Him joking about cults while he is actively running one is disgusting and amazingly terrifying.

Whenever I hear stories about demons possessing dolls (like Annabelle) and there's like a Christian exorcist/demonologist (that's all I've really heard so far, idk if this is different with different faiths) who's explaining stuff it's always said how like even though the doll claimed to have a ghost of a loved one or child or someone harmless it actually had a demon the whole time because spirits don't have the power to possess things like dolls, but demons do

So like

It gives like an interesting idea for a horror story with a doll possessed by a beloved family member and somewhere near the beginning it offhandedly mentions the whole "only demons have the power to possess dolls" thing as a slight foreshadowing and it's not really brought up again until after the demon is revealed

Cause like

It's right there

They say it right out

But no one would really think much of it, right? There's lots of stories of normal ghosts possessing dolls, so why would they suspect anything different?

Was anyone else who had to go to a christian school at some point in their lives also misinterpreting the entire Bible? I deadass thought Jesus was just some Jewish/Roman kid who came up with a new idea about mankind’s relation to god, and that he was just really good at math.
