way you always do, and you find yourself getting lost in them again. It's like you've found a home in those striking blue eyes.
"Sweets?" He calls you out. Your heart flutters each time he calls you that. "Can I tell you something?" Maybe it's the high temperature that he has that's making him do this, or maybe he's just tired of being just friends with you. Whatever it is, he is ready to tell it to you.
"Yes?" Your heart starting to beat faster. You have a small hunch of what he might say, but you don't want to get your hopes up just to get hurt.
"I think... I think I've fallen for you." He whispers. You look at him with your eyes wide, his hand still in yours.
You can't believe your ears. He said what you had the slightest hunch he'd say. But you didn't think you would have guessed right.
The person you fell for because he told you he will always be there for you no matter what has also fallen for you.
On the other end, Drew looks at you and tries his best to read your expression. Are you going to tell him the same, or are you about to reject him? He can't tell what's going on in your mind. He breathes deeply as he watches you look at him with wide eyes.
"I'd never thought I'd hear this but Drew, I fell for you too, so fast, so hard." You whisper back. He lets out a sigh of relief.
The person he fell for because they told him taking care of him is one of their topmost priorities has fallen for him.
You lean in and press a soft kiss on his forehead and another one on his cheek. "I'll give you a real one when you get well." You say, smiling so widely.
That night, you stay over at his place. You sleep next to Drew, his head resting on your chest as you rake your fingers softly through his hair and occasionally press a kiss to his forehead, his cheek, his temple, his chin, his nose.
He's yours, and you're his.
The world has finally fallen in place.

Your eyes landed on a particular person sitting next to Becky, causing you to smirk of accomplishment.
Sami. He's been avoiding you for a couple of days only because you told him when he saw him you were going to kill him for giving Cody your number. And he thought that maybe if he could avoid it for a whole week till the next show, you'll give over it. But that was him letting his hopes get the best of him.
He knew you held grudges, and deep down, a part of him knew you wouldn't let what he did slide.
You slowly walked up to Sami, who was laughing at whatever Becky said. Becky's eyes landed on you but quickly looked away when she saw you bringing your finger to your lips, telling her to remain quiet.
Sami's face then went from a smile with a bit of laughter to straight fear as he felt a hand on his shoulders, followed by your voice.
"Hey Sami," You spoke; Sami stared at Becky, who butted herself out by taking a step back. He then let out a nervous laugh.
"Oh, hey, Y/N," He said. "Oh, look, time to get ready for my match, gotta go."
"No, no, no!" You pull Sami right back as he tries to pull you back. You then had your finger directly pointed at his face. "Were you thinking about your life, Sami, when you gave Cody my number!?"
Becky immediately butted herself back into the situation with a smile on her face. "Way to go, Sami!" She applauded, causing you to glare at her.
"No! He shouldn't have done that!" You shook your head, looking from Becky to Sami.
Sami raised his hands in defense. "He told me he wanted to apologize for the rumor he spread; I thought he was being nice!"
"It's Cody; when is he ever nice to me!?" You scoffed.
"He's been more than nice to you," Becky muttered, causing you to again glare at her. All she did was stand there, smiling at you.
There are apparent differences between Sami and Becky; Sami was afraid of you, and Becky was not.
But what Becky said made Sami look between you and her—finally, pushing his cluelessness aside and catching on to something he hadn't seen before.
"Wait, did I miss something?" He asked. You looked at Becky, who looked at you. You then sighed and looked at Sami, explaining to him everything from the night he called you about the rumor, then said to Sami and now Becky the night Sami gave Cody your number. You questioned at the moment if you should kill them. They knew too much.
Sami stood in shock, digesting the information you gave him, while Becky shook her head, scoffing.
"I didn't see then, but I now see it," She said, smiling at you. "That man is in love with you!"
"What!?" You said in disbelief before laughing, thinking she was joking.
But she wasn't.
"Yeah, Y/N, I hate to break it to you, but I think he broke Cody, and he probably did too; otherwise, it would just have been a one-time thing," Sami said, agreeing with Becky.
However, Becky shook her head at Sami. "Well, I don't think He broke her; she is still talking to Damian,"
You were momentarily hesitant before that "Well.." slipped out your mouth. Sami and Becky turned back to you. "I ended things with Damian the next after Cody was in my room. I don't know, hearing that morning him telling me how much he liked me, I didn't feel the same and didn't want to lead the man on,"
"So what about Cody?" Sami asked. "From the time you gave Damian a chance, I honestly thought you would end up having feelings for him, but it's like Cody stopped you from doing that."
You remained silent, hearing what Sami said. Since last week, you and Cody got into that argument. You couldn't stop thinking about him, and it was worse than usual.
You end up staring at his number from time to time. It is saved as an unknown number as if you were going to call him. It wasn't hard avoiding him because you haven't seen him since that night. His words replayed in your head multiple times, and it was so bad you felt your dignity start to lack late at night, in bed, letting your pleasure out while thinking about the man you truly despise. And never have you done anything like that, let alone while thinking about a man.
And as much as you hate to admit it, everything Cody argued to you made him right.
He was right, which holds you back from even talking to him. You could see that smile of his while telling him he was right; that's not something you want happening.
"There's nothing with Cody. I haven't spoken to him, and I like to keep it that way," You said. "This whole situation is dead, so can we please not talk about it anymore?"
You notice Becky glancing over at Sami, who gives her a shrug as they both agree to stop talking about it. Neither one of them wanted to push your buttons.
"You're going to McMahon's party tomorrow night?" Becky asked.
McMahon's party. It is a party that now Stephanie McMahon and her husband, the COO of the company, host every year as a way of celebrating us Wrestlers and our achievements. This year, they're celebrating at the hotel where all the wrestlers stayed for the next few days. You find it complete bullshit, especially when some of the Wrestlers don't get enough attention on TV, let alone this company.
But you still go, only because of the respect you earned from Stephanie herself, despite her no longer working in WWE. But the minute you do go, you wind up leaving five minutes later.
"Yeah, we don't have a choice, though," You spoke. "Adam keeps telling me I must be there and can't leave like last time." Sami sighed. "I have to drag Kevin down tomorrow; Adam told him the same." He said. "You know how stubborn he gets."
"Don't let him hear you say that," You told him as you and Becky chuckled a bit.
Sami was going to speak, responding to your comment, you assumed. When loud yells from a distance caused you three to look in the direction where it was coming from.
Your heart immediately dropped, seeing Damian and Cody in each other faces as yell at one another. Sami takes off, pushing Cody back, while Finn appears out of nowhere with Rhea, pulling Damian back.
"Say one more word about her, and I'll fucking kill you!" The venom in Cody's voice caught your attention. You've seen him angry; hell, you made him angry multiple times. But never in your years of knowing him have you seen him this angry.
Damian, however, laughed at Cody. "Honestly, Cody, I hope two end up together," He said. "You two deserve each other!"
"Come on, Priest, let's go," Rhea smirked as her eyes landed on you. Damian glanced at Cody again before he, Finn, and Rhea walked away in your direction.
You looked at Damian, who didn't even look in your direction. Though, you knew he knew you were watching him. But you were suddenly caught off by Rhea, pushing past you, almost knocking you down.
You laughed as you grabbed Rhea and turned around as you got in her face. The yelling was now coming from you two.
"Is there a problem, Rhea!? Because if there is, I'm more than glad to handle the problem!"
"You know exactly what the problem is!" Rhea spoke. "I warned Damian about you, and guess what? I was right! So stay away from him!"
"Whatever he told you was probably lies!" You spoke before looking up at Damian and then back at her. "He and I are on good terms, so I don't understand where this all coming from!"
Rhea laughed at you before shaking her head. "Not Damian, sweetheart," She said. "Asked Cody over there!"
Rhea then walked off. Damian looked at you, then Cody, who you assume was still there, before walking off alongside Finn.
You turned around and saw Cody standing there. He looked at you. You haven't seen him in weeks, and despite knowing you may and may be angry by the question you would ask him.
Your mind began wandering off. He was shirtless, in his gear. He looked highly sexy when he was mad.
"What was that all about?" You asked him, confused. Cody looked at you. "What do you think, Y/N?"
He told Damian everything. And Damian probably said something that caused him to react aggressively. But you were confused again.
Why did he get so offensive and protective over you? You had people in the past called every name in the book; even Cody himself has called you names. But for him to get this angry over someone calling you a name that you don't know what it was surprised you.
Cody held his hand up, telling Sami he was okay as Sami let him go. Cody looked over at you once more before walking off.
Sami and Becky looked at you, confused about what the hell even happened. Sami spoke and sighed. "The situation is dead, huh?"
———
The more time went by, the less you were looking forward to the party. It was already the next day, and the party had already started. You looked at yourself in the mirror as your hair and makeup were set, as well as your dress, as it fits perfectly on top of your body.
It wasn't short; it laid just about your knee. It had a split from the side of the dress to show enough skin. Your breasts were shaped perfectly against the top part, and your hair and makeup were perfect to how you wanted it.
But it didn't make you want to go even more. However, after minutes of debating, you finally took your purse and went down to the party.
Upon arrival, you notice the amount of people already there, which makes you want to turn around and head back to your room.
"Drink?" A male walked up to you, holding a tray of drinks. You smiled at the male and took a drink, then another.
You knew it was going to be a long night.
"Y/N?" Becky called out as she approached you. She sees the two glasses in your hand and can't help but shake her head.
"Don't lose me, Y/N," she said.
"Well, if I don't have a drink or two, you will lose me." You said as you took a sip of your drink.
Your eyes wander around, seeing familiar faces. Some you are friends with, others you aren't. And most that you genuinely hate.
The last time you were at this party, you didn't even last 10 minutes and made the excuse that you were sick.
However, Adam Pearce was telling everyone how it's mandatory to stay the entire night. Everyone enjoyed the party, except you.
Becky wonders off, leaving you alone again as she joins her husband's side. You gulped down your first drink as you went for the second one in your hand, placing the first glass on an empty tray and finding another server, taking another drink.
Two drinks went from four to six. You sat down, drank your drinking, and ate a cup of fruit they had also at the party? You ran into a few people along the way of your drinking: Sami, Kevin, Adam, who had to remind her that she needed to stay, even The Judgement Day, whom Rhea and Damian glared at you.
You were still confused about what exactly happened last night other than the fact that Cody told Damian everything. You didn't know how much he told Damian, but you knew Damian said a comment about you that caused Cody to get riled up.
Cody. You haven't seen him at all tonight. You wanted to see him, though deep down, you wouldn't admit that to yourself.
But you and Cody had a lot to talk about. And you were tired of waiting for the right time or nothing.
And you weren't sure if it was the alcohol getting into your system, but you pulled yourself off your seat, finding anyone who might know Cody's whereabouts.
You stumbled upon Jey, Sami, and Kevin conversing about something, causing them waves of laughter.
"Have any of you seen Cody?" You whispered to them. You didn't want to make it evident that you were looking for him.
Kevin shook his head. "Not since leaving our rooms; why?"
You quickly shook your head. "No reason,"
"Y/N, are you drunk?" Sami asked, looking at you. You were going to deny it at first by shaking your head. But the laugh got to you, making you cover your mouth to stop yourself.
"A little," you admit. "You three enjoy the party." You quickly walked off and went onto Seth and Becky, who had said the same thing that they hadn't seen Cody.
"Don't you have his number? Try calling him," Becky reminds you. Seth was taken aback. "Number, since when have you and Cody been friends?"
"Friends!? No! Never!" You deny offensively. Becky, however, gave you a look along with a smirk, causing you to glare at her. "Shh!" You tell her, then walk off. "Did I miss something," You heard Seth asked his wife.
You looked around the party, seeing no sight of Cody, which made you consider taking Becky's idea of calling him.
"But what if he doesn't answer?" You thought to yourself. You pulled your phone, scrolling to his unsaved number as you debated whether or not you should call him. After minutes of discussing, your finger pressed the call button as you placed the phone on your ear, hearing it ring.
"He's not going to answer you," You thought once again. "You desperate, Y/N, the man still hates you. There's no way-"
"Hello?"
You stood silent for a moment, panicking on the inside as you realized he had answered.
"Y/N?" Cody asked, checking if you were there.
"Hi," you quickly responded, letting me know you were there. "I accidentally called you; my bad,"
"Really?" He asked. Even though you were drunk right now, you could still tell that his smile appeared on his face. "Because I swore I just saw you pull your phone out and call me," So he is here
Your eyes wander around, trying to look for Cody. "On your left, Princess,"
You turned to your left, seeing a figure from afar looking in your direction. Cody sat down, staring at you while you were still on the phone.
"Has anyone told me how sexy you look in that dress," Cody spoke. "If we weren't at this party, I would absolutely ruin you in that dress."
"I thought you were mad at me," You spoke, ignoring the response you received in between your thighs as he said. Cody smirked at you.
"I could say the same thing to you," Cody said. "Is there a reason why you called me princess?"
You bit your lips while looking at him. You then scanned around the room. There is no sign of Adam or anyone you could run into.
"Second floor, room D." You spoke before hanging up. You glanced at Cody again before walking towards the elevator and sneaking out of the party. You thought you should have done that sooner if you knew it would be easy.
The elevator opens again as you walk to your room and open the door, leaving it open for Cody to come in.
You took off your heels, tossing them to the side as you sat in front of your mirror, taking off any jewelry you had on.
Your eyes landed on the door through your mirror once you noticed it opened, seeing Cody standing in front of your door as he shut it shut.
You turned around and looked at him as you bit your lips.
"Hi," you spoke, looking at him. You couldn't help but think how handsome he was looking. You have been thinking about that a lot lately.
He wore a typical suit, which he wore usually. However, it only made sense that he wore it since others also wore suits.
But you notice the hesitation in him as he eyes you. "Are you drunk?" He asked you. You brought your fingers up, holding them close together, indicating that you were a little drunk.
"I can handle my liquor, Cody. I'll be fine if that's what you're worried about." You said. Cody shook his head. "That's the least of my worries right now." He said and took a step towards you.
You two weren't close. But to you, you felt extremely close to one another. The height difference made you feel small compared to him.
"Why did you call me up here?" He asked curiously. You looked at him. "I wanted to talk about last night."
Cody sucked his teeth as you reminded him about last night's events. "I want to know what Damian said that made you so angry,"
Cody shook his head. "It was nothing." He lied. You rolled your eyes.
"Stop lying!" You said. Cody, from just that, was getting even more mad. You couldn't help but wonder where the sudden anger was coming from. You knew it wasn't just from mentioning his and Damian's fight.
"He said the most out-of-pocket thing about you, princess, that I don't even want to repeat," He admitted. You couldn't help but laugh a little after a moment of silence. "Where did this you getting defensive about me come from? You hate me, remember,"
Cody stepped forward, causing you to part your lips a bit accidentally. Cody noticed it as he licked his lips. The sexual tension was already forming.
"What about you, huh?" Cody asked. "Why did I find out from him that you were the one who ended things with him the day after I was in your room?"
You were silent as you remembered why it took you so long to talk to him. Telling him the truth meant telling him he was right.
And you'd rather die than tell him he's right.
"I didn't feel anything for him," You simply told him.
"And why's that?" Cody's voice went low as he looked down at you. You felt his hands on the skin of your thighs, brushing upwards, causing you to feel goosebumps on you.
"I'm not going to say it, Cody," You tell him. You already felt yourself getting turned on by how close you two are. But you also felt frustrated because of how easily he knew that he was right.
"Say it, princess," he said. "Say I'm right."
"No!" You argued. You gasped when you felt Cody's hand around your neck, pulling you closer.
"Say it," he demanded it. Your mouth was open, allowing Cody to be ready for you to say those two words he was desperate to hear.
"Never," you said, followed by a smirk.
Something in you sparked up by Cody's actions, causing you to push him onto the couch that sat in your hotel room. This took Cody back as he looked at you.
His eyes watched you straddled his lap, feeling how warm you were in between your thighs.
"I hate you, Cody," you spoke. "Nothing will change that, and nothing will make me say those words." You whispered to him.
Cody growled, grabbing the side of your cheeks and kissing you.
You missed everything about him. His touch, his kiss, the way he made you feel. You couldn't help but grind your hips against him as the two of you made out with each other.
"I miss those pretty noises of yours, baby, thought all this week," Cody spoke as you couldn't help but whimper at the pleasure you were feeling grinding against him. Cody watched you, hands on your waist, as you made the most pretty face and precious moans and whimpers out of your mouth.
And you noticed this: Cody sitting there, with his hands on your waist. You took one of his hands and brought it up to your breast, biting your lips as his eye landed straight at them, playing with them.
"So fucking gorgeous," He said, groaning a bit. You can feel his member joint a bit, causing you to moan. You pulled back a bit, pulling his tucked shirt out of his pants and unbuckling pants before pulling it down, showing his boxers. You noticed him pulling off his shoes before kicking his pants off. He was eager to feel more of you.
You straddled him once more, letting out a loud moan, feeling the layers now thin between you two.
"Oh my god, Cody," you moaned, tugging his hair. Cody's breathing was unsteady as the two of them started panting. You couldn't help but smirk, however, thinking about something.
"What are you smirking for?" Cody asked. You debated telling Cody; however, you knew it would turn you on.
"I have a confession to make," you said. Cody chuckled, "You finally gonna admit I was right?"
"No!" You spoke. You then brought your lips to his ears, saying something that just might have driven Cody insane. "I had touched myself thinking about you."
"Fuck, Y/N," Cody cursed under his breath. You looked at him as he struggled underneath you. "I couldn't help myself; I moaned your name and everything."
"Y/N, shut up," Cody said, groaning. You laughed and kissed all over his neck, grinding a little harder on top of him. You two were moaning a mess.
Cody lifts your dress, letting his hands trail up your dress. You wore a lace underneath that hardly covered anything. "Look at that pretty pussy."
You moaned, throwing your head back as you felt yourself approaching your second organism.
"Let me see you touch yourself for me, princess," Cody spoke. You moaned, doing precisely what he said by bringing your hands down to your clit, rubbing it in circles while grinding on him.
Cody watched in awe, as you were an absolute mess watching you. He didn't think you could get this beautiful.
"Cody, baby," You spoke. "I'm close."
As your orgasm appeared, it quickly went away, Cody pulling your hand away from yourself and stopping you from grinding by holding you in place.
He looks up at you and shakes his head. "You will not finish till you tell me I'm right." He said, causing you to suck your teeth.
"I'm not saying that," You tell him. Cody looks at you and lays back, smirking. You looked at him as he smiled even more at you. What alarmed you was the hint of devilish in it. "What?" You asked.
Cody doesn't say anything at first as he leans in and kisses you, and you immediately kiss him back. He pulls back and looks up at you.
"Sit on my face," he speaks, licking his lips.
Your eyes went wide. Never in your entire lifetime have you done that. It brought a little fear in you.
"Cody-"
"I'm not taking no for an answer," Cody's eyes went dark as he spoke. He was dead serious.
Before you could even say anything, Cody had already lifted you off the couch and onto the bed.  He takes pulls off your dress, not enough to rip it, and takes your panties off before he takes off his jacket, pulls his tie off, and unbuttons his shit till he was shirtless in nothing but his boxers and lays on the bed.
"Come on, princess, sit on my face," Cody demands. You hesitate for a moment before getting on top of Cody, hovering over his face as you slightly lower yourself.
Cody grew frustrated and immediately wrapped his arms around your thighs, pushing you down on his face until you were fully sat on him.
Despite the fact you're thinking that you're probably crushing Cody, you moaned at the feeling of Cody's touching tasting your clit. "Fuck" You let out.
It felt different. You never had someone make you straddle their face to eat you out. And as you looked down at Cody, you noticed him eyeing you, your Body. Just seeing you like this turned Cody.
And you were tired; you really tried not to buck your hips as you gripped the headboard of the bed. But the way his tongue lapped on your clit, tasting every inch of you, you accidentally buckled, causing your eyes to widen a bit.
"Sorry," You apologized, looking down at Cody. His eyes said otherwise; he wanted you to do that again. And it didn't take long for him to have you buckling your hips again, followed by a long moan.
You knew Cody was enjoying this, which made you care less about being scared in the first place. Your hands reached from behind as your hand slipped into his boxers, pulling out his cock and stroking it.
You buckled again, feeling Cody moan against your clit. "Yes, Cody, don't stop!" You moaned. At this point, you didn't care who could hear you. You swore you were a lot louder than the last time you two had sex.
Both hands were now on the headboard as you felt your orgasm. Your head threw back as it approached within seconds.
But you didn't cum.
Cody immediately grabbed your waist, pulled you up, and held you in place as you were still hovering over him. You let out a needy whine.
"Say I'm right!" Cody demanded. You use every strength to hold your ground as you look down at him.
"I said no!" You yelled.
In just a blink of an eye, Cody now had you lying on the bed. A part of you knew if he kept doing that, pulling away every time you were about to cum, you were going have to want to.
However, you were still stubborn. That was until he immediately attached his tongue to your pussy, his head vigorously shaking in between your legs as he led you back into your orgasm.
Your hand found his head, tugging it down as your moan grew louder before. Cody was way strong, however, and pulled back, causing you to whine once more.
"Fuck!" You scream. "Okay, you're right! Please, Cody!"
You felt that stupid smile on his back on his lips as he went back on your clit. Your legs shook as you clenched on your bedsheets, letting a cry of moans and enjoying the orgasm that you had been craving for what seemed like forever.
You lay there as Cody's head appeared from between your legs, panting as he looked down at you.
"That was fucking hot," he said, then hovering over you. "You're so fucking hot, so beautiful."
Cody kisses you. You can taste yourself on his tongue as the two of you fought with each other. However, you let him win. You were too deep in that aura stage, just by Cody simply giving oral sex, that you were weak to do anything.
But suddenly, you let out a gasp as you felt Cody's dick touch your clit. He watches you as he rubs himself against you.
"Cody," you whine. "I don't think I can handle more."
Cody shook his head, however, and kissed all over you. "Baby, yes, you can," he cooed. "I know you handle my dick, be a good girl to daddy."
You moaned at Cody's voice as he grinds himself against you for pleasure. You needed him inside of you; you desperately needed him. But it was more of the joy than anything you were worried about. You weren't sure if you could handle so much pleasure.
"Tell me what you want, baby," Cody said. "I know want this dick. I can feel you clenching, and I'm not inside you."
Your hands fell on his massive arms, feeling every muscle as he whimpered. "Fuck me, Cody,"
"Mmm, so sexy," Cody muttered to himself as he adjusted the length of his cock, lining it up against your clit and slowly inserting himself in you. "Fuck," he breathes out as he closes his eyes.
He forgot how good you felt, and every single bone in his body was holding back from fucking you so hard on this bed. But he wants you to feel him, take his dick as much as possible, cum as much as you need to.
He wanted to take care of you.
Cody, slowly but surely, rolled his hips, making sure he was fully pulled out till you only felt the tip, then sank back in. You moan, hands above your head as the two watch each other. It was like heaven, what he felt. Seeing you laying there as he allows his cock to enjoy you.
"That's it, princess." He whispered in your ears, patiently waiting to give you to go faster. "Take my cock, baby. You're doing so well, baby girl."
"Keep going," your breath heavily. "Keep talking; go faster, please."
Cody groans a little, speeding up the pace. "You're so wonderful, baby, taking my dick." He said. "No one has ever fucked you this good before, have they."
You shook your head, whimpers and moans talking over your mouth.
"Be a good girl and use your words," Cody demanded. You started to realize you had a kink for that.
"No," You moaned out. "No one- fuck- no one has fucked me this good."
Your hips started to move again his dick, causing him to hold down your hips and deepen his length into you. "That's it, baby- I can feel you." He moans. "You're gonna cum are you."
Cody was now at a pace where he was fucking you harder, faster, and you two were moaning uncontrollably. One of his hands was on your neck, choking you.
"Oh, Daddy, don't stop." You moaned. Cody growls. "Fuck, you going to make me come! Oh fuck!"
You reach your climax, having yet another orgasm. Your moans grew louder as Cody pushed himself deep, letting out his cum as his head fell in between your neck.
The two now lay in bed as you processed what happened. Cody smiled as he clenched his hands, thinking about the fantastic sex they just had and trying his hardest not to get riled up again. "This was a lot better than last time." He spoke.
You nodded, agreeing with Cody as you bit your lips, holding back a smile. Cody looked at you, grabbing your chin and making you turn to him.
"No more bullshit," He said. "I don't care how much you hate me. You're mine, got it?"
Something in felt butterflies in your stomach, which made you absolutely sick to your stomach. He's right; you do still hate him, which is why you hated the way he was giving you these butterflies in your stomach. But there's no way you can back yourself out or avoid him after this night. You slowly nodded, agreeing to Cody as if you were making a deal with the devil.
"Got it."

The Rare Bookseller Part 43: Katherine's Advice
Prev > Masterlist > Next
September 1925
TW: conditioning, discussion of abuse, panic attacks
Oliver put the finishing touches on a set of egg-salad sandwiches, neat triangles with the crust removed, and set them on a platter along with an assortment of tea cookies from a local bakery. Truthfully, he didn't know the first thing about entertaining -- with no friends or family and a tiny bookshop apartment, it wasn't anything he'd ever had to do. Alexander had some helpful suggestions for things he'd seen other thralls do, and had procured the supplies Oliver would need for a light midnight lunch (or whatever one might call it.)
In fact, Alexander had been hovering around Oliver a great deal since their fraught conversation a couple of nights before. He'd bought a bounty of foods he supposed Oliver might like, and seemed to be popping up around every corner of the library to show Oliver interesting books.  It was as though his master thought he needed to win his favor all over again -- despite the fact that Oliver was still very much enthralled, his thoughts often going hazy and filling with imagined echoes of siren song.
Oliver didn't really need the attention, but he did appreciate the advice on entertaining. Embarrassing as it was, Oliver really did want to impress his guests. So much had happened over the past few weeks, his entire life and conception of the world turned on its end. The only people who might really understand were vampires' thralls. Miriam hadn't seemed quite lucid enough for a true conversation, but Alexander had told him that Miss Ruth's thrall, Charlie, was quite intelligent and together.
It'd be nice to talk to someone else who had gone through... this. That was all.
He had just finished up in the kitchen when the doorbell rang and his master rushed to greet the guests. "Hello hello!" sang a voice that Oliver would never forget: Miss Lily. She brought both of her hands to her face in a dramatic mock gasp. "Lex? No, it can't be. You don't look like you just clawed your way out of a grave. Who are you, and what have you done with Lex?"
"Mm. Nice to see you too."
"And look at you!" Miss Lily ruffled Oliver's hair. "You look like you're adjusting quite well! Are you the one responsible for Lex's shocking good health?"
Oliver blushed, not certain how to respond to the praise. She seemed different from how she had been in the auction house, more relaxed, but something about her voice and mannerisms still made Oliver feel a bit dazed and eager to please. "I'm just glad I was able to help him, sir."
"Of course you did. I just knew a thrall like you could do him a world of good. Speaking of which..." She pulled her thrall Miriam through the front door, and she looked at Oliver with her usual clouded expression. "Miriam, you remember Oliver, don't you? Lord Alexander's new thrall?"
She looked confused for a moment before her face lit up a bit in recognition. "Oh, yes! From when we were staying at the auction house. It's good to see you again."
"It's good to see you, too." Miriam's uncertain mental state made him a bit uneasy. If Lily and Alexander were anything alike, would he end up similarly entranced? Would he even realize if it happened? Was it happening already?
"But Miriam's not the only person I've brought along. I took the liberty of inviting one of our old friends that Lex has been avoiding."
Alexander looked confused. "Ruth? I haven't been avoiding her."
"Ruth's on the way, too, but no, not her."
"Oh -- you don't mean --"
A sophisticated-looking older woman, gray hair tucked in neat curls, stepped out from the porch. She was wearing an old-fashioned, dark blue flannel dress with a high collar. Behind her was another older woman, also wearing an old-fashioned flannel dress, hers covered with a ruffled white pinafore.
"Edith! It's been ages!" said Alexander.
"And whose fault is that?" she said, in the tone of a worried mother. "You kept turning me away when I called on you, and I'd hear all about it from Lily -- how you refused to take a thrall, and were drinking bottled blood --"
Alexander looked uncharacteristically cowed by the scolding. "And I'm sure she's told you that I have a suitable thrall, now, so you needn't worry about my health."
"I'll stop being worried about your health when you start taking proper care of yourself," she said. "But I'd like to meet this thrall of yours. Is this him?"
Even with his master and Miss Lily around him, Oliver could still feel the pull of this new vampire's aura on his mind. It was soothing, almost numbing, and he had the odd thought that she must be a good master. "My name is Oliver Pines, sir, and I am indeed Lord Alexander's thrall. It's a pleasure to meet you."
"Oh, what a polite and charming thrall," Miss Edith said with a smile. She shamelessly took Oliver's chin in her hand to examine his face, and Oliver was surprised that his master didn't seem to mind. "Healthy, and his blood smells very nourishing."
"As you can see, I'm taking care of myself just fine," said Alexander defensively.
"I suppose this is a better state of affairs than your usual. But where are my manners? I haven't introduced myself properly." she said, and then turned back to Oliver. "You may address me as Dr. Edith. I'm a doctor who has served the vampire community for over a century. If you're ever sick or injured, no doubt your master will call on me to help."
"You're a vampire... doctor, sir?"
"There are very few health ailments that can afflict vampires, so I primarily take care of their precious thralls. After all, healthy thralls are necessary for a healthy vampire," she said, with a pointed look at Alexander.
He rolled his eyes with a smile on his face. "Yes, yes, your point has been made."
"And this is Katherine, my faithful nurse," said Dr. Edith, gesturing to the woman who had accompanied her.
Katherine delicately shook Oliver's hand. "Good to meet you." She looked bright-eyed compared to Miriam, but her hand was warm, and she clearly was not a vampire.
"Are you a..."
"Dr. Edith's thrall, yes, and her nurse and assistant and whatever else is required of me."
"I see," he said with relief. He was looking forward to having a chat with a thrall who seemed to still have her wits about her.
While the group was still exchanging pleasantries, hanging up coats and hats, when the doorbell rang once again. It was Miss Ruth, the vampire lawyer who had sized up Oliver's suitability for a clerk at the auction house. She was followed by a tall, broad-shouldered man.
"Do you remember me, Oliver?" she asked.
"Yes, sir, I remember you very well. You asked me to recite state capitals. I'm glad to see you well."
Miss Ruth looked at him with longing. "Oh, I do wish I could have afforded to buy you," she said. "But no matter how hard I work, I just can't compete with Lex's fortune."
The broad-shouldered man was named Charlie, and he was one of Miss Ruth's thralls and law clerks. He favorited Oliver with a stoic nod, and between him and Katherine, he couldn't help but feel a bit self-conscious. Now that he was fully enthralled and owned by a vampire, it was strange to be around other humans, even those in a similar boat. It made him more keenly aware of his situation, and he wondered how he seemed to other people, all too aware that he was under a hypnotic spell.
"Now that all of our guests have arrived, Oliver, why don't you get your tea and refreshments and show the thralls into the second-floor sitting room?" said Alexander. "We'll be meeting in the parlor, and I would prefer not to be disturbed."
"Yes, sir," said Oliver, feeling more than a bit like a child being shooed off so the adults could talk. But even though he'd love to hear what the vampires were discussing -- especially since he seemed to be of particular interest to them -- he was also eager to have a chat with the other thralls.
A few moments later, and he'd enlisted Katherine and Charlie's help in carrying trays to the sitting room. The curtains were open wide, offering a pleasant view of the gaslit city streets and the waning moon. Miriam settled into a plush chair and pulled a knitting project out of a small bag as Oliver poured tea for the four of them.
"Please, help yourself to sandwiches and cookies," he said.
"You're a lovely host, Oliver," Katherine commented. "And so lucid, as well."
"Um --"
Charlie glared. "An awkward thing to say to a new thrall, don't you think?"
"At my age, I don't see any point dancing around the bush. I've seen hundreds of thralls, after all, and I'm well aware that we're some of the more fortunate ones."
"How long have you two been thralls?" asked Oliver.
"Six years for me," said Charlie.
"I've been with the doctor for nearly thirty years now."
"Thirty years!" said Oliver. "I didn't know... well..."
"Didn't realize that a thrall could last so long in the service of a vampire?" said Katherine, amused. "It's understandable, but it's more common than you might expect. I'm particularly lucky in that my master is a doctor, and so I'm kept very healthy."
"Do you like your master?"
"I do," said Katherine. "I'm under her spell, of course, but after all these years, that's practically background noise. But after having met so many vampires, I'm glad it was the doctor who enthralled me. I meet lots of interesting people and vampires, and I get to help them. I'm never bored. And she's always treated me well."
"I'm also happy to serve my master," said Charlie in a tone that sounded a bit strange. "I mean, I do miss my old life sometimes, and it's hard work to be a clerk, but my living conditions are so much better than when I was working at the factory, that's for sure. My math and reading have improved, too."
"And how about you, Oliver? What's your first impression of serving Lord Alexander?" said Katherine.
Oliver's mind swirled with thoughts, of his master's siren song and his feeding and his need, of the library and the comfortable bed and generous food, of his tiny apartment above the bookshop that used to be modest but his, of the threat of his master's sire.
"It's been good so far. Lord Alexander will be a good master to me, I hope," said Oliver carefully. "But... did you two know his previous thralls?"
Katherine exchanged a look with Charlie. "Ah, yes, Henry. I remember him. He was more... subdued. Like Miriam."
"Like Miriam," Oliver repeated, his fear of having his mind fade away from him renewed.
Miriam looked up from her knitting. "Hm?"
"Nothing, dear," said Katherine. "I believe that Lord Alexander has, for the most part, always treated his thralls very well. He's a gentle vampire, and he's always treated me with more respect than is due a thrall. But..."
"But?"
"Well... I have had to treat a number of mysterious injuries on Alexander's previous thralls. Miss Lily's as well. I assume you know what those two have in common."
Charlie looked impatient. "There's no need to beat around the bush. Our vampires won't mind us talking about this. They're probably talking about the same thing," he said. "Oliver, what has Lord Alexander told you about the Maestro?"
"The Maestro?" said Oliver, his eyes widening. "Is that... his sire?"
"Oh dear. Yes, he is," said Katherine. "So he's told you very little. It's the way of vampires, unfortunately. Even my master barely tells me anything."
Oliver gripped his chair. "I need to know. Please, tell me."
"I'm afraid I don't know that much myself. He's notoriously reclusive. But I have had to visit his manor to attend to thralls on a number of occasions. Even my master would prefer not to go there, but she says it's too dangerous to defy him."
"What was he like?"
Katherine leaned in close, as though the subject of their conversation might somehow overhear. "His power lets him control people's bodies utterly. His thralls are like toy soldiers, moving to a drum only they can hear. I'm used to all kinds of thralls, but his were uncanny." Katherine shuddered. "Even though he didn't lay a hand on me, he was glaring at me the entire time, and I could feel his influence pulling at my mind. A feeling as though I had to fall in line immediately, or something terrible would happen. Like I could barely think without him hearing it. I've rarely wanted to flee a manor so quickly as that one."
"That does sound... unpleasant," he said, trying to keep his hands from shaking as he sipped his tea, unable to stop his imagination from conjuring visions of himself being used as little more than a puppet. "And his thralls were injured?"
"My master complained that he hadn't called until they were practically bleeding out -- afterwards, of course, not while we were there. Malnourished, too, with a haunted look about them." She put a hand on his knee with a sympathetic look. "But these were the Maestro's own thralls, not Alexander's. You have far less to worry about here. As I've said, I've always found him to be a very gentle vampire."
"Convenient," huffed Charlie. "A vampire with a reputation for being gentle and honest, who gets to blame all his thralls' injuries on his notoriously cruel sire."
Katherine looked alarmed. "Charlie --"
"I'm just saying that I find it hard to believe the apple falls that far from the tree."
Before Katherine could interject again, Miriam unexpectedly looked up from her knitting, fear written on her normally placid face. "But it is true," she insisted. "Lord Alexander has never hurt me. Neither has Miss Lily, except when she has to leave me there, and --" Tears began to roll down her face. "I can hear it. I can still hear it. Miss Lily told me I could forget, but I can't, I can't forget or he'll punish me --"
"Miriam, oh dear, Miriam, it's okay," said Katherine, pulling the sobbing thrall into an embrace. "It's all right, Miriam. No one's going to hurt you here. You're safe with us, dear."
"I can dance. I can do the dance perfectly, I promise, just let me try, I can do it." Miriam's anxious mumble was barely intelligible between her crying and the way she was pressed against Katherine.
"Miriam, you aren't there. You aren't anywhere frightening. You're having tea at Lord Alexander's house, remember?"
"I'm at...?"
"Lord Alexander's house. His thrall Oliver is being such a gracious host. It's perfectly safe. See?"
Miriam seemed to wake from her terror almost as quickly as she'd fallen into it. "Oh, of course, I don't know what I was thinking!" she said, glassy-eyed as she lifted her head from Katherine's shoulder. "Oh, I always enjoy when my madam visits Lord Alexander. He's very kind to me."
"Of course he is, dear," said Katherine, patting her back. "We really shouldn't bring up such awful topics around Miriam. She's a sensitive soul. Charlie, how's your baseball team doing?"
Oliver wanted to hear more, even though it terrified him, but he also felt awful that his questioning had thrown Miriam into a panic, so he eagerly went along with the topic change. "You like baseball, Charlie?"
"Love baseball, always have," he said, also looking relieved at the conversation switch. "My master gave me a great radio set, so I can listen to all the games. But my team's doing awful this year -- bottom of the league. They never shoulda traded their star pitcher..."
As Oliver listened to Charlie rant about blown games and poor referee calls, as Katherine discussed birdwatching and a new bread recipe she'd tried, he could almost forget the fear of his situation and feel a little bit normal.
It was only later, after Charlie and his madam left and Miriam was engrossed in her knitting, that Oliver was able to pull Katherine aside. "Katherine, will you please hear me out?"
"Certainly," she said in a motherly tone. "I know how hard it is, the first few weeks of being a vampire's thrall."
"What you said before..." He glanced around as if he were afraid his master would pop out of the shadows at any moment. "Am I safe here? Will I be all right? I've been conditioned to be unable escape..."
"That's normal, yes. I assume Miss Lily was the one who handled your conditioning?"
"She was."
"Then no, I don't expect you'll be able to escape," she said. She put a hand on Oliver's shoulder. "I can't promise that you will be safe. What I said about the Maestro was all true, and while I do believe Alexander means well on the whole, you're among vampires now. We live in their world, and they do what they will with us."
Oliver felt his gut twist. "So then..."
"I've met so many thralls in my life. Hundreds, probably. Most in worse situations than you, and some in better," she said. "Would you like to hear my honest advice about surviving this?"
"Yes, by all means."
"Find happiness wherever you can. Find joy outside of your master's enthralling and feeding. Hobbies, food, art, education, anything that brings you pleasure -- indulge in it." She smiled warmly. "You'll need these pleasures to keep your mind sharp and keep your soul from despair. When you're permanently a prisoner, you need something tangible to look forward to, even if it's simply a warm drink or a beam of sunshine. You seem like the sort of man who can appreciate the mundane."
"...I like to believe so, yes."
"That's a skill that will serve you well, Oliver," she said. "Even if Alexander and his sire are cruel to you, you'll still have something to hold on to during your darkest moments."
"Something to hold on to..."
"I think you will figure it out. With how much Lord Alexander seems to prize you, it wouldn't surprise me to meet you here twenty years from now, looking back on our lives with our vampires."
She seemed to mean it, and that gave Oliver hope.

I really enjoy Edith as a character and hope to write at least one side story with her.

[Beneath the smile]
When you first find out about Eclipse's existence, you're... Well, you don't know what to think.
You were cleaning up the boys' room while they took care of the daycare; it was nice of them to take on the bigger tasks, especially since you had been so tired this week. You were picking up papers from the floor when you noticed something odd... A drawing? It was right underneath the table, beneath the heaps of art supplies and whatever else Sun could manage to gather.
You kneeled down on the soft carpet you had gotten them that one Christmas a year ago and pulled the paper out; it looked a couple of years old. You could tell by the dried... Blood? Oh. You tried to keep your mind off of that for a moment as you then looked at the picture. "Super Eclipse... And Cody bestest best friends forever..." You read aloud; you could tell it was written and drawn by a very young child, and you frowned. "Eclipse?" you questioned as you stood up to put the drawing on the table. You have heard the name Eclipse around here before, but you couldn't remember if you had ever seen or heard about him.
As you try to remember while looking at the drawing on the table in front of you, your hands are on the table as you're leaning over. The blood on the drawing is concerning, too, but before you can think further about it, you feel two large and robotic arms wrap around you, and you let out a surprised noise as you're lifted.
"Hello, little starlight~!" Moon purred against your jaw as he held you to his chest; you hadn't heard Moon come up here. "You looked so serious, almost like one of those detectives from your silly stories." He chuckled as he placed a soft kiss on your cheek, which made you smile and giggle just a tiny bit, before putting you back on your feet. His hands went to his hips. "So what's up?" Moon asked with his teasing grin.
You turn to look up at the tall and handsome android. "Well... I was cleaning up-." Moon nodded his head. "As you wanted to do," he added. "As I wanted to do," you replied with a snort before glancing behind you at the child's drawing on the wooden table, your small smile gone from your lips. "Who... Is Eclipse, Moon?"
You felt like all the air had left the room; everything felt tense and hostile. You were about to ask again when you looked up at Moon and saw his eyes were firmly on you. "Who told you about that name? Who said it to you?" His voice sounded angry and terrified. Maybe hurt... Even grieving, in a way. "No one told me!" You responded hastily before standing aside. "it says Eclipse on this drawing here, and I just wondered..." You gestured with a hand to the drawing.
Moon stepped closer to the table to take a look, and you heard his fans whirr loudly in his chest, his face plate spinning once before settling. "It's old. Do not pry, and don't ask again. Starlight. Is that understood?"
You had never heard him talk like that to you before, but you nodded before remembering he wasn't looking at you, so you spoke. "Yes. Sorry, Moonie. I didn't mean to pry." Moon hummed in response. "I think you should go down and clean with Sunny for a while, Stargazer," he said with a small smile. It looked like he was about to break. Or snap.
You frowned but hummed. "Alright, Moonie." You decided not to poke Moon more about it but hoped maybe you could ask Sun. You left the room through the secret door and went down the stairs. As you got down to the bottom of the stairs, you heard things get thrown around in their room or maybe moved around. You couldn't tell.
You will figure out who Eclipse is, hopefully, through Sun.

To be honest, it scared you a bit when in the last weeks and months before giving birth people told you how hard the first months after the birth would be, especially in terms of your mental health and the sleep the baby would deprive you of. And as it turned out they weren't wrong about that.
You didn't know how you managed it but just four days before Charles' birthday and two days before Uncle Arthur's birthday your little angel Dorothéa was born in the middle of Charles' season and the only reason he was able to be there for the birth was because his little princess was born before her due date. She was supposed to be born at the end of October, when Charles would have been in Mexico.
The past few weeks had not been easy. Charles was so close to winning his first World Championship. It gave you great pleasure to see him on the podium weekend after weekend and a few times at the top of the podium as well.
But being alone with a new born was the downside and sometimes it wasn't easy.
"My angel, please go to sleep." The tears ran down your cheeks almost as quickly as they did for little Dorothéa, who lay in your arms while you paced through the living room with her in your arms. Again and again you walked to the window and looked out of the flat towards the open sea.
There was a reflection of the moon, which was already well on its way to setting again to make room for the sun in the next few hours. If you had had to add up how many hours you had slept that night, you certainly wouldn't have got more than two hours.
You took your phone from the shelf next to the entrance to the flat and out of desperation you wrote a message to Charles, he must be just about to go to bed in Mexico.
You put your phone away and went back to Dorothéa's room. The little one had finally fallen asleep in your arms and your hope was that she would stay that way when you put her in her cot.
Just as you pulled the door closed behind you and made your way to your room, which you normally shared with Charles, you could already hear her nagging again. And almost at the same time, the tears that had just dried up ran down your cheeks again.
You sat down on the floor in front of your daughter's little bed and leaned your head against the wooden struts of the cot. Your tears continued to run down your cheeks as you reached out a hand to your daughter and placed it hopefully on her back.
You couldn't take it anymore, didn't want to do this anymore. It was all just too much. You hadn't left the house for days and since Charles had been in the States and then in Mexico, you hadn't seen him either and hadn't slept properly because he usually got up with you in turns during the nights to sooth Théa back to sleep.
Suddenly you felt a hand on your back. Startled, you turned around and woke Dorothéa, who had just calmed down again.
Behind you, your eyes blurred, you could see the two boys standing there.
Lorenzo picked you up from the floor, almost having to carry you because you were so weak and couldn't stand properly by yourself.
"Oh, Y/N, please check in earlier next time, sweetie." He put a hand on your cheek and wiped the tears aside with his thumb. While Lorenzo walked with you back to your room you could hear Arthur taking Dorothéa out of her little bed and laying her on his chest trying to calm her down.
"Charles would kill us if he knew how you were feeling right now." You sat down on your side of the bed and Lorenzo put the blanket right over your legs while you were leaning against the headboard an looked at the oldest Leclerc brother, a little confused why him and Arthur were suddenly in your apartment.
"But I wrote to Charles, didn't he send you here?" Your words came out choppy and in a whisper. You had to stifle a sob. Lorenzo shook his head.
"You thought you were writing to Charles but you must have, or rather thank God, sent the message to Arthur. He called me directly and now here we are." Lorenzo pulled you down a little by your legs, which were already under the covers, so that you could lie down and your head landed perfectly on your pillow.
"Sleep. We'll take care of Théa. We don't want us to be a head shorter later when Charles comes home and finds out we found you like this and let it get this far in the first place." That brought a little giggle to your lips.
“It’s a little disturbing to know that our misery is what can bring a little smile back on your face but right now that’s ok, I’ll let you get away with it.” You knew very well that Charles would reprimand you too for not calling them sooner. Especially now that they were both at home, since Arthur had no races for a while.
Lorenzo pulled the blanket over your shoulders and gently stroked your hair before he went to the door and pulled it closed behind him. Not five seconds later you were asleep.
✨✨-
"Uh, look who's here." Pascale turned to you in the kitchen with Dorothéa in her arms and your little angel stretched out her arms to you. "Did you sleep well?" You nodded to Pascale with a smile on your face and took Théa from her arms.
"I'm glad. We've both prepared breakfast for you before." She pointed to a plate with American pancakes, various berries and some honey on top.
"You didn't have to do that Pascale, but thank you. I really appreciate it." She took the plate and walked with you to the table where she took Théa out of your arms again so that you could have breakfast in peace.
"That's exactly why I love doing this for you. I know that you appreciate it very much, especially in the last few weeks. And especially now that Arthur and Lorenzo aren't here either, I don't want you to be alone." Pascale put a hand on your shoulder and you felt directly the warmth and love that Charles' mother had always had for you. Since the first day, she had welcomed you into her family and treated you like a daughter.
When Lorenzo and Arthur told her how they found you that one night a few weeks ago, she didn't let ten minutes pass before she was standing in front of the door with a packed bag and settled in the guest room.
You didn't want to let on too much, but it was a load off your mind to know that you were no longer alone, especially in this last part of the season for Charles when he was hardly ever home. Except for the last race of the season, all the races had been in North and South America since Théa was born and you didn't want Charles to fly to Europe for just a day or two for nothing only to have to go straight back. He should have all the power in the world to finally win the title.
But now he had finally made it to the last race of the season. Even before Charles could throw himself into the final battle for the drivers' world championship title, Pascale, you and Théa were sitting in front of the television to keep your fingers crossed for Arthur, because this day would also decide whether he would actually manage to win the title in his first season in Formula 2.
It was a pretty sobering race. And it broke your heart to see Arthur, in the battle for second place, which he had to achieve to win the championship, being taken out of the race by his main rival who was behind him.
The cameras briefly showed into the DAMS garage as Charles and Lorenzo embraced their little brother there a little later after the accident. The disappointment was written all over their faces, especially as Arthur had driven a great race and it wasn't his fault that he didn't get to lift the championship trophy that day.
"I hope so much that Charles doesn't let what happened to Arthur affect him." Pascale just came out of the kitchen with a sandwich and a drink for everyone. She handed you a plate and placed your glass on the side table in front of you. Théa was sleeping peacefully in your arms.
"He'll be fine. He just has to finish at least one place ahead of Max and at least two ahead of George. They both start behind him and even more than the places he needs them to be behind." The lights went out in Abu Dhabi and the emotions both in in your living room and in Abu Dhabi almost bubbled over until the last lap of the race.
✨✨-
It was still dark outside when you suddenly woke up. As you had done so many times before, you dared to look out of the window in your room and you could see the moon shining over the Mediterranean. It reflected so beautifully on the water that it almost brought tears to your eyes.
But something was different. There were two things that confused you. For one, the bed, on the side where Charles slept, had not been untouched as usual. Someone had been lying there. You turned slightly and dropped your head on the pillow on Charles' side of the bed.
Almost immediately, without delay, tears came to your eyes. You could filter that body odour out of a million men. After a few seconds you sat up in your bed and looked around the room.
Sure enough, there were clothes on the floor on the other side opposite the bed and in front of your wardrobe that hadn't been there when you went to bed. Still, you were slightly confused, as Charles had not been scheduled to come home that day.
The second thing that confused you was the fact that Théa hadn't woken you up that night. Normally, the little one had been awake at least two or three times. For a brief moment, the thought that something might have happened to her made your heart beat faster.
You slipped out from under the blanket you had wrapped around you and slowly made your way to the door of the room.
The door was open just a little crack and you could already hear him. His low humming was like music to your ears. Tears came to your eyes again as you opened the door further and quietly and with small steps groped towards your daughter's room.
Before you had even reached the door, you could see the two of them in the reflection of the mirror in Théa's room. Charles was sitting on the floor leaning against the wall with the little girl in his arms and kept alternating between humming and singing softly.
At first you didn't recognise the song he was singing, but suddenly a memory hit you like lightning.
✨- flashback -✨
"How about the Malia?" You looked over at Charles who had just sat back down with you on the sofa and put his hand directly on your stomach which was already about to burst.
"I don't know. Somehow I don't associate it with anything. It's a very beautiful name but it doesn't stir any emotions in me, negative or positive." Charles pursed his lips into a straight line for a moment but then nodded in agreement.
"Hmm, that's true. Well, we still have a little time to find a name. Can we keep watching?" You nodded as he point to the TV where Hamilton, the musical, was playing and then leaned back comfortably against your boyfriend who took the remote and started the musical again.
To your surprise, Charles had discovered his love for musicals in the last few weeks, maybe even months. Since you had just been ordered bed rest by the doctor anyway, it had suited you just fine as it gave you something to do when Charles was home.
Just as Christopher Jackson in his role as George Washington in sang the first lines of "History has its eyes on you" you felt a tugging in your abdomen for the first time but ignored it as your doctor had already warned you about Braxton Hicks and you assumed that was what was causing the tugging.
"Somehow I feel a bit like Alexander Hamilton." Charles tilted his head and looked at you from the side. "I'm out there, away every few weekends somewhere else, not fighting in a war but fighting for the world championship and you're at home like Eliza with our little angel in your belly." Only now did you notice the similarities Charles was talking about between the two worlds.
"I so ardently wish that you too win your battle and come home a resplendent winner." Charles focused on the musical again.
Just as the song ‘Dear Theodosia’ was intoned and the first lines were sung, an eerie pain tore through your abdomen. In the last few minutes there were brief periods of not too bad pulling that you could ignore, but this pain made you wince. Charles immediately paused the musical and put both hands on your shoulders.
"Charles something doesn't feel right." Tears streamed down your face and before you could say anything else, another eerie pain ripped through your abdomen, this time even making you cry out slightly.
Charles got up immediately, got your shoes and put them on your feet as quickly as he could before getting ready himself and within less than ten minutes you were at the hospital, probably due to the fact that it was close to midnight and in Monaco the distances were not too far anyway.
By chance, your doctor was working the night shift that very night and was immediately at your side.
"Ok, Y/N. take it easy. I know it's a bit earlier than expected but you'll be able to hold your little princess before the sun rises." Charles panicked almost more than you did. You knew you had the best doctor on your side and he would do anything for you and your little angel.
Charles knew that too. After all, he had chosen the doctor on the recommendation of many of his friends, but he had much more capacity in his brain to think things through twice and three times while he held your hand and while you just tried to cope with the pain.
Only 50 minutes passed before Charles was allowed to cut the umbilical cord at just before one o'clock in the morning and the next moment the little princess was lying on your chest. She immediately wrapped her little hand around your finger and stopped crying as soon as her father's hand rested on her back.
Your heart was full of love and next to you, you felt Charles’ tears dripping onto your shoulder while he was carefully stroking his daughters back. You looked over at him and gave him a kiss on the cheek.
“Thank you.” Charles wiped away the tears on his face then looked at you and placed a soft kiss against your forehead.
"I think I know the perfect name." With tears in your eyes, you looked back at your daughter for a brief moment before fixing your gaze back to Charles, who had rested his head lightly on yours but then sat up straight beside you and with a grin on his face, wiped a tear from your face with his second hand.
"Dorothéa Y/N Leclerc."
✨- flashback end -✨
Charles' soft voice brought you out of your thoughts and wrapped itself around your body like a warm cloth.
"Dear Dorothéa, what to say to you?
You have my eyes, you have your mother's name.
When you came into the world, you cried
And it broke my heart.
I'm dedicating every day to you -"
Charles fell silent for a moment and you could see in the mirror how he gave the little girl a kiss on the forehead. The little bundle of joy was gazing up at her father with big eyes and reached for him with her little hand.
"Not just every day I dedicate to you and your mama, but every breath I take. You are my everything. I would never have made it this far without you." Charles gave the little one another kiss, who still looked at him with wide eyes, and then he continued singing elsewhere in the song.
"Oh, Théa, when you smile I am undone
My girl, look at my girl"
It left you speachless to hear Charles sing these words. He adapted them to the situation, changed the name up but that didn't take away from the sentiment to it.
"Pride is not the word I'm looking for
There is so much more inside me now."
It made your heart blossom with all the emotions that you haven't felt like this the last couple of weeks.
Sadly it had been a lot of negativity and pain, feeling alone, that had dictated your state of mind the weeks Charles hasn't been home. But he is here now and you felt the change almost immediately.
"Oh, Théa, you outshine the morning sun
My girl
When you smile, I fall apart -"
With every word Charles sang of the song 'Dear Theodosia', which was the last one you heard before your brain forgot everything because of the pain and you could only really remember next the moments in the hospital just before giving birth and right after. Your smile grew wider and wider.
This was your boyfriend, your daughter's father, who instead of celebrating his World Championship title with his team in Abu Dhabi had boarded the first plane home and was now sitting on the floor of the nursery with his daughter in his arms, singing to her the song that the two of you would forever associate with the little one.
Even though there were some wry notes from Charles, he wasn't as excellent at everything as everyone always assumed him to be, the picture that presented itself before your eyes made your heart radiate and filled it with so much warmth that you couldn't stay in the dark hallway any longer and your feet carried you quietly into the room and you sank down on the floor beside Charles.
You rested your head on his shoulder and clasped your hands around his upper arm as Charles gave you a fleeting kiss on the forehead.
"You're here." That was all you could bring yourself to say. But no more words were needed either.
"From the second I crossed the finish line I knew where I wanted to be and who I wanted to celebrate this title with." Both your voices were not much more than a whisper and while Charles' presence made you feel more alive and awake than ever, Théa's eyes became smaller and smaller until they were completely closed.
"You and Théa are all I need and all I want. I've been away from you for far too long these past few weeks to spend even one more unnecessary second anywhere but by your side." You simply nodded and lifted your head from his shoulder to look at him and then gently placed your lips on his.
It was a feather light kiss, yet you felt all the weight of it. It had been far too long that Charles had sat so relaxed next to you without having to get on another plane the next day.
Charles detached himself from you and then stood up with Théa in his arms in front of him to put the little one in her cot. She didn't refuse at all and continued to sleep contentedly even as her daddy slowly moved away from her.
Charles reached out a hand and helped you to your feet before lifting you up by the waist and you reflexively wrapped your legs around his torso. So Charles carefully closed the door to Théa's room behind you and walked back to your room with you.
It was only when you were in front of your bed that he lowered you again and carefully placed you on the floor.
"Wait right there." The moon reflecting on the water shone on the exact spot Charles had placed you, lighting you up in Charles' eyes like an angel sent by God. He could hardly believe that you were the mother of his daughter, that you were the woman he wanted by his side forever he had known since he first saw you.
Charles walked to his bag which he had just thrown in the cupboard when he arrived because he just wanted to get into bed with you and feel you in his arms.
You could see him rummaging in the bag but you didn't know what exactly he was looking for. After a few minutes Charles turned back to you and came towards you. His eyes shone like those of a small child who had received presents for the first time.
He took your hands in his and without taking another breath he went down on his knee in front of you and held a beautiful ring glittering in the moonlight on your finger.
"I've waited four years for this moment. I told you on our first date that I wanted to marry you one day and all my friends clapped their hands in front of their faces when they heard about me telling you that on our first date. But you didn't run away. You told me to focus on my life's dream first and become world champion because you didn't want you to distract me from it but you Y/N were the reason why I fought for it. You and for the last two months our little princess. The thought of finally being able to kneel here in front of you and ask you this question was what drove me more than anything else, because you and Théa are the most important things in my life. Please stay by my side forever."
Contrary to your expectations, which you had imagined, if you had thought now and then of the moment when Charles would finally ask you, tears did not come to your eyes, but a radiant smile spread across your face.
You had never forgotten your first date and you had always wondered if Charles was really going to take what you said serious.
But that night, it was the last thing on your mind as you saw him sitting there on the floor with your daughter in his arms. Because even without the ring on your finger, it felt to you like you had been married for a long time.
Charles was the only one you wanted by your side from the first day you met him and that's why, contrary to many expectations, it didn't scare you when he said he wanted to marry you four years ago.
"Yes! Nothing would please me more." Charles slowly put the ring on your finger then got up and placed his hands on the side of your face before he pulled up to him and pressed his lips onto yours. A kiss that held so many emotions and memories for the future to look back to when thinking about this moment.
“Thank you for being the best mother and person by my side that one could ever ask for. I love you.” Your heart beat a little faster upon hearing these words from Charles. You placed another soft but this time quick kiss to his lips.
“I love you too.”

'Que las noches sin ti duelen'
"How many times do we have to listen to this song, Pedri?"
"What? You don't like it?" he turned to look at his friend who was next to him in the car.
"It's not like I don't like it, I just got bored of it"
Pedri laughed.
"Are you sure that's the reason?" he teased.
"Ok, end it here" Gavi said before the two of them sat silent in the car, while the music was still on.
Pedri was taking Gavi home again after the training. It was already 5 p.m. and tomorrow, they have to do some videos about the new Barca kit, so the moment Gavi went to his house, he went directly to his bathroom to take another shower.
"Why is he showering again?" his sister questioned her mom, being concerned about her little brother. He already showered after his training in the changing room with his teammates.
Her mom remained silent until she decided to continue the conversation.
"It doesn't seem like he is good. Are you sure you don't know what happened to him?"
Of course, she knows. He's been acting weird since the night their friend groups went together on the beach. She knew that you were the reason for his sadness. She stayed with the boy all night while he was crying in her arms. He never told the reason, nor did she asked, because as his older sister, she knows when Pablo is suffering towards a girl. Although, Aurora never told their mom this thing. She respected her brother's privacy.
"No" she just answered simply, before going to her room to not continue this subject.
It was true that Pablo Gavi was showering more lately, which doesn't seem so weird until you question yourself about it. He stays hours in his bathroom.
Crying.
He hadn't seen you since that day and it had been almost 4 weeks. He missed you a lot, and he had no one to talk to. He knew that his sister would be mad at him for falling in love with her friend, who didn't even talk to him, and Pedri.. he was going to make fun of him. He had to keep it all to himself, and the emotions sometimes got him. Crying while people think that he's showering was the best idea that came into his mind. Like that, his family wouldn't hear his sobs.
He didn't eat.. not yet. Aurora started to get more concerned, so she knocked at his door.
"Mami made you some pollo con arroz, want to come down to the kitchen to eat?" she asked hoping for a positive answer.
"Maybe later, gracias"
She barely heard him, but it was enough to know that his voice wasn't his normal one.
"Estas bien, hermanito?"
"Si"
That si had to be a strong word, but it only came from his mouth as a sob.
His sister felt like someone had just broken her heart. Hearing her brother at the edge of crying was something so hurtful. Pablo was one of the sweetest guys, and he doesn't deserve anything that could make him sad.
She waited a few seconds after talking again, trying to find the perfect way to say what she wanted.
"Come here, Pablo"
"Come outside, I know you aren't showering right now. Let's meet in the kitchen in 10 minutes. You have to eat and we to talk. I'm gonna tell our parents to leave, we'll be alone."
After that, Aurora left.
She managed to find a reason for their parents to go out of the house, and when Pablo came and sat on the chair that was in front of her, her heart broke again.
His eyes were red and puffy. The boy clearly had been crying for hours!
She didn't say anything more, only went to him and hugged him. Tight. Pablo returned the hug, trying so hard not to cry in front of his older sister. He accidentally escaped some sobs, but Aurora didn't mind. She hugged him until he calmed down completely.
"You have to tell me what is happening to you, Pablo. This is something serios"
"It's nothing, Rora."
"I know you, Gavira" she said with a serious face.
"I am just scared that the next season I won't play that much" he lied
"Oh, you're getting on my nerves. I really want to help you, but if you keep lying to me, then we won't go anywhere. I won't get mad, I promise you."
"I..I really like one of your friends," he said after some time.
"Go on" she encouraged him.
"And she doesn't give me attention at all. We barely even talked, and I'm sure that she doesn't feel the same way as me. She doesn't even look at me as a friend."
"Y/n, right?"
He started to panick at the thought that she knew.
"I'm so -" he wanted to apologise until he was interrupted again.
"It's ok, Pablo. No worries, ok? It's not your fault that you like her-"
"Kinda love her," he said sadly before turning his head to another direction, afraid not to cry again.
Aurora smiled. Pablo Gavi was never this soft. He was a sweety, of course, but she never saw his little brother like that, and she kinda likes the idea of having you even closer.
"You don't have to worry about me, hermanito. Go talk more to her and I'm sure she will like you. You are a great boy, and let's be serious. Who wouldn't fall in love with you?"
They both laughed.
The next day, Aurora invited her friends to their house.
------
"Will Pablo stay with us?" asked one of Aurora's friends.
"Yes, he has some plans to do," she said, and they all looked confused.
"What do you mean?"
She just winked at them and then started laughing.
"Ohh, he is in love, isn't him?" You finally spoke after being quiet for a while.
"Oh, you wouldn't know," answered his sister before you borrowed your eyebrows, confused.
You decided not to say anything anymore, but you felt some pain in your chest, and when you saw Gavi walking past you to sit on the couch near some girl, your heart felt like it just had broken. Your eyes couldn't not look into his.
He wasn't looking at you. Of course, he wouldn't. He is a famous football player, he is for sure in love with some influencer or with a beautiful lady that has the perfect body.
The truth is that he wasn't looking at you because he knew that if he would, he couldn't stop moving his eyes away from you. He knew that if he saw you, even for a second, he would lose control. He couldn't even stand the fact that you were there, far but so close to him.
Aurora saw you looking intense at her brother, so she decided to help both of you.
"Hermanitoo, come here a second, por fa"
"What?" answered the boy after standing up while going near his sister.
"If you really want to stay with us, then we should play something together. God knows when we will stay together again like this. We have to enjoy every minute!"
"What game?"
"Truth or dare!"
"Oh, I'm not playing that stupid game of yours"
"Then you won't stay with us"
Everyone was cheering for Gavi to play, but the only thing that made him not go was you. He really wanted to stay with you. He even sat down beside you, really, really close to another.
The truth is that you hate this game. You never enjoyed playing it, but this time, you felt like you wanted to stay.
You feared that something was to happen, and when it really happened, you couldn't do anything but panick hard. Of course, Aurora would ask you something like this after you said dare.
"I dare you to kiss my brother!"
"What-no"
"It's a dare, y/n"
You argued a lot with his sister, and you didn't even realise when Pablo turned your face into his, and he touched your lips with his. The kiss was everything you've ever imagined, and it was the best one you've ever had.
When you looked into his eyes, nothing was coming out of your mouth. You couldn't love this boy, could you? He barely even talked to you.
Gavi, on the other side, was the happiest that he finally managed to do that, and he for sure winked after to his sister as a "thank you". She only returned his smile, being happy for the both of you.
You didn't say anything until it was late and you decided to go home.
Pablo somehow excused himself, finding a way to be only with you. He didn't even know where this courage came from, but he was so thankful for it.
"I'm sorry you had to kiss me" you finally spoke.
"It was just a game after all, it didn't mean anything"
Oh, and how stupid he was for saying that. Full regret starting to feel in all of his body.
You couldn't say anything. You froze there, not being able to leave the room.
You knew he didn't feel the spark that you felt. Even yourself couldn't believe that this past weeks all you thought about was him. The moment he kissed you, your heart felt like it healed and was the best feeling you've ever felt in a while. You felt alive and.. happy.
He knew he fucked everything up.
"I'm so-"
"It's ok. Really. Like, I get it!"
"What-"
"No, like- I get it you don't.. like me. I get it that you don't even want to.. talk to me? See me? I completely understand you. Maybe I would ruin your career if people see us together. Maybe-"
"Para!"
"Maybe you just stood with us, because your girlfriend couldn't meet you today or-"
"Y/n, para!!"
You did anything other than stop yourself from talking.
"And I can't even believe myself how I managed to be like the other girls. To.. start to like you and-"
"You what?"
Now you only stopped, just because you realised that you said it out loud. It was like you admitted yourself to what you feel for him.
You started to panick and quickly got out of his house, with him following you.
"No, wait!"
He managed to take your hand and stop you.
"You like me?" he said softly with tears in his eyes.
"No, it's just-"
"Dime la verdad, y/n"
He had hope in his eyes.
"Por favor.."
You looked at him. You just couldn't stay there and lie to him. Lie to those pretty eyes.
"I don't even believe myself for this-"
"Tell me!"
"Joder, yes! Yes, I like you!"
He smiled.
"I can't believe this."
"Lo siento, Gavi. I know you-"
"No! Don't say anything anymore. You know nothing. You have no idea how long I wanted to hear you say it. To hear that you like me."
He looked into your eyes and smiled.
"Can I kiss you..please.." he finally found the courage to say it.
You were shocked. Completely shocked.
He laughed at your face, but knew that you wanted it so he did it. He kissed you.
This time, it was different. It didn't feel like it was something rushed. It was slow, full of love and adoration.
"I've liked you for so long, you have no idea. Now, can I finally call you mine, amor?"
You smiled widely.
"Por supuesto!"
I hope I didn't disappoint you with this one..
I have so many ideas of how could I have continued this, but it would have been too long, but I could make a part 3???
When they say "I love you" for the first time or when they introduce their relationship to their friends and families?
I can also do one where we have y/n's version of the story????
What do you say about it?
Shall be a part 3 to this one??
Thank you for the waiting, and thank you if you are reading this. It means a lot to me that you also read this part and took some time of yours to enjoy my stories. I wish you a nice day and don't forget.. love yourself!!
I have a request that asks him "Jealous Gavi," so it will be out soon. I hope that it will be really soon done. I'm working on it
