Sometimes I think about the Multiple PC aus for dragon age and some are super plausible in a this will change next to nothing way (The Hawkes just being two sets of twins, Garrett and Marian, Bethany and Carver) others are a little harder by number but lore wise would be cool to adapt (Multiple/All Origin Wardens) and then theres Inquisition... did they all get an anchor? did one get it but they all survive? whos the Inquisitor?

something something everyone always asks me in mirrorverse doesn't Ixchel want to warn everyone, fix everyone's worldstates. something something an au where ixchel (veteran Inquisitor) ends up coming through the mirrorverse at exactly the moment another new Inquisitor comes out of the fade at the conclave with the mark. Ixchel is there, fully knowing who Solas is. And they have a poor Dalish Herald to mentor and protect and guide too. They're both marked.

Another take on the twinquisitors/double inquisitors, I know. But like.

the different personalities of even just the Lavellan she knows. The defiant and stubborn ones who are accustomed to being Listened To, especially by younger members of their clan, who Ixchel appears to be. How they would chafe at her direction. How she would be anxious and angry in turns about their stubbornness against her advice. The meek and nervous ones, who she would feel compelled to encourage and shape into a leader while supporting them in all the ways her younger self was not. And then the human inquisitors having to deal with this elven sage with an identical mark. The difference in privilege, and how even if the human inquisitors listened to Ixchel, the credit will always be given to the human; perhaps even in IDENTICAL CIRCUMSTANCES, the human makes it out with better endings than Ixchel ever did, and she ends up a little bitter.

And Ixchel's attitude overall. If it's current Ixchel or even close to current Ixchel, she would be far less frantic and angsty compared to at the start of DPDF when she speedran everything up to IYHSB. you know?

Currently working on organizing this fanfic that currently being beta-read...

And I’m realizing just... how long this thing is going to be.

Its 600+ pages in Google Docs so far... and its not even a third of the way through the plotline I had intended for it.

At the suggestion of my wonderful amazing beta-reader @varric-tethras-editor its going to end up being split into “Books.” Mostly because the first fourth or so that I’ve written so far is mainly fluff, slowburn, etc.

And then the next 3/4s is more angst, Solas being an idiot, lore (... and smut), etc.

If folks aren’t as into fluff, I can put a summary before the next “Books” after “Book I” so they know the general of what has happened thus far before everything goes to hell. (Its a TwinAU with both Cullavellan & Solavellan, not everything is going to be sunshine and rainbows)

okay so i’ve been crying abt my sister’s and my twin inquisitors forever, and wanted to finally illustrate sth from the end of trespasser... sonera (my sis’ inquisitor) almost doesn’t make it, having used so much of their energy and the anchor focus in the last fights, and telia is left alone with them, helpless, as solas walks away. it’s a... moment... so... there’s just this image of a bundle of tired, hopeless elves fixed in my mind. they’ve always been a constant in each other’s lives and trusted that’s how it’s always going to be, too. for a moment it looked like it wasn’t going to be so.
