After Malleus’ overblot, Lilia stays awake at night, the aftermath of the events burned into his mind. The remembrance of loss and helplessness at the forefront. What he lost in the past and what he could have lost now echoes constantly.

He visits each of the boys’ room.

In Malleus’ room, he sits on the bed as the fae slumbers. Malleus is still recovering from the magic he used. Lilia places a hand on Malleus’ hair, tenderly parting the hair on his forehead and rubbing his scales. Remembering all the times Malleus would laugh in joy when he was young and free from the burden of being a prince. Lilia places a kiss on those very scales, resisting healing him with his newly acquired powers, knowing Malleus wouldn’t be too happy about it. Which parent wouldn’t give up everything they had for their child? His son whom he always loved secretly, but would be more open in affections from now on. Tomorrow, Lilia will make them shaved ice and fruits. It’s been far too long since he last made it for all of them.

When Lilia visits Silver’s room, he lays his hand on his chest. Watches and counts the breaths he takes. Silver was also recovering from using his magic constantly. The fear of the sleeping curse gone but still so much needed to be talked between the two. He won’t deny it anymore. He would give Silver the name, let it be known who Silver is to him. The acorn bracelet hangs on his dorm pocket even now. With a pat to Silver’s head and a kiss placed upon his eyes, Lilia wishes for Silver’s eyes to no longer be clouded on his behalf. Tomorrow, he would play video games with them.

When Lilia enters Sebek’s room, Lilia can’t help the feelings of pride that engulfs him at the sight of him. The youngest and most tenacious. The one who is the wisest of them all. Sebek who represents the best of them all and more. He will go beyond any of them. He will go further than Baul and even himself, going down in history for his bravery and loyalty. For now though, as Lilia ruffles Sebek’s hair, Sebek is just a boy who enjoys food and praises. Tomorrow, Lilia will give them all more praises.

Lilia returns to his room.

He had nearly lost his whole world once again.

It seems he still has lessons to learn even at his age.

He would do better.

For himself and for his boys.

For now, he will watch over and love them as he always has.

To me, it feels like Sebek's eyes have become more "human" in the Armor Card than the Dorm Card.

Its not that striking green color anymore, its now like a human brown eyes, the lines have also softened, and his gaze went from intimidating to determined in the new card.

Additionally, he doesn't have the fae eyeshadow in the new card too. Its like Sebek has embraced his human side. 🥺💚

I've always looked forward to the day that Sebek will accept his humanity, face his shameful feelings towards it, change his perspective towards humans, and use his humanity as motivation instead of just viewing it as a trait thats inferior to being a fae.

When you and Sebek started dating, people had to do a double take.

ADeuce and Grim especially thought you were out of your mind, but they let you be when you explained that Sebek has his cute side and he simply had trouble expressing himself.

They had simply shook their head and let you be.

And you weren’t wrong, Sebek did have his cute side. From the way he tried to feed you extra meals to the way he would invite you out, it was adorable.

The quiet moments at the library with him was some of your favorite time with him.

He had his duties to Malleus and you had yours when it came to the tasks the Headmaster gave you.

But you both made time for each other.

Some such times were when you would pass each other in the hallways, like you were both doing now.

Going in opposite ways to your respective classes.

What you were not expecting was him to suddenly lean down and give you a kiss before continuing on his way.

You had frozen as did the trio that always accompanied you.

And you couldn’t help the fluster look on your face as you buried your face in your hands, letting your friends now drag you to the classroom.

You ignored them as they made fun of you.

Sebek definitely had a cute side to him that he constantly surprised you with and you loved that about him.
