I'd like to talk about something that's been on my mind a lot recently, and it's something that I've been meaning to bring up.
Littles! Stop taking advantage of CGs!
I'm tired of being taken advantage of by littles who only want someone to coo at them and say nice things and someone who they can dump their trauma on randomly (this is not in relation to my last post. I don't mind if people come to me for advice or for a place to vent, but I need them to ask first!). I want someone who wants a 3 dimensional relationship! Where we are friends first and then we move on to being in a agere relationship. But I get so many littles who claim to be looking for a caregiver, but they only ever want to talk while they are little, and aren't interested in taking it slow and building that very special relationship between carer and little.
I'm not some person who has infinite energy, I'm not some person who is a fanfic where I'm always ready to listen to your worries and anxieties, I'm not this flat, 1 dimensional person who can fit your fantasies of a cg.
I'm a human too, who wants a relationship with the littles I meet /p. Please, littles, please stop taking advantage of online cgs. We aren't your fictional story book that you can leave and come back when you feel like it. We have feelings too, and it's not fair that you play on our natural caring nature.

I feel like it has to be said again, but when you tag a story with x reader, character should have neither a name unless it's a nickname, callsign or alias, nor any specific description like black hair and blue eyes, but if it's a person of colour, chubby or something like that, its fine.
I keep finding stories where the supposed reader has a government name that isn't an alias nor callsign and has specific descriptions like blonde/black hair, blue/green eyes and pale/caramel skin. Again, if you're writing a story where the main character has specific descriptions or name, it's not a x reader.

Can't find it now but there was that confessions post where anon was like "Why are curt and corey (Lubowich) even interacting with the fandom on tumblr, it makes me uncomfortable, especially on a confession account like aren't they supposed to be free of judgement- idk i just don't think this space is for them" and I think that is possibly the most chronically online, go-and-touch-grass take that I've seen in a hot second, and I need to rant about it.
Anon be so fucking for real are you telling me that the people who's media you consume have to limit their internet experience because you don't want them to see what you are saying about their work on the internet? Is that a Joke? If you post an opinion anonymously, that does not make your take free from judgement. People can see it and judge it all they want- it just means it cannot be traced back to you. In fact, confessions pages are DESIGNED to inspire discussion and judgement based on the confession! How entitled do you have to be to see Curt Mega giving his opinion on a character HE PLAYS in response to some anonymous comment and go "Waaa Why is he even here anyway??" He's here Because this is a space for EVERYONE. If you do not want a creative mind behind a project to see your opinion, don't fucking post it on the internet?? Artists can handle being criticised for their work, so why do you feel the need to try and police how they interact with a fandom space. They're users on this hellsite, just like you. They have the same right to the content on this site that you do, and they have a right to see opinions about their work, just like you do. Grow up.

Rant timeeee
Sometimes I feel like “open minded hindus” need to form a society of our own so to make sure that neither extreme left nor extreme right hijacks the religious movement and give people a wrong Idea of Hinduism.
The way local “Hindu” orgs push for more orthodoxy really scares me. Today I heard a debate on how only salwar kameez and traditional dresses should be allowed in the temple. What is a religious person like me who doesn’t wear trad clothing supposed to do? Not pray anymore?! Not go to temples despite being a god loving Hindu?
What about Vidur’s wife who ran to see Lord Shree Krishna and forgot to put clothes on out of excitement and had to be reminded by him, who was moved by her devotion? What about Mata Bhadrakali who dons skulls, limbs and blood of demons as garments? Are they not respectable women for you?
What the fuck do you mean when you speak of muslim women the way you do? You repay those who harm Hindu Women by doing the same to innocent muslim women? What the fuck do you think women are? What happened to Hari hi Narayani? What happened to us being your equals according to the sacred texts?
What do you mean when you say Lgbtq should be punished? You seem to think you know hinduism more than doctor bhagwat, the RSS chief who unconditionally accepts the validity of Queer existence? More than lord mercury (Budhha, not Budhhā) who loved his partner even tho he turned out to be a different gender than believed? More than lord Shree Krishna who let Shikhandi have his preffered gender? More than Shree Rama who was moved to tears by his Eunech devotees? More than the Narayan who created us all fully knowing what we were going to be?
What should the Queer people who revert to Hindu because of its acceptance do? Revert again? Would your convert hungry self want that?
Do these people not realise how much they are harming Sanatan by this? Not realise that our openness and tolerance to different practices is what makes us, us?
This is not how you preserve Sanatan. The clothes and traditions are a considerable part, but our wisdom and awareness are the major ones.
Protect it from any threat and enemies who want it gone, but don’t go about making enemies from your own people who practice in a different way or aren’t what you want them to be.
If you want to create awareness about Hinduism, learn to be calm and wise and the kind of person a Hindu is supposed to be. Read the sacred texts if you will. Valour plays a big part, but Knowledge and acceptance plays aswell.
*closes powerpoint*
Tumblr media
And this is why learned Hindus (and Sanatanis in general) need to speak up more. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Your money will be refunded shortly. :)

I'mma go on a mini rant here about nothing that anyone here cares about but it also does sort of relate to every fandom ever in a way.
The formula 1 crowds are, as a whole and not as individuals, massive dicks. The amount of gatekeeping is insane. Like, you are gatekeeping CARS GOING VROOM ON A TRACK. You are??? So cool??? Lmao, I dunno, it just drives me insane. It's like people aren't allowed to be "new" fans of things, ever. Someone has an opinion someone else doesn't agree with and they're like "lol, new to F1?" and it's like, nah mate the person you're accusing of being new has been watching for decades, you just don't know how to handle someone not agreeing with you. And even if they were new, SO WHAT??? Like lord is it harder to be a dick than it is to just maybe explain something to them they might not fully understand as of yet? You were there too once, Oh Ruler Of The Universe and F1 Knowledge.
Not only that, but the amount of animosity towards drivers and the lack of caring about their well-being in crashes -- or what I call "couch driving" like making fun of George Russell's crash and the way he was screaming for a red flag because, I dunno, he was scared to death of being hit and getting killed (or someone else getting killed) because he crashed and his car was sideways in the middle of the damned track?
Like, are you assing me out? Are you saying you would be stone faced and not at all concerned in the same position? You sure do say a whole lot of words for someone sitting on the couch with a bag of potato chips watching fast cars go nyoom for your entertainment.
Drives me bonkers, it really does. I know gatekeeping is a thing in every fandom so ya'll will probably at least be able to generally relate lmao.
Thanks for listening to the rant. As always, I send hugs and love to you all <3

I've been so, so tired. Running myself ragged, just for all the money I earn to go right into unpaid bills. I have no energy left to write, as much as I need/want to.
If I don't get this job I'm interviewing for on the 15th, I'm gonna lose all hope. My father knows someone on the inside of the company, so here's hoping nepotism carries me through,

Adrien Agreste for the character bingo
Tumblr media
Character Opinion Meme || { Accepting }
Tumblr media
For @strcngered || Adrien Agreste/Chat Noir
Tumblr media
Yes, I cheated. Do I give a fuck? NO!
Adrien... is a good character the show threw away. Demoting him to an abused sidekick/trophy boyfriend. I don't need to keep watching after season 3 to know how the route goes. I root for him as much as I can cause his personality is so unique and wonderful, not to mention you want to explore his unlooked background and perspective just because...
Adrien himself is a beautiful person with a way more interesting background as the protagonist. He's a celebrity with little to no control over his life thanks to his over-barring (if not abusive) father. Then becomes a superhero who is very much underappreciated and pushed alot to even physically abused by his spotted female fighting partner (she threw him in a trash can. That's abuse). Meanwhile, he still maintains the sweet personality of trying to be kind, courteous and selfless to people, even strangers. Even to the point of risking his life several times for the people he cares about. He also doesn't get enough support when he needs it because of the bias writing of the show and when it does happen, it get's taken away from him very quickly.
I don't even care about the love square anymore and will never ship it again after taking off the rose colored glasses to see the red-flags in SEASON ONE! (Presents till his 35 birthday and his private schedule is not love. It's STALKING and there's no fucking excuse!)
Marinette doesn't deserve him. Gabriel DAMN WELL doesn't deserve him. The SHOW doesn't deserve him. If I can take Adrien out of the show and put him in another, I'd gladly do so for his sake or just adopt him to treat him better. And i said several times I don't want kids but gods... this kid pulls my heart strings. The writing fucked up alot of characters, but Adrien takes the brunt of it. He is basically the Ken... WITH THE CREATOR ADMITTING THAT!!
There are only three people I can see with Adrien. Either Marc, Nathaniel or my OTP, LUKA.
It's hard not to rant when it comes to Adrien because you know they didn't do him right and you want to protest so much but you know he's never going to get it better in the show. That's why I'll love and support him even just through fanworks because he deserves it. I can't put it in any other way. Adrien is KENOUGH.

I don't mean to say this to be rude, but it kind of irks me when you start events and then take so long.
Again, I don't want to say this to come off as rude or anything. It's just something I've noticed and it makes you look unreliable.
... 🤨
I- what???
First of all... no one is entitled to get a fic from me. No one. This is my hobby. Something I spend my free time on and something I provide for you - for free.
No one gets to dictate how long I take to write something and I sure as hell am not going to stress myself out over it. If inspiration is there, it's there, if not, then it isn't and I take a break.
Second of all. I am an adult with a real life, work, other hobbies and a partner who also asks for and deserves my time. I don't simply exist for your fanfiction production pleasure.
If you refer to the greenhouse event and simply wanted to know when I'll start writing something you could've simply asked that without being a rude prick about it.
So: Yes, I haven't forgotten. Yes, I'm still going to write fics for it. Yes, I have all the asks I've gotten organized and noted down. Yes, I started collecting ideas. No, idk when the first ones will come out because my real life has been stressful as heck at the moment. And I also got in a huge commission, that someone paid for, so, that has priority.
I know I don't need to justify myself at all here but this level of entitlement towards content creators is pissing me off.
The fanfic space has felt more dead lately anyway so my motivation and drive to write was lower than usual already... and frankly, with asks like this I get the urge to quit altogether.
And I'll say it louder for the ones in the back: CONTENT CREATORS DO NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING.
Thanks. Bye.

I don't want to get too into the weeds because I understand the frustration at having paid for content, but I don't think anyone really understands what the purpose of the event is. It isn't to piss people off, it's to generate revenue, particularly profit.
Oh, make money, business bad. No. You need to understand that revenue profit is what allows IDF to take on more projects, grow the company, pay their people, take on people, source talent, and give raises. Saint largely paid out of pocket to get The Sign going, which he likely took on as a sunk cost. But even if he is the CEO, he still has an operating board that is asking questions that need to be answered, i.e. what's our Sales plan and distribution market? How are we going to generate enough revenue profit to have the budget we need to generate even more revenue and sustain growth and do more of what our consumers want?
Capitalism is what it is, and we're not getting out of it for the foreseeable future. In that case, I'm going to support the businesses I think are worthy of that. And I get that my perspective isn't favorable, but I also work in a Sales team where it is very clear if we don't make X revenue we as a team, the whole business, suffers. No more resource, workloads increase. None of us are sitting there out of malice. Our service's ultimate goal is to keep people safe. You are not obligated to pay that money, but *it is* about the money. It is the system we live in, unfortunately. The arts are never funded, so they have to go to other avenues and make choices like this. Because really, what is their next option: exhaust their actors with paid for promotional events? Sponsorships are one revenue stream, but it should NEVER be the only one. So they do nothing and downsize? Eventually close?
Putting The Sign on a streaming paid for platform would have seen everyone take a pay cut out of what ad revenue they get out of YT and likely a % cut of value of how much it was streamed. We got 95% of the show for free and to generate assured revenue for IDF, they have had a paid for finale event. I think that isn't the worst outcome.
Be pissed and angry at captialism, but cut out the dogging Saint as a sell out because he has to function within it and ensure all his people, because that's what his company is, his people get paid for their jobs and keep their livelihood. We all need to make money. There are no clean hands in that respect, remember that.

RANT ABOUT FNAF MOVIE THAT CONTAINS MILD SPOILERS
"This movie should have been rated R!" "This movie should have been scary!" "This isn't the FNaF I know!"
---------------------------------------------------------------
These are quite a few complaints that I've seen about the FNaF movie. What a lot of people have yet to comprehend is that this movie and the subsequent films that will follow it are made to be in their own universe, just like the Silver Eyes trilogy and the games themselves as well as any other official FNaF book. No, it wouldn't have ever been rated R because Scott acknowledges that the community covers a wide age range some of the youngest fans are about 10-ish years old and I'm on the older end of the spectrum being 23. I've been around since the beginning too mind you.
That being said, a lot of people went into this film expecting blood, guts, gore, graphic depictions of violence, and more. Knowing today's standards in the film industry this never would have been possible even for an R rated film. An R-rated motion picture, in the view of the board, contains some adult material. The film may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually oriented nudity, ||drug abuse|| or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously.
The older half of the fandom tends to believe that they are entitled to the dark and gory nature of the game's history without acknowledging that the fandom has kids in it too. You can thank the unrestricted internet access given to iPad kids for this. Scott knows that on some level, he has to reign it in in order to pander to the parents of the younger community members. At the end of the day it really boils down to going into a film with certain expectations despite having potentially watching one or several of the movie trailers.
Something we do get in terms of the violence and 'gore' is seeing several corpses, watching a young woman get bitten in half, seeing a cupcake tear into a kid's face, and the famous springlock scene. And it's all done with expert camera angles and making good use of lighting and tasteful censorship. People just don't want to acknowledge that Scott has spoiled us for years.
tldr; I'm getting real sick of seeing people complaining about the FNaF movie months later.

I’m not brave enough to say this on my account but I love it when you post/reblog freaky weird shit it really butters my bread and I think it’s great that you understand the line between “this thing is bad in real life” and “people can make and consume content without supporting, partaking in, or condoning its action” I think not enough people get that difference so thank you for your service 🫡
Awww that's sweet of you! Thank you 🤗
Ps. I think sending this to my ask box might've been safer for you?
And yeah, people should understand that writing it doesn't mean you support it, not necessarily unless the person outright says it. Plus it's a bit presumptuous of them to think that someone's like this or like that because of the things they write or consume. They don't know what the person's life is like and what they go through, so reading dark fics could be their way to detach themselves from reality, from the hardships of life and the shits that's thrown at us. An escapism, essentially.
Or, some people who have darker fantasies and don't want to act it out feel it through dark fiction. It speaks for itself, FICTION, it's there as a way to feel something without reenacting it.
Or, maybe it just tickles your brain, to be able to see something through fiction and fantasy that might be too morbid or dark to happen/that you don't want happening.
Like, I wrote incest and stepcest, but I don't support it, it's some fucked up shit but I won't judge someone if they get off on it, it's none of my business. Kidnapping and dub-con/non-con's (non-con and rape is the same thing, pls) the same, bad but this is a fictional world.
Though what bothers me the most is when people come and complain about some dark fic being too dark, if that's even possible. There are warnings, tags, but people still click on the keep reading button then go on the comments or the writer's ask box to complain about the dark fic. They don't understand that if you skipped the warnings and kept reading, it's entirely your fault, not the writers, and that if they don't like it? Either block the writer, block the tag you don't like or read the warnings. Or harass the writers about supporting this or that even though they don't say they do or not.
So, if I like the fic, I like and might reblog it, doesn't mean I support it irl, I just like the fictional world of it. Anyway! That's all for my rant, sorry about it!

I hate when people - mostly Americans - feel like they have the right to shit on Slavs just because we're white. (Which is not true btw, I know a lot of POC Slavs).
Like, yeah our countries are a bit behind, you know why?! BECAUSE WEST NEVER BOTHERED TO HELP US, THEY ONLY EXPLOITED US.
Yeah, some of us live in horrible conditions without running water and bathroom in the house. Why? Because even now no one bothers to help them.
Yeah, many Slavs don't like foreigners. Why? Because of generational trauma that happened less than 80 years ago.
Yeah, many Slavs are uneducated because they didn't have the opportunity to get proper education.
But we're not primitive subhumans as many treat us. We're not inferior.
And when we speak up about our issues, when we want to educate others so they stop harming us with stupid stereotypes, WHEN WE DEMAND BASIC RESPECT FOR A HUMAN BEING
What happens then?
We're called delusional. We're being said that "we just want to steal attention from actual problems because we're all racist pigs", we're being told that our issues aren't that big, right? We're white, so we have sooo many privileges, we definitely weren't oppressed throughout the centuries
Rant over

“Karwa chauth is regressive/mysogynist.” So
Women fasting (which is a sure shot way to get a boon in Hinduism in general aswell, fyi. We fast for a lot of different things, both men and women.) in order to please a Goddess (the one who governs a woman’s married life) so that she would protect her husband, something she is doing on her accord is actually against them.
Something that they themselves invented back when men’s lives were under a lot of mortality risk (which is why ancient scriptures don’t speak of it) is invented to oppress them
Something that when you practice, you’re most likely to hear “iski kya zaroorat hai? Jee to rha hu main.” (“Whats even the need? I’m fine am I not?”) from the guy you’re doing it for is actually patriarchal.
Something that women genuinely enjoy because of how (as I’ve heard women around me say) they get to play dress up, don’t have to do any housework, get to meet up with friends and have fun, get treated to a great dinner at night, are pampered by their husbands, is regressive to them.
Something they have been doing since ages for their own peace of mind is oppressing them
Maybe you guys come from different regions and have experienced stuff that makes you think its regressive, of course coupled with whatever social evils exist where you come from ( tbh, even I don’t believe that one should fast for the long life of someone whose an ass to you or won’t do the same for you when need arises. Heck, I don’t even believe in fasting if u don’t want to, which many women do.), but the truth is, the practice itself has nothing to do with misogyny all the way to its origin. Women who still observe despite coming from open minded households do it on their own accord after all.
Don’t even get me started on how fasting is not observed just by women. There’s millions of hindu men out there who have fasted for their wives’ well being in times of sickness and peril (including my own grandfather) , on regular weekday or lunar calender oriented dates. Western India even has the Ashunya Shayan fast where Husbands fast for their wives and marital bliss. The difference is while there’s a specified day for women to do the same annually, it has been labelled poorly by those who don’t even realise its roots.
Let Hindu Women be. You guys made your own choice and opinion, but forcing it down other people’s throat isn’t making you a feminist, its making you an asshole.
