what should i affirm for respawning?
(Quick note: My internet has been failing on and off all day/night, so I might not have another post up tonight, but hopefully it'll be fixed by tomorrow?? So sorry abt that!!)
Doing the asks a lil out of order, sorry this took so long btw!
Before I start, I’m going to quickly clarify the difference between respawning and permashifting, just to make sure you make the best choice! (Affs and advice included at the end.) :>
.
To quickly remind everyone:
Respawning is shifting and scripting that you completely forget your OR/CR. It is completely cutting ties with your original reality, and is irreversible. IT DOES NOT MEAN DYING IN THIS REALITY!!! A version of you will still remain behind, so absolutely DO NOT give up on life here, or make plans to end your own life! It will not, in any way, help to do that. /srs
(I urgently repeat, do not attempt to hurt yourself or take your own life just because you’re desperate to shift. Dying is a long-term solution to temporary problems, and will only forward pain onto those around you, as well as those you care about. Respawning is not about that. Dying is not part of respawning. Self-harm of any kind is not part of respawning. It will not help. Please, take care of yourselves and stay safe.)
Permashifting is shifting and simply not coming back. You still remember your OR/CR perfectly well, but you just willingly don’t come back. This decision is reversible, should you so choose to come back, someday.
So Respawning is permanent, and Permashifting is reversible!
.
Now that that’s cleared up, affirmations for respawning, permashifting, and regular shifting are generally pretty similar.
Any normal affirmations will work, such as “I am shifting”/”I have shifted”/”I am my desired self”/etc etc. That said, there are specific subliminals for respawning which you might find particularly useful! Since it’s such a big decision, I’d recommend ‘shopping around’ a bit on youtube to find some good, reliable sources (should you choose to use them), such as channels like Slade, Kween Subs, and mxrahki. :>
Something that could also help (and that helps in general with shifting) is affirming things specific to your DR self, but as if they’re already true and present in your reality surrounding you. Examples could include affirming your DR self’s name (like saying “My name is XYZ”) or where you live, as well as where you intend to wake up.
If you’re looking for basic affirmations, though, a good list would include smth along the lines of:
I am in my desired reality. I have respawned into my desired reality. I am pure consciousness. I am choosing to experience my desired reality. I am a master shifter. Shifting is as simple as breathing. I shift often.
Alternatively, some people find it easier to phrase the affirmations like questions! This is also an option to try out, if you believe it could help! Those would go more along the lines of:
Why is shifting so easy for me? Why can’t I stop shifting? Why do I shift every time I try? Why do I always shift on the first try? Why do I shift so often? How am I this good at shifting?
.
TLDR: Shifting affirmations between respawning, permashifting, and normal shifting aren't all that different, as it's still the same process, just with a slightly different end result.
Shifting is also super personal, so experiment and see what works best for you! Hopefully that made some sense?? I'm a little tired, but happy to upload something for you all! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send another ask! :3c

What do you think about respawn/permashifting?
Eyyyy! Admin Jax here
I have decided to take this topic because I like this question!
In the shifting community, we do have a lot of negativity around respawning and permashifters. So today, I would like to get rid of some of that, for anyone who may see this.
Since this is a touchy subject, I am adding a keep reading bar.
TW/Below will be mentions of d*ath/dy*ng.
For those who do not know the difference between permashifting and respawning,
Respawning is leaving this original reality behind. You may see "OR" used, which means Original Reality. Respawning has a lot of negativity around it because people assume it means you are dying here. That is a bigggg misconception. Respawning is just cutting all ties to this reality and not coming back.
As for Permashifting,
Permashifting is shifting to your desired reality "DR" and staying there permanently. The main difference is, that most permashifters don't remove all ties from here. They just don't put their consciousness back here.
Both mean not returning, just one is removing ties from here.
As for my opinion on it, I have debated permashifting. I have never considered respawning, but I do not judge anyone who does (within them not telling people they are going to sewer slide to leave.). I think it is normal to not want to return. Shifting is full of wonderful opportunities, adventures, acceptance, friendship, confidence, and much more.
It is completely fine to not return, as for it is completely fine to change your mind and return (one thing with Permashifting is you can change your mind, it just changes to a regular shift). It is fine to just want to go for the day or a week, or however long.
I think that once you research it, you learn about misconceptions versus what actually happens, it isn't bad or taboo or negative.
Every journey is unique to the person and I think as a community, we have to support each other. (Within reason). I know a lot of our admins are permashifters, this reality doesn't treat everyone right and this world is stressful.
A quick summary is, that it is completely fine and normal and misconceptions are the only negative thing I can think about with the topic!
I hope that answers your question!
Sincerely, Admin Jax - 🌩️

I was walking a dog, except it wasn’t my dog, it was Iggy from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I was also walking him in the Nether from Minecraft. We fell into a pool of lava and died. I had the option to respawn, and when I chose it, I woke up.

Respawn and Relive
@thenightwolf51 who tagged me in this months ago, but I didn't know enough about Respawn to write something. I didn't forget! I just still haven't found much on him, so sorry if I get his character wrong.
They don't give him a name.
It's one of the first things he notices they do to dehumanize him. It's not like they see clones as humans- he's just a science experiment meant to keep the legacy of the League of Assassins alive, even at the cost of his life.
He is just there to be trained to follow commands, and if needed, he is spare parts for the Real Son. He is made from part of the same DNA as the Real Son, but that hardly matters to what should be his mother, as she does not feel anything for his biological father and thus feels nothing for the being created from the two DNAs.
He is the clone created by Slade Wilson- alias Deathstroke- and Talia al Ghul. She may not had a hand in his creation, as that was done by her father, but she had no issues using him.
Torment him. Rip him apart and put it back together just to see what happens.
She looks at him with the same gaze she would a sword. Valuating his worth by how well he can do in training, how healthy his organs are, and how he should be nothing but a loyal dog.
But he isn't. Not really.
If this was all he knew, maybe he would be the weapon they wanted, but he knows more. Remembers more. Yes, he doesn't have all his memories, but he has flashes- glimpses- of the life he had before the Leauge.
They would disapprove of the memories, which makes them all the more precious.
He can still clearly remember his mother- his real mother- a brilliant mind, his father's warm, solid hugs, and his sister's gentle eyes. He can recall his home's layout even if he can not remember the street or how far it was from his school. He can identify his two best friends' faces even if their names slip through his fingers like falling sand.
He also remembers his first name and the initials of his last.
Danny F.
He thinks he died before, waking up as the clone. He remembers standing inside a metallic cave- or a large hole in a machine?- and being electrocuted. He remembers the screams, the flashes of light, the pain, and even a glimpse of his best friends' horrified faces but not much else.
The next clear memory is looking in a mirror to see white hair and green eyes. The same combination he now sports as the Leguage's weapon and spare organ farm.
The memories after that are filled with harsh training, even more, brutal torture, and the reintegration that should his half-brother ever need them, he would give up his organs for the Real Son.
He is, after all, Damian Wayne's gift. He was created to harvest his super healing for the boy's body parts. Danny thinks he hates him, but he's not sure he can remember what hate is supposed to feel like.
He does remember what love is supposed to feel like.
Sometimes, when all he can do is lay in his cell, body aching as they test his healing factor beyond its limits- they cut off his left arm once, just to watch the tissue slowly regrow- he lets himself drown in his old memories, in the few dream-like sequences.
Some make sense, others don't. For some, he's a black-haired blue-eyed boy, and for others, he has white hair and green eyes.
Danny is sitting in class, eagerly taking notes on a topic he has been having trouble with-
-He's playing fetch with a small green dog, throwing snowballs into the air, flying after the excited creature-
-Danny is playing video games with a goth girl and a nerdy boy, laughing so hard he can't see the buttons on the control correctly-
-He's flaying alongside his sister, aiming his outstretched arm at a figure in the sky, shooting a green ray at the same time she does down below in her mechanical armor-
-Danny is helping his mother mix the dough for the cookies. He is swaying his hips to the song she has on the speaker. She's in her teal jumpsuit, having come up from the lab to do mother/son cookies as they do every Thanksgiving-
-He's testing the latest blaster with his father. They wanted to see if the auto-aiming feature was interfering with his flying. He flickers the white bangs out of his eyes as his father cheers from the roof while he takes aim-
Yes, Danny knows what love is supposed to feel like, even if he can't remember all the details, even if his full name evades him. He will escape the Leauage of Assiagins and find that feeling again.
Maybe he'll track down his biological father. Deathstroke does not know a clone was created by him, so maybe he will be willing to take him in.
It takes months, but eventually, they tell him Damian Wayne needs a kidney. Why? They don't say, but Talia knows her Beloved will donate his own, and she won't stand for it. She orders him to fulfill his duty as guards drag him to the operation table.
He grits his teeth as they strap him down and prep for surgery. Thankfully, they don't apply any anesthetics- they don't deem him worthy of a painless operation- so he has a clear head for escape.
The surgery has a thirty-window opening with no guards around. He waits until they are about to begin when he taps into the powers his memories tell him. He makes his limbs intangible, slipping through the restraints with great effort.
The medics only have a few seconds to be shocked before he is upon them. They lay in a pool of blood- not dead. His chest flares up in pain if he kills, so he tries to avoid it as much as his environment allows- as he flies through the walls. He has been planning here, so he knows what to do. Turning invisible, he passes under a helicopter scheduled for a month supply run.
By doing so, he does not appear on any radars using the large cargo as camouflage. Danny drops into the ocean as the alarms go off on that wrenched island, allowing his whole body to turn tangible. This way, the water does not slow him down as he flies deeper and deeper down, praying that they won't be able to track him the further he goes. When he gets to the part where everything is too dark to see- he picks a direction from where he came and hits top speed.
Traveling three hundred miles an hour, Danny escapes the League of Assians with all his organs intact, so take that Damian Wayne.
He has no real destination in mind but maybe, he can find the little town of his memories or maybe he'll find Deathstroke.
Maybe he will discover what the F. in his name stands for.
For now, he'll work under the name Respawn because that's a name he picked out for himself, and he'll do what he wants. He's no one's tool any longer.
(Miles away Tim Drake squints at the small dot darting from Nanda Parbat on his spying map. He's not sure what kind of misle Ra's just shot, but it's traveling fast, and he feels like he needs to phone this in.
"Hey B, we may have an issue." )

Hello allow me to share my silly convex thoughts!
So so so! You know how in AUs and stuff, Convex sometimes monch on each other to satisfy their need for player flesh? Well, what if that’s just… not possible? Eating another Vex does nothing for The Hunger, it has to be someone else….
Imagine the angst and comedy potential lol.
- Anon demon
OOOH I LOVE THAT.
i propose an idea: they eat corpses.
when someone dies they leave a corpse behind. so scar and cub will ask people for their corpses when they see someone died.
the hermits decided to profit off of this and they start selling their corpses to those two.
also i wanna mention thati have an au where scar is a vulture and since vultures are scavengers scar will notice a hermit isnt taking care of themself and he'll wait patiently till they drop dead from either dehydration or exhaustion or something.
the hermits start noticing and catching on and they use scar as a sorta reminder. when scar shows up and just starts watching you that means you need to take care of yourself because youre about to drop dead sikdfsdjkhf
its a good thing for the hermits, however scar is now without dinner.

I did it, I made that TF2 OC I was talking about.
Technically, Crow is not a Mercenary. He works alongside Miss Pauling as an unofficial assistant of sorts. By that, I mean he was never properly hired. He was attracted by the death and chaos happening between the two teams and just… showed up. But he’s helpful, so he’s allowed to stay. He mostly works as battlefield cleanup, collecting the bodies, shrapnel, and weapons from the battlefield during and after a battle. He especially enjoys collecting the bodies, as he is fascinated by death and loves to study human anatomy. More often than not, he just quietly returns the weapons and scrap metal back to the mercenaries.
Despite being a neutral party, he does wear the team colors so he doesn’t get shot on sight if the mercenaries do see him. Heavy emphasis on IF. He is extremely reclusive and doesn’t like being seen, which has caused him to become adept at hiding and sneaking around. He may appear well put together and even intimidating at times, but he is terribly skittish and will flee at the first sign of a living person being nearby.

TW FOR GRAPHIC GORE AND DEATH
Who was who anymore? Who's to say?
Tubbo's guts were falling out of his stomach. Pac's blood was mixing with his. Fit's blood as well. There was an organ laying on the floor. Someone's liver perhaps. Tubbo was too out of his mind to wonder.
Fit was gasping, licking up blood. Then he choked and was silent.
“He's dead,” Pac said mildly with a smile.
Tubbo groaned.
Everything hurt and everything was wonderful. Fit came into view and he pushed his own corpse away with a kick. The knife in his hand was drug down their stomachs. Pac coughed up his own blood and finally Tubbo watched the life leave his eyes.
“You next,” Fit said with a wild smile before he plunged the knife straight through his ribs and into his heart. He died with Fit in his vision and Pac's blood on his lips.

Okay but Voidwalker Bdubs
No reason, just these eyes. They can absolutely hold v o i d
YOOOOO HECK YEAH DUDE THAT SOUNDS AWESOME >:D
also i might've forgotten where this very specific Zedvancement took place so if this is wrong ... no it's not you're wrong /lh /j
(I didn't mean to make it this long I swear)
Bdubs didn't go around telling everybody he was a voidwalker. In fact, no one knew. No one would know, if he could help it. For Weavers of the Void, the very essence of the neverending expanse below the livable worlds themselves, it was a danger just existing around other players.
And it was fine just being Bdubs. Regular ol' Bdubs, who was a bit strange but nothing more.
He was never supposed to show what he actually was, because the void below was supposed to be safe. Especially the void below a world as secure as Hermitcraft.
Zedaph getting struck by lightning inside of the void did not count as safe. Bdubs could immediately feel the intrusion into the void, even dozens of chunks away. Could feel the wrongness of a really bad death inside the void and the struggle of the world trying to grasp onto its beloved player as he fell deeper into the abyss.
In an instant, he dropped the shulker he'd been carrying around in the shopping district. Ignoring the odd looks and protests from Cleo who he'd been talking with, he scrambled to get a rocket. He couldn't fly over to Zed's base fast enough. He didn't even bother being careful, diving straight into the hole down to bedrock without slowing down.
The void welcomed him with open arms. The thick, not-quite-liquid blackness caught him as he fell, caressing his face and enveloping him in a hug.
But he didn't have time for niceties. Forcing the void open so he could move around, he commanded the darkness to tell him where his friend had gone. Hesitantly, like a kid that'd done something bad, the void opened up to reveal a body deep, deep down.
Zedaph was twitching, convulsing as if drowning where he floated in nothingness. Bdubs hurried over — curses less than proper might've escaped him, but not that he'd ever admit that. Grabbing ahold of him, he returned to the hole. It took effort to ignore the desire to stay by the void, but he had to save his friend. It didn't matter that he missed his home.
A platform of almost solid blackness raised him up from below the world. After an ascent that took much too long Bdubs gently laid Zedaph on the grass. He was well aware of the people touching down beside him and even more so of the whispers at the sight of void stuff, but he ignored those in favour of grabbing Zed's face to look at it.
"You're a fricking idiot, Zed." He scowled, thinking back to the crazy amounts of deaths he'd seen from the guy the past days. He knew those had to do with his faulty death. Not only those, but the stupid idea to die in the most impossible way.
However, it was an easy fix. Bdubs grabbed the sides of his head and pulled out whatever void stuff was left inside of him. The goo wrapped around his arms, cold but only because it was devoid of any other feeling.
Then he took out his sword and drove it through Zed's heart. Shouts rang out and people scrambled to stop him, but the deed had been done. In mere moments, the body dissolved into smoke and items exploded into the grass.
With a sigh, he got to his feet. The horrified expressions on the Hermits were expected, yet he still flinched and looked away. None of them could say a word. It made him swallow the big lump in his throat.
"Yeah, I've got a lot to explain, don't I?"

is permashifting to my dr and completely forgetting about my or possible so that my dr is basically my new cr? :)
Yes, this is possible!
It's called respawning. It is as simple as scripting that you will no longer remember your OR/CR.
For an added layer of certainty, though I'm not sure how strictly necessary it is, scripting that your safe word will bring you to that specific DR (aka your new CR) is also a good measure to take!^^
Further details about respawning vs permashifting under the cut~
.
A common misconception about respawning is that one has to die in this reality to respawn in another, but that is entirely NOT the case. You absolutely DO NOT and SHOULD NOT cause harm to yourself or others for the purposes of shifting, because it is absolutely never necessary to hurt someone or yourself for that. Your 'clone' (non-literal term for another version of yourself) will continue to live in this reality as if nothing ever happened, and you will be free to live in your new CR!
Additionally, this is a good spot to remind other readers about the difference between permashifting and respawning. Whilst similar, they are different in one fundamental way!
Permashifting leaves you with your memories of your OR/CR intact.
Respawning does not leave you with your memories of your OR/CR intact.
Please remember to carefully consider which it is that you prefer, as it is not a decision to be taken lightly! Of course, both are still entirely acceptable though, and ultimately up to you^^
I hope that answered your question! <3

I've seen so much skulk-infected Grian and it's SO good I love it but every time I see it I think of the fact that skulk only spreads via things dying. so Grian would have to be dying for skulk to spread on him. And it simultaneously punches me in the throat and makes me go >:D

Okay but
Indiana Johns like Scar finding the Pyramid of the Pharaoh Cub.
Perhaps the Pyramid is also cursed with the spirit of Vexes?
When I read this, my brain was like, maybe this is the backstory that Scar tells ppl about the newest, and deadliest, attraction at Scarland, and this is what came out of that thought process. Also this is my first attempt at writing Grian so idk how well I have captured his voice and character, but I think it turned out okay.
-
"Oh, you wouldn't believe how far I walked through the desert! You'd think a pyramid would be easy to spot, but it wasn't! Man, it took forever, and I was almost out of water when I found it at last. It was just a gold block, shining in the sunlight, but I knew it. I knew what it was. That was the pyramid of the lost Pharaoh! It had to be! So I started digging, not knowing what I was going to find when-"
Scar paused, distracted by some more Hermits joining the line. He beamed and gestured them over.
"Hello, hello! Welcome to the Pharaoh's Lost Pyramid! The scariest attraction in aaaaaall of Scarland! It's a faithful recreation of the pyramid that I found many years ago in a desert many blocks away. Come, I will tell you what I found in there," Scar said.
"You found Cub, that's what you found," Grian said.
"Nonono! Not Cub! The lost Pharaoh! Doomed to rest in his pyramid, cursed by what he'd done to the land and his people, buried with so much treasure I could not carry it all away with me... But do not disturb his tomb, or you will die!" Scar said, gesturing wildly as he brought the group up to the entrance. "Do you still dare to enter the Pharaoh's lair?"
"Yeah, of course. It's just Cub. What is there to be scared of?" Grian said.
Scar opened the gates and stepped aside. "Oh, you'll find out, Grian. Beware, if the cursed Pharoah touches you, all hope is lost."
Grian shrugged as he went inside. "I'm sure I'll be fine."
Scar closed the gates behind him and locked them. Grian turned back.
"Hey! You're not locking me in here, are you?" Grian said.
"What, you said it wasn't scary! I'm sure you'll be fine, Grian," Scar said dismissively.
"You'll pay if it isn't, Scar, just warning you now," Grian said.
"Hey, you chose to go in, any deaths are not the fault of Scarland and it's owners. Goodbye, Grian, and good luck!" Scar said cheerfully.
Grian huffed, but continued inside. Scar turned back to the rest of the gathered Hermits. "Now, where were we? Oh, yes! I'd found the golden tip of the pyramid just peeking out from the sand! Night was closing in, I didn't have much time to make camp..."
-
Inside the pyramid, the Pharaoh lay in his sarcophagus, sleeping. At least, he had been sleeping until his senses told him he had intruders. His hands glowed and he summoned some Vexes.
"Go, my friends, tell me who walks the halls of the pyramid. They will become ghosts soon enough," the Pharaoh murmured.
The Vexes hissed, chattered their assent, and disappeared. The Pharaoh closed his eyes and waited, already tasting blood on his lips.
-
The hallways were tight and winding, full of dust, sand, and cobwebs. Grian could hear strange sounds as well, sounds he couldn't identify. He had the distinct feeling that he was being watched. Something that felt like cold fingers touched the back of his neck, and he startled, turning to see nothing behind him.
"What- who's there? Scar? What's going on?" Grian said, looking around him.
A sudden gust of wind blew the torches and candles out, plunging him into darkness.
"Oh, no, I don't like this. I don't like this!" Grian said as he reached for the wall and started moving, hoping he might find the way out.
-
"...It took an hour to break into the pyramid once I'd dug out enough sand. The limestone was harder and thicker than I thought, but once I managed to break in, I found myself in a one-block-wide passageway, filled with cobwebs and dust and a pile of rubble I'd just let in! I lit a torch and stepped inside, hoping the map I had of the passageways was accurate. The treasure was in here, I just knew it! I had to find it!" Scar said to his captive audience.
This wasn't how he intended to work the pyramid, but Jevin had got him on a roll and there was no stopping him now. They would hear the whole story whether they wanted to or not!
-
The one with the empty eyes walks the halls, master, the Vexes reported.
The Pharaoh smiled, knowing who they meant. "Well, well, well. Now, that's interesting. Chase him deeper. I'll awaken soon enough."
-
Grian had walked for another ten minutes, now inexplicably lost. He'd been shot with an arrow after tripping over a wire, and now he could hear zombies groaning behind the walls. He wished he had some torches on him, he might have been able to mark his way. But he'd brought nothing useful except for some food, acutely aware that Scarland was full of danger, not just from the dimly lit park that spawned mobs after dark, but from Scar himself and some of the attractions he'd built in here, like the pyramid. He wasn't taking any chances of losing his gear in a place he wouldn't be able to recover them from.
He stopped, hearing something screeching. Like a minecart breaking quickly on rails, followed by a thump and a howling sound. Perhaps coming in here had been a mistake. He froze as something sharp pressed against his neck.
"Who's there? Is that you, Scar? What do you want?" Grian said, trying to keep his voice down in case he attracted any further attention.
Run.
"Why would I do that? Who are you?" Grian said. "Maybe I'll just stay here."
Then you will die.
Grian nearly argued back, but a Vex face appeared as something grabbed his ankle and it was such a shock he kicked and kicked until he was free and did indeed run for it.
"Maybe Scar was right, maybe this place is cursed," Grian said as he ran down more hallways.
Well, run was a little optimistic. The darkness concealed a lot of hazards, and without a memory of where he ought to be going, he simply followed the halls blindly, hoping he might get back to the entrance at some point. Hopefully. Perhaps without dying, that would be nice.
-
The Pharaoh rose out of his sarcophagus, pushing the lid off until it crashed onto the ground. Grian was getting close, he could sense it. Grasping an ornate khopesh, the Pharaoh, bandages dragging through the sand, pushed the door of his tomb open and began to walk the halls.
-
In the back of Scar's awareness, he could sense where Cub was, and what was going on, as he told of his brave feats of adventuring as he walked through the old pyramid, avoiding traps and killing spiders and making his way to the treasure room. Every sentence became more incredible than the last, which is usually what happened when Scar let himself just spin a story like this.
He and Cub had cooked this idea up in Bdubs' coffee shop one night after several games of TCG at Cub's arena. The mummified Pharaoh creeping through the pyramid to kill whoever disturbed his sleep, with Vexes and other dangers thrown in for good measure. After all, Scarland needed at least one death game, right? It had to live up to it's reputation as dangerous as much as it was the happiest place on earth. That's what made it so special.
-
Grian heard spiders. Cave spiders. The problem was, he couldn't work out where the sound was coming from. He stopped in an intersection of three other passageways, all as dark as each other, unable to decide where to go next. He was sure the Vexes were still behind him, but they seemed to be toying with him. Getting close to bite him, before backing off again. Not even deep bites either, just warning shots, as it were, leaving him a little bloodied and in pain as he kept going.
He saw the eyes first. Beady red eyes charging at him through the corridor in front of him. It took a moment to process what he was seeing before they were suddenly on him, and he ran, unable to have avoided being bitten.
"Scar! SCAR! WHY WOULD YOU PUT CAVE SPIDERS IN HERE? WHO DOES THAT?" Grian screeched, feeling the poison burning through his body as he ran.
-
The Pharaoh laughed, hearing Grian's cries. He knew where he was, alright. The spiders were crying for blood. He was close. He raised the khopesh, its blade sharp and ready to strike, as he took a left, and prepared to end the game.

Grian had found a small nook to hide in, where he was waiting for the poison to wear off as he ate as much as he could. His feet were hurting in more ways than one. He was shivering, ignoring the blood from another arrow shot that had hit his thigh. At least he couldn't hear any spiders anymore.
What he could hear now, once he stopped breathing so heavily, were footsteps. Human-sounding footsteps.
"There's someone in my tomb. Someone who shouldn't be here. Someone who won't live to see the sky again once I find you," a voice called.
It was definitely Cub, Grian realised. But also, more than Cub. His voice had been booming, shimmering with magic. He should probably move, especially now that the poison had worn off. The problem was, the Pharaoh's voice was coming from all angles. He had no idea where he actually was.
"I'm just going to have to guess, aren't I? Oh, good lord. Where's left to go? There's only a couple of passageways from here. Guess I'd better just pick one and see where I end up," Grian said.

The Pharaoh pushed a button, hidden underneath some sand. Whichever way Grian went, he wasn't getting away. He was so close now. Time to feed. Time to eat the soul of his next victim.
-
Grian crashed into a wall that he was sure had been a much longer hallway.
"No! Hey! Let me out of here!" Grian said thumping on the stone.
Footsteps approached. Grian turned to see a dark figure closing in.
"You dare to disturb my slumber, mortal? No one enters my tomb and lives!" the Pharaoh cried as he ran at Grian.
"No! Scar! Hey! Wait, I-"

Grian was slain by TheCursedPharaoh using The Vengeance of Ra

Scar pulled something out of his bag as his fellow Hermits looked on in awe. "See, this is a golden cup I found in the tomb! Look at the intricate carvings! There were a pair of these, and I rescued them, along with so many other treasures! Once you complete the pyramid, you can see them all in the museum, and buy replicas of your favourites in the gift shop! Take home a little piece of the Pharaoh's treasure to remember your visit to Scarland! So, who's keen to go next?"
