Also, if you haven’t read it, Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell brings joy to my soul and as an anxious person and made me feel so seen and understood, and it was just a great read and I would highly recommend it
FANGIRL!! 😭😭 i read this book so long ago but it’s so dear to my heart! i definitely agree. i loved having a protagonist that was an avid reader because i’m like hey.....that’s me <3

You know, the very first time I saw you, Harry, I recognized you immediately. Not by your scar, by your eyes. They’re your mother, Lily’s. Yes, oh yes. I knew her. Your mother was there for me at a time when no one else was. Not only was she a singularly gifted witch, she was also an uncommonly kind woman. She had a way of seeing the beauty in others, even and perhaps, most especially when that person couldn’t see it in themselves. Then your father, James, on the other hand. He had a certain, shall we say talent, for trouble. The talent, rumor has it, he passed onto you. You are more like them than you know, Harry. In time you’ll come to see just how much.

endless list of favourites: [3/?] movies ♡ the twilight saga (2008 - 2012)
“ When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like, astronauts, president… or in my case, a princess. When we were ten, they asked again. We answered, a rock star, cowboy, or in my case, a gold medalist. But now that we’re grown up, they want a serious answer. Well, how about this. Who the hell knows? This isn’t the time to make hard and fast decisions; this is a time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere. Fall in love… a lot. Major in philosophy, because there’s no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind, and change it again, because nothing’s permanent. So, make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask what we want to be, we won’t have to guess… we’ll know. ”
