Hey!! I love your fic's so much!
Can I request a Jacob x Fem!reader where they are friends but reader has a crush on Jacob. When he shifts he leaves and does what he did to Bella like ignoring her and Billy won't answer the door.
Mutual pinning but neither knows. He imprints on reader.
Thank you so much keep up the great writing :)
Also, I was wondering if you are going to be doing the vampires as well?
Hi!, Thank you so much for the request! I appreciate the kind words <3
I will be doing fanfics for the vampires as well! As of right now I only have the wolves, but I am planning on making a master list for the vamps and Bella. If you want to make a request for them I can definitely do that! I am planning on making a fic for Jasper soon!
A/N: Not proofread! I aged Jacob up a bit, you both are seventeen here. I didn't know exactly how to end this but I think I might do a spin-off series off of this fic so if you are interested in that let me know. Also, sorry for the late posting I am currently sick and going through it lmao. Hope you enjoy <3
Warnings: Jacob being an ass, cursing, angst, Y/N with a backbone.

You were staring blankly down at your phone. Ten phone calls, ten phone calls sent to voicemail. Ten desperate, pleading voicemails. No callback, no text, nothing received. You snapped your phone closed and threw it down on the bed.
It had been two weeks since Jacob stormed off from your house after getting into a small disagreement, at least it started off that way.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"It's nothing you need to worry about, Jacob," You grumbled with a slight roll of your eyes. Hoping he would drop the subject.
He was giving you an irritated look. You lightly pushed him with your shoulder giving him a small smile.
"I didn't think you'd care that much, it was one date and it's never happening again," you noted with a light-hearted laugh to ease the tension.
He turned to face you, irritation turning to anger. You could actually feel the heat radiating off of his body next to yours.
"Wow you must be really dumb, I mean how could you even think about going on a date with that pig. He's not good enough for you, but then again if you were desperate enough to give him a chance maybe I'm wrong" He barked getting more bitter with each word.
You look at him in shock.
"Why would you say that to me" You said not believing what you were hearing. "It's really none of your business who I go out with, you aren't my bodyguard, you don't have to 'protect' me. When did you get the right to decide who is 'good enough' for me? Huh? You're being a dick and I don't know why but it better change right now." You say sternly. He has never acted like this before and this sudden behavior change is not sitting well with you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jacob left shortly after that. He had gotten so angry he was shaking, you can't even remember the words that were thrown after that. Now, he wasn't answering the phone. Billy said he came down with mono, you didn't know how much you believed it but decided to trust that Billy wouldn't lie to you.
Jacob was your best friend, you loved him a lot. You had never had such an intense fight, you never thought he would react the way he did. You only went on the stupid date to get Jacob out of your head, you thought that maybe you would get over Jacob if you found someone else to pay attention to. You were wrong, no one made you feel the way that Jacob did. Jacob made you feel at home, you couldn't explain why but it was like he was the person you were meant to be with. He was the one who understood you fully and would never judge you for anything you said or did. Until now......
You were deeply hurt by what Jacob said to you, and if he thought that you would get over it he was surely mistaken. He had never said anything more hurtful to you in your entire friendship. You had thought about just letting it go, letting life run its course even if it meant Jacob being out of your life, but you couldn't just sit and let him speak to you that way. You wanted answers. Sitting in your room waiting for him to call and explain was becoming too stressful. You sat there for hours overthinking and no matter what you were doing you were replaying the moment in your mind.
You must be going crazy. At least that's what you were trying to convince yourself after seeing Jacob cliff-jumping with Sam Uley and his gang. You had decided that you would go to La Push, and relax your body and mind on one of the only partly cloudy days in Forks. The skies were pretty clear but there was a storm coming soon, so you decided to do it now. Never in your life did you think you would see what you were seeing now. Are you fucking serious? was all you could think as you drove your car straight to Billy Black's house. You wanted to make sure it was really Jacob, so you went to the man who had told you how 'serious' his condition was in the first place.
As you pulled into the driveway the clouds began covering the sky in a dark grey mass. You hopped out of the car and began walking to the front door, Billy had opened the door as soon as you stepped onto the wood. His face had a mix of concern and confusion as he noticed your agitated expression and the way your chest was slightly heaving from anger.
"Where is he" you say with a grumble.
"He's not here, he went out," He says seriously but looking down a bit not wanting to make eye contact. Billy didn't like lying to you and to your face it was even worse.
Just as you were about to speak you looked to the side and saw that far away down the hill, Jacob stood playfully nudging another man as a few more came out of the woods.
"Don't Y/N" Billy said in warning.
You started stomping down the hill, ignoring Billy's yells. Billy calling your name caught the attention of Jacob, as his face shifted from laughing to completely still. You continued to walk towards Jacob as the rain started, it quickly went from a drizzle to full pouring as you finally reached him.
To say you were fuming would be an understatement.
"What the actual fuck Jacob!" you say basically screaming at the shirtless man, who was now staring directly into your eyes with what looked like pure amazement but you ignored it the best you could, whatever love for him you felt in that moment may have been strong but you were too angry to care so you continued.
"So we have one fight and you ignore me for two weeks?! I called you ten times, ten times Jacob. You couldn't bother picking up the phone at least once, you could've told me you didn't want to be friends but no! You had your daddy lie to me" You say with an angry laugh.
"I thought you were sick Jacob! Too sick to pick up the damn phone and text me! Come to find out you were just having too much fun cliff jumping with the guys we used to make fun of! You know what you can have them, If you want to throw away seventeen years of friendship then be my guest." You say finally taking a breath.
The weight off of your chest feels amazing, but as you finish Jacob falls to his knees. The boys behind him look between you two with pure shock on their faces before they start laughing and smiling. You look up at them shocked and confused thinking they were making fun of you. They start walking away but not before patting Jake on the back. Sam leans down and whispers something to him as he sits there still on his knees staring at you.
"Do you even care about a word I just said to you? You know what never mind if you think this is a joke I might as well leave," You say turning around and starting to walk away.
Jacob suddenly found his voice as he quickly got to his feet and stumbled trying to reach you.
"WAIT! Wait, wait, Y/N please hold on!" He spoke hurriedly. Grasping for your hand and pulling you around. Hand now resting on your waist.
"I am so, so sorry. Please let me explain everything, I promise I won't lie to you anymore. I can explain everything now, just come inside and dry off." He said pleadingly, trying his best to get you to listen to him.
You thought for a moment, you didn't trust him at all but the way he was speaking you knew he was telling the truth to some extent. It was hard for him to lie to you, you know how Jacob works, you know the subtle mannerisms he has when he's not telling the truth. Considering all of this you finally speak.
"Fine, but if things don't add up or I find out you are still lying, I am gone," You say sternly, pulling his hands away from you and walking up the hill.
When you get to the house, Jacob gives you warm tea and a blanket which you take from him without a word. He comes over and sits across from you. He almost reaches for your hand but stops himself.
"The day that I left your house, something changed, I changed...." He claimed, looking at your reaction with a hint of fear but continued "This is going to sound crazy, but you have to believe me on this..... I am a werewolf"
You stared at him for a moment before throwing the blanket off and standing up, Jacob followed suit immediately. You threw him a glare before starting to walk out.
"No, No, Y/N wait!" he shouted after you, reaching out and grabbing your hand. "I am telling the truth let me show you" He spoke as he continued outside your hand still in his.
" I swear Jacob if this is a pra....."
You went dead silent as he began taking his boots, and then his shorts off. Now standing in just his underwear. He gave you a curt nod and then started bending and shaking profusely. You could barely blink before your best friend stood in front of you only he wasn't human anymore, he was a massive wolf.
You jumped back a bit as the wolf started coming towards you, noticing your fear he slowly laid down on the ground and gave out a small whine to signal he would not hurt you. You were in complete shock, how was this possible? Everything you ever heard about the stories of the Quileute tribe growing up was true, and your best friend was living proof. A thousand thoughts ran through your mind, but they were silenced by the wolf standing up and trotting to the back of the house. Jacob then emerged in different clothes than before.
"I'm sorry, but I couldn't tell you Y/N" Jacob expressed, grabbing your hands hesitantly until you leaned into the touch slightly.
"Why couldn't you tell me, you know I would never judge you, nor would I ever tell anyone " You pressed before giving him a confused stare "Wait why are you telling me now?"
He looked at you a gave you a crooked smile.
"It's one of the rules that came with the gig" He laughs a bit before pulling you a bit closer. "The reason I can tell you now is because you are my soulmate," He says beaming down at you.
You stare up at him with a bewildered expression.
"I'm your what?" you say breathing out.
"You are my imprint, Y/N. It's a wolf's soulmate, it is the reason for their existence, you feel like it isn't gravity holding you to the ground anymore, it's them. You can be anything the imprint wants you to be, a friend, a protector, a lover, all that matters is that the two are connected. Like vines on trees overlapping each other both on the same path, interlocked." He pauses, putting his hand on your face and caressing your cheek gently.
"I know this might be overwhelming and a lot to handle. I really want you to know how deeply sorry I am for everything that I said. I'm not going to sit here and blame it all on the wolf because it wasn't, I was jealous. I was jealous that you went on that date with someone that wasn't me and I didn't mean a word that I said about you. I'm going to be fully honest with you from now on, starting with the fact that I have been in love with you since the second grade. I know that trusting me will take time, but I am willing to do whatever it takes to earn it back. I understand that I have hurt you, so it might take a very long time but I will always be there for you. Everything is up to you, I understand if you want to reject the connection. The connection can be anything you want it to be, but I really truly do not want to lose you and the past two weeks without you have been hell on earth for me. I'm just really sorry Y/N." He pleads letting go of your hands and allowing you to process.
"I... I love you too Jacob. I have for a while now. I'm not going to forgive you easily but I am glad you understand how much you have hurt me. I am willing to give this a shot, mainly because I can feel the connection and would be an idiot if I said that I didn't." You laugh a bit as he looks at you with the biggest smile on his face.
"But if you ever say or do that to me again I will put you in a dog house and leave you there," You say with an evil smile laughing at the way his face drops before he joins in.
You two get out of the rain and drive separately to Emily's house where you meet the pack and they explain in much more detail what being a wolf really entails. You and Emily become quick friends, and as the days go on you slowly fall into a routine that is pure chaos but you wouldn't have it any other way. You and Jacob work on your relationship, slowly building back trust and falling deeper and deeper into love with each other. You have fully accepted your place in a world filled with wolves and life seems to be going great, that is until they tell you exactly why they turn into the big ferocious beasts....... there are vampires in Forks.

⚠️ Cursing, detailed descriptions of Bella's body, dead beat mother mentioned ⚠️
Where does he go?
Tumblr media
Today in a long time was beautiful. Forks was showing its true beauty as the sun shined through the trees and glistened against the water. For the first time in a while, it wasn’t humid or cold, but breezy and warm, maybe if you were lucky you’d have time to go to the beach and get a tan today. I don’t know, maybe even find a lover…wait.
You cringe at the thought, your hand coming to a pause from the math problem. Ugh. The thought makes your stomach acid bubble up with disgust. Then your mind flashes to Embry and hid derpy smile, you stomach suddenly reacting with nervousness. The two of you were meant to hang out later, no members of the pack, no phones, just you and him with the warm water from the beach. If only life was that simple.
It’s been two weeks since Bella and Edward went away on their honeymoon and a week since you’ve had that conversation with Embry. A month since you’ve been in Forks. Summer break was over. During that time you realize you truly couldn’t bring yourself to leave Forks again, you wanted to, to leave to feel the Atlantic air once again, but that deep void of emptiness was terrifying.
To be alone in your dorm, fighting internally with your instincts, fighting yourself for the break up that had you feeling empty every time you were alone at night, sob-less tears trickling down your face as you dreamt. You didn’t need that, you needed your family, you even risked having to share a shower with them again if that meant having someone faithful in your presence.
That’s why you transferred to Peninsula College. Local, close to your new support system. Also, close to your ex-boyfriend's family while he frolics in the wind of whatever he’s at. Ugh.
Someone faithful, huh? That voice spoke in your head just in time as your brother comes out of his room with his motorcycle keys in hand. You watched him as he puts on his worn boots in a semi hurry, quiet, yet you could tell he was loud internally. Where does he go? Jacob didn’t go to school anymore, studying for his GED when he had the chance, and he only worked Fridays to Sundays. And his stone expression says he wasn’t visiting any friends.
Ain’t shit faithful about this damn family, they hid shit from you, betrayed you. I gotta let that go. You sighed, sitting up from your slouched position in hopes to focus on the task at hand. Instead, you hear the opening of the fridge and the fidgeting of the sandwich meat package. “So… where have you been going nowadays.” You asked for the first time since his whole leaving out early and coming back late act. Theirs no way he has a girlfriend.
You watch as he rolls his shoulders back while he makes a quick sandwich, releasing the tense feeling he constantly had. “Just hanging around, you know? So how’s you and Embry?” Changing the subject, and he did it so fast. You’ll let it slide, to focused on your own problems, you couldn’t really care what Jacob was doing in his free time. Except you do, just not today.
Me and Embry? You truly couldn't find the way you arms filled with goosebumps at the mention of his name. You don't even have a crush on him. But why did it feel so good hearing his name? “Well…we’re getting better, speaking more. We’re supposed to go out later once he’s off from work, we’ll see.” As you spoke, Jacob finally faces you with a half-eaten sandwich in his hand while the other one fidgets with his keys. Seems like he doesn’t even want to speak, just trying to get me off his back so he can go handle whatever.
Maybe I’m overthinking.
Jacob's eyes narrowed at this, not knowing how he felt about his best friend coming over, alone, just the two of you. But, he just releases a hot breath from his nose as he eats the rest of the sandwich, hand coming down and wiping it against his jeans. He knew there was nothing he could do, except be the annoying little brother he was meant to be.
You were reading into the silence too much, to your brother it was probably comfortable, but in all honesty, you still couldn’t fully feel comfortable with him. All of this lying and secrets, the only person to trusted was yourself.
But you needed to break the silence so he could go about his day. “You’re really ugly, I keep forgetting we found you under a bridge.” He scoffed, annoyed but smiling, happy you were still you, the annoying big sis he needed.
“Yeah, says the mistress baby, I’m out!” It was your turn to scoff, yours loud and sarcastic. “Huh! Jokes on you, I’m not even offended!” You childishly stuck your tongue out at him, which he mirrors as he walks to the door. Just like that, all of that insecurity you were feeling was gone, all that anger washing away as you play fight with your brother.
“Yeah whatever dog brains, bye!” Before you could clap back, the fragile door slams against its hinges, making you gasp. He ate you up. You cringe in disgust as you hear the bike engine roar to life and slowly fade away. You hated losing arguments with him, never again.
|Jakes Pov|
It felt great today. It was a shame that I’d be spending this day with the Cullens, the only people in Forks who couldn’t even enjoy the sun. Why am I socializing with my enemies? Well… its not that I have much of a choice. She was back.
Bella was back
In the worst possible condition, she could be in. But she wasn’t them, not yet. She was still her.
If I could- if I could just convince her to get rid of it- to save herself, then maybe… maybe she’ll have a chance to be… her.
Or maybe I’m just prolonging the inevitable.
She’s dying. She’s dying from his baby, and there is nothing I can do but sit there and watch the one I fell for wilt away.
Pulling in front of the large White House I couldn’t help but to cringe at the smell once again. A week here and I’m still not used to it, my body constantly reacting negatively.
“Jake!..” I smiled as her soft voice says my name. “Hey, Bells.” My voice was softer as well, so afraid if I raise it I could somehow break her. She was so fragile. Her hair was thinner, her skin, pale with blue undertones, no longer fair with red cheeks. Her eyes were sunken in as if she was getting drained slowly by slowly, but they still held that beautiful light in them, if anything the light was brighter than before. Her body was smaller, skinnier, and delicate as that demon feeds from her, and her lips… her lips were stained red. The only source of color she seemed to have.
“I missed you..” she reaches up for my hand, which I gently, and quickly grabbed to warm her up. “You missed me or you missed your natural heating source?” I grinned as she grinned. “Both,” she laughed, slowly moving over which I was quick to help her do. “Hey, I got it.” I leaned her against me, and I swore I heard edwards marble teeth grind against each other from the far corner.
Speaking of the devil. “Jacob..” I pulled her cold body closer, something in me telling me that he’d take her away. Even if he already has.
But to my surprise when I look over to the man that hurt my best friend, he was glaring at the woods, stone body fidgeting with his hands. “What,” I answered, trying my hardest to act like I didn’t care what he was thinking.
Then he turns towards me and Bella, thick brows turned inwards as if he was thinking long and hard.
Oh, this is serious.
“Can I talk to you for a minute?” His voice cracks. It was weird. He was so perfect, he walked perfectly, he talked perfectly, and he dressed perfectly. Yet here he was, slowly breaking down as his world-my world begins to rot and die.
Looking down at Bella, she gives me a small smile before shifting away. The Blondy takes my place, but instead wraps a thicker blanket against her frame. Edward barely spared me a look as we began walking a trail into the woods, by the river so the ones on the inside couldn’t listen in.
“You know… I’d always known you’d destroy her… just not in this way..” I couldn’t help but to bring myself to say it. I’ve been coming here for a week and every time I see her… and see what IT does to her I can’t but hate this freak even more.
Staring longingly at the trees Edward takes a shaky breath, an attempt to get fresh air before slowly turning towards me. “She… she thinks Carlisle can turn her at the last minute,” My back straightens at this.
At this point did I have a choice? It was too late, her body failing her every day, I knew this was coming but I wish I wasn’t going to be there to witness it.
“Like he did for me and Esme.” He finishes.
This time it was me who took in a deep breath, nerves running through me. This could work, it had to. “Well… can he??” I questioned, quickly wanting an answer and not some wordplay.
“It’s… slight.” Bringing my hands up to my face I release an aggressive sigh. I guess I should’ve known that. I mean, look at her.
“Edward… she has to live.”
“And if her heart stops…” he pauses, amber eyes falling into the leaves and dirt as if he’d given up. This isn’t the time to give up. “Go on with it.” My hands drop to my sides, fists clinching, not wanting him to say it, but I wanted him to. Just so he could feel that this was real, that this pain hurts.
“Jacob… do something for me…” I scoffed. How dare he.
“If not for me then for her!” He asserted.
Now I’m listening. Looking back at him I sigh, tilting my head so he’d know to continue.
“You have this… connection to her that I’ll never understand. Maybe you could talk to her, to try… to try to save her,” his lip quivers as if he’s about to cry.
“You could keep her alive.”
Tuh… there was no changing Bella Swan's mind. In the back of my mind… I knew. I knew how this was going to end. But I needed to try.
“And if I can’t?”
“If she dies…” there it was. Edward Masen. His eyes went blank, no light in those stone-cold pupils as he spoke about the maybe death of the love of my life. I almost felt pity for him. But unfortunately, I had months of preparation for this day.
“If she dies,” he repeated as if it was hard to get out. “You get what you always wanted, to kill me.” He shrugs. He shrugs as if it was the simplest thing ever.
“I can’t live without her.”
Walking back into the living room, the first thing I see is a smaller Bella wrapped around a heavy comforter and fuzzy grey socks.
She dismissed blondy-or Rose before I took my seat on the couch in front of her.
“You two besties now?” I try to lift the sour mood from earlier, which she appreciates with a smile. “Rose knows what I want. I guess we have some things in common.” She sighs as if this was the beginning of something great.
“How’s ___?” Ugh… she just had to say it huh? My sister…
I’m betraying her right now, and it hurts.
“Um…”I chew on my lip as I looked down. How can I say this without stressing her out more? “Um, what?… hey… don’t tell me something bad happened... Rose and Alice said they saw her the other day with Leah. Said she looked… different.” She plays with the blanket, a small nervous tic.
“No, no nothing bad… well… ___ is kinda dealing with some wolf hormones right now… and she imprinted on Embry.” Bella smiles her beautiful smile, before settling on a closed-lip one. “Well- I guess I kinda assumed that would happen… she looked different during the wedding. And… tell her I said good luck on the whole imprinting journey… and, and that I’m sorry.” The smile was no longer on her face. She still felt bad about the whole wedding situation.
I didn’t get much information on it, my dad and Sue filled me in once I came back. “I’ll make sure to tell her that… she needs to hear it.”
She does need to hear that… the woman your man cheated on you with, the woman who’s now pregnant with death itself has the balls to apologize… but not me…
I fucking suck.
“So… did Edward send you in here to change my mind?” She grins weakly
“Sort of. Though I’m not sure why, it’s not like you listen to me, you never did.” We both laugh at this. So stubborn.
“What are you thinking bells? Seriously.”
She rests her bony hand on her belly. “I know it seems like a bad thing. Something that… shouldn’t even exist. But it’s not, it’s not scary, it’s beautiful, a baby. He’s a miracle.”
I scoff again, trying my hardest to not say something offensive, or at least try to play it as a joke. “So it’s a bouncing baby boy?- I’m sorry I didn’t know, should’ve brought some blue balloons.”
She grins, shaking her head. “It’s just a guess… I’ve been having dreams about a curly-headed boy. And my dreams are usually real. I guess we’ll see.” I shake my head, elbows now on my knees as I leaned in.
“No… you won’t.”
“Jacob I can do this! I’m strong enough ” She says, hope in her eyes.
I could feel the anger come back to me, the anger I felt when I first saw her bruised belly.
“Tuh- oh come oooon. You can yap that shit to your bloodsucker but you don’t fool me, Bella.” Her brows push together from the cursing.
“I’m not blind Bella, I can SEE what that thing doing to you, that pixie girl said it! She can’t see you anymore, she can’t see you alive!” My voice began to raise, but I couldn’t bring myself to feel bad as I watched her lean backward.
“You’re wrong…” It made me sick at how bright those brown eyes were. She had so much hope that this would work, but my gut, my gut tells me otherwise.
“And when you die… what was it all for? Huh? Me loving you, you loving him, how is that fair? Huh? Tell me Bella how is that right to anyone?” She stayed quiet, the face of mourning on her face. She knew I was leaving slowly.
“Cuz I sure don’t see it.” She begins to tear up, and I feel my heart-shattering. I keep breaking my promise to her. Breathing out I get off the couch and sit on my knees in front of her, gently taking her cold hand that rested on her belly.
“Listen to me, Bella…. Please!” I begged, my eyes getting blurry but I blink away the tears so I can stare right into her eyes. “Just don’t… don’t do this. Live- okay? Screw my emotions, don’t do it for me or Edward. But do it for Charlie! Do it Renée!” She lets out a sob, her lips curling into each other before looking out the window.
“Jake…” that wasn’t fair of me, but life isn’t fair. THIS isn’t fair.
“Everything is going to be okay.”
Even though she heard my words, she refused to listen to them.
Letting out a broken breath, I nodded, eyes going down to glare at the kicking belly before I take my hand away from hers and stand up.
Jake- don’t go!” She sighed, throat too fragile to raise her voice. But I grabbed my jacket before giving her one good look.
“I know how this ends.” I force myself to keep my eyes on hers, but they found their way back to her stomach. “I’m not sticking around to watch.”
And so I walked off.
Walking past Rose, past Edward, and past Carlisle until I reached my motorcycle.
All that anger I was storing from her came back. I couldn’t even bring myself to start up the engine before I threw the leather jacket against the gravel and kicked the machine against the trees.
Then I felt that heat again. That burning heat that I grew to admire.
I felt myself rip out my skin and run into the woods, the burning lasting a fraction of a second before I howled out.
“Jake?” ___ called out
“Jacob, what’s wrong?” No, no no no Seth shut up, I tried whipping my head, trying to force the images of Bella sitting there half dead, of her bruised stomach from a week ago, of Edward asking me to kill him. Of me begging, pleading with her to give her life another chance. And the soft voice of Bella trying to call me back.
Visions in my head and voices in my ears, I didn’t notice the car suddenly swerving to the side to come to a stop. But I didn’t give them a chance to let them look as I hopped back into the woods.
I howled once more, calling for the pack, just hoping that there was a way for them to help
“Jake??”
“Jake!”
“Jacob what going on??”
“Jake this can’t be real”
We all run to the meeting spot, at the peer where the trees lay for construction.
“Is it true Jacob?” Paul asked lips coming over his teeth as he circled me. “It’s growing fast,” he says again, the others coming behind me.
Leah gets there with Seth, her voice louder than the others, “It’s unnatural!” “Dangerous!” Jared's voice yelled after hers. “An abomination!” Paul growls, causing me to bare my teeth in defense, but Quil was quick to choose his side. “We can’t have that thing on our land!”
“We can’t allow it!” They repeated as they circled me.
“She’s pregnant…”
___…
|___ pov|
Everyone turns to face you. And for the first time in a while, you felt like a kicked dog. The flashes of Bella and her bruised protruding belly as she sat there pale. Her voice echoed and meshed with Edwards. Then his lone voice whispered, “If she dies, you get what you’ve always wanted, to kill me.”
Whimpering, your ears press to the back of your head, feet taking a step backward. “Y/n..” Embry walks up to you, feeling your hurt
He got her pregnant. After you thought that pain was away, it was back, and it was fresh. So fresh you felt your heart bleeding.
Then a throaty bark sounded from above us. Sam.
“We have to protect the tribe. We come first, Forks is always first!” You huff out from your snout, your sides instantly warmer as you felt Seth and Embry get closer to you.
“Once that thing is born it won’t be able to control its thirst!”
“We’re ready!” Jared announced
“No time to waste. Let’s go!” This time it was Leah, making you peel back your lip in a growl.
“Let’s think this through!” Your voice echoes in their heads, Leah, the first one to approach you. “Absolutely not! ___, remember what they’ve done to you! You got hurt by those bloodsuckers! They deserve it!” Not like this.. not like this.
They don’t need to hurt like this.
“Right now?!” Jacob steps up to Sam, his ears twitching back
“We have to get rid of it before it’s born.”
Oh god…
“You mean… kill Bella?” Seth steps beside Jacob, which you get in front of him just in case Sam had the thought of putting the younger in his place.
“Seth…”
“Her choice affects all of us!” A growl is released from your throat, a sign which Sam takes as disrespect. His brown eyes flick toward you.
“What do you have to say?”
“Sam don’t do this!”
Embry speaks up, approaching you, only to get shut down with a bark from Sam.
“I won’t be a part of this! Me and my brother won’t do it!” It was time to act like a big sibling, your big body pushing Jacobs over so he wouldn’t get hurt.
“You, are nothing but a lost puppy. You don’t get to say anything!” He barks, but you didn’t flench like the others around you. You were good at taking disrespect you just recently found out. But you still felt it, the need to bow down and obey the alpha, you just couldn’t do it.
“Bella’s human!” Jacob cuts in, trying to get the attention back to himself. “Our protection applies to her!”
“She’s dying anyways!” Leah snaps her teeth, digging them into the fat of jacobs neck. Oh fuck no.
That friendship meant shit to you if she disrespects your brother in front of you. You moved faster, clenching your jaw down into her neck to pull her off of him. “Don’t touch him!” You seethed, wide tongue coming out to lick your teeth. Leah’s ears press against her head as it ducks down in submission
Being older only gets you some places. But being Ephraim Black's great-granddaughter gave you the advantage. You were supposed to be the Alpha. And the others were realizing it.
“Enough!” You gave the girl one last growl before whipping your head back to Sam
“We have real enemies to fight tonight!” He starts coming down the tower of logs, making his way toward you and your brother.
“Tonight?!” You and Jakes voice sync, Seth’s whine catching your brother’s attention. But you didn’t dare take your eyes away from Sams.
“You will fight with us. The both of you.” He commands, causing you both to step back. “Jacob don’t you fucking listen to this old bitch.” You growl, head ducking down, which Sam snips at you, teeth almost coming closed on your snout before you backed up just in time.
You snarl at him, Jake doing the same thing. It was only for a few seconds before you finally made up your mind.
You were leaving.
You had to.
“I won’t! I will not sit here and go kill my best friend and her child! I am the granddaughter of Ephraim Black!
“And I am the grandson of Ephraim Black!
“We aren’t meant to take orders from you Sam Uley. I wasn’t born to follow you or anyone else. But I will follow my brother. Because we know what’s right! And this shit ain’t right!”
“___!” Embry yelled out, knowing what you were going to do.
You ignored him, you had to. ”I’m out!” You bark, teeth on display as you bump into Sam, and went up the logs.
Fuck them. I don’t need them.
“So, you choose your little brother instead huh?”
You send him a glare before focusing your eyes on the White House in front of you, the Cullens house. “Okay… I deserve that. I betrayed you, your trust… I deserve this.”
Boy, fuck you.
“I betrayed my imprint. My friends… but I do this because know what's right and what's wrong... And this shit is wrong.” I shake my head, heart heavy with what felt like grief when I bring up embry.
We never got to hang out together. Will we ever? Now that I broke my bond with that pack, we’ll see each other less, and it’ll hurt like hell.
“Garcelle called today.”
Jacob whips his head toward me with wide eyes, but he couldn’t get anything out as the trees move behind us. A boy with a tilted smile comes out, letting you release a sigh.
“Seth.” You and your brother say at the same time, making you roll your eyes.
“Kid, what are you doing here?” You asked, eyes immediately searching your perimeter for any more movement. “Don’t worry! No one followed.” He smiles brightly
“Go home, Seth.” Your brother rolled his eyes. “No! I can’t, I won’t stand behind him! I like Bella and Edward!”
“Oh yes, you will! I’m not kidding, get outta here.” Jacob talks back, arms coming across his chest. Seth's mouth forms into a pout, a sigh coming from his nose. “Or what? Is that an order? You gonna make me bow down to?” Jake rolled his eyes once again, an attitude deep in his roots. You keep having to remind yourself that he is just a kid himself, barely 17.
“I’m not ordering anyone. It’s not like I can… ___ is the alpha.” Seth gasps and faces me, but I keep my eyes on the White House in front of me. “Don’t put me in this.”
“Can I stay? Please??” You closed your eyes with a groan.
Seth was just a kid, not knowing the sacrifices he was going to make during this.
“Seth- are you willing to fight your friends-your sister if it comes down to it? Huh?” You weren't going to say no to him, but he needs to know what the hell is real and what’s not.
But he was ready, a determined look on his face as he gives you a nod. “If that’s what it takes to do the right thing.” You give Jacob a look, and he shrugs. “Fine… you’re in.”
“Woo! Hell yeah!”
“Language.”
“Yup! Can do.”
“Jake, go give the Cullens a heads up. I’m going to run the perimeter.” This was just an excuse for you to not see Edward. You haven’t seen him since the wedding and honestly, you’ll force yourself to keep it that way.
“Right-wait! Take him.” Your younger brother points to the young boy. Grinning you shake your head. “Whatever. Come one kid.”

In my werewolf au Daryl is a timber wolf (for specifics maybe a northern rocky mountain wolf). Do I care that he was born in Georgia and not Canada? No! He's my blorbo and I get to do what I want to him.
Honestly though, what form would he be in? The typical anthropomorphic were, a feral one or just a massive wolf like some twilight stuff?? I like to pretend he'd be like a twilight werewolf/shapeshifter, despite it being genetic related.

You were not a violent person. In fact, you hated any kind of physical confrontation and considered yourself a pacifist. You always were one to stay calm and walk away whenever someone tried to get under your skin.
You never thought the drive to protect others would make you go feral, but you discovered it the day someone endangered someone you love.
It was stupid. The classic, popular high school kids gave other students a hard time. When they nagged as you walked by, you did as always: royally ignored them. Honestly, their words didn't even filter through your brain. You knew they didn't have anything important or original to say anyway.
But suddenly, their lousy comments started filtering in. Confused, you turned around to understand they weren't talking to you but to your friend. You could see how she slumped her shoulders and tried to disappear into the ground as they circled her. Your heart started beating faster, your blood boiled in your veins, and unconsciously, you clenched your fists until you felt a slicing pain in your palm.
The comments and nagging continued until you planted yourself in front of them, shielding your friend from their eyes. They sized you up, laughing at your attempt at bravery. While you weren't looking, one of them pushed your friend on you, hopping to make you tumble down pathetically, but something got ahold of your blood, of your every muscle, and very soul. This ever-growing feeling and instinct to protect yourself and the ones you loved took over. That's probably how you ducked so fast, pushed your friend out of harm's way, and swung your fist as hard as you could.
"I can't believe you would ever get in a fight!" said Emily for the third time.
You stared at the ground as she hurried around the kitchen, grabbing supplies to wipe the blood from your nose and split lip. You didn't say anything, and neither did the boys.
You hadn't said anything since they forced you out of the crowd before you injured one of the bullies too seriously.
Emily kept blabbering about violence and how fighting was never the solution while she grabbed a bag of frozen peas. She stomped to you, dropping it in your hands as she asked. "Don't you have anything to say for yourself?"
You leveled your gaze to hers, looked at the group around you, and only said, "They deserved it."
She let out a frustrated sigh, confused and frustrated with your attitude. You were a good kid, had always been. She knew there must have been a good explanation for why you did what you did.
You hoped she would finally give up the lecture and leave you alone, but when Sam entered the room, you knew you were still in for a while. His dark stare communicated much more than his words ever could. Sam was your cousin, but he also was your legal guardian ever since your parents died. You grew up with him, and he had become the most important parental figure in your life. He walked over to you with deadly calm, making all the other boys thankful not to be at the receiving end of his anger.
He grabbed a chair and sat right in front of you. "Why?"
"They deserved it," was all you answered once again. "You will have to do better than that if you don't want to be grounded for the rest of your life." You leveled him a look, and he noticed there was something there, something different. "Y/n, what happened?"
The same light of uncertainty and fear shone in your eyes. "I don't know," you finally whispered. "I don't know what happened. One minute, I was walking away from them, carrying on with my day as I always do. The other, I was in their face, feeling this rage gnawing at me."
Complete silence.
"Do you know what made you feel that way?" softly asked your cousin. The angry look had left his eyes, replaced with the soft and compassionate one he only let a few people see.
"I'm not sure, but I know once I heard them talking shit about my friend and saw how scared she was… I just wanted to protect her. One of them tried pushing us from behind, and I have no idea how, but I managed to duck, push Leila away, and punch him right in the face in the span of a second," you stared at them all, the shock and confusion in their face. "But the worst was that once I started punching, I didn't have to think about my moves… They all came naturally. There was this thing inside of me just repeating I needed to protect, and so I did. I honestly have no idea when I would have stopped if they hadn't stepped in." You finished with a grateful look at your friends.
Sam stayed dead silent, lost in thought. Unsure whether what you were telling him meant what he thought it did. This was all going too fast. He couldn't, wouldn't tell you about this right now. He would need to discuss with the rest of the pack and see what they thought before making any more moves.
You could cut the tension in the room with a knife. Even Emily, always so joyful, seemed lost in an inner world of only her knowing. You looked around at the people surrounding you, your gaze jumping from one to the other, trying to find answers in their eyes.
Until Jake broke the loaded silence, "Then I guess you were right. They did deserve it."
The smile slowly lightening up your features made them all breathe a little easier. "Now come on, put those frozen peas on your eye before it turns all blue and mushy. We wouldn't want to be deprived of the sight of your beautiful face, uh?" he said while walking to you with his signature grin.
Sam gave him a quick thankful look before looking at the other members of his pack, wondering how on earth they would deal with this.

Brothers Best Friend Pt.2
Pt.1
Sam Uley! x Fem!Reader!
A/N: Part Two of a two-part series where Sam is your brother's friend. Slightly based on the plot of New Moon. Emily is Sam's cousin in this. Sorry this took me so long, I've been super busy. Sorry if this sucks lol I didn't proofread but I hope you like it. Feel free to comment, I would love feedback! Stay tuned for my Fred Weasley fics soon!
Warnings//: Profanity.
Summary: Sam is your brother's best friend. What happens when suddenly you start hearing rumors that they have joined a gang and gone off the rails.
B/N=Brothers name (make one up if you wish
Tumblr media
"I only have one, why did my brother attack Sam like that? It was out of nowhere, I couldn't even react. It all happened so fast," you ask with confusion trying to wrap your head around all of this.
She looked at you a bit stunned as if she didn't know that piece of information, and you had just said something bizarre.
"He what?" she stuttered. "Wait B/N attacked Sam? Is that why they shifted? I thought the boys caught a whiff of....... never mind" she trailed off, not meaning to slip up.
"Caught a whiff of what?" you ask, staring at her intensely. She looks up at you like a guilty child getting caught doing something wrong by their parents, she avoids your eyes and stands up starting to clean up what you assume was lunch, until the boys were interrupted.
"Of what, Emily" you press, a bit more sternly.
Just as Emily was about to speak, all of the boys barged into the house playfully pushing each other around. You search the group for your brother and Sam. They must still be outside. You sit there as Emily laughs at the boy’s antics and kisses her boyfriend Jared. They all turn to look at you.
“I guess the Wolf’s out of the bag” Embry remarks with a smirk.
“Sorry if we scared you Y/n,” Quil says with a sheepish smile, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly.
You smile shyly at them
“ It’s okay, I think the initial shock is gone,” you say with a breathy laugh.
“Sam and B/n are on the porch if you want to go talk to them,” Jared added, moving to sit at the table and grabbing a muffin.
You nod your head and stand up, walking to the front door nervously. You could hear your heartbeat booming in your ears. You were more nervous to talk to Sam than anyone. Ever since you made eye contact you couldn't get him out of your head, you feel guilty but your brother barely crossed your mind. You should have been worried about B/n but you couldn’t help but worry for Sam, wondering why B/n would attack him and if he was okay. You near the door and before you can open it your brother walks into the house. You stare at each other for a while, he can tell on your face that he isn’t the one you were hoping to see. He doesn’t say a word, only tossing his head back to the porch and continuing to walk into the kitchen. You continue to walk out of the house and see Sam sitting on the steps with his head in his hands. He looks up when he hears your footsteps. You sit next to him and look out at the trees, not saying a word.
“I assume Emily filled you in” Sam begins, hesitation clear in his voice.
“She did, at least part of it. I know what you and the rest of the boys are. I don’t know why, or what any of this means though.” You answer. You hear him sigh, and when you look over at him you can see he’s restraining himself, like he wants to say something but is hesitating heavily. Trying to find the right words before he begins.
“I need you to trust me, I need you to listen and I need you to promise me you won’t take off running before I finish explaining” He breathed.
You stare at him momentarily, a bit scared and shocked at what he is saying. You already know he is a werewolf, what could he tell you that would make you run when you haven’t already?
“Okay, I promise” You accepted. You were nervous, but you couldn’t help the pull you felt towards Sam. You could sit there for hours not saying a word and be perfectly content. You tried to push your feelings down in his moment, now was not the time to let your emotions take control.
“Growing up with the stories of our tribe, you already know what we are… but there are things, secrets, only the pack members and elders know.” He sighs, breath shaking from nervousness.
You sit waiting patiently for him to continue.
“None of this was a choice, not a single one of us chose this for ourselves. I don’t think any of us would choose this life if we did have a say in it.” He takes a moment to glance at you, then continues. “ In our world, there is something called an imprint. An imprint is a person that you have a special bond with. When you meet this person,  it is no longer gravity holding you to the earth… it's them. Having an imprint is like having a best friend, a lover, a sister, or anything that the bond decides that you are. It's not always romantic, it can be whatever the imprint decides they need. We wolves go along with it, we are happy to. On our side of things, we will be whatever the imprint wants or needs. We act as a built-in protector, friend, family member, or…lover.” he trails, glancing at you to read your face.
“ So what does this have to do with me?” You say confused.
“You are my imprint Y/N, I understand all of this is shocking and crazy. If you need time to figure things out I will support that and whatever else you need. Just say the word and I will back off.” He says rushing, trying to be clear that you have a choice even if he doesn’t.
“Do you even like me? I mean I know you said that it doesn’t have to be romantic but do you even want me to be your imprint?” You said, insecurity dripped from your words. You didn't mean to sound so rude or disappointed but you wanted to know that these feelings were not one-sided. You had feelings for him and now you’re bonded, but he is making it seem like he wouldn’t have picked you if he had the choice.
He doesn’t have a choice. This thought repeats in your head filling the silence that takes over until he begins speaking again.
“You’re my best friend's little sister” He heaves a sigh. He puts his head in his hands and grips his hair before looking up at you again.
“Fuck it” He mumbles before grabbing the back of your head and bringing you closer to him in one smooth motion. You can feel the heat coming off your body, your cheeks become warmer and you become more nervous under his intense gaze. He looks down at your lips and then into your eyes, waiting for you to pull away or tell him to stop. You sit there shocked for a second, mind racing and body not fully responding to what is happening.
“Yes,” you speak barely above a whisper, answering his unasked question.
That's all he needs before he connects your lips, grip still on the back of your head. Your eyes close and you sink into the moment. All the years of pining suddenly become clear as the kiss deepens. Two people who have tried to keep their feelings hidden finally let them flow as their mouths move perfectly in sync. The kiss is aggressive, hard, and fueled by fire but also soft, warm, and loving. Contradicting itself but turning into the perfect blend of yin and yang. It was a representation of the people who made it.
You both pull away out of breath but longing for more. You open your eyes, catching your breath. You push on his chest softly and back up. As amazing as the kiss was, you needed to hear him say how he felt. You needed to know that it wasn’t just the imprint bond.
He quickly realized what you were searching for and smiled softly, moving his hand from your head and taking your hands into his own.
“I’ve been in love with you since we were kids” he said blushing, looking down at his hands and then looking out to the beach in the distance.
“I knew since the day your brother and I were playing with BB guns and he shot me in the forehead. Even though it was an accident you screamed at him and called him stupid for not being more careful.” You both laugh softly at the memory, he smiles at you before continuing. “You took me inside and gave me a bag of frozen peas to put on my head. I was embarrassed but you looked at me with the purest look in your eyes and told me that ‘everyone got hurt and it was okay to let someone else help you every once and a while’. I realized how special you are, I wanted to be around you to feel that comfort that you so easily gave. From that day on my feelings only grew, but I didn’t want your brother to find out. I thought that he would hate me, I thought that I would be a bad friend for even considering liking you. So I hid it, and slowly I started ignoring you. I feel horrible for it but I had to, I couldn't talk to you or even be near you without feeling like I was going to slip up and reveal what I was trying to suppress. I also never even considered that you would ever feel the same. So I’m sorry I never told you and I ignored you for so long but I didn’t feel like I had any other choice” He finishes his rant letting out a long breath
You smile widely, gazing at him lovingly. You reach up and turn his head to face you, taking his face into your hands.
“ How did you not realize what was right in front of you, I've felt the same way for so long I can't even begin to tell you how long I've felt this way.” You breathe out a laugh. “I understand, why you did what you did. I did the same honestly, I was scared of how B/N would react so I pushed down my feelings and tried to act normal. Sam we don’t have to hide ourselves anymore. I want this”
You take his hand in your own squeezing it slightly. “If this is what you want, you have a choice in this as well,” You say kindly.
He looks at your hands interlinked and then back at you smiling softly. “Of course, this is what I want, this will always be what I want Y/N”
You share another loving kiss before you hear loud cheering and hollering coming from inside. You both turn your heads to see the boys celebrating and acting like it’s New Year's. They start plummeting towards you both, patting Sam on the back and pushing him.
“Yeah, yeah. Chill out guys” Sam demands, smiling and shoving them backwards.
You stare at them smiling and laughing at their antics, until you see your brother standing in the doorway.
“You have my blessing by the way,” He says with a smirk.
“Like I need it” You retort rolling your eyes at his cockiness.
You stand up and follow him inside, while the boys continue to gush about how they can finally stop hearing Sam’s sad and depressing thoughts about you.
Your brother tells you that he didn’t mean to react the way he did but the wolf can be hard to control. He informs you about all that he’s been going through these past months and how he wanted to tell you and your parents for so long, but since Sam is the alpha what he says goes. You tell him to go see your parents tomorrow and how much pain he has caused the family.
After the talk, you both head down to the beach and sit around the fire. You’re cuddling with Sam, surrounded by everyone laughing and enjoying the clear-skied night. You realize this is exactly where you want to be. This is exactly what you’ve wanted for a long time. You’re going to love this new life that is forming in front of you.

I have so many questions about children of the moon werewolves.
If werewolves in human and beast form are immune to the affects of vampire venom, than are vampires immune to whatever toxin werewolves produce that spreads their infection? Vampires are physically unchanging, so I doubt werewolf toxin would cause them to turn into werewolves. But maybe vampires are immune to any deadly side effects?
Are hybrids immune to werewolf bite? Or would werewolf toxin infect a hybrid's human blood, turning them into a werewolf/vampire hybrid?
What happens if a QuiIeute werewolf is bitten by a child of the moon werewolf? Vampire venom is poisonous to Quileute wolves, not deadly on its own but can be when coupled with serious injuries. Is that the same for a werewolf bite? Would Quileute wolves be immune to the infection? Or would it do something like make them unable to control their phasing?
Are there signs that a human has been infected by a werewolf? Is there a change in their behavior? Would they smell different to a vampire or Quileute wolf? Is their a transformation process? A victim would likely be bitten during a full moon right? Would they turn right away? Or would their first transformation happen during the next full moon?

Embry Call X OC
Prologue chapter to my fic Cozy on both Wattpad and Fanfiction.net
Tropes:
Slow burn
High school crushes
Popular guy + Shy Socially Awkward girl
Tumblr media
Winnie’s POV
Someone should have told me that my crush was that obviously in plain sight for anyone to see.
I somehow convinced myself that I was mature about it. I thought I kept my crush mostly to myself. I thought I was careful not to do double takes at him, or try not to sit in the desk next to him whenever we had a class together.
I didn't let myself like Embry Call.
I tried my hardest to avoid him in the halls, I never mentioned him—let alone told anyone—I didn't even look at him. I had my back to Embry all four years of high school.
But everyone within ten feet of me knew the whole time. No one told me how bad I actually had it for Embry Call.
I was mortified when my friends first told me how I should go to a party because Embry was suppose to be there. They said it so casually, so knowingly, as if they were talking about the weather. While I was so speechless that my mouth dried up. I barely managed to ask them how many people knew ten minutes later. They shrugged me off, they were sure I knew everyone in our grade already knew I liked Embry since middle school.
I was so humiliated I just hid in their bathroom till it was time to go. One of my friends did her best to apply makeup on me in the car. She was so excited for Embry to see me with eyeliner, blush and lipstick that was shakily applied in a dark car. I barely remember if it turned out scary or decent because it was the least mortifying part of that night.
With a reservation as small as La push, most parties often end up at the beach. Everyone in the school always shows up to the beach parties. No parents, and plenty of space and the beach keeps people entertained, which all make it the perfect party venue. It was the last day of summer, the first day of school started in just twelve hours. The entire three hundred something student body packed the beach, half of them already in the water and the rest building bonfires or serving out the jungle juice. That was local tradition, each student had to bring a bottle of any kind of liquor to mix in or be shared. La Push jungle juice never tasted like fireball and gummy worms; it tasted like cans of beers and stolen booze from our parents, and it guaranteed the worst hangover of your life. Only the strong could handle it. Tourists can barely endure a cup.
I didn't.
"You're not gonna forget this night." My friend Skylar laughed, but looking back at it now I should have taken it as a warning. She was right. I never did live this night down.
I can still feel the sand in the night air brushing over my exposed shoulders whenever I think about this night. I feel the heat blasting on my skin where hands squeezed. Then immediately the hordes of laughing and ridicule.
I'm not going to play victim, and tell myself that was the worst night of my life. It wasn't. God knows I've had dozens of harder nights. But it's the night that changed everything, and even after all these years La Push won't let me forget it. Till this day I'm still known as the Drunk Girl on the rez.
All my friends thought Embry and I was such a cute idea. They were all supportive, but at age fifteen it was more pushy than helpful. Skylar lent me her bikini, and swapped for my regular one piece that was one size too small for her, which showed off the beginnings of her new boobs. While me, who barely hit puberty barely filled out her baby blue, triangle, stringy two piece. They had to triple knot the measly string before we all got into the car.
Even now I still won't wear a bikini.
Anyone and everyone could see how red my body flushed when I was swimming in that two piece. An embarrassingly orangey-pink blush that I couldn't hide. All I could do that night was tugged the bottoms as high they would go and pray the knot held over and over again.
After being clued in, I felt like everyone noticed when I found Embry in the crowd when we first got there. He was surrounded by his friends on a blanket, all of them still long haired and boyish. Sixteen year old me thought everyone was staring, and they were...just not yet.
My friends figured if everyone knew, then what was to lose if I tried talking to him? Then I realized the worst right when I walked up to him; what if Embry knew I liked him? He was nice when I froze up and walked off. He offered me a wave while his friends snickered in the midst of me running away to the nearest cluster of people for an exit; the makeshift bar.
That was my first mistake.
I downed at least three cupfuls by the time I got in the water. I couldn't walk straight anymore. I figured the next best thing was to float and bobble till I could feel my knees again. I nearly sunk like a rock when I saw Embry drop his shirt at the shoreline. I swear the water got warmer when he swam in.
I'd usually pretend I didn't see Embry, then probably get out of the water for good measure. But young and drunk is a bad combination. Instead I swam up right next to him.
"Hey Winnie." He was nice enough to say hi when he noticed me, because Embry is too polite and sweet for the average teenager. His hair was down, the long brown mane stuck to the back of his neck and shoulders.
"Hi." For one measly word, I managed to slur it. I still turn red at the memory of that goofy grin I gave him.
"You look like you're having a good time. Are you good?" He chuckled at how drunk I was. He made my school girl dreams a reality when he inched closer to put a supporting hand at the back of my neck, just in case he had to pull me up if I went under.
"Super." I barely held my head up over a wave. The tide almost sent me drifting, but Embry's hand caught me before I got swept off. A firm hand holding me at the curve of my shoulder, another keeping me close by the small of my back. He pulled me in so close our knees kept softly colliding underwater, and I could see the water sticking to his lashes.
"I know you're a tough girl and all, but being this far out when you're this tipsy isn't the best idea." Embry looped an arm around me, his hand going from my lower back to the curve of my hip. I was so wasted I didn't remember how I let out a pleased hum till the morning after. "Let's get you to the kiddie pool."
"Embry, I should have asked you ou—"
The ocean pulled back far, then a wave silenced me. Half the beach was pushed back towards the shore. It crashed on top of us, flattening us into the sand. Water burned up my nose while mouthfuls of it were so cold then salty it stung like battery acid as it forced its way down. The tides flipped me against my will, threatening to pull my neck in the opposite direction of my body was dragged towards. Just when I thought I found the ocean floor, a second wave landed on me. The only thing I could do was thrash and hope I figured out where the surface was.
"Winnie!" Embry and I were ripped apart. But he went back for me. He pulled me up by my elbows, helping me up to feet. "You're alright, you're alright..."
The rush of cold wasn't what made me figure it out. No, the piercing wolf whistle was the giveaway. Then the laughing broke out.
The wave knock off the bikini.
The top was drifting towards shore, while the bottoms were dragged off towards the sea.
I was too scared to even cry or shout. All I could manage was a dunk back into the water in a weak attempt to hide. I grabbed what I could, reached around and clutched with a white knuckle grip till skin threatened to rip.
The whole beach was laughing at me, even the sea was cackling. The louder they laughed, the more exposed my skin felt. The entire student body saw every inch of my body. They saw all of it, all tongue, cheeks, and lips. No matter how much more I sunk into the ocean, they couldn't unsee it.
If I had just one or the other half on, I would have made a run for it. But both my hands were only enough for one of the other, not that much skin. I wasn't sure if the salt in my eyes or the humiliation that made the tears well up.
"Look at me." Then there was Embry, blocking me from the crowd as much as he could. I only caught a glance of him before he came in and out of my blurry vision. A sweatshirt billowed around me and resisted the water before being weighed down then sinking. The fabric was cold rather than comforting from all the water.
"Just look at me." Embry assured, pulling the sweatshirt as far down as it'll go before helping me to my feet. I didn't even know he ran to shore and back to get this.
Our hands clutch at each other as I stumbled back up shore. I was so wasted, if I let go I felt like I would land into the sand. I didn't even bother to get my stuff. Instead, I immediately rushed across the beach, hurried past the parked cars and ignored the pointing and cellphones as much as I could. I picked up some speed when the sand gave away to solid dirt and grass.
Even far away from everyone, and I still felt completely naked.
"Winnie," Embry slowed down, pulling us to stop. The humiliation sobered me up, and the realization had hit me so suddenly a headache rushed to the front of my head. I pulled back, only to find out how much I needed the support to stand up straight. My head aware but legs were still drunk, I stumbled over my own feet till I landed into a tree.
"I'm not gonna bother even asking if you're okay, when I know you're not. Can I drive you home? Take you to get some food?" Embry reached for me, offering a hand like he done all night. It was then I noticed he was shaking, still shirtless to the waist down, he was soaking wet.
"The whole school just saw me naked." I rasped, nearing hyperventilation. I could feel the burn of the alcohol again, only this time rising back up instead of down.
"At least you're drunk." He didn't answer. Not with a lame lie about how no one saw me to spare my feelings, which I appreciated the honesty more than the fleeting comfort. But he didn't say yes either.
"Help me change schools. Or dump my body somewhere." I keeled over, not sure if I was going to throw up or just needed a place to hide. I couldn't stand it. Every curve and inch of my body felt polished, pinched and rubbed from all the eyes. I felt violated.
"I'm sorry, Winnie. I'm so sorry." Embry apologized, hugging his arms across his chest, sending water everywhere.
"You didn't have to. It wasn't your fault."
"It wasn't your fault either." Embry pointed out. "Is there anything I can do? Anything?"
"Not unless you can go back in time and drown me instead," My legs finally gave out from under me and I landed into the grass with a thump that made Embry jumped. "I'm just gonna sit here."
I needed a moment from all the running, from all the laughing, from all of the last few hours of my life. The party could still be heard from the beach, the music and crackle of the bonfire floated over the treetops to us.
"You don't have to have to stay." I said to Embry who instead lowered down next to me. Not too fast though, as if it'll make me motion sick.
"Not a chance." Embry's hand landed on my knee, then gave it a squeeze that made me even dizzier. "I'm staying till you feel better."
"I just flashed the entire school, and all in front of the guy I like. I'm not gonna feel better till I graduate."
"Lucky guy then." Embry chuckled, the rumble made my stomach do an excited leap. Then immediately lurched afterwards like I might throw up. "You should have taken him out to dinner first, Winnie."
"I doubt he'll say yes if I ask now." I clutched my legs to my chest, and hoped it would help lessen the nausea.
"No, he'll definitely say yes now. He'll be crazy not to. Who wouldn't want to see you from head to toe again?" My heart jumped so hard it rammed into my rib cage. The earth tilted on its edge, and nearly sent me toppling over into the grass. I had to hold my breath so I wouldn't have gasped.
"Whose the guy you like? Do I know him?" Embry asked, his voice threatening to crack a bit at the end like puberty. Drunken me had the urge to say him of course, apparently the whole school knew, which meant Embry should have known too. Yet, I still couldn't live with it. How was I suppose to even say, 'I know that you know I like you.' Let alone even ask a boy out? I was fifteen and hopeless and awkward like everyone else. Then I was fifteen, hopeless, awkward, and butt naked to everyone on the Rez.
"You know him." I slurred the ending. "You definitely know him."
"So I'm guessing someone in our grade." Embry thinks it's over, his face going serious. "It's Jared Cameron isn't it? Every girl has a crush on him. But Kim had first dips since preschool—"
"It's not Jared Cameron," I shook my head to myself. "It's someone I've liked since the fifth grade. Then tonight my friends clued me in on how everyone already knew I have the biggest crush on them. Which just makes this night that much more humiliating." I buried my face into the tops of my knees, ready for the ground to swallow me whole. It felt like finding out you're actually the biggest idiot in the room and everyone had been laughing at you the whole time, but add nudity to that nightmare. I've never felt so hollowed our before.
"Don't tell me it's Paul Lahote." He groaned, throwing his head back. If half the girls in our grade haven't liked Jared Cameron since kindergarten, then the other half had a crush on Paul Lahote. "I didn't take you for one of those people who like a bad boy type."
"No, Lahote is too much of a hot head." If it hadn't been such a humiliating night I would have laughed. "The guy I like is the nicest person I know. My favorite thing I like about him is how he's the sweetest guy to anyone and everyone."
"Sounds like a winner," Embry nodded solemnly, grinding his foot into the dirt.
"He helped me tonight." I heard the slurred words before I realized I said them. A long silent moment passed before the implications of my words weighed me down. I almost cursed but everything was slowed down and delayed by the alcohol. I didn't turn red till his eyes locked on mine, "No, wait—"
I didn't get to finish, Embry closed the gap between us. He hesitated, stopping against my nose. Every hair on my body stood up on end, my body threatening to shake. He swallowed, leaned in further, with his hands reaching up to grasp me around my hips then he hesitated once more, and dropped them.
Our eyes locked, the longing gaze the only thing between us.
Embry didn't hesitate again. He closed in on me, not stopping this time till our lips met. He cupped my face to bring me in closer, the other getting tangled in my wet hair. Just as we were about to deepen the kiss there was a burst.
"Yeah, get it Call!"
"Call is making out with the school slut!"
We didn't break apart, we jumped apart. A group of drunk boys hooted and cheered as they broke through the tree line, the phones shining lights on me as they recorded everything. I stumbled back, I felt naked all over again. But this time naked and damned like a burning woman at the stake.
"Hey!" Embry squared his shoulders, shielding me as much as his scrawny fifteen year old body could. Him being shirtless made everything seem worse than it actuality was. It was almost as horrible as the beach just twenty minutes before. I didn't wait for the boys to stop recording, or for them to hoist Embry on their shoulders or whatever.
I bolted.
Wasted, humiliated, wobbly and sore from the entire night; I ran.
And I never spoke to Embry Call again.

I have this whole Twilight literary universe worked out with at least three central love stories around Paul, Seth and Embry. I probably have story material for an entire trilogy if I actually sat myself down and wrote the damn thing.
It has its own lore around vampires and werewolves, its own history too. I fixed a lot of smeyers obvious plot holes and mistakes and made everything more fun and interesting.
In my opinion it is the superior version of the franchise and I would really like to share but I am so overwhelmed and terrified of starting to work through the years and years of materials that I have.
I thought about posting some of it as one shots or short stories but I don't know if anyone would get or enjoy that since people are lacking the context that only exists in my brain so far.
But then again I just kind of really want to post it.

My Sunshine
Paul x reader       1.4k words
Y/N L/N has always lived in Forks. Normally she didn’t mind the rain. It was soothing to an extent and sleeping during a thunderstorm always managed to leave her feeling refreshed afterward. For some reason, especially the past couple of days, Y/N couldn’t wait for the next sunny day. Something deep within her longed for the warmth to make its way back to her little hometown. It was like her soul was craving the heat that the sun provided and every day that she went without it seemed to push her further into her dreadful mood. The only thing that Y/N had to look forward to was seeing her best friend, Emily. Normally Y/N would see Emily every other weekend, however with her new fiance, Sam, and all his friends around, Emily hasn’t had any free time, and seeing as Sam is Y/N’s cousin she could totally understand. Anyone could see just how in love Sam was with Emily. Plus Y/N has been really busy with school. So, Y/N has had a lot of time to herself recently. This wasn’t the worst, mostly Y/N enjoyed staying by herself, but recently she has felt a desire to go and spend time with her friend. Y/N couldn’t explain it, but something was ushering her towards the reservation and towards her best friend. It was probably just Y/N needing some attention from her best friend because she hadn’t seen her in forever. At least that’s what Y/N told herself. All she had to do was get through this week.
Mondays were the worst. This was a fact among all humans, however for Y/N this Monday seemed to drag on forever. Y/N is a junior who goes to Forks high school and has a small handful of friends that go to school here. Angela Weber was the only one Y/N trusted, but she hung out with Eric Yorkie, Mike Newton, Bella Swan, and Jessica Stanley as well. Even though they are about a year older than Y/N, they aren’t the worst people to hang out with. Most of Y/N’s close friends were on the reservation anyway. Jacob black, Embry Call, and Quil Ateara were Y/N’s childhood friends. The group of four used to do everything together and had always been close. Lately though, Y/N hasn’t seen them in a while. As much as Y/N loves Sam, he's like her brother, she can’t help but feel as though he is stealing all of her friends' attention. Y/N didn’t want to admit it to herself, but it feels as if she has been banned from the reservation. It’s been a while since she has been able to go and visit any of her friends. They always seemed busy or had something to do that day so she couldn’t come down. At first they all claimed to have mono, they said it was running rampant through La Push, so they didn’t want her down there so she wouldn’t catch anything. That was reasonable, but now it was like they were purposefully pushing her away. So when Emily invited Y/N to come and hang out she almost couldn’t believe it. Y/N has been so excited for the weekend to come she felt like she could explode. Just four more days.
It’s finally Friday. Y/N felt like time was moving backwards and Friday was only a dream that Y/N would never reach. But it's here, it’s here and Y/N is rushing through the halls to leave this dreadful place and make it to her car. Freedom is so close, seeing her friends is so close, being absolutely, ecstatically happy is so close. She rams through the doors but before she can even think, she crashes into what feels like a stone statue placed directly in her path.
“Shit…” Y/N mutters out while she rubs her forehead that received most of the impact. She slowly raised her head in order to see what exactly she had run into, but was surprised when it wasn’t a what, but a who. Emmett Cullen filled Y/N’s view and she must have almost fallen because his steel-like arms were holding her up by her elbows to steady her.
“Oh-um, sorry Y/N, I didn’t see you there,” Emmett had said in consolation to Y/N bumping into him. Before she could get another word out Emmett had left and she stood there for a second before dashing towards her car. The Cullens moved into town last year and ever since the school had been completely infatuated with the strange family. Personally, Y/N didn’t care enough to pay any attention to them. Admittedly they were supernaturally gorgeous and mysterious, but it was like when you buy a new puppy for some kids, the newness will wear off and suddenly they aren’t as important or attention capturing as before. At least Y/N thought this, though she might be the only one. The biggest shock that arrived with the strange family was Edward and Bella becoming a couple. Bella was friends with Y/N, they had known each other since they were kids, Bella tagging along with Y/N and her “boys” when they would build mud pies and swim in the freezing cold waters of La Push Beach together. When Bella moved back to Forks she immediately gravitated towards Y/N because she was the only person that Bella knew. From then they became nearly inseparable, that is until pretty boy Cullen decided to swoop Bella off her feet and suddenly they barely spoke anymore. Y/N was happy that Bella found someone, she just wished they weren’t so obsessed with each other that Bella completely disregarded Y/N and acted as if they didn’t know each other anymore. It was like Edward was the only thing that Bella had the intellectual capacity for anymore.
When Y/N reached her car all thoughts of the Cullens suddenly left her mind and she was jumping into the front seat and cranking her car faster than she thought possible. If she thought that school was slow, then the ride back to her house was impossibly drawn out. Every red light, every slow driving old person, every possible thing that could make Y/N’s normally short drive back to her house unbearable happened. When Y/N finally arrived to her humble abode she ripped her backpack off and dumped it by the front door before grasping her phone and shooting a quick text to Emily to tell her she would be there soon before sprinting up the stairs to her room with the widest grin imaginable perched on her face. She has been longing for today, to see her friends, to see her cousin, to meet some of the new people they have added to their group. Every thought of going back to the place she feels most at home made her giddy. Y/N’s parents actually live out of town, they tried to convince Y/N to move with them, but when she expressed that she had her heart set on staying in the quaint town that she had been in since she was born, they decided to simply let her stay, besides with Sam here they decided it was better than forcing Y/N to move. With Y/N being the only person in her home anymore it feels lonely sometimes, so the promise of seeing her friends has been the absolute highlight of her whole week.
Y/N was just finishing packing her bag, because Emily had decided that it had simply been too long and that she just had to stay for the full weekend, when she heard her phone go off. Looking down at the screen she had seen that it was a message from Emily.
Emily : “I CAN’T WAIT OMGGG. I am so excited!!! It has been too long since we have seen you!”
Y/N giggled slightly at Emily's eagerness before responding.
Y/N : “I Know!! I have literally been looking forward to this all week”
Emily : “Just a little warning, all the boys are gonna be here for a while, we were planning to have a bonfire/cookout today.”
Y/N : “Oh that's perfect! I'll get to see Jake, Em, and Quil and some of the new additions as well. And Sam I guess.”
Putting her phone away after her last message, Y/N zipped her bag up and grabbed it before heading down stairs, to the door, and then to her car. She quickly told Emily that she was leaving before starting her car and heading to La Push. Finally.

This is my very first Fan fiction that I will be posting on here. It is a Paul Lahote x Reader story. Twilight has such little traction on this app and i wanted to add a little more. This first chapter is more of an intro and background to Y/N. I have used She/Her pronouns. I hope you have enjoyed!
