Some finds from field herping (with some extra feathered and chitinous friends) today! That angry turtle pissed for about forty seconds straight and that little one was a splooting diva.
That sweet little toad had actually had a stick in his belly (I noticed while taking pics) and my love and I removed it out of him and tidied up the wound, which was thankfully just a small pucker since the stick was so tiny and slight, and didn't seem to hit anything important. I was considering taking him home to monitor him, bit he got away and hopped off to where I couldn't teach him. He seemed to be just fine so here's to hoping the little fellow makes it well out there.
I need a way for my turtle to get up the her basking platform and I was wondering what people thought about a duplo block staircase (big legos). I did a quick google and most sites agreed that lego bricks don't leech chemicals, but should not be put in aquariums bc they have sharp edges, can be swallowed, etc. I was wondering what people thought about duplos though? Google searching for duplos safety specifically just brings up legos
