[Image description: a post by thetimetostrikeislater with an interview by Shatner that says, "He's an alpha male bellowing his alpha male cry, like I have seen an elk do," Shatner explained in commentary for a 35th anniversary director's cut of the film." The caption says, "So who wants to edit the famous KHAN!!! cry with a elk over the top?"
Followed by a 6 second clip from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan with Kirk yelling Khan, however it has been dubbed over to have an elk yell instead.
This ask kinda of reminded me, Ive been kinda exploring the whole sleeplessness situation recently through a short (really rough) r moving image project for college. We had 24 hrs to make it but the actual brief is what was interesting. It was on "The passage of time" through 2 themes (mine being showering and sleep) and essentially how sleep deprivation can lead to you daydreaming/hallucinating in the shower till you become all pruney lol
I just find that all the research you (@meowufff ) do into sleeplessness and stuff is actually really interesting and can take you down some very abstract paths for inspiration and study of the mind for art. Id love to see where it goes. the mind-scrambling of it all brings joy lol
If watching true crime has taught me anything; it’s that the criminal justice system very often does jack shit about obvious cases of child abuse, and only takes it seriously after the parents kill the child.
[i just have a really bad feeling about this place]
[???no!stop!don't!??]
"every night it was the same dream. the same...nightmare. every time she waited for her salvation, someone was going to come and save her. but no one ever did. so every night she burned, scared and alone."
