"target audience Byler"
"Tags Billy Hargrove"
Hmm I think Byler is NOT your intended audience. You people really do love fantasizing about hate crimes in a haha fun way don't you. The internalized homophobia is still running strong in you people.

What's going on with Ιεχωβαδες here in Greece? Recently some of them knocked our door and asked questions like "are you aware that you life is unhappy?" Etc. Of course they got ignored but many people in my town go to their "cult meetings" and i am a little concerned 😔
Not just in one town, many of my friends have encountered them and all very recently so I don't know what occasion for them it's happening, but it's not coincidence all of them go around trying to gather followers.
Also i had no idea who they were until recently, but all the cults are the same of course they prey on people easily manipulative.
I am a little uncomfortable with the use of the word “cult”, nowadays I think it sounds too negative. They are an officially recognised Christian denomination (outside of the mainstream church though). It’s not the denomination itself but convertionists do give a bad look to it with the pressure they put to other people.
A Jehovah’s Witness did approach my grandma at some point. Little did she know she had targeted the most immovable entity on the planet. My grandma was like “lol I ‘d love to see you try” and they ended up being friends without one converting the other after all.
I have never been approached personally and I wasn’t aware they have apparently hardened their game recently. What really concerned me on the other hand was that heresy in Thessaloniki pretending to do exorcisms and people attending them? What the fuck

aaron bushnell knew exactly what he was doing. he states his intentions with total lucidity and sense of purpose. he knows what he's about to do is extreme--he says so. he speaks calmly, but he's clearly terrified. he takes a deep breath after pouring the accelerant over himself. he has to psyche himself up to light the flame. he struggles with the lighter. he says "free palestine" normally once before he starts to scream it. even through his agony he manages to say it one last time before he stops being able to speak at all. this is a man with total conviction. he wanted to help people, in any way possible. this action was a moral one, and any news outlet painting this as simply a mental health issue is a disservice to his memory. he knew what he was doing when he burned himself in uniform. he knew that there was a chance that sacrificing his own life could go on to save many others. this was the ultimate act of selflessness, and it should be treated as such. may he rest in peace.

jesus suffered under mary; looking mothers in the eyes and telling her she never hurt anyone - tell her she’s perfect, you never could’ve known - never could’ve saved me.
mother, you could never have predicted my personal crucifixion. you never could’ve known - never could’ve saved me.
i am the thief on the third cross, scanning the crowd, i am in the ninth grade on stage - mom isn’t in the auditorium. i am thirteen and im in the chair - mom can’t watch. look at me. look at me.
i’m sorry that my hands are bloody. i’m sorry i was born a mule when you prayed for a lamb, i’m sorry i didn’t fit on the altar. still, you know i sacrificed - i sacrifice and suffer and shock. look at my feet. look at me. there’s not enough lamb’s blood on our doorpost.
- if you refused to watch your daughter undergo shock therapy, maybe you should’ve saved her.

It is okay to need pain medication to function with your chronic pain. It is okay. I promise. I know everywhere you turn pain medication is demonized. I know that it is scary to talk about. It is okay to be grateful that you have access to pain medication. Pain meds have greatly improved my quality of life and I wouldn't be able to live my life outside of my bed without them. And that's okay!!!

I’m still nearly crying laughing from this interaction that happened yesterday.
I wore my Magen David in French lecture. It is 8:30 in the morning. I sat down next to this random girl that I’d never really seen before.
She looks at me for 0.7 seconds before starting to avidly sketch palestenian flags on her notes for the next hour and a half. Like pages and pages of the symbol, glancing at me the entire time.
Whoaaa, you really showed me up. I’m deeply offended and don’t know what to do with myself ! Help! I’m meeeeelting! The supposed Zionism in me is burning!!
Like I have no opinions on that flag. No grudge or resentment. But what makes someone go angry bird attack mode when seeing a symbol that’s Jewish adjacent?

I think a lot of discussions would be made better by recognizing that masculinity and femininity aren't inherently preferred, but adherence to cishet standards is, which is slightly different.
This is why a masculine trans man* or a feminine trans woman* often still face stigma - it isn't that they aren't gender conforming to the gender they are. It is that cishetero standards do not want trans people to exist at all, in any capacity.

incredibly uncomfortable finding out a mutual of mine (thankfully one i wasn't very close to) has been rbing shit complaining about "theyfabs." absolutely vile, if you think that shit is anywhere near okay please weed yourselves out. unfollow, block me, whatever. apparently i haven't been vocal enough about this
your transphobia and bioessentialism is not made progressive by supposedly doing it in defense of other trans people
afab trans people don't have privilege over amab trans people. different experiences do not inherently mean one is better, more desirable, or more privileged than the other. it means they're different
afab vs amab is a reductive binary that not only ignores so many complexities of experience and brushes away even the attempt at intersectionality, but it contributes to the ever-present problem of perisex trans people only acknowledging that intersex people exist when it's convenient to do so. also your bioessentialism is not made progressive by supposedly doing it in defense of other trans people
i've made nicer worded posts about this but they seem to have gone under the radar so let me try again. tme vs tma is a dumb ass fucking excuse for any sort of "analysis" and shows everyone you have no idea what the hell you're talking about. NOBODY is "exempt" from transmisogyny that's the fucking point of systems of oppression!!! they're SYSTEMS!!! white people are not racism exempt! non-muslims are not islamophobia exempt! skinny people are not fatphobia exempt! straight people are not homophobia exempt! stop talking out of your ass and think about your words for longer than five goddamn seconds! also! your bioessentialism is not made progressive by supposedly doing it in defense of other trans people!
stop attacking other trans people! there is an entire fucking attempted genocide happening and you're here just spinning your wheels in the fucking mud getting pissy at random trans people over the internet who are in the exact same struggle as you are! you're not getting anywhere! all you're succeeding in doing is LITERALLY creating new slurs to be used by transphobes against those who should be your fucking siblings
your transphobia and bioessentialism is not made progressive by supposedly doing it in defense of other trans people. it wasn't cute when kalvin garrah did it. it's not cute when blair white does it. and it's not fucking cute when you do it either

“Hey, peeps,” Xisuma said as he strolled into the room, “Anyone know what ‘rizz’ is supposed to mean? I saw one of the kids in the hub use it in chat and I’m a little lost.”
Jevin, sitting in the corner snacking on a cinderblock, visibly cringed.
“Shishwammy! I thought I knew you better! You know exactly what that means. Or do we have to talk about the parrots and the bats again?” Keralis pretended to look scandalized, and Xisuma rolled his eyes.
“No, Keralis, this one starts with an “R.” Anyway, does anyone know?”
“Is it like dabbing? Or updog? That was the fad last week, I think.” Joe called, barely glancing up from his book.
“No, no, no! Dabbing never went outta style. Hang on, lemme ask the weird people on the birdwatching group chat about this rizz thing. They think I’m cool!” Bdubs said, before hammering on his comm’s keyboard.
“The speed of memes these days is enough to make your head spin.” Joe sighed, closing his book with a snap, “I finally added “cringefail” to my lexicon and I bet it’ll be it’ll be passé by next week.”
“I just ignore the memes. They do things; it no bother me.” Keralis said brightly, and Joe hummed thoughtfully.
“Y’know, that’s probably a good way to be. Why waste time trying to keep up with-“
“I GOT IT! THE WEIRD BIRDWATCHING PEOPLE! They say it’s like…charisma? Like, cha-RIZZ-ma…oh, I see, that’s very clever. So like- I have a TON of charisma, so I have- LOADS of rizz-“
“Oh, Bubbles, you don’t need to tell me twice-“
“QUIET, YOU- and like, Xisuma, he’s got. Negative rizz! Yeah that’s what it is.”
“Seems a bit silly to me, but what do I know?” Xisuma sighed.
“Well, the natural progression of language can’t be stopped. Either you accept it or make yourself crazy. Let the words do what they will.” Joe said, opening his book again.
Finally, Jevin piped up from his hidden corner.
“Every time you people try to understand a new meme, it causes me physical fucking pain, and I don’t even have a nervous system.”

I LOVEEEE DOG GALLIGAR I NEED MORE
please read the rules and regulations next time anon cuz I'll ignore asks that don't follow format. Anyways I'm a big gallagher simp so I can't ignore a humble request. here's a quick sketch of farmer!reader and (yandere utc) dog!gallagher + extra brainrots cooked up 1 AM cuz I just finished a school output
Tumblr media
Domestic Fluff/Crack:
You rarely buy chocolate after taking Gallagher in. Not because you're worried that the canine might randomly eat some and get a "lethal" dose— but because he simply looks disgruntled whenever you take a bite. He went on quite a long tangent about how it doesn't taste that great and you would much rather not hear it a second time.
In your first week together, you might've gone overboard and bought every dog care product you could think off. Gallagher heartily laughed when he saw you bought one of every shampoo— and then his heart dropped when you pulled out a pet razor next in the shopping bag. Needless to say, his silence saved his skin. Or well, in this case, fur.
You often pondered over the ethics of having a half-human in your home. It's not that you treat him poorly or bar him from opportunities elsewhere, but you remind him from time to time that he can leave the farm if he wants to. In which, he would either a) put a hand on your shoulder and earnestly decline or b) joke about how he's going to bite you if you ask again.
Speaking of jokes, he never tells you about his past— which was a decision you respected. However, it's become an inside joke for the two of you to make up his backstory and how you met. When your traveler friend Boothill once came to visit, you both told him that Gallagher was actually an ex-police dog who decided he's tired of snitching where the drugs were when "it's always hidden in cushions anyways". When the local innkeeper Siobhan asked where did he come from, he said he was once a bartender— and you made a convincing follow-up that it was the reason behind his distaste for SoulGlad. He even shocked everyone when he had the skills to back that lie up. You swear that every time, the story and people's reactions become more and more priceless.
Yandere:
But not everyone is elusive of his true nature.
That's why he hates whenever your neighbor "Sunday" visits.
Gallagher doesn't want it to happen, but that man seems to always discern the facade he's putting on. He doesn't like it at all. He always had to hold back a sharp stare and a growl whenever he's around. But that man. That hawk...
Why does he always cling to you like a pest?
He knows- he knows you're friends with him and that Robin girl since childhood- but shouldn't those numerous interactions suffice? Why does HE keep stealing your time together? That Sunday is a hybrid himself— he should know that someone has already marked this household territory.
Still, that bird perches on your porch, greeting you with a smile that you'll reciprocate. But the cunning glimpses he sends Gallagher indicates that they equally find the other person bothersome.
"What're you doing here?" Gallagher scoffed. "Don't you have a Family to go back to?"
Sunday smiled politely, though with how his hands are always hidden from the dog's view, he can only guess that it's clenched in a tight fist.
"And you don't?"
"(Y/n) is my Family."
"Before they were yours, they were mine."
That caught Gallagher's attention.
... Isn't that technically the truth? Even without papers, isn't the bond you, Robin, and that fiend share essentially a strong familial bond? He had only heard snippets in town and from yourself, but you three had known each other almost since birth.
So... What does that make him?
A pet?
A hound?
A friend?
A partner?
Or a mere passing memory?
Despite these thoughts, he steeled his resolve and shook his head, subconsciously holding his neck. There's no collar. Nothing that physically binds him to you. And, for reasons he didn't quite placed at the time, he hated the sensation of freedom.
He hated being free.
He hated being detached from you.
"With what to prove, huh?" Gallagher snarled. "Leave. They're asleep. Don't bother them today— or ever again."
He volunteered to patrol for the next nights to hide his insomnia. Gallagher did not understand where most these emotions stemmed from. Why would he wish to be shackled when he just got himself out or a cage? You were kind enough to supply him with basic necessities and allow him to do whatever he wants after work is done— so why this emptiness?
But when he came back home at dawn after unlocking the door with the spare key you gave him— he got his answer.
He felt his feet drag him to your door. Before he could even process what was happening, Gallagher was seated at a nearby chair, tenderly caressing your face.
This was the answer he was looking for. The raison d'etre. All resolved under three words:
"You... I want you."
And for a while, that was enough.

This so-called “apology” is completely inadequate and rings hollow. Claiming it was just an “accident” that she liked an ableist tweet is not a valid excuse. She made a choice to like that harmful content and actions have consequences. Saying she “takes the topic of Autism very serious” while liking ableist tweets is hypocritical.
Unliking the tweet after the fact would have been the bare minimum — she should not have engaged with such harmful content in the first place. But lying about unliking it (because she did not unlike it, the original poster deleted it) completely undermines any sense that this apology is sincere.
Furthermore, invoking her brother with autism as a defense is unacceptable. Having neurodivergent loved ones does not give you a free pass to promote ableism without consequence. Proximity to marginalized communities does not justify ignorance and bigotry. Using him to defend herself centers her experience over his, exploiting his identity for her own gain. That is appallingly self-serving.
If she truly cares about her brother, she should educate herself on ableism, listen to disabled activists, and stop promoting harmful stereotypes rather than wielding his identity as a shield when called out. This non-apology makes clear she has a lot more learning and growing to do.
Meaningful growth requires accountability, not flimsy excuses. A real apology centers the harm done to marginalized communities, not her own guilt. It requires concrete commitments to do better — educate yourself, amplify disabled voices, examine your own ableism. This apology checks none of those boxes. It prioritizes her feelings over the trauma inflicted on disabled people. That is unacceptable. Do better.
