Basically needed an online record of the Children of the Moon, aka the Twilight werewolves that are closer to the traditional sort of werewolf portrayed in media.

Inspired by @panlight ‘s answer to an ask HERE , here is a list of what the un-shown werewolves (non-Quileute) in Twilight are like:

they change by the full moon only and when they change they look half human, half wolf

they cannot control any of their urges when they are in their furry state--->they are “feral” and entirely driven by instinct

they are as strong and fast as vampires

they have more powerful forelegs than hind legs, making them more ape-like than canine

they are immune to vampire venom (both the pain-inducement and the transformative element)

they reproduce themselves through a bite, like vampires do--they can't reproduce sexually: the lycanthropy isn't transmissible through sex like STDs, nor can there be a person born a werewolf

they travel either alone or with one other werewolf that is of a different sex than themselves

they have been hunted down to near extinction by the Volturi because of their strength

Here’s a step-by-step look at the painting process of my piece for @goddesszine!

1. Rough sketch, and I mean the most scribblescrabble rough line sketch ever.

2. Color blocking/ rough first paint to get the mood across.

3. Finalize background and map out characters again. I felt the first pass was too cramped and I wanted the spring to look bigger.

4. Character flats and begin rendering the water.

5. Adjust character positions and continue rendering.

6. Finish rendering, color correct, add overlay layers. This is my favorite part: adding all the ✨sparkles✨

I know digital painting can be scary and complicated, so I’m glad I have these pictures to remind myself to approach art making one step at a time. I hope you find this helpful!

i know i'm usually in these tags making the stupidest jokes but i can't stop thinking about day's friend asking him how he watches porn

because porn is illegal in thailand, and i remember the news about hundreds of big sites being blocked a few years back

and yeah. technically, breaking the law is breaking the law but there's just some types that follow you forever ("the ankle bracelet's off, but some people still see it, i guess") and some types you can talk about at full volume in a public place

#last twilight the series #i think creating it is punished harshly?#but i'm unclear on whether it's a possession for personal use is fine type situation?#i've heard multiple times that the ban isn't taken super seriously by locals #but i'm not thai and don't live there so i don't actually know the reality #maybe i'm talking out of my ass (and someone please correct me if so)#but i keep thinking about this #and if there's a financial penalty for watching it's no big deal #because day has the resources #in a way mork does not #i do NOT think this was a Big Serious moment where the director was teaching us some Very Important Lesson btw #it's just interesting
