Can I ask what’s happening with sniff?? I’ve been on a twitter purge for the last week

Ya sure heres a VERY short explanation from Me:

Snifferish decided theyd unfollow basically everyone on twitter excluding their friends, so like stan accounts and such ppl they followed but didnt know. Reasoning was due to people being upset over who she followed, and that she saw some of the accounts she had followed taking part in sending death threats.

The people who got unfollowed got upset over this. They started saying that snifferish was unfollowing black stans and therefore making them out to be 'bad people' and 'villainizing' them. There was things about sniff being 'racist' for this or leading to ppl calling them 'aggressive'. Also saw something about 'how else will she be educated without following stans' and that kind of shit. Snifferish dropped a longer thing saying she was sorry, and that she 'accidentally helped in the villainizing of blackmcyttwt' or something of those words.

Snifferish kinda gave in to following people back, also when pressed to unfollow calvin they unfollowed him. I believe they also unfollowed techno and fundy but may have followed them again. Also one of their mods made a tweet bout sniff being able to follow whoever and said that they were 'talking to' their mod.

Its like. A lot of bullshit tbh. A lot of backwards logic like 'well you said you unfollowed people for sending death threats, and you unfollowed black people, so youre saying that all BLACK PEOPLE send death threats?????' Which is dumb as fuck. Also the false idea that Following someone means you agree with everything they do, or that by Unfollowing you are condemning people rather than.... you know. Tailoring ur timeline to what u want
