Summary: In which Damon and Y/N have a conversation since both of them want to get things off of their chests and when they talk, some confessions get revealed.

You paced in the kitchen nervously waiting for you husband Damon to come home from work. You had some big news to tell him but, you didn't know how he was going to react to any of it. You were scared he was going to be mad or upset.

You walked to the fridge and grabbed some water and began to sip it hoping it would help calm your nerves. This was not something you could just hide from him either. It was big news and it heavily involved him.

As you were sipping your water you herd the front door open. You walked out and saw Damon coming in, closing and locking the door behind him. You smiled when you saw him and walked over to him.

"Hey baby." You said with a smile.

"Hello angel baby." He said smiling back and planted a loving kiss to your lips. You put your glass of water down on the table and then wrapped your arms around his neck. He smiled and held onto your waist.

You could tell that there was something up with Damon, almost like he wanted to tell you something too. You tilted your head looking at him.

"Are you okay Damon?" You asked.

"Uh, yeah I'm okay." He said with a nod.

"Are you sure?" You asked. Damon went silent for a few minutes and then he caved in.

"Actually, I did want to talk to you about something. I'm just nervous about what your reaction will be if I tell you." He said. So he was feeling the exact same way you were feeling right now, you were curious to know what he was thinking.

"Baby, you don't have to be scared to tell me anything. I love you and you know I support you always and I would always listen to you if you wanted to talk about anything and everything." You said.

"I know.." He said.

"So, would you like to talk about it now?" You asked. Damon just nodded. "Okay." You said and then led him upstairs into your shared bedroom with him. You both sat down on the bed beside eachother.

After the two of you took a minute or so to calm your nerves you both decided now was a good time to start the conversation. You couldn't lie, not only were you nervous to tell him your news but, now you were kinda scared about what he needed to say.

"Okay, do you want to go first?" You asked.

"Sure." He said. "Well, we have been married for a few years now and I love our marriage the way it is now, I love being with you everyday and knowing that your my wife but.." He stopped for a moment.

"But what?" You asked.

"Well, I was thinking that maybe we need to add something to this family." He said. You were thinking that he was just going to ask to get a dog or a cat or something.

"What do you think we need to add to this family?" You asked.

"Well, it's just that... I was thinking if we were both ready, maybe now is a good time to start making our own family." He said.

"Wait- do you mean-" Before you could finish, Damon cut you off.

"I want to try for a baby." Damon blurted out. You sat there in shock that he actually wanted to start a family now. You knew that Damon did want kids someday but he was always saying that it was too soon. So, now that he was saying he wanted them now well, that made your nerves about telling him your news go away.

"Really? You want to try for a baby?" You asked with a smile.

"Yeah.." He smiled and nodded.

"Well, I have news for you that I think will make you very happy then." You said.

"What is it?" He asked. You smiled and got up and went into the washroom. You then came back out with something small in your hand. You sat back down on the bed and then you handed it to him. Damon took it and then looked at it. It was a pregnancy test.

"I- wait- are you really?" He asked. You smiled and nodded.

"I'm pregnant." You said with a big smile. Damon was speechless for a moment but, you could tell that he was super happy to hear this news, that you were pregnant with his baby. He looked at you with a big smile.

You then giggled and squealed when he very gently tackled you onto the bed and then peppered your face with kisses before nuzzling your neck.

"I love you so much." Damon said.

"I love you too baby." You said with a giggle. The two of you then laid there talking about your future together and your future with your baby. You both were so excited to meet your baby and you were excited to see what the next chapter of your life was going to give you.
