What I think is a Tussock Moth Caterpillar. Obviously I couldnt really pick it up to get a better look at it, just in case it /was/ a tussock (their hairs cause incredibly irritated stinging. Dont touch.) So I still need to double check later.
Saw this little guy when I was out for a walk on a trail. The caterpillar was hard to photograph because it was pretty small and I almost didn’t notice it on the guardrail. It’s a tussock moth caterpillar. The caterpillar isn’t poisonous, but they can cause itchy rashes if the prickly hairs contact your skin.
