i’m seeing an awful lot of people reblogging memes here and in the tags, going “i know i have some memes in my inbox” or “i promise i’ll answer the last couple of memes in a minute”, and i think we all know there’s very little i can do or say to soften the situation, so allow me to tell you the exact number of memes i have on my own rp blog, which contains precisely one muse!
i have 298 memes in my inbox.
nobody hates me for it. nobody is organizing a little mob of mutuals with pitchforks and torches to tear down my house and drag me for a shame walk through town!
they also didn’t hate me at my highest number of memes, which was 724.
we need to re-evaluate how we talk about ourselves on this site, bc frankly nobody is entitled to hate you or dislike you for a silly number in your inbox, okay? you’re a fantastic bunch of people. you’re wonderful, talented, kind and creative. you don’t go around hating others for their inbox count! nobody does! don’t allow anyone to think it’s okay for them to have a problem with your inbox, and for the love of god, stop thinking your mutuals are a pack of wolves who’ll rip you to shreds for having more than zero memes in your inbox at a time!
you are all amazing, and wonderful, and talented, but 2023 is the year we start developing a little more self-confidence! doesn’t matter if you have five or fifty or five million memes in your inbox! you’re not a bad person for having them there, because you’re not a good person for having none there at all! the things that make you good are the things that were always there, regardless of that inbox. okay? now go reblog some memes. nobody in the world with an ounce of decency and good sense will say a thing against you for it, that’s a promise! and if anyone does say a thing against you for it, that just means they’re dummies.

TWO AGAINST ONE - Danger Mouse (feat. Jack White)
Make no mistake I don't do anything for free
I keep my enemies closer than my mirror ever gets to me
And if you think that there is shelter in this attitude
Wait til you feel the warmth of my gratitude
I get the feeling that it's two against one
I'm already fighting me, so what's another one
The mirror is a trigger and your mouth's a gun
Lucky for me, I'm not the only one
SCATTERBRAIN - Kxllswxtch
Can't find no comfort in my shell
I hate myself with everybody else
All alone inside this hell
Within my head, I can't get out
Time and time I cannot fail
I'm paranoid, somebody help
Break my heart and wish me well
I'm sick and tired of this living hell
Loaded nine tucked in my waist
Nothing to lose and nothing to gain
Live to die, it's all to take
Got one foot out with the other in my grave
Feed me your lies and tell me it's okay
Suicide
Come and take me away
SAME GRAVES - The Ghost Club
I try to please them and appease them being someone that I don't know.
They're just believing what they're seeing on the screens of their telephones.
Ooh ohh, ooh ooh, nothing ever changes
What’s beyond control, makes you miserable
Ooh ooh, ooh ooh, don’t you mind the chains cause
Social status just won’t change the fact that we all share the same grave
we all share the same graves

WHICH DND CLASS SUITS YOUR PERSONALITY?
Class: Paladin
You’re an idealistic person who is not afraid to stand up for what you believe in. You’ve got strong opinions and you are fully prepared to back up those opinions with your fists, if necessary. Sometimes you might come on a bit strong, but you always have good intentions. You’re very determined and you don’t back down easily. You have a protective side and, ultimately, you’re just trying to make the world a better place.
Subclass (oath): Oath of Glory
Paladins who take the Oath of Glory believe they and their companions are destined to achieve glory through deeds of heroism. They train diligently and encourage their companions so they’re all ready when destiny calls. You’re an action-oriented person who believes that what you do matters more than what you say or claim to believe. You thrive under pressure and you see challenges as a test, a chance to prove yourself. Sometimes you might come across as a thrill-seeker, someone who’s just looking for fun and excitement, but you know how to take things seriously when you have to. You might be preoccupied with what type of legacy you’ll leave behind and at times you might find yourself caring too much about the opinions of others, but your drive for self-improvement can lead you to great things.

🔥 Any unpopular opinions about Lonato?
He shows off the depths of what vengeance can drive someone to do in a way that is arguably even lower than Dimitri's worst. For all the genuinely terrible things Dimitri has done at his worst, I think the one time he outright tries to kill someone he knew is if you have Byleth fight him on VW!Gronder (everyone else he just tells them to move/get out of his way), but even then the two are basically strangers on that route. Compare this to Lonato, who not only dragged in untrained civilians to fight his battles with him but also is completely willing to kill the son he adopted, all to avenge his dead biological son.
It's the disregard for that personal connection that kinda hits harder for me. VW!Gronder!Byleth - and you can throw in Randolph too - are both instances where Dimitri is threatening to kill/torture someone with absolutely no connection to him on a deep level (and the latter of which in a context where Randolph tried to kill him first lol). They're certainly terrible, and there's a reason both end the way they do (Dimitri perishing in VW and trying to make it up to Caspar for Randolph) as well as both doing a great job of showing just how much Dimitri is affected by vengeance.
With Lonato though, it shows how someone can be nearly irredeemable because of it, due to him deliberately dragging in people who have no hopes to defend themselves properly, putting other innocents in danger, and trying to kill someone who he says he sees as a son and who sees him as a father. And this is something that Lonato has been planning to do for a while now, which certainly doesn't help

MUN AND MUSE QUESTIONS
List 5 of your muse’s favourite sensations.
Being curled up in a blanket next to a heater vent.
The silkiness of a cat’s fur against their palm.
The sharp but soft prickle of a Wartenberg Wheel on their back.
The rumbling of loud music in their chest.
Edgy but the feeling of hot blood running down their throat and down to their belly.
Do they have any pet peeves?
Being told what to do instead of being asked to do something. Oh yeah, and when people do the “You must think I’m ugly/annoying/etc.” thing since it’s always comes off as guilt-trippy. There’s nothing that pisses them off more since it’s forcing them to compliment somebody or insult them. Nine times out of ten, they’re going to insult them.
Their comfort read? (could be a book, magazine, comics, etc)
A Clockwork Orange is probably one of their favorites due to the exploration of the concepts of freewill and morality. Also Lysistrata since it’s just a bunch of ancient sex jokes.
If the book they are reading turns out to be shit, do they push through just for the sake of finishing it, or do they move on and find something else?
They’ll read it to the end but they’ll mark up the pages with a red pen, making fun of it the entire time in their annotations. After, they’ll just abandon the book somewhere if they haven’t gutted the pages.
Their comfort tv show / film
Probably Pink Flamingos, Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, or The Eric Andre Show. They have a taste for absurdism, camp, and shock factor lmao.
A song that is currently stuck in their head? (or multiple)
Institutionalized by Suicidal Tendencies, Damaged Good by The Devotchkas, and I Need A Freak by Too $hort.
The next three questions are for you. do you have anything special in common with your character?
We’ve both studied psychology.
We both have an absolutely rancid sense of humor.
We are both sad little Mexicans.
What brings you the most joy about writing this character, right now?
They’re just really fun to write and since they don’t take themselves so seriously, I get to be as serious or as goofy as I want to be with them. Also their pattern of speech is really fun since it scratches that poetry itch in my brain. I just kinda get to go ham with them since they really have little to no shame and are willing to play around with anybody.
Who would win in a fight, you or them?
Coyote and I are both wimps but neither of us are clean fighters, we both function on “Fuck fighting the clean fight, kick them in the balls”. Neither of us will walk away unscathed and that much I could promise. The thing is that they have nearly one foot of height over me and, since I’m the size of a chicken nugget, could punt me like a fucking hacky sack. This isn’t taking into consideration the vampire shit or the fact that they’re a waaay better shot than me.
Any advice from your muse?
“The sun will dissolve all of us someday. Kiss somebody you love. . .And don’t talk to blond men.”
