Idk how to say this but there's something nice in the time period of Eclipse. It's not my favourite book, I think it's contrived and the character assassination of Jacob is a crime, but it's just the tiniest glimpse into how Bella and Edward...hang out together. She's doing some homework and he's hanging out, they're watching TV with Charlie together, maybe she's tidying or cooking and he's leaning against something casually. Nice to imagine that she's a busy human doing busy human things and he's just some guy spending some time with her. Sigh.
